Rand Paul: It's Dangerous for the Country for the World to See and Hear Joe Biden. He Should Go Back to Hiding In the Basement So as Not to Encourage Our Enemies.

He said this on Hugh Hewitt's Cvck Emporium, quoted and clipped at Instapundit.

Senator Rand Paul Tells Hugh Hewitt That It Is "Dangerous to the Country" for President Biden To Be Talking in Public. "I Think We Are Stuck With Him Until 2024 [but] It Would Be Good for the Country for Him Not To Speak and Not To Appear in Public."

My pocket actuarial tables say that we're stuck with him until 2022, 2023 at the outside.

Below: As Greg Price says, this is legitimately hard to watch.

NeverForget the hustlers, grifters, demagogues and Phony Virtue Mongers that lied to foist this feeble, demented National Security Risk on us.

BTW, do give these clips a watch. I had forgotten them. Biden is really struggling to connect neurons here. His Alzheimer's is on full display here for the Kremlin and the Forbidden City.

Also note that Jen Psaki is now claiming that when her senile, demented, feebleminded boss Brandon said that the results of the midterm elections would be "easily illegitimate" if he didn't get his way on a federal takeover of state voting laws, he meant something else entirely.

Jen Psaki
@PressSec

United States government official
Lets be clear:

@potus was not casting doubt on the legitimacy of the 2022 election. He was making the opposite point: In 2020, a record number of voters turned out in the face of a pandemic, and election officials made sure they could vote and have those votes counted.

So that is of course nonresponsive gibberish; there she's saying "the elections we're saying are completely legitimate are the 2020 elections, the ones the media claims we won."

What about the 2022 elections, Jen? The ones he said would be "easily illegitimate" when he loses?

He was explaining that the results would be illegitimate if states do what the former president asked them to do after the 2020 election: toss out ballots and overturn results after the fact. The Big Lie is putting our democracy at risk. We're fighting to protect it.

That is a lie; what "Trump asked" was for Congress to not certify the electoral college results from the states.

There is no electoral college roll in congressional elections.

This is a lie. This is all a lie.

He made it clear that he was talking about Stacy Abrams' claims -- made Without Evidence-- that checking signatures and addresses, and having actual deadlines and defined periods for voting, somehow makes it "harder for minorities to vote:"

"No matter how hard they make it for minorities to vote, I think you're going to see them willing to stand in line and defy the attempt to keep them from being able to vote," Biden told reporters.

Where is the media fact-check? Where is Jake Tapper's Hi-lariously Snarky Chyrons branding Brandon a liar?

Weird that even leftwing outlets like The Hill heard Brandon -- who has said for one full year that anyone challenging the results of an election are treasonous insurrectionists who need to be investigated by the DOJ, FBI, and NSA -- say that the midterms would be "easily illegitimate" if he didn't get his way on a federal takeover of state election laws.

James Carville: Biden had "a very good day," was "tough," showed "stamina."

Carville said, "I thought today was a very good day. The best time to plant an oak tree was 25 years ago. The second-best time is right now. I think President Biden planted an oak tree. He decided that, 'Hey, look, our political situation has deteriorated here, and I'm going to personally take charge of it.' It is not a minor feat to stand there for an hour and 50 minutes, on your feet, answering every kind of questions that comes your way on every kind of different policy. So my hat is off to the president. It really is. He has taken matters into his own hands."

Two points:

I like the oak tree aphorism. But of course it's being used to paper over the fact, the admission, that all the stuff Biden should have started doing a year ago he did not do, and is now promising to start doing.

This is the guy who skewered Trump for a year about not having enough testing... who then did not do anything about accelerating the production of test kits with the winter coming and with delta still spreading and with omicron starting to spread.

The second point: I hear a lot, a lot of leftwing spinners crediting Biden for the number of minutes he managed to stand.

That's the hill they're planting their flag on -- look at the number of minutes he stood at the podium and did not die.

Yamice Alcindor -- one of the most unprofessional, openly antifa shills in "journalism," and another grossly ugly cow who can't get a man so she married the Democrat Party -- sure is impressed by the duration of the press conference.

A real laughing stock. Not the manufactured laughing stock that they tried to make Trump.

And he's their standard bearer for the next 2+ years unless he just dies of old age which would not exactly bring America to the Democratic side like the death of JFK did.

The GOP is going to take Congress and a lot of state governments. There's nothing stopping that now. What should we do to make sure they actually do conservative things.

Hugh played their future boss, Mr. Waverly. As for the scene that went on too long, for me it was the deal where Illya (Armie Hammer) is being chased on the water by killers or guards. Solo (Henry Cavill) sits in the truck and has a snack, listens to the radio for a few moments, and at last gets out and helps Illya. It seemed strangely drawn out, but I need to see the film again. (I just bought a Blu-Ray player, so I can finally buy and watch the movie now.)

That flick did nothing for me. Once the novelty of the awesome fashions and bitchin' cars wore off, the meandering plot and awful editing became more obvious. I'm not even sure if I finished the movie.

I loved the first season of the TV show, before it like every other "serious" TV show in 1966 devolved into Batman.

I work with some older, well known, actors and two were talking the other day, very loudly, about how putting Biden on TV is terrible since he's a bumbling dementia ridden imbecile. The other responded with "oh God you don't know the half of it" before being interrupted by other business. Another co-worker, who assumes I'm a lefty, just started saying to me " what thre fuck are we going to do in 2024? Biden is a mess and will be brain dead by then, and Kamala is awful and no one likes her" This person also thinks Hillary could actually win, lol. Sure she'll be a great candidate when even more about her rapist husband and how she enabled him for get own career, comes out.

