The Morning Report — 2/7/23

upyoursnorad.jpg

Good morning kids. If you want to know just how low this junta will stoop to deceive and to demean us, here's a prime example.

In preparation for President Joe Biden’s 2023 State of the Union (SOTU) address, security fences have been erected around the perimeter of the U.S. Capitol building, a practice that has become commonplace since the Capitol riot of Jan. 6, 2021.

On Sunday, Feb. 5, at the request of the Secret Service, security fences were erected around the perimeter of the Capitol.

Acting House Sergeant at Arms William McFarland told a CSPAN reporter that the fencing will be removed on Wednesday, Feb. 8, the day after Biden’s speech. . .

. . . Since the Jan. 6, 2021 riot, security fencing has been constructed around the Capitol on numerous occasions, such as Biden’s 2022 SOTU.

This is, of course, pure optics. That is to project a false image that some threat to "our precious democracy" (*vomit*) still exists. The only threat to our republic is the junta in power. It should also be noted that the Capitol Police are supposed to be under the leadership of the Speaker of the House. The last time I checked, it was not Malig-Nancy Pelosi but Kevin McCarthy. That he allows this farcical charade to go on speaks directly to his character.

And while we're chasing the mythical existential threats of "white supremacy" and "climate change," the real existential threats to global peace and security continue unimpeded. Worse, it is evident that those who control the instrumentalities of government, less and less the original three branches of our government but the unelected and unconstitutional Deep State bureaucracy, are aiding and abetting China in achieving their goal of global hegemony. The latest info coming out about this spy balloon is truly disturbing and infuriating, if sadly no longer surprising.

Gen. Glen VanHerck, commander of North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) and Northern Command (NORTHCOM), admitted Monday that the joint U.S.-Canada organization missed previous incursions of Chinese spy balloons, including during the Trump administration.

When asked during a press briefing whether NORTHCOM was involved in tracking previous Chinese spy balloon that flew into the U.S. airspace during the Biden and Trump administrations, VanHerck responded:

So those balloons, so every day as a NORAD commander it’s my responsibility to detect threats to North America. I will tell you that we did not detect those threats. And that’s a domain awareness gap that we have to figure out. But I don’t want to go in further detail.

. . . VanHerck’s disclosure also raised questions as to how NORAD missed the previous incursions.

He said that the Chinese spy balloon that entered U.S. airspace on January 28 was more than 200 feet tall. He said the “payload” that the balloon was carrying was the size of a regional jet liner and probably weighed in excess of a couple thousand pounds. . .

. . . VanHerck said that the military did have time to shoot it down over the Aleutian Islands, but that since the balloon did not present a “physical military threat” to North America, “I could not take immediate action because it was not demonstrating hostile act or hostile intent.”

So, it was a "mostly peaceful" spy balloon that could have contained "mostly peaceful explosives." For those who are wholly unaware due to being blessed with an American education, the Aleutian Islands are part of Alaska, which is one of the 50 states. 57 if you're Obama. What I don't get it is that on the one hand, this guy is stating that the balloon went undetected, and yet it was spotted over the Aleutians? Funny how NORAD can track Santa Claus with pinpoint accuracy year after year, but not a 200-foot multi-ton Chi-Com spy balloon. Hmm . . .

Note that the propagandists and their handlers in the junta have tried to blame Trump, or at least claim that these balloons appeared over America during his first term, that he knew about them and did nothing. All of that is complete bullshit as this general has admitted.

What it does indicate, if you read between the lines is something more insidious: INSUBORDINATION.

Mark Esper was a top Trump administration official, serving as Secretary of the Army from November 2017 to July 2019 and Secretary of Defense from July 2019 to November 2020. He recounts: “I don’t ever recall somebody coming into my office or reading anything that the Chinese had a surveillance balloon above the United States. I would remember that for sure.” That raises several possibilities. Esper himself may not be telling the truth, in an attempt to cover for his old boss. The second possibility is that there were no Chinese spy balloons flying over the U.S. during the Trump administration, and the Defense Department is the one that’s lying, in an attempt to cover for President Dementia and his China-linked son.

