Games Puppies Play Cafe

happydog.jpg

Teaching a puppy how to smooch.

Dog realizes how to work the automatic treat dispenser. You will not see him again for a week.

Puppy seeing a suspicious figure in the mirror.

Bird bop.

As the kitten wends, so grows the cat.

Cock and ball.

Puppy and kitten are pretending to be railway hoboes.

I don't want these. You can have these, then.

Adorbz: Baby having a good play with dog.

Toddler chasing shepherd.

Dog isn't sure why the kids love the slide so much but he definitely wants to be involved.

Another adorable one: Kitten delighted to discover its paws, and counting each of them.

Huge dogs need lappers too.

Cats understand the rules of the Shaw Bros. Kung Fu Action Theater Game pretty quickly.

30% pouncing, 70% seizing.

Inman: Beer' s got some kick in it.

Compilation. Contains some Ludacris.

Chaz and Kyle do water sports.

Helicopter parents -- how will he ever learn himself?!

Sick ride. Stay with it.

He changed surfboards in the middle of it.

Already got the after market wheels ready for the B-26K because I saw pictures of the kit wheels and cringed. So ordered the Aires ones, down side of Aires wheels is they are not flattened but oh well not going to be trying to sand a flat spot in resin wheels.

Also just learned the kit I ordered with the ground crew also comes with the ICM armament set that would cost an extra $20 or so. Too bad already built out of the A-1H project box SUU-14s, LAU-3as, and slicks with daisy cutter fuses. So all I will use from the set is the BLU-23 500lb napalm tanks. Concur. A tramp takes great pride in never, ever working a day in their lives. They tramp from town to town looking for handouts, freebies, unattended food and items to swipe. A hobo will work from town to town and try to avoid any scrapes with the law and is not looking for a handout.

My down the hill neighbor has 5 kids, 7-11 Jersey cows, and a lot of time spent getting them ready for the County Fair. I never knew shampooing and blow drying a cow as a thing until I moved here.

They have the only privately owned dairy cattle in the county. The kids names take up a lot of space in the awards section. Raised right.

Just another sign of how model building is now an expensive hobby for a certain number of older adults. And why the kits cost SO much more than they used to. When kids built models they were happy with the Monogram ones cause they looked like the real planes. Guess its more profitable to make a small number of expensive kits than a large number of inexpensive ones.

162 War birds were somewhat cheap into the 70s. And war bird guys were considered kind of odd. Planes would get scrapped for what would be minor damage by today's standards. Of course, they were only about 30 years old. What's kind of interesting is that unlike cars, where over time they become collectible, there's very very few war birds after first generation jets cause it's just too hard and too much money to fly fighters and bombers after that unless you are a government.

And I was never patient enough to get a really great paint job.

193 1965?

That would be a Douglas B-26 Invader. And it probably had wing spars about to fail. Which is why the Farm Gate B-26s were withdrawn from South Vietnam, one had one entire wing fail during a mission. Then one Invader Stateside had a fatal wing failure. All B-26Bs and B-26Cs were rapidly retired after that.

The 40 B-26Ks were rebuilt with thicker wing spars and two external stringers per wing spar. Which meant the eight wing stations could theoretically carry 8,000lbs of weapons along with another 4,000lbs in the internal bomb bay. 230 So I watched an episode of amazon's new "Reacher" series yesterday.... But here we are, in 2022, and Amazon wants to pretend we live in 1852.

I watched a good portion of Reacher and there were many occasions where I turned to others watching it and saying "You can tell a Millennial wrote this.... completely clueless" and then pointing out the scene and how it was clear that the screenwriter had no idea whatsoever how some thing or a process worked, too lazy to even find a video to explain it or to ask someone.

Movies get things wrong frequently. I often think that they deliberately do things wrong to obfuscate tactics that would make someone a better criminal.

IIRC the upgunned Mitchell, Havoc/Boston bombers plus the Beaufighters were rarely challenged by Imperial Army fighters after a while. The attack aircraft could turn an Oscar into confetti, while the underarmed fighter had little chance at getting past the fifties to get a shot in. By the time the Tojos, Franks, and Georges started to show up the balance of power in the air was all on the Allies' side. I don't remember B-24s being too pressed either.

