Nigeria: Muslims attack Catholic church, burn a priest to death

There is no identifying information as to the attackers in the report below, but my contacts in Nigeria inform me that in this case yet again they were Fulani herdsmen, that is, Islamic jihadis who are terrorizing the Christians of the land in efforts to establish an Islamic caliphate in West Africa.

Aside from the snark, what a despicable and cowardly group of people to do this.

Yes boys and girls, there is Karma. It just doesn't occur often enough.

A man accidentally shot himself in the leg during an alleged attempted vehicle burglary in Okaloosa County.

Justin McCall, who was out of jail on bond, allegedly stole a firearm from a vehicle and was trying to break into another, authorities said. That’s when he accidentally shot himself. A woman outside her nearby home heard him say he had been shot and she called the police.

Chicks With Dicks what can't they do?

Something extraordinarily strange happened at this year’s Miss Universe competition on Saturday. The pageant’s new owner took the stage to proclaim that women now run the competition for the first time in its 71-year history. But there was a slight problem.

The pageant’s new owner, Thai “transgender woman” Anne Jakkaphong Jakrajutatip, is a biological male …

Would she have learned her lesson if she had been bailed out? Step dad says, "Nope."

Parents will go to great lengths to teach their children a valuable lesson when they screw up.

However, one father is wondering if he may have taken teaching his step-daughter a lesson too far after she was arrested and he refused to bail her out of jail.

The man let his stepdaughter spend the night in jail after she was caught underage drinking at a party.
Sharing his story on Reddit's r/AmITheA–hole subreddit, the stepfather attempted to defend his decision.

Stepdad is an idiot for putting it on the internet. That's why you have drinking buddies.

Will High School Guidance Counselors read this story? Will College Admissions? Doubtful, very doubtful.

Considering the cost of higher education, it's no surprise that many students hope to pursue a major that will snag them a well-paying gig once they graduate.

In a recent survey of job seekers by the job-search platform ZipRecruiter, 44% of respondents with college degrees said they regretted choosing their major — with English, communications, sociology, and marketing management falling under the most regretted majors. Within each field, the survey found, the highest-paid respondents were more likely to be happy about their college-major choice.

While many college advisors will tell you that no major is truly useless — even ZipRecruiter found that of those who regretted their choice of major, 72% said they would choose it again — job experts caution against certain majors that limit your career options and salary potential.

Here are 12 majors that are unlikely to get you a good return on your investment.

Her owner Delia Lewis has reportedly been a psychic for numerous celebrities
She struggled to train the unruly pup who used to chew through furniture

40 Family story is that my maternal grandfather left my great uncle in the drunk tank over night when he was caught too drunk to go home, no idea if he was underaged or not, but I would not be surprised. Uncle was a hard drinker and grandpa was a tea totaler. It left some lingering bad feelings since Grandpa was the oldest and often had to stand in as the man of the family.

Other side of the family had an great-great uncle that used to have to be taken home in a wheel barrow when he fell off the wagon and my great grandfather would fire him until the guys at the shop told him they needed him back because the replacement blacksmith couldn't get the tools sharp enough and Grandfather's cousin that would wind up drunk in the city jail. To make it worse another cousin was chief of police. Small town America used to be the best.

Has she ever thought about the Moon landings? The astronauts that walked on the moon? Didn't this spark some questions?

80 Remember kids, the Euros may talk a good game about how nice it is over there but the locals don't actually have much in the way of legally defensible rights. Highly relevant because when Klaus Schwab, who is German, eventually gets his much desired death camps to dispose of surplus proles it'll happen first in Europe. Yeah, sure, they might try that in the USA too but it'd be a dysfunctional bureaucratic dumpster fire like every other thing the government tries to do. But in Europe, it will occur mit zee German efficiency. And the serfs will obey their feudal lords or be purged, just like the last time.

About 10 years ago, several German Universities and Research Institutes managed to hire some serious American guys to run programs and institutes. Within months they were all informed that they were under criminal investigation and likely to face criminal charges.

This is the difference between the sidereal (inertial) year, and the tropical year. There is also the anomalistic year, which is the time between successive perihelia. All three are different.

The difference is due to the precession of both Erf's axis and the apsides.

I don't know if it's authentic, but it is an interesting read nonetheless, and whomever wrote it had some inside knowledge of how Washington worked and the political figures of the day. Thus this difference is due to the difference between the sidereal day and the mean solar day, not the difference between the 3 types of years I mentioned above.

A sidereal day is one rotation of the Erf as seen in an inertial frame.

217 I am not the least bit religious, but it seriously pisses me off the way Christianity is treated in the U.S. and the rest of the world. We must respect and understand Muslims. We must respect and understand Buddhists. We must respect and understand Hinduism. I think even Judaism gets more respect than Christianity. My theory is that most Americans were raised Christian and they hate it because it is against all the popular -isms. They are a bunch of kids still rebelling against Mommy and Daddy. Try to explain the rank hatred of homosexuality promulgated by Islam and the countless gays that have been executed for it is like talking to a brick wall.