A third possibility is that three Chinese spy balloons did indeed conduct high-altitude surveillance over the United States during the Trump administration, and the Defense Department knew about it but didn’t alert Esper or Trump. Inconceivable? Not in the slightest degree. DefenseOne reported back in November 2020 that Jim Jeffrey, who had served as Trump’s special envoy for Syria, boasted that he circumvented Trump’s orders to withdraw American troops from Syria by lying to the President. . .

. . . Jeffrey decided to thwart the will of the Commander-In-Chief of the Armed Forces because, he said, the order to withdraw from Syria was “the most controversial thing in my fifty years in government.” Jeffrey even boasted about his defiance: “What Syria withdrawal? There was never a Syria withdrawal. When the situation in northeast Syria had been fairly stable after we defeated ISIS, [Trump] was inclined to pull out. In each case, we then decided to come up with five better arguments for why we needed to stay. And we succeeded both times. That’s the story.” Cool story, bro. And not in the least implausible. We discovered the existence of the Deep State during the Trump administration because of its boasts about thwarting his agenda while inside the government. Jeffrey was just another Deep Stater.

A few things here: First, Joe Biden is now at the stage where half the time he has no idea where he is, what he is saying, the time of day, or even the meaning of the words dog, cat or potato. Someone or some group of people are directing him and are the de facto rulers of this country. For lack of a better name, America, on paper anyway.

Second, you can and many do blame Trump for a number of things that can be described as unforced errors. The biggest one was in the realm of personnel. For sure he surrounded himself with top level advisors and cabinet secretaries who were traitorous. That said, it was the next level down, the unelected lifers in the bureaucracy at almost every level who did the most damage. I'm not sure if Jim Jeffrey was directly appointed by Trump or if he falls into the lifer category. I imagine it's the latter since there are tens of thousands of bureaucrats in DC and Trump cannot appoint every single one of them. Trump intended to drain the swamp. The problem is he had no idea it was the size and depth of the Pacific Ocean and not merely an above-ground 6-foot-deep pool.

Should he have known better? I will say, even I could not conceive of anyone in the military actually working against the Commander-in-Chief like this, nor really against the people and national security of this nation, irrespective of one's personal political views. And yet, as Buck Throckmorton reminded us yesterday, look at the words and deeds of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs himself, Mark "Vanilli" Milley:

Joint Chiefs of Staff chairman Gen. Mark Milley secretly promised to warn the head of the Chinese People's Liberation Army before the United States would carry out any "attack or conduct any kinetic operations against you."

The shocking anecdote is described in a new book by Washington Post journalists Bob Woodward and Robert Costa, which discloses the extent to which the Pentagon worked to subvert former president Donald Trump's foreign policy goals. Trump's rhetoric toward China, according to a Washington Post summary, increasingly alarmed Milley, who suspected the president might order a surprise strike.

"I want to assure you that the American government is stable and everything is going to be okay," Milley reportedly told Gen. Li Zoucheng, on Oct. 30, 2020. Milley went on to highlight the close relationship between the two men, saying, "If we’re going to attack, I’m going to call you ahead of time. It’s not going to be a surprise."

Milley never informed the president of the conversation. He called Li again on Jan. 8, 2021 to "address Chinese fears about the events of Jan. 6," according to the Washington Post.

For that alone, Milley should be tried for treason and hanged. But of course, look who's running the country:

After Trump became president in January 2017 the Chinese witnessed a dramatic reversal. Within about a month of taking office Trump unleashed American power that decimated ISIS within weeks. A month later Trump ordered a strike of 59 Tomahawk cruise missiles that took out Syria’s air force. And in early 2020 Trump authorized a drone strike in Iraq that killed Qasem Soleimani, the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard and the number two leader Iran.

