Second Former Andrew Cuomo Aide Accuses Disgraced Governor of Sexual Harassment

The hits just keep on coming...and it's glorious! Whether it will have any substantive effect other than scuttling his chances for a position on the national stage remains to be seen, and I still think he will survive this. But his wet dreams of a presidential run should be a thing of the past, unless he is so supremely arrogant that he thinks he can survive the charges of sexual misconduct AND the drawn knives of his many enemies within the Democrat party.

Because that is the interesting part of this. It exposes the tension between the factions among the Democrats, and it shows which are ascendant. The establishment Democrats -- the ones who can hide their socialist leanings reasonably well -- are under attack from the younger SJWs who are fresh off their summer rioting successes and see themselves as the saviors of progressivism in America. What's scary is how quickly they have embedded themselves in the Democrat establishment. Karen Hinton, one of the first women to come forward, was his press secretary when he was at HUD, and Lindsey Boylan, Cuomo's other public accuser, had a high-level position within his administration and is now running for Manhattan Borough President. She's no pink-haired freak with tats and piercings.

It also further exposes what we have known for years about politicians of every persuasion; that they are in the main, stunningly arrogant and superior and that they truly believe that their behavior's propriety is exactly what they say it is. In the real world that is called stupidity, but in D.C. and the state houses it is normal and appropriate behavior. Politicians' sense of entitlement is vast, as we have seen recently with their flouting of their own draconian Wuhan Flu rules, playing fast and loose with clear and unambiguous election law, and a thousand other examples of the total disconnect between them and the people they love to rule.

So it's not surprising that Cuomo thinks he can behave this way. And if two women came forward, he did it to 50, and it probably worked on a fair number of them.

Some divide the left between the criminal dirtbags, and the true believers. In that sense, Harris is a criminal dirtbag, whereas examples of true believers may be people like Warren or AOC.

Now, maybe "true believer" isn't exactly right, because all of these people are charlatans to one extent or another, but Cummo is just a crook. So I don't think he's a "threat" to Harris, but he sure isn't looking like an asset at the moment.

71 I checked out Capitol Hill after college when I was told it was a great place to gain experience. It was a great time to be a Republican, so you can guess the era and year. But what I found is the only reason to work there is that you yourself want to run some day. There is no other good reason.

Many people there bust their asses. I know that was true in the 90s and I doubt things have changed too much. The staff bust their asses and make very little. But one thing I learned there early on was the place was an aristocracy. A Repub Congressman would much rather go to dinner with a Dem Congressman than he would with you and me. Sure things are different now, the lines are even more stark and people are even more divided. But make no mistake, the aristocracy on the Hill is very real. I could give so many examples.

i hear ya. Many of them are mentally and physically unwell. they have no family I suppose, or how did this happen to them. But the Dems and cities attract them. Apparently the King Soopers plaza in my neighborhood is the correct answer to all three. They take the corners at the entrances to the plaza in shifts, sunup till long after sundown.

I especially love the way "No Panhandling or vagrancy" is stenciled all down the sidewalk, and is completely ignored because unenforced.

Tent cities are the norm. Lots of old Campers and Mobile Homes parked in places with no facilities.

Some tent cities are now permanent, some migrate through the area are property owners kick them off... but that often takes MONTHS for the police to involve themselves, as they get tied up in Court.

She continued to give the same amount of money in her collection as she did before she won the lottery, but thought that we should do dinners because people in the church appreciated the money because they had worked hard. I felt like saying to her "How much hard work was it for you to walk down to the supermarket and get a lottery ticket?"

I don't have a smartphone, Bobby, to know but if it uses a web browser to view Ace's, maybe see about changing it? My tablet won't load the HQ after about 11:30 very easily using the Firefox-based Pale Moon browser but it completely loads okay on the Brave browser. (I think specific banner ads screw up the site.)

I think they believed their own bullshit projections and didn't cheat very hard because they expected a total blowout. They went into "victory formation" with too much time on the clock. They then had to punt on the last play of the game and Trump returned it for the game winning touch down.
