How Do You Win? Never Back Down. Never Apologize. Never Explain.
How Do You Lose? Back Down. Apologize. Explain.

The vicious, partisan, mendacious left has been merrily destroying its political opponents for years using the same simple playbook. And it is a testament to the stupidity and lack of real-world perspective on the part of its enemies that the techniques still work.

And the current "cancel culture" makes it even easier for them, because they don't even have to do any of the work! Their useful idiots in academia are more than willing to speed the destruction of a civil, egalitarian society.

Fordham University professor fired after mixing up names of two black students

In what world is a simple mistake more than a five-second social exchange? Don't get me wrong...the professor deserved what he got because he is a feckless coward who bowed to the mob, even though it hadn't even come for him yet! The reality is that the left has the media and academia so well trained that they hunt out targets...even themselves...in service to an out-of-control cult of virtue signalling that demands ever more perfect behavior according to their psychotic standards.

And those standards are unknowable, because the goal is not to hold everyone to some objective set of behaviors (no matter how insane they are), but to drag down the target into the muck of racial and class distinctions whose goal has been obvious for 100 years: the destruction of Western Culture and the imposition of world socialism.

Sounds tin-foil-hattish. But what other explanation makes more sense?

Go back to everyone accused of being a "conspiracy theorist" in my lifetime (born 1976) and they probably have a good track record of ending up correct. This is depressingly true. Cutting out the stuff like aliens (though we do know the government has been less than honest about UFOs), we live in a world where the FBI and CIA have been shown to be institutionally corrupt, the government has been shown to have conducted unethical medical experiments, shadowy NGOs have unseemly power over the government, corporations trade money for favoritism, and the management of a pandemic has been twisted up for political and possibly eugenic purposes.

The tinfoil hat brigade may not be batting 1000, but they were at least in the ballpark. Whether you're talking foreign policy, economics, pandemic policy, environment, etc. there's something that's almost universal these days - the credentialed experts are full of shit.

Granted, both our names were four letters, ending in a hard T sound, so I can understand how that might be hard for some people to pronounce correctly.

28 I remember reading "Burmese Days" by Eric Blair when the natives rioted and surrounded the English Club where all the local English spent their happy hours.

As the natives threw rocks and hurled insults at the assembled Limeys huddled inside, one of the broads screamed and mentioned "How do we escape?!".

The leader, Mr. Mcgregor?, strolled out onto the porch of the club to face the rioters and told the rest of the Limeys "It is fatal not to face them. It is the only thing they understand, never show fear and never back down" or something to that effect.

Same goes for our "savages" when they riot, hurl insults, etc.

Never apologize or give in. Tell them to go fuck themselves with both middle fingers held high.

57 Rejecting the false premises and framework is such an obvious thing, it's so elemental it didn't even used to be "a thing" of any kind, just common sense SOP.

When I was in a position to counsel some high-profile types that their real job, in the environment of the time (similar to now but not yet quite as idiotic), was 97% to dismantle the false framework, lies, and distortions underlying the "questions" they would be getting. Rule of thumb (depending on situation and quality of questioners) was that most or even all of the time would be spent dismantling the nonsense of the questioners.

When the info environment is dominated by lies and myths, that is the first step. Getting "your message" out is pointless if you haven't first set some basics straight.

The craven, and stupid, behavior of things like this Fordham academic, I have no words for, it's a different universe.

Through Hollywood and policy, they have engineered the culture to produce alienation and confusion. When they get to college, they are then steered into identity groups to (aside from the designated scapegoat group) shower them with love, affection, and acceptance and provide direction to them.

It's just like how cults and extreme fringe groups target people. They look for isolated people, tell them they're really special and that the world has wronged them. The difference is that they've engineered this type of isolation on a massive scale.

91 My spouse solved the name problem years ago when he started volunteer teaching - since he was teaching for free and didn't have the time to prep classes and learn a bunch of kids' names, he just called all the kids "you". I used to think that was rude, since this predated by a few years the "choose your pronouns" movement...now, I think it's genius. All the kids are still "you" and no one complains.

Natural Immunity More Protective Over Time Than COVID-19 Vaccination: Study

12:49 PM - Dec 12, 2021 - https://bit.ly/3lWaZv2

The naturally immune had a 10.5 per 100,000 infection rate 4-6 mos. following recovery, vs a 69.2 per 100,000 rate among vaccinated. The number of severe cases was also higher among vaccinated: 0.9 percent of all cases among that group were severe, compared with 0.5 percent of cases among the recovered. Researchers found that protection against infection dropped over time among both the recovered and vaccinated, but the drop was more pronounced among the vaccinated.

-- Survivability/recovery rate is 99.74% across all demographics. 99.99% for pretty much everyone under 50. Which is in line with seasonal influenza
-- Successful and available treatments have existed since May 2020 (HCQ, Ivermectin, monoclonal antibodies), but were banned from use in the USA.
-- Natural immunity is much better than "vaccine" "immunity".

Putting all that together, all that was needed to limit the damage of this Plandemic was (1) develop an early treatment protocol using HCQ, Ivermectin and/or monoclonal antibodies in every hospital in USA (2) encourage people to increase Vitamin C and D intake, spend more time outdoors (3) encourage people to treat themselves at home in early stages with Zinc, Vitamin C/D, etc as this Macon Co. Health Dept did (https://bit.ly/3AzW3YZ).

Oh and (4) basically do the exact opposite of everything we did (don't lockdown, don't send patients to nursing homes, don't mandate masks or "vaccines", etc).

I would agree with you if I thought humans were on the same basis as the grey squirrel, but Humans have something better.

