The article stated that anti-epidemic authorities in north China's Tianjin Municipality are tracing people who may have been in contact with batches of ice cream. Opinions are like assholes, everybody has one. No, it's not Saturday night movie review thread. However, as a fan of westerns I don't have many beefs about the 50 best westerns of all time. This list of the 50 greatest Westerns reflects that wide legacy from the very first entry, a film directed by a Hungarian and starring a Tasmanian. It’s been assembled, however, working from a fairly traditional definition of the Western: films set along the America frontier of the 19th and the first years of the 20th century. That means no modern Westerns, no stealth Westerns starring aged X-Men, and no space Westerns with blasters instead of pistols. (We did, however, make an exception for a certain comedy that concludes with its stars attending its own premiere.) Although Johnny Guitar is a stretch. The Hungarian government knows whats going on with Social Media. With the obvious problem of not being able to meet anyone outside of your household, many affair-seekers are now holding out for the vaccine. Katherine, 50, is from Lancaster and has been using a dating site aimed at those wanting an affair for two years. After divorcing she found single men were too needy, preferring to go for married men who didn’t want any further commitment. So Canadian politicians aren't so nice after all. re Stevie Wonder, like any celebrity, he ruins the illusion when he gets into politics
Stevie Wonder said Monday he is calling on the incoming presidential administration to launch a Truth Commission to examine racial injustice. In what he called An Open Letter to Dr. King - released on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, a tradition Wonder helped establish - the iconic music star said he is physically sick by the lack of progress since the holiday was formalized in the 1980s. I am calling on President (Joe) Biden and Vice President (Kamala) Harris to launch a formal, government investigation to establish the truth of inequality in this country, Wonder wrote in the letter, which he also recited in a video. The tone of Mondays letter is in line with Wonders increasingly forceful messaging of recent months. In speeches and videos during 2020, the 70-year-old, Michigan-born star called for reparations for Black Americans and a reckoning by modern America with its slavery past. It is time for all to take the only stand. We cannot be afraid to confront a lie and a liar, he said Monday. tiny url to USA Today https://tinyurl.com/yysn76dm Posted by: Delurk Ergo Sum at January 18, 2021 10:29 PM (YwPJG) 126

They are so perfect for pretty much everything (I bake) and feel so good in the hand, I actually stocked up on them in case they ever changed them or stop making them. So Hrothgar's Theory Du Jour with the troops:
Our politicians can't trust the troops because they are mostly white and male and most white males voted for Trump, thus they would have no problem violating their oaths to potentially harm (or fail to protect) President Biden (forget that Constitution thing)... SO comrades, we need to vet ALL the troops, in every branch including the reserves, and ruthlessly root out the slightest smidgen of inherent (white or otherwise) nationalism that might be found there. Once we have done this, and cashiered the traitors from our beloved military and furthermore tarnished their reputations and honorable service, we can install ideologically pure zampolits at every level in the military starting at the squad level. Only then will we have a progressive military we can all be proud of! Posted by: Commissar Hrothgar (@Hrothgar on GAB) at January 18, 2021 10:38 PM (87oRe) 166

Unsurprisingly, Jeh Johnson appears to be as stupid, and as ignorant, as anyone who would serve under the completely unqualified, morally blank, intellectually incapable boss he had.
And here we are, with these dumb, corrupt, racist airheads, among the worst the society has stealing its oxygen, in power again, having suffered Zero consequences for their destruction of norms and institutions. -------- Almost didn't see this! I'm not really sure amigo. I'd suggest calling Remington. I'd just be guessing. Posted by: Weasel at January 18, 2021 10:35 PM (MVjcR) *break* I don't think Cannibal Bob'll have much luck trying to call Remington, as they bankrupted out a few months or a year or so back. Marlin owns 'em now, IIRC? Anyway, the 760's mag design is VERY unique to Remington, and is in no way interchangeable with a Magpul mag, which is an AR-10 pattern magazine. Best solution I know is to go to eBay, and order a handful of extra OEM Remington mags, and get handy with those four or five round mag changes. The list is not bad, though a couple things made me give the author the side eye. I also hate lists like this in general. One thing for me is always the best movie of any particular genre should be the one you have the most fun watching. If people today are struggling with making a 120 mile trip without having to take a nap, a nature walk or get a massage - we truly are a weak, easily conquered, decadent society. Those on the Oregon Trail, knowing how we would turn out would have castrated themselves for the sake of humanity to spare the world of such worthless offspring. Oh, I'll toss this out there...Katie Couric thinks Trump voters need to be deprogrammed. Did she ever read Brave New World?

