You can get temporary relief from steriods but as you taper, the long covid symptoms return. I have been formally diagnosed with long covid this go around (original infection in Jan 2022) and have appt to a clinic specializing in those cases. I will report back what they say.

The Benedryl self treatment which I tried for several weeks only made the brain fog and congestion issues worse. The steroids have helped me feel better but as I taper off them, I am feeling worse again.

Yes for awhile. I found Pepcid helped or the generic version of it.
Drainage from coof can cause nausea as mucus does not digest well and stomachs produce too much acid. You might also want to check your blood pressure and blood O2 ratings regularly as those spiked with me causing headaches etc. for weeks after the infection.

I went through all this crap in January 21 until April with a previous Coof infection.

I don't have the drainage, etc. Occasionally a dry cough. The nausea comes on me at odd times, like when I actually have an appetite and am cooking dinner. I've had to finish cooking and tell my husband I'm sorry I can't eat with him, and go to bed. Even got sick when I took him to a wonderful French restaurant for his birthday last Monday. Became extremely nauseous midway through a wonderful dinner.

I have Crohns so I sometimes get this thing that starts as mild headache (which I never get) and is accompanied by just the worst sicky feeling. Lorazep*m takes care of it in like 30 minutes.

But as I mentioned earlier Zofran fixes my dizzy vomiting spells - also Crohn's related. Saved me from a trip to the ER a couple times.

Nope turns out with all this zinc supplementing because of COVID, I've got copper deficiency. Which causes paraesthesia, which is tingling and stinging in extremities. Copper deficiency Also causes extreme sensitivity to cold.

The pepcid or famotidine has an ingredient that is an inhibitor of Covid proteins and earlier was part of the alternative treatment protocol.

But, I think the key is that the vaxx or the virus latches onto ACE2 receptors which regulate gut, etc. and a lot of people have varying symptoms based on which receptors get tagged. Also seen some indications that the Vagus nerve can get inflamed in some people by Covid (or the vaxx) that produces odd symptoms from head to to gut. One of those might be nausea so ellipsis might have the key to reducing your nausea.

Also you do not want to overlook a symptom for something new that is not Covid. You need to be seen to rule out a new issue that needs treated. Smartphone cameras have come a long way and are pretty much point and click now. For the most part, the phone camera electronics are sophisticated enough to pretty much kill the low end digital camera industry. Picture transfer is also easy if you have a computer and or apple/google accounts for uploads.