We have transmittable culture that gives us actual tool to deal with the world and our changing environment. Modern humans have massively useful tools for interpersonal relations, and although they are developed in response to massively changing situations caused by our success in developing cultural tools to cope with the physical world, they work and development is ongoing.

add to that, actual physical evolution has been going on. You can digest milk? Tolerate alcohol? Those are mutations that caused societal and physical evolution.

I don't think there's really much doubt about them being above average in intelligence. To the extent that the Ashkenazim differ from the Sephardim, I think it's because the Ashkenazic Jews had a different culture which emphasized learning so much, and rewarded it with opportunities to reproduce.

206 Here's an abstract from the Journal of Biosocial Science (yeah, yeah) that may be of interest:

A number of studies have found that Ashkenazi Jews in the United States have a high average IQ. It has been proposed by Cochran, Hardy and Harpending (2006) that this can be explained by the occupational constraints imposed on the Ashkenazi for many centuries in Europe, when they were largely confined to money-lending. They propose that this selected for the high verbal and mathematical intelligence that has several times been found in American Ashkenazim. The current study investigates how far this theory holds for European and Oriental Jews in Israel. A review of studies shows that Oriental Jews in Israel have an average IQ 14 points lower than that of European (largely Ashkenazi) Jews. It is proposed that this difference can be explained in terms of the Cochran, Hardy and Harpending theory because Oriental Jews were permitted to engage in a much wider range of occupations and hence did not come under the selection pressure to develop the high verbal and mathematical intelligence that was present for Ashkenazim.

Posted by: Javems at December 12, 2021 01:40 PM (AmoqO)

Absolutely, but that is what the cultural tools seek to moderate. One of the most violent societies is lowland New Guinea, where the population is broken into extended families, there is no real culture of mediation because none is needed due to population density. One of the highest densities, Singapore, is low violence and the cultural tools are there to moderate the same exact instincts.
Now, housecats and ferals and wild cats have differing tolerance for humans, they have evolved in a way from being a wild animal to being commensual with humans, in less time than humans have been alive, but no way can you guarantee to turn a feral kitten from generations of feral cats into a calm lapsitting housecat that likes being around other cats. In my experience they always have issues with humans, but they can learn to exist in the house. At least mine did. Part is evolution and part is learning.
The learning is not the cultural tool, knowing what to learn is.

Posted by: Nevergiveup at December 12, 2021 01:48 PM (Irn0L)

Two points:

1. IQ scores do indicate a difference in intelligence, unless one rejects the notion that IQ reflects native intelligence, and

2. Stressing education and a strong family concept - i.e., the culture - itself reflects intelligence, IMO. (See also Asians.)

It's hard to imagine stupid people having an intelligent culture. The converse would be true, however, as is probably the case with contemporary Arabs, for example. It's easier to impair intelligence that is present than to mimic it when it isn't.

238 I do not dismiss genetics, but I suspect that is less a factor than the cultural importance given to education in some cultures. Not only the jewish culture but also the asian cultures.

The extent to which one or the other matters is, of course, a hotly debated subject, but I'm of the opinion that in a non-psychotic environment, it's more nature than nurture, although both still matter.

242 As far as Nordic races go, the lack of melanin has quite a bit to do with physical appearances. Pale skin and blue ares are both by low levels of melanin, something the northern races discarded along the way because they did not need it.

Melanin blocks vitamin D, which is very needed component of the immune system. Thus a lighter skin in northern areas would have a slight survival advantage over darker skinned people.

Charles Murray (and many others) addressed this argument by looking at the data for stepchildren, either smart into a less accomplished family, or vice versa. Likewise, for twins separated at birth and raised in different environments. The results were clear and compelling. Nature was more important than nurture.

Asian kids were practicing the violin 3 hours a day, Jewish kids were upset they got a 92% on tests because their mom would ask why did you do wrong to miss 8%.

And all those kids ended up going to top colleges. It not a coincidence. And TBH that had an influence on me as well. My parents certainly stressed education to me as well. But being in that environment I didnt want a 92% either, I wanted that 100% damn it.

There is a difference between learned behavior and instinct. Learned behavior is more complicated like who to shake down or how to take a deal or who you can safely beat up.

Instinct is more along how to choose a mate, how to deal with losing a mate, what ages infants become interesting for men and for women, what foods taste good, what is scary, all of which are extremely messy issues without any real understood reason until the evolutionary biologists and the behavioral specialists started getting a look in at it all.

He's 74 years old. At that age, Walter Cronkite and Robert MacNeill had been retired for a decade, Ted Koppel was working only fitfully, and Dan Rather had finally been sh!tcanned by CBS and exiled to XM radio. Chet Huntley, Douglas Edwards, John Chancellor, Harry Reasoner, Frank Edwards, and Peter Jennings died before they ever reached that age.

There's little doubt his net worth is ample, so the question is why is he continuing to work when the national news business is largely a sewer; that he's taken a job with Jeff Zucker's CNN gives you an answer.

Actually, that's not true. Inbreeding multiplies genetic factors, and thereby can on occasion produce amazingly beneficial effects, but much more commonly produces deleterious ones (because duff mutations are more likely than beneficial ones).

CNN+, which I believe is their streaming "service". I kind of have the sense that Fox knew they's screwed up bigly in '20, but didn't want to acknowledge it. Thus, we're seeing the night of the long knives on a much longer time scale. Thus far, Stirewalt, Brazile, Goldberg, Hayes, and now Wallace are gone (I'm sure there are others)

I've never taught people as a formal instructor, unless you could qualify teaching in the dojo, or being a Dive Master for a while. My experience is that there when it come to learning, there are two type of people: people who can readily grasp fundamental concepts and apply them, and those who need more 'hands on' or 'individualized' instruction.

It's been my experience that 'intelligence' or genetics, or social structure are not as much a factor as desire to learn and willingness to put in the work required to succeed.