165 So Hrothgar's Theory Du Jour with the troops:
345: I still like the one about the pilot taxiing into position to take off when he calls the tower looking to get the time for a time hack. The tower can't see him, so the tower calls back, "Sir, what kind of pilot are you?" The pilot is irate and calls back "What does that have to do with anything? The time is the time!"
The ATC in the tower replies, "Sir, our response depends on what kind of pilot you are. If you are a commercial airline pilot, its 3:00 pm. If you are a USAF pilot, it is 1500 hours. If you are a Navy pilot, it's six bells. If you are an Army pilot, the big hand points at the 12 and the little hand points at the 3. And if you are a USMC pilot, it's Thursday afternoon." There's no more time for divisive rhetoric. Instead it's time to cross party lines and work hand in hand to purge the poison that is Whiteness. Until every last trace of Whiteness is driven from our shores, until every speck of land, from sea to shining sea, is free of this disease of Whiteness - then our work will not be done. So join us in our holy quest to forever cleanse this great land of the filth of Whiteness. Thank you. Posted by: Democrats at January 18, 2021 11:30 PM (F9j5E) 402

So here's the thing, they owe us something for preventing us from working, but they don't produce anything of value to give, so they would have to rob the essential folk, either by taxes or inflation, and $20k to every adult in America is going to produce a metric fuckton of inflation. Typically, historians generally agree on Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, and FDR when talking about top 5 presidents. Who would be fifth? That provokes argument. For me, Reagan, for bringing the Cold War to an end among other things.
(I'm no fan of FDR by a long shot though.) The worst? Grant and Harding are generally agreed upon as being worst. Posted by: Catch Thirty-Thr33 at January 19, 2021 05:28 AM (M7K2y) 691

I'm not arguing LBJ or Wilson (they sucked and LBJ has coaused more long term damage). But Grant and Harding were garbage. Grant was too trusting, and Harding was just corrupt through and through. IMHO, FDR wasn't the worst. I see why historians put him in the top 5. Personally, I wouldn't. I had to look at how he conducted foreign policy during WWII and I came away...unimpressed. Yeah, I get it, Lincoln is your Emmanuel Goldstein.
He's not my anything. I have no visceral reaction to him, or any other tyrant in history. But a tyrant he was. Many of the declines of the Republic, and the ascension of DC over the States, came about because of him. Again, he used Federal power to destroy the most fundamental right of any member of a Republic - the right to leave. I don't hate him - pretty tough to hate anyone dead long before I was alive. What is the problem that the Dems are now trying to tackle "Whiteness" and "Systemic Racism". Almost disease-like maladies that have no programs, only recriminations and blame. If you look back through history, though, and taking from Aristotle, democracies typically end with the election of a tyrant, when the people just want the tyrant to deliver to their needs.

Kinda boggles the mind, when you think about it.

Mika wants Faceplant shut down. CNN wants Fox shut down.
Man, just imagining just wanting something else shut down that you don't agree with and think that people should just comply, because you really, really think so. It's been 32 years since the Democrats didn't contest the Electoral College vote on the floor of Congress and call for an investigation when a Republican won.

I'm reconsidering the "Red Scare".
The Democrats had ins with unions and other soft Marxists. HUAC was probably about real Marxists poaching Democrat constituencies. Posted by: Axeman at January 19, 2021 07:40 AM (FYe3W) 862

Highly recommend this video from Dr. Simone Gold, founder of America's Frontline Doctors, discussing the science (lack thereof), historical perspective, and disinformation with regard to the vaccine. Lots of great info.

Tinfoil hat time. Maybe all this shut down in DC, troops, bridges closed, barricades, is the rehearsal for the nationwide shutdown the enemy seems to crave. Super Tranny going to health, some other fuck, an Obama holdover coming in as covid czar or something, both big time lockdown fans.

"Maybe all this shut down in DC, troops, bridges closed, barricades, is
the rehearsal for the nationwide shutdown the enemy seems to crave." What are 30,000 NG troops in D.C. going to do? (BTW, if they get issued ammo, it won't be until tomorrow morning. There's no reason to issue it now.) Too many unknowns to speculate at this point. I don't think the Left is as homogenous as some think. Posted by: SFGoth at January 19, 2021 07:54 AM (KAi1n) 877