This was all before his disaster of a pres conference yesterday, I'm assuming these people will soon be on suicide watch as they realize how screwed they are.

206 Biden *did* have a good day - for Biden. Right up until about 5:30 (90 minutes in), he was on fire - for Biden. Stable, speaking clearly, not bobbing and weaving, little rambling, few outbursts of impotent rage and aggression, etc. We was rested, prepared (having the questions in advance helps a lot on that front, eh>) and his drug mixture was really on point. Until it wasn't.

He first starting mentioning the time at about 5:20. He said the conference would last another 20 minutes. By 5:30 or so, he was starting to return to form. He got angry, he started slurring, etc. By the stop time of 5:40, he kept going and his collapse accelerated. By the time they wrapped up at 5:55, he had been stumbling and slurring and bobbing and weaving and rambling and hugging his laptop and wandering around for several minutes.

My guess? He was supposed to mention the time at 5:15 and end it by 5:30, with a push to 5:40 if absolutely necessary and a drop-dead time of 5:45. He went 10 minutes longer than that, and he decayed in real time. His post-5:30 performance was awful.

Whatever go-juice cocktail they gave him bought them 90 minutes of good (for Biden) performance, 15 minutes of total mediocrity and 15 minutes of stumbling disaster as it finished wearing off. Whatever it was, it probably took a *lot* out of the old fucker.

My guess is that today and tomorrow and probably Saturday, they're going to keep him comfortable and in dim lighting while he recovers. "More drugs" is probably not a big part of that, since they need him alive for the next round.

Everybody is different certainly, but it wouldn't be unusual if he can make it the next 3 years. Yes, he'll be noticeably worse, but he could do it. Especially with the ability to administer drugs most of us plebs could never get. The only thing that would move him quickly to a next stage would be stress (most likely illness, they're careful to keep him tucked away) or more likely, a fall and fracture. If they can keep him performing at or near this level, he's not going anywhere.

SNORT. A tightly controlled, scripted press conference of less than an hour was MARATHON. And they do this solely out of love. I've heard that FNM people in openly commie regimes get hired because they WANT to spin for the glorious regimes; but they also have a fear factor once in place; if they would voice truth instead of narrative they could be killed or sent to a gulag.

Our FNM might be subjected to a twitter cancel effort if they went off narrative.

Whatever it was, it probably took a *lot* out of the old fucker.

My guess is that today and tomorrow and probably Saturday, they're going to keep him comfortable and in dim lighting while he recovers. "More drugs" is probably not a big part of that, since they need him alive for the next round.

I can't even begin to imagine the sort of drug cocktail they give him - and I'd bet there's at least 1 or 2 schedule I & II controlled substances in there. It's also possible that there's a chance it could push him into the next stage of dementia - or get him awfully close. This was definitely a Hail Mary for these bastards, luckily Joe is expendable.

Posted by: Wyatt Earp

Belarus is in this with Russia. Nobody really likes the Ukraine. Their government is actually pretty rotten. "NATO" aircraft (largely US) are flying up and down the border in Ukraine airspace. People in the military know exactly what's going on.
Russia may not "take" Ukraine, but instead install a puppet government there, and declare "mission accomplished" and go home. It would be a little too obvious if they stayed.
The other crazy thing that is happening is in Kazakstan. The Russians are really worried about that, too.

No they weren't. Putin specifically called out western powers for trying to run a color revolution in Kazakhstan which is exactly what we did in Ukraine.

Not mentioned much in the US press was that one of the people arrested in Kazakhstan for the uprising was Kiram Massimov, Hunter's and Joe's former business partner.

By the way, we've been living through our very own color revolution for the last few years. That's how we got Brandon.

We really need to split in two. I truly believe we've reached a point where we have damaging irreconcilable differences and we are just delaying the inevitable. Granted the geographical split would require most of the urban city residents located in Red territory to relocate and vice versa.

494 My guess is "not many and not much." Hydration and some light sedatives, probably.

497 Given that Russia's largest Navy Base is in the Black Sea I don't a shortage of trucks will impede their progress. You do know Odessa is a port, don't you?
Posted by: Puddin Head at January 20, 2022 01:11 PM (uia9V)

Yes...spoke about this on yesterday's ONT. Odessa has most of the significant facilities for the Black Sea Fleet. But if you are going to take and hold, you need troops on the ground, hence the importance of trucks and ground transport.
Anyway...its going to be an interesting couple of weeks.

498 When you drive through it you realize that ground combat in Ukraine is more like naval battles than land battles. This had to fuck with the German's heads.
Posted by: Puddin Head

Yes, it did. It's a lot like the central plains/prairies of the US. From the Dakotas down to northern Texas, from Illinois to the foot of the Rockies, all that prairie. It's a vast place if you ever drive it. A lot like Ukraine into Russia, to either Stalingrad or Moscow.
The Wehrmacht would advance, and advance, fight the Soviet Army, and advance some more. And logistics problems. The railroad gauges were different all over and they constantly had to change supply trains.

Posted by: bonhomme at January 20, 2022 01:24 PM (AhhdW)

That's why Putin is pre-positioning a lot of stuff near the border.

Railroads can also be repaired quickly if the necessary supplies are readily at-hand. The Russians know this and will be well prepared to repair or replace tracks and small bridges. Rail ferries can substitute for major bridges over rivers. Not as efficient, but not bad if you have good engineers and transport scheduling and routing experts.