Everything changed with the 2020 election—characterized by massive voting irregularities—that displaced Trump and delivered Joe Biden as U.S. President. What most voters didn’t know, but Xi Jinping did know, was that Biden was a compromised president. The Biden family had received—in prior  years leading up to the election—tens of millions of dollars from Chinese business deals, and the Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement at the University of Pennsylvania had received $70 million from sources in China.

Rudy Giuliani, the former mayor of New York City, a brilliant lawyer and the most successful prosecutor of the Mafia who conducted a forensic analysis of the Hunter Biden laptop and its contents, described the Biden Family as being “owned by the Chinese Communist Party,” and Joe Biden himself as being “in partnership with the Chinese Communist Party.”

The weakness Biden signaled as President, characterized by his inexplicable decision to abruptly withdraw from Afghanistan, leaving behind some $80 billion of advanced U.S. military equipment and abandoning the strategically located Bagram Air Base was naturally encouraging for Xi. Biden’s top military generals, Secretary  Lloyd Austin and Joint Chief General Mark Milley, who were involved in the Afghanistan decision-making fiasco, have also originated other harmful leadership initiatives, such as universal mandatory Covid-19 vaccination requirements and obligatory Critical Race Theory indoctrination for the officer corps and the enlistees in all military branches—both of which policies significantly added to the demoralization of the military—resulting in recruiting shortfalls—with all of it being observed and digested by the Chinese leadership. . .

. . . Beijing could see Biden’s weakness and willingness to defer power to subordinates in the response to his order to shoot the spy satellite down three days later, February 1st, when it entered Montana airspace. After giving the order, Biden passed the buck to military advisors who said “wait till the balloon crosses the country and gets to the Atlantic”—all of which prolonged the nation’s humiliation and demonstrated a fundamentally flawed decision-making process, which Beijing was no doubt testing. Said another way, Xi wanted to reconfirm Milley’s deference to China, which Milley had previously demonstrated twice in communicating critical national security information to Chinese leaders in December and January 2020-2021, without President Trump’s knowledge or consent.

Did I say hanged for treason? Milley deserves to be hung, drawn and quartered. And the gibbets and gallows should be constructed to accommodate a few thousand of his fellow travelers. Should be, but sadly won't.

While all of the author's analysis from that excerpt is of course horribly and frighteningly true, one still has to also look at the internal conditions in China right now. Crashing birth rate, economy on a huge bubble, vast corruption that no doubt has an impact on the military’s capability and weapons systems (among other things), and most importantly, a citizenry that is increasingly angry at the regime might be the “unknown known” that all together has the potential to be a game-changer.

For sure the 21st Century is NOT going to be the Chinese Century. Sadly, the fact that we have to rely on China collapsing before we do is cold comfort. And even if they collapse first, given the road we’re on, we’re not far behind.

That leaves Global Islam to enter the scene and pick up the pieces. And Joey Sponge-Brain Shits-Pants is aiding and abetting that cause con gusto.

Can't wait for the SOTU address tonight. Gevalt.

Spot on. As much as we all dislike Biden, this isn't even a Biden thing. We're seeing, in real time, that the Pentagon no longer considers itself to be subordinate to civilian government - regardless of party. This is not good.

Absolutely. And don't let the 8th Amendment stop us. It bars punishments that are cruel AND unusual, not "cruel OR..." As any logician can tell you, that means both or nothing.

If we do it enough, it passes muster.

That's the big lie. NO ONE in DC - filling the position of Transportation Secretary - has the talent to fix this. The position should not exist. Just like most of the positions in DC.

In a free Republic, practicing capitalism, no one in their right mind would want something as critical as the construction, maintenance, and regulation of the infrastructure supporting the free trade of goods and services entrusted to one Federal department. You'd want that shit spread out over fifty states at least - preferably over the individual decisions of 350 million or so people wherever possible.

