I thought "OMG, someone has sodomized this kid with a marker, and worse still, he LIKED it! What the hell do I do now?" After a few more repetitions, I finally figured out that he was saying "FROG James", i.e., he wanted me to color him green, like a frog!

385 Good day today. I delivered an order to my one and only bricks and mortar store customer. Long drive since she's north of the city. Anyway.. she loved everything and as I came out of the restroom she ordered a ton of Chiefs bracelets and keychains in addition to what I had just delivered. I told her I made pet tags too. She said okay make 10 of those too! Am I cashing in on the Chiefs popularity? Well, of course I am.

Ace of Spades blog - the smartest blog in the world right now
Instapundit / PJ Media - the Godfather of Libertarian blogging
Breitbart - even when it's over the top, it's more than you'll get from mainstream sources

The problem is that they've managed to panic an entire generation who is paranoid about germs. After 10 straight months of panic porn and constant propaganda its not going to be easy to dial that back, especially as they have the media barfing constant stats that make it sound deadly and even worse than ever right now. Because impeachment is a political act gussied up as a legal one. 542 honestly Way Downriver not sure what you're saying

but what I was saying was merely that LARGE COHORT (Boomers) had children also of a LARGE COHORT (Millennials) and therefore those were SPECIAL or presented as such societally - not really speaking to their actual experience, in either case.

Altho I do wonder - are the (Millennial) doctors and nurses overly freaking out about SARS II because they are very concerned about the imminent mortality of their (Boomer) parents?

meanwhile Gen X and their Silent parents are exhausted and ignored and up for whatever happens

544 @525
"The things that do work: more sleep, good diet, exercise, sunlight. Those are NEVER recommended."

At 58 I made a decision to limit casual exposures but continue to train at my local BJJ club. Ended up getting the Vid, as did the spouse. However, I also have made sure of late to get sleep, take regular vitamin D, Zinc, and stay in shape.

Wife and I were both knocked out with fatigue, muscle aches, chills for 4-5 days, during which we slept most of the time. Symptoms gone in a week.
Now 3 weeks post symptoms and 100% fine, working out again etc.

We're not supermen at all, but basically healthy and took a few preventive measures. I think that if the PSAs were more about staying healthy and taking supplements even the inflated Covid death toll could have been cut in half.

545 Had to go to a machine shop to deal with valve stem guides in the cylinder heads of my car.

Old guys, old equipment. Fantastic work. Skills that won't get passed down.

546 Trump recommended sunlight and they all attacked him as a lunatic.

UV kills germs. This is indisputable. Vitamins metabolize better with sunlight.

But hey, Trump said it so it must be horrible and wrong. Besides like said above, they needed the numbers up so they couldn't allow real remedies.

547 453 This is pretty damn cool (in a way). Second City Cop, a Chicago cop blog, has shut itself down after fears that Google had cracked their anonymity and of being forcibly shut down. They've posted a long letter at :

https://heyjackass.com/

One of the reasons why I suddenly showed up here--I regrettably find myself with an opening in my blog roster. I'd heard of AoS before but just didn't have the bandwidth to get involved; we'll see how this goes, but I must say your comment section is a total blast! Far more interesting than the "hurr hurr Obama" copypasta that infests a lot of right wing sites.

As an aside, SCC will be missed. Everyone knows that about half of America's left wing dysfunction rolls downhill from Chicago and they did a great job of exposing how the dirty sausage is being made. Their blogging platform was one of Google's playthings, though, so I understand the decision in light of Big Tech's ongoing purge of the little guys.

548 We sell stuff at a farmer's market along with several others. It's mostly vegetables and home made items for everyone's table. This is pretty obvious, but it should be a regular stop for people if you have one nearby. It's good to know who grows food, can make canned goods and sew. Preppers may have lots of prep stuff, but food comes right after air and water on the short list.

Welcome to the party, pal. You'll get some bullshit here, but it is mostly unfiltered.

And that has become a rare thing.

550 On Megyn Kelly's podcast yesterday she referenced in a throwaway line "hearing more chatter" about upcoming Domestic T. Seems quite a few of these celebrity news chicks are chattering and chomping away in ecstasy, reminiscent of that girl in the book enjoying the aristocratic vampire and the young-buck werewolf fighting over her.

To be clear, she deemed DJT's recent tweets neither inciting nor exciting; and claims to oppose the permabans (but at the Megyn media tier, don't you sorta have to?)

551 Ccp, I am among those who will miss SSC, it was always a preview for what was making its way over to the west coast.

554 Ace -- please consider replacing the Amazon affiliate web link on the home page here, with something that subsidizes the enemy less. Amazon is not one of the good guys.

555 There's a much better book describing a dystopian future run by Antifa called "The Antifan Girlfriend," by Paula T. Weiss. Worth a read.
