Nice sunrise.

Pet rooster rushes to greet girl when she gets home from school.

Baby elephant bath-time.

Grumpy cat rejects your offering of bullshit "food."

Bird is just lovin' this trash bin.

Rodent rumble.

Feeding time on Noah's ark.

Dogshark.

Inman: Who ordered the spicy beef?

Intruder is hoist on his own retard.

Phone thief picked the wrong neighborhood to eff around in.

DiCaprio - who is an actor who changes his appearance for specific movie roles - has decided to ape Goldberg's bloated look for money.

Each Lent, there is a discussion among Catholics in Michigan as to whether muskrat counts as meat on Fridays. The story goes that when the Jesuits first arrived, they decided that the aquatic mammals could count as fish - a decision no doubt influence by the near-starvation state of their flocks.

Alas, no firm documentation of this exists. In recent years, it has been the custom of the Archdiocese of Detroit to rule that yes, muskrat can be counted as fish because eating it is penance enough.

The family story is that my great-uncle Ommie took Grandpa Matt and Grandma Helen to a fancy French restaurant for Good Friday, and Grandma ordered the frogs' legs. Grandpa asked her if she was sure it was fish or was it meat, and got told rather brusquely that for that price it was fish.

But right eyebrow area feels like it's drooping and a little swollen. No pain at all anywhere.

I'm a little freaked out about this, as I don't want to go to the doctor or ER with all this COVID nonsense going on. From everything I looked up, this could go away (if it's bell's palsy). But just wondering if anyone has any experience with this, either themselves or with people they know.

There are only two actual judges on the panel, the rest are apparatchiks for different factions.

So there may be some horsetrading going on, either way, I expect a constitutionally illiterate ruling fairly soon.

I had it after my third baby. You need to see an ENT. They should prescribe a steroid and an antiviral like Valtrex. It is cause by a herpes type virus inflammation of the main nerve in your face. The danger is mainly to your eyesight if you can't close your eye completely. It can take months to clear up with treatment, longer without. A few never fully get over it completely and it can come back again.

My first husband had Bell's Palsey. It's important to put drops in the eye on the affected side. They gave him micro shocks on the affected side of his face, to keep the muscles from atrophy. You wouldn't know he'd had it. He did say that food on the affected side tasted like cellophane.

Go and get it checked out. You don't want to lose your vision in one eye.

270 watching the Left painfully work through the steps of who they're going to run is comical - they are so dully predictable. After a year of incompetence, they're finally realizing that Biden is hopeless, and even their own side is starting to hate him for his failures. Ok, they think, we got Kamala!!! Oops, they realize they made a real bad bet there too.

about a month ago op/ed pieces started running on "here's 11 good people we could nominate" - except it was a clown show, full of people like Amy Klobuchar and Governor Gruesome. They got nobody, and they're all starting to realize it. So tonight, in the WSJ of all places tonight is the inevitable: "Why Not Hillary in 2024???"

I think they're going to run her, because they got nobody else.

Posted by: lin-duh at January 11, 2022 09:54 PM

Will do, thank you, lin-duh. I've been reading a ton of sites throughout the afternoon and evening. One of them below. I have not had an issues with my eye drying out. Actually the opposite with tearing up sometimes. I did some of the suggestions in the article (warm compress, cold compress (when I thought it was lymph node issue), rubbing olive oil).

This is all new for me. I'm a very private person and always handle things on my own. I don't get sick and have been lucky to not get hurt either. But this is freaking me out after it didn't go away when I thought it was just lymph node inflammation and swollenness.