Their take was lighthearted and included chuckling at what a big joke it was. Guest made references to past examples of rock ‘n roll artists and their intention to shock. Yes, I remember Van Halen and “Runnin’ With the Devil” from my yute along with AC/DC’s “Hells Bells”… lots of other examples. The lighthearted tone from Tucker didn’t hit for me, though… this latest incarnation of shocking just seems too dark and too in-your-face. The Constitution's fatal flaw was not dealing with slavery. They couldn't do it and get it passed though, so the issue was put off and we are still dealing with it. Some want to string it out and milk it for all they can.

It isn't pure optics, I don't think. That's a big part of it. Never miss the chance to produce some propaganda. But the government probably is actually worried about some kind of demonstration or other problem. Probably not at the SOTU, but at some point. These are new procedures for any large event and I would bet it's because the government types are actually worried about something happening.

Look at what they do. Look at how they behave. Look at how they treat their subjects who were once citizens. Some of those subjects might remember, at some point, that they are men rather than little lead castings moved around a board for the amusement of the Washington rulers. Not today, but someday. After all the rhetoric and noise, the rulers know what they're doing and are afraid. Existentially afraid. Hiding behind battlements isn't a surprising development. They're building a kind of weird modern feudal world, and they will need defenses against the peasants just like their predecessors did.

________

Start with actually attacking the left on its own ground, as with New College and the SATs. Trump talked a lot about fixing DC, but didn't really do much.

What no one ever says, but all should, is that Trump actually came through on the promises establishment Republicans have been making and breaking for ages. He gave us decent judges. (Maybe no Thomas, but no Souter, either.) He did deregulate and cut taxes; generally giving us strong economy.

All of which I applaud. But he didn't pardon the 1/6 victims, and Fauci got to retire, instead of getting tossed.

Nope, not buying it. There's no requirement for someone having been charged in order to pardon them. You don't have to even know their names.

Precedent: in 1868, Andrew Johnson issued a blanket pardon for all former Confederate soldiers, without listing them by name. This was on top of previous pardons by Johnson (and, earlier, Lincoln) that had pardoned specific individuals.

On that I think I disagree. That is just old-fashioned institutional and personal cowardice. It is far easier to stand around and do nothing than to do something.

For me, the tell was during COVID. That was the opposite. They could have chosen to stand around and do nothing, to decline to enforce the awful diktats being handed down by tyrants. No arrests, no enforcement of COVID control measures, etc. They didn't. They waded right in and did it. Many did it with glee. This was the "tell" in my eyes. They were willing to increase their level of personal danger - however modestly - when it came to cracking down on the people in the name of the rulers.

This is something I have noticed for as long as I have politically cognizant: the Left fetishizes direct short circuiting of the Republic/Democratic process. Edith(?) Wilson's shadow presidency is one such example.
-So Wilson had a stroke.
Me: Ok, so why didn't his VP take over?
-No, it is so cool. So he is a vegetable right?
Me: So he was incapacitated. Why didn't his VP take over?
-No man, you are missing the point! So his wife made all the decisions of his presidency for the remainder of his term!
Me: Wait, she wasn't elected! The people did not vote for her! She is not answerable in the government because she had no place within it! This is a crime!
-I know man- Isn't it great!

And this is repeated over and over again. They love 'our democracy' all right.

>>What would DeSantis do different? I'll guarantee that he won't spend the first two years completely neutraluzed by the absolute idiot he appointed as attorney general.

I wouldn't be so sure of that, he's got to get an AG past China Mitch and his puppet master Chuck Schumer.

And the revisionist history at play here is astounding, literally no one questioned Jeff Sessions as AG pick at the time.

Trump was forced to retain Sessions by Mitch because he told Trump that they would not allow a vote on anyone else if he fired Sessions.

Again, I get it that people don't like Trump and think that DeSantis is a Cool Conservative Cat, that's going to go to Washington, AND GET SHIT DONE SON!!, but that's simply not going happen.

Certainly not the way they think it is.

It started as a climate change argument. It was in the name of climate change - not health - that NYC and San Francisco and other places banned natural gas in all new construction. The pivot was to reframe the argument as a public health issue due to the findings in an absurd paper that was likely deliberately engineered to achieve the desired outcome. That pivot failed because too many people called the obvious bullshit.

