It was on prime-time TV even before that! A guy named Bill Cullen was the host, I think. CBS purged its game shows about the same time as it got rid of the "rural" sitcoms. Only a couple of years it came back in daytime.

Cullen and Gary Moore (where Carol Burnett got her big start): both kind of accountant-looking guys with brush cuts. Drew Carey is the current version.

As a retired NASA employee, it is embarrassing that NASA scrubs its zillion dollar rocket twice for non-rocket science reasons: First was because of a flaky temperature sensor to get engineering data for engine reuse assessments, not flight-critical data to shut down an engine going bad. (This is an engine used by Shuttles, and were - this engine was never going to be used again, is to be dumped in the Atlantic)

Second scrub was because of a liquid hydrogen quick disconnect seal not sealing. NASA and many others have been successfully using and sealing liquid hydrogen QDs for many decades.

79 That QD that is leaking is only 8 inches in diameter. The one on the Shuttle was huge, 17 inches, because it fed the main engines directly. I spent the summer of 1990 on the Leak Busters team that finally got to root cause.

LH2 is was really hard to deal with because you have to be at the Pad with no one around to make the leak happen.

This disconnect is much easier to trouble shoot. The 17 was basically about 1/3 up the ET in open space hundred of feet above the bottom of the flame trench.

103 Had a interesting last night with Sams.com. Someone has been getting into my online account and ordering stuff to be sent to various addresses. Somehow they got my email address and went to the online chat feature and was able to change all of my info. Seems Sams corporate is aware of this and recommended I change my password. Told him I already did that twice and it was still happening. He said to use a vpn and it would stop. The online help chat feature has zero security and if you can get someones email you can do all sorts of stuff to a persons account. Oh and they wont give my money back, he said that's my banks problem.

1. The URL has no name, just a zillion numbers, which means recent account.
2. Cut and paste the 'Profile Picture' into Bing image search. The scammers use the same pictures over and over.
3. Look for posts - are they all in the past 24 hours? Scammer.

Elon should look into buying Facebook and getting an honest count of actual people.

Mom and Dad got it. I worry about them both as they are in their 70s. Dad is still a high trust guy. Mom I think would not have gotten the first one if left to her own devices. I don't think she has gotten any of the follow ups. They both wanted to travel and even crossing a border in a car, you needed to be vaccinated (if you were a white American citizen.) Even though I did not agree with it, I still respect the hell out of both of them as they are both very intelligent. Still worry about them.