Sad but true. Most of the black guys you see playing blues or jazz these days are my age. After the Democrat-controlled inner city schools cut electives to the bone, the black kids were left with their grandparents' soul & funk records if they were lucky. Hut after that it was rap and overpriced "R&B" audio porn. I actually watched a reaction video or two of black millennial guys & gals listening to Steely Dan tunes and marveling at the sound. 280 Movies get things wrong frequently. I often think that they deliberately do things wrong to obfuscate tactics that would make someone a better criminal.

As a martial artist, I can state that there are a number of martial arts techniques that are deliberately shown wrong in movies to keep teenage boys from doing serious damage to each other by trying them out.

A Republican campaign ad in Arizona that has been airing since the beginning of the year was abruptly yanked from television this week due to video of illegal border crossings.

Karrin Taylor Robson, a Republican immigration hawk running for governor of Arizona, was notified Monday by FS1, a subsidiary of Fox Sports, that her ad could no longer air until she proved migrants shown crossing the border in it were in fact illegal immigrants. The channel informed her campaign that it must supply "an affidavit that the ad was filmed along the border, as well as proof of the citizenship status of any individuals depicted," she said in a statement.

Mom gets home, cops have brought little one back, say no worries, all OK, just doing our job.

Jesse reports nothing about the neighbor, the person behind the story.

Posted by: Methos at February 09, 2022 07:57 PM (kOpft)

Just for the record: it's not a coalition. A coalition government requires that there be a formal agreement between two parties to form a majority govenrnment as opposed to the #2 party. Generally, in a coalition, a small number of the #3 party members will be given Cabinet positions. What we have right now is a straight minority government: Liberals hold the most seats, Conservatives are #2, and the doctrinaire Socialist NDP are #3. If #2 and #3 voted together, they could bring down the Liberals and force an election. But that is unlikely, as the #3 Dippers are supporting the Libs.

Not necessarily an unreasonable tactic. In some situations, the cost of total victory against such an enemy might compel a foreordained victor to offer terms rather than incur the costs of total victory. Posted by: runner at February 09, 2022 08:13 PM (V13WU)

Yes. And if the government is defeated on a money bill, that is normally regarded as a non-confidence vote. Note that it is not smart to call for a motion of non-confidence, unless your party whip is pretty damned sure he has enough votes. Because a failed motion of non-confidence is taken to be a vote of confidence is the governing party.

Common sense. I used to do a lot of custom paint on the harleys, but kinda gave it up and just do my own stuff. I had a pretty damn good mask for painting with the changeable filters. For a while here I added to my repertoire of staggeringly dull comments by digging into certain aspects of C19, at the beginning. There wasn't much interest, actually. The teen craze at the time was Whodunnit and psy-op and ...... well everything except actually examining and debunking the "mitigation" stuff starting to strangle the society.

Anyway, one amusing highlight was that CDC published a meta-study of mask efficacy (i.e., inefficacy) for ILIs in May 2020. Yep, right when they 180'd their masking guidance. The study of course reported no evidence of benefit for masking, outside a narrow (and weakly supported, and tiny benefit) exception: N95s *in a clinical setting*.

I don't know how the collapse of the society and its institutions as serious or deserving much respect gets any more spectacular, direct, and hilarious than that.

431 A handkerchief to cover your cough isn't going to stop every pathogen from escaping, but you still cover your damn cough so you don't spray all of your bronchial funk all over the joint.

You also don't go around with a handkerchief wrapped around your stupid muzzle all day, because then you'd look like a child playing cops and robbers.

434 I think Kendrick is cute and that's about it. And her comedic timing at least suggests she gets the idea of humor despite being a girl, which is attractive. But that Who Dis photo today was something else. She looked amazing. If that don't get the blood flowing, it's time to see the doctor maybe.

De gustibus and all that.

452 Want to make an H that no one would imagine exists? This is mentioned in two Squadron books on the P-61 and can be found online in the unit history of the 418th NFS. For a span of several months before the arrival of the P-61 Black Widow, the 418th used twelve modified B-25Hs painted flat black for night intruder missions. I'm playing an insanely detailed WWII in the Pacific theatre right now - daily turns, move every ship cart fuel and supplies on named transport ships, named pilots for both sides....

Anyhow, there was a squadron of British 2 engine fighters in Rangoon/Burma area for the Brits that did pretty well in air defense until they were attritted to death in the early part of the war.

Could be. Many times the "she fell and broke her hip" actually is "her hip broke and she fell".

My late mother had both of those. Broke one hip in a slip and fall, the other broke and caused her to fall.