So now they're *back* to doing this "for the climate." That has been test-run in various blue hives already and the messaging already exists. I don't know why they tried the "health" angle instead, but they tried it and it failed so it's back to the well.

I feel the same. I will full-throatedly support him if he wins the nomination. But we had four years to observe his executive style, and it is true and fair to say that he missed many of the Left's stratagems and allowed himself to get played in important ways.

255 A lot easier in hindsight to see what might have been done or how over the top the response has been against the Jan 6th protestors but I don't think anyone thought they would be this vindictive or egregious in their response to a bunch of grannies and grandpas who basically trespassed. Trump had only a few days in mid January to make that call and that was before the shit really hit the fan.

There is a circular logic that Trump defenders always use. On one hand, Trump was a God Emperor playing Nth dimensional chess. Except for all the times he didn't. Then its simply Monday morning quarterbacking to note all the things he got wrong.

So, which is it ? Was he no smarter than the rest of us, or what ?

256 242 On that I think I disagree.

All are minority cases and definitely not the norm. The norm was total and enthusiastic enforcement. Those that refused were replaced by or bypassed with those who obeyed. Yes, those who refused did the right thing. No question. There were damned few of them.

No Scogg, it isn't circular logic and I don't think Trump is a God Emperor or playing any level of dimensional chess. Those things exist only in your made up scenarios. I think he is smart and tough and was tossed into the middle of a pit of vipers that none, not even you, really understand the depth and breadth.

I will say again that it is very easy to sit on the sidelines and make brilliant calls on what Trump or another person should have done after all of the pieces have been exposed but it is something entirely different to try and navigate it in real time when the arrows are flying and the knives are at your back.

On balance, Trump was incredibly successful and exposed a huge amount of what has become of DC. And I think he is the best person to continue the fight. It really isn't that hard to understand.

Well, actors (and any 'entertainer' really) were at the bottom of pretty much any ancient societies' social spectrum. I think it probably was because they did not actually contribute to society's survival like a Soldier, or a Farmer, or a brick maker. They instead chose to dance. Life was on the ragged edge and these guys chose to dance. And sing. We just lost 80,000 men at Cannae. Where were you, Jester? Singing and getting drunk of a night? That will show Hannibal!

Trump's greatest gift was the tearing off of masks across the country and the world. His great failing was that he believed there were good, honest, uncompromised people who could carry out his agenda.

We know better now. I don't think Trump does.

I don't believe it is hyperbole to say that the next GOP president (if there is one, which I doubt) needs to have a loyal and armed cadre ready to arrest and, if necessary, execute the traitors of both parties. Short of a national divorce or outright revolution.

Well he pretty clearly understands the need to both alter the makeup of the legislature(within the bounds of the GOP) as well as the need to compromise (since there's no way we get 100% people on our side). That's what he's been up to the last couple of years.

Had he more time it might work, but I don't think the legislative makeup has become sufficiently more favorable to give a rightwing President much support. Right moves, but the hour is just very late to be attempting a reform of the party.

324 Good morning, all, and thank you, JJ. They feed us crap, & I don't recall H howling, "China, China!"

Past presidents are provided intelligence briefings, partly for when a sitting president may need advice. NYT, 2/5/21, Biden Bars Trump From Receiving Intelligence Briefings, Citing 'Erratic Behavior. In part, "Currently, the briefings are offered on a regular basis to Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama." "What value is giving him an intelligence briefing?" Mr. Biden added. "What impact does he have at all, other than the fact he might slip and say something?" There's also the obligatory comments by then Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, Representative Adam B. Shiff.

5/22, Trump & the then Labor Sec directed the federal pension fund, Thrift Savings, to haul investments in Chinese stock. Stwserve dot com, 8/2/22: The TSP’s board responded by extenuating the fact that these mutual funds are available, and legal, for the American public to invest in, and arguing that it should be legal for TSP participants to have the same choice. (Read more about % of investments in weighted Chinese securities at that time.)

