But a lot of people historically came to this nation because they aspired to be Americans, and knew they would have a better life if they took the chance. There is no doubt immigration policy should be based on our needs and nothing else, full stop.
But I do think the problem is we lost control of everything. Not control exactly, but our ideals lost favor with the masses. So the Left runs the schools, the parents are disengaged at the macro level, and now we lost Hollyweird, the net, the media, and business. It is pretty clear we are fighting an uphill battle at this point. In some ways it is a miracle so many still believe in this country and don't believe in the modern, warped ideas.

Yes they control all the cities that have over 30,000 people in it. But that mostly only effects the House. Senators are a state-wide election. In a State that has several very large cities that can effect the total state numbers. Especially when you get a city election with more voters than the existing population; re Philadelphia.

PA is very shady though I might put GA on that list now. PA was the surprise of 2016 when they went for Trump. I have spent a fair amount of time there and I never saw a more pro-Trump state in my life. They were not going to produce more Trump voters in the hinterlands because they already had them. But somehow the R's lost everything in PA since that one vote in Nov 2016. There must be a reason for that.

fine, i guess this is supposed to be argumentative. I prefer a good discussion. But Trump will likely say his opinion, if he doesn't, I will eat my hat. He is not the president but he is still the leader of a movement until someone else takes his place.
trump didn't want to lock her up because he thought more would stand with him, and she would just go away. She still has gone away, but so many turned on Trump that it became very difficult to govern or get reelected.

I believe that many people expected her to be locked up or at least not exonerated by the Trump DOJ. And I think he was the top vote getter, but the focus on prosecuting powerful criminal office holders, made those people eager to do anything to protect their graft. And corrupting elections was fine with them. I don't want to hear about impossible stuff like firing the Romneys or prosecuting the Comeys, I want to hear reality and actionable plans.

My very first girlfriend I met in high school. We were friends before we started going out. I met her through her brother. We played tennis, went to movies, and we shared books and music.
I hadn't seen her since 1983 when she went to graduate school. Last year, we met up when she was visiting her mother in The Villages. I couldn't have cared less what she looked like, I just wanted to see her. I think it has more to do with how our relationship evolved. She's a rabid lefty. Regardless, our friendship will last until the day one of us passes.