So, of course, there isn't going to be nearly the amount of outrage caused by Muslims burning a Christian minister to death as there would be if a single page of the Koran was crinckled. The CCP's treatment of Tibetan Buddhists and Uigar Muslims is totally ignored. How many people even know about much less care about the way the Buddhists of Myanmar treat the Muslim Rohinga? In southern Thailand, the Buddhists and Muslims are battling an undeclared war. But it's the Christians who are evil and deserve everything they get.

218 I misinterpreted what you were talking about. You were talking about the number of sidereal days per tropical year vs number of mean solar days per tropical year.

Thus this difference is due to the difference between the sidereal day and the mean solar day, not the difference between the 3 types of years I mentioned above.

A sidereal day is one rotation of the Erf as seen in an inertial frame.

Don't bring shit up that doesn't apply. It is totally illegal under US law, black letter law, to force or coerce anyone to participate in medical trials or experimentation. Fully informed consent is required.

Remember the CIA agent who jumped (or was pushed) out of a window whilst on LSD? The reason they were messing with him, was because he was a whistleblower about another Acid Test on some island somewhere, some other country, a bunch of people were killed. All of the Universities were doing spook shit testing for hypnosis and mind control, manchurian candidate hidden personality stuff. This is really not that hard to grok, it's just the jargon is sort of arcane. The Earth completes one inertial rotation is (mean) 86164.0905s, or 23 hr, 56 m, an 4s. The mean solar day is, by definition 86400s.

While the Erf is rotating, it's also moving around the Sun. It takes the Erf more than one rotation to catch back up with Sun.

The apparent longitudnal speed of the Sun in the sky varies, due to both the eccentricity of the Erf's orbit, as well as the tilt of the axis relative to that orbital plane.

Thus an average speed defines the solar day, known thus as "mean solar day". THis is the meaning of "mean" in something like Greenwich Mean Time.

Think of it this way.

Put the Earth at 6:00 relative to the sun. Where you're standing, it's high noon, with the sun directly overhead.

Half a year later, if the Earth is in the same position, you're facing exactly away from the sun, and it's midnight, not noon. The earth would need an extra half-rotation for it to still be "noon" for you.

Same thing for the next half-year, so the Earth has to rotate one more time than the number of days in a year, every year.

Didn't he leave a lot to his butt buddy Ptolemy?

When Alexander died he had a pregnant wife and there was much interest in whether she would have a daughter or son.

It was a son...but since he was just an infant he wasn't able to protect himself.

Alex also had a brother - but he was substantially mentally handicapped.

Within a few years Alex's son, brother, and mother were all dead.

Ptolemy saw a defensible area he could claim in Egypt and did so - but the empire fell apart into internecine war that it never recovered from

Mrs. Sock has cut my hair for almost 4 decades . It gets easier every year . Several weeks ago , she commented disparagingly on the state of my beard . Butthurt, I defended my JEB Stuart look. Her response was that I looked more like Papillon after 3 years on Devils Island . I told her that I would take of my beard but asked if she would cut my hair . She said she would if she could trim my beard also . No way, I'll cut my own hair. How hard could it be, I don't have that much? Last time I cut my own hair I believe I was 5. She's been referring to me as Alfalfa for the last two weeks because of the spot I missed on the back of my head. She said she was taking her chair with her, so she'll still work occasionally. Don't do me any good, lol. Still, i can probably get to her in 2 hours. It might be worth it if the new girl is a disaster, but according to her she is very good, and she gave her all the color formulas that she uses on me. I'm hoping. She is closer too, so maybe I'll luck out.

Alexander was bereft (they had to reag him away from the body by force).
Obviously his drinking got worse.
But it's hard to say what killed him. He got skunk drink one night, then felt ill and died 12 days later. Several infectious and metabolic diseases coukd have done it, including pancreatitis. Poison is always possible (prime suspect would have been the Macedonian general Antipater)

A Klein bottle is a 4D version of the 3D moebius strip. They both have only one surface; the top and bottom are the same on a moebius strip, and the inside and outside are the same on a klein bottle.

Also, if you build a model of a klein bottle in 3D space, it is self-intersecting. The "neck" of the bottle goes through the side of the bottle.

So wearing a self-intersecting condom, where the inside is the same as the outside, would let a hermaphrodite impregnate themselves.

The female lead, Andrea Riseborough, is stunningly better looking as a brunette then as a blonde. That is not common. But the fair skin pairs really well with darker hair.

367 Also, if you build a model of a klein bottle in 3D space, it is self-intersecting. The "neck" of the bottle goes through the side of the bottle.

So wearing a self-intersecting condom, where the inside is the same as the outside, would let a hermaphrodite impregnate themselves.