I think that's a bit unfair, or perhaps not quite right.

Trump was a reformer, and aggressive one. That's who he is. He is *not* a revolutionary, and a revolutionary action would not occur to him and, if recommended, he would not act on it. That is *not* who he is.

He made a real effort at reform and failed fairly completely. The institutions he was technically in charge of were not interested in being reformed. So the question in mind is, "did Trump fail at his reform efforts because he was unable to accomplish the goal, or did he fail at his reform efforts because reform is impossible?" I tend toward the latter.

That opening paragraph is a doozy:
Fact-based information rooted in sound science is vitally important to preserving Pfizer's scientific innovations, reputation, and trust with business partners, and ultimately enables us to deliver breakthroughs for patients. Anti-science activists are becoming increasingly brazen in their drive to gain and manipulate information, fueling the spread of baseless claims and endangering public health.

That's a hell of a statement. To question Pfizer is to endanger public health. A mere attempt even to acquire information - if you are engaging in wrongthink - is a danger to public health an "anti-science."

We don't know, precisely, because of that shield of anonymity that corporate structures provide.

Wade.

...the 13th Amendment — which was ratified at the end of the Civil War and sought to ban slavery and “involuntary servitude” — provides just such a right. She is asking the parties in the criminal case, which involves charges of blocking access to abortion clinics, to present arguments by mid-March.

When the State forces a woman to bear a child she does not want & cannot care for, that is the very definition of involuntary servitude!!!

A guy on Twitter who goes by the nic NameRedacted published a very interesting thread yesterday showing all the links between the intel community and social media that were established in the years prior to the 2020 election. It went well beyond the FBI and Twitter to include agencies some have probably never heard of and virtually all social media. Literally millions of people think that the end of the world is just around the corner in some number of years, and these people are the loudest talking about how bringing children into the world is evil.

It's not mass suicide in either case, but it is, effectively, mass castration.

Rights of an individual vs 'organizations'. I think one thing- and the place that we have fucked up royally- is that we have empowered organizations at the expense of the individual. This goes from the bureaucrat vs the elected official. Organizations already have inherently more power than a group of individual because they have the inherent pooling of at least a part of those members resources, therefore it can already do more than the individuals can on their own. Giving them the complete exact same rights as an individual seems to be wrong and a granting of power.

I think our guiding watchword should always be to constrain any organization's power, and leave the rights of the individual untouched. Instead, we have done the opposite.

No, not really. The argument is incredibly twisted but could - if you twist hard enough - be articulable in the case of rape. It is not a sensible argument since that isn't what slavery means, but you could perform enough gymnastics to make the argument. Absent rape, however, a merely unwanted pregnancy is impossible to frame as "involuntary." The woman consented to the sex and pregnancy is a possible consequence of sex. It is not involuntary.

I noticed, at the same time, that exactly three of the people around me - in the physical world - were willing to call it a steal by that first weekend, when action was the most critical.

Nine in 10 Americans are satisfied with the way things are going in their personal life, a new high in Gallup's four-decade trend. The latest figure bests the previous high of 88% recorded in 2003.

Gallup has asked a follow-up question since 2001 to measure the extent to which Americans are satisfied or dissatisfied with their personal life. The 65% of U.S. adults who are currently "very satisfied" marks a new high in the two-decade trend.

444 Now I do agree that we shouldn't legislate and fine people for their choice. We let people race cars? What, that's not dangerous? Who gave them permission? No one? Then why come after me for not wearing a seatbelt?

Dunno about government fining but insurance companies should be able to say that you're not covered if you disregarded standard safety procedures. Insurance companies should also be free to make choices.

How To Beat President Trump... And Don't Worry, The Democrats Are Far Too Dysfuncional And Insane To Do The Smart Thing

So much for not needing to worry...

