WSJ: One Factor in Bill Gates' Divorce Was Melinda Gates' "Concern" About His Dealings With Jeffrey Epstein

Supposedly Bill Gates wanted to discuss Epstein's "philanthropy" as well as his firm position on not killing himself.

Last Monday, the billionaire couple announced they were ending their marriage. In a joint statement posted on Twitter, they said, "we no longer believe we can grow together as a couple in this next phase of our lives."
The couple hasn't said what prompted the split. One source of concern for Ms. Gates was her husband's dealings with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, according to the people and a former employee of their charity, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Ms. Gates's concerns about the relationship dated as far back as 2013, the former employee said.

But Gates claims to have not known him, and does so, even though there are paper trails and photos.

There's a famous photo of Elon Musk, with Jizzlaine photobombing him, as he's getting his photo with some other folks. It's an obvious photobomb, and Musk claims he wasn't even aware she was there, until he was shown the photo. Which checks out.

He might not care. Assume the lascivious implication that he was banging non-legal teenagers courtesy of Epstein is true. What does it matter? There will be no legal consequences for Bill or anyone else. Most people won't ever know about this because the mainstream press will be uninterested in flogging the point because Epstein - largely because of the company he kept - is a forbidden topic.

The only thing this might do - and it is the likely goal - is make Melinda's settlement bigger. Bill probably doesn't care about that. Most of it is probably going to be fenced through their foundation anyway.

Not to mention another problem - which is that you limit your mate pool as a woman. Women generally want to marry up. Men don't care, or want the opposite. Most men probably don't want to marry up, but are fine with marrying laterally or down.

So if you take this approach, you also limit your mate pool even further because you probably still want to marry up. But the higher you are, the less "up" there is for you - and you have to compete with younger women for that same "up" and so *really* have to stand out.

You can be sure that if this were actually true, the press would have gone completely unchained until Trump was destroyed over it, with the story growing as new details were seeded in to the press by the IC or federal LE organizations. That didn't happen, which means it was bullshit.

The validity period for the "Trump Test" was brief, but it was 100% accurate.

It is driven by a consistent and deliberate pattern that establishes (even sometimes by ones own words) an ideological belief. "Harmful" and "suspicious" gets even a higher bar. Harmful in what way? How? Was it deliberate or just the result of poor research and execution by the grant recipient- maybe even fraud that made it harmful. Suspicious? How so? What's suspicious? Now I didn't go through all of the foundations donations. If there are things in there I am morally or philosophically or religiously opposed to like, say, abortion, I would make that argument. But I honestly don't have the time or desire to do so. My only point is be intellectually honest and use one standard for everyone. Not one for "your" side and another for everyone else you've placed in the opposition.