446 Regardless of who runs against Trump they start with a big advantage, which they will beat like a drum in debates: Trump got beat by Joe Fricking Biden, and they didn't. Losing to Biden is hard to comprehend, even with the Democrats fraud machine in full support. How can you lose to Biden, the idiot? The guy who never left his basement. *SMH*

Anyway, age is another disqualifying factor IMO. Trump is too old to be president.

His personal qualities are debatable, but unlike many, I think he had to be as tough and argumentative as he was because he was facing the combined onslaught of a united Propaganda Press. If I had my way, those criminals would all be unemployed and living in their earthly paradise of North Korea. I would also send the RINO's and the Deep Staters, all of whom actively conspired to defeat the policy changes being implemented by the duly elected President of the United States. "Treason" is the word that comes to mind...

So I am by no means against Trump but I truly hope not to have him run, and in fact see him endorse another candidate in his mold arises who is younger.

I agree entirely but one is a business decision and the customer can go elsewhere, the other has the force of the Law and can put the citizen in jail.

449 So the Biden Admin went back through tapes and now reveals to the Chicoms that we didn't see their prior incursions, or that we did see them but our chain of command was too fractured to get it to the CIC help our national security --to try to establish a "Trump too" false equivalence.

Giving this type of free info to our adversaries is IMO much worse/ so much more actionable to the Chicoms than holding onto some mid-level analyst's "classified" memo on Ukraine. Yet the fact that the Admin just casually revealed so much about our strategic capabilities and command structure is covered by no one.

451 JJ, I think you and Ace are massive idiots because you both idiotically parroted the Biden Regime’s propaganda on the Russian Invasion of Ukraine.

Putin and the Russian Military are losers, and all that BS.

Meanwhile, on the worldwide battlefield, it is increasingly obvious that based on current trends the USA (and the incredibly weak UK and EU; with the exception of Poland, the Baltic States, along with Ukraine, who are willing to send their military age population into the meat grinder) is heading into a two-front war against Russia and China it is ill equipped to handle (especially with the dementia case in chief as its figurehead).

Honestly, self-identified morons (real morons, not those who joke about it but who don’t mean it) have significantly higher IQ and reasoning abilities than you.

You twit.

452 374 Pfizer makes Carter's Little Liver Pills look like Dr. Ehrlich's Magic Bullet.

If we get a do-over ... one thing we have got to re-think is the nature of corporations, for no other reason than the shield of anonymity it provides. Most of us here will agree that "Pfizer" is up to no good. But "Pfizer" is just a concept - we need something more concrete. Who, exactly, is to blame ? We don't know, precisely, because of that shield of anonymity that corporate structures provide.

Well I maintain that this applies to almost all structured entities. When we sue an entity we should have laws that allow us to target the individual(s) in the entity and not the faceless entity. When losing means a hole in your pocket then we may have better HR departments, better schools and universities, and so on.

455 Just as it was during, and for months after, Bidens inauguration, the Nations Capitol has become a locked down, Martial Law, armed, militaristic, No-Go zone...guaranteeing there will be no walk-outs/protests/demonstration 'events' such as those that took place at Trumps inauguration and every single one of his SOTU addresses to congress...demonstrations planned and led by Democrat members of congress. Some of which turned violent.

456 It seems to me that this is just the junta manipulating us, playing with our emotions, trying to get us to hate China, just as it did with Russophobia since the Cold War, as the neocons in Washington begin to understand they are losing the war in Ukraine, and now needs a new enemy to focus our hatred upon. But how gullible and stupid is the American public to believe that China would use a BALLOON to drop a nuke or to spy on us, when they have satellites and ICBMs that could do the job more effectively. Wake up, people. They're lying to us--about absolutely everything.

457 A lot of the security around the capital is just pure drama, but you could tell from the way many of the politicians acted after January 6 that they really were (and still are) scared to death. To understand what they felt that day, you have to put yourself in their shoes. If you were attacking a country’s food and energy supply, while simultaneously unleashing a horrific crime wave on their cities, and you knew that the citizens collectively owned about half a billion guns, you would be horrified at the thought of them getting at you.
