Carter Page Lawsuit: FBI Agent Who Interviewed Me Five Times Did So By Using... A Fake Name
Carter Page has filed a huge $75 million dollar lawsuit against the FBI, the DOJ, and James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, as well as Kevin Clinesmith, personally.
Page now alleges an FBI agent used a fake name when interviewing him. Oh, he identified himself as an FBI agent. But he claimed to be a different FBI agent. That's not sketchy, right?President Trump's 2016 campaign associate Carter Page claims in a new lawsuit that an FBI agent used a fake name during interviews -- another potential breach of protocol in the FBI's Russia investigation. .. Page says FBI agent Stephen Somma introduced himself as Steve Holt during five interviews. Former FBI agent James Gagliano, who worked 25 years at the bureau, including in supervisory roles, told The Daily Caller that he had "never heard of an FBI agent going undercover as a different FBI agent" and "I'd never have authorized it." The FBI did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment."Steve Holt!" was a character name and catchphrase on Arrested Development. Was this Steven Somma's idea of an... inside joke? What the fuck is going on with this corrupt clownshow? Below, Viva Frei's analysis of the lawsuit. Not only does it seem like a slam-dunk on its face, but Viva Frei notes that the government will feel great pressure to settle, to avoid discovery. If there's one thing the corrupt FBI and DOJ cannot permit, it's transparency. I wonder if the government will then pay the judgement against Comey et al., and I also wonder what justification they would offer for using taxpayer money to pay the judgment of disgraced, corrupt former employees.

I know two (if they still are there). One I went to ROTC with (though who knows what has happened in the 29 years since then (1991, so, yes 29).
The other is/was a field agent in Boston who used to live in the D.C. area who was such a big Blue Oyster Cult fan that their tour manager wanted one of his business cards in exchange for 5 all-access passes to their 1996 Norfolk show. That was a great show. And even though all 5 of us sorta knew the band members to some minor degree (friendily of course), this is how respectful we were: Me to bass player - "Is it ok if I have a carrot?" Bass player, laughing, "dig in, man!" (or something like that). So I trust an FBIer who is the reason why I can tell that story.

My guess is "settlement." If Page forces the issue - and while I hope he does, he will do what he wants to do - then he will lose. Discovery will be embarrassing and potentially hazardous, but the final outcome if he goes down that road is "not guilty" and I suspect that he knows it. If he chooses to do so, he will get nothing for his efforts other than airing a lot of the government's dirty laundry.

My ballot and my wife's were lost (registrar's office said it was shown as delivered), had to get another for both of us. DMV can auto-register people (not supposed to do illegal aliens). What I'm about to say next is not going to be popular - but it's what I believe to be true after decades, literally decades, of watching people on both sides on this.
"Reality" is not nearly as subjective as some wish, but not nearly as objective as others insist. A lot of shit thrown around as "just the way it is" here really isn't the way it's always been or the way it has to be. There truly is a "majority rules" component to this.
Let's take an example, etymology. The meaning of words - and I had to look that up. Would have called it entomology if I didn't. A certain guy here, for a long time, really fancied himself as the final arbiter on the meaning of all words. But that's not how shit works. The application of words, the context - changes over time - and over time those subtle meanings change as well. Words are imperfect. Even educated people can, and do, disagree on those subtleties all the time.
Now - a certain person may be the gifted with the knowledge of the original meaning of said word. But if 99% of the rest of the planet uses it differently - his or her secret and sacred knowledge doesn't mean shit. The meaning of the word has, in all practicality, changed. Which means no one person could possibly be the final arbiter on the meaning of a word. This really is one of those things that are subjective - certainly not objective. Language is not a science - it's more of a collective thing.
Yet - the idea that words mean things and those meanings can not change is the kind of concept that certainly belongs to the Right. And I blather about all that to get to this - it's just one example of how the Left and Right truly do look at reality differently. And how they both really can, and do, think they're correct.

I've seen maps that showed that if the US had the electorate of 1984 that Trump would have won all states but one (I forget which) in the 2016 election.
Some of the changes since then are legal immigration of course, but there are something like 20M illegal in CA right now.
Reagan won CA 5.5M votes to 4M votes. Supposedly Biden won CA 11M votes to 6M for Trump.
So the question becomes what percentage of the illegals voted? if it is greater then 25% then yes Trump probably actually won CA.

All they've really been alleging is Chicago machine voting nationwide, with means appropriate for the technology available (plus ChiCom involvement, which probably goes back to the fall of the USSR since the Democrats need someone to do their thinking).

showed that if the US had the electorate of 1984 that Trump would have
won all states but one (I forget which) in the 2016 election.
Some of the changes since then are legal immigration of course, but there are something like 20M illegal in CA right now.

Also, just looking at the votes on referenda, Californians voted like rock-ribbed conservatives. The referenda vote DOES NOT match the presidential vote. I think they cheated large enough to throw the vote to Biden and I think they did it using mostly mail-in votes.

But liberals definitely construct an alternative reality - for example I've had any number tell me that the "threat" from white supremacists and racists is rising to an unprecedented amount under Trump. Well, in actual reality one can trace the progression of White Nationalist and Racist movements in the US and both have been on a serious decline for quite some time.
They also reverse themselves in odd ways. So in 2008 we needed president that didn't start "wars of choice". But they also supported impeaching Trump for not starting a "war of choice" with Russia over "election meddling". And they will defend those positions simultaneously.

I can easily counter that - a certain set of Liberals definitely perceive that racism is on the rise, and that White Nationalism is to blame. I'll say they are partly correct.
There is more anti-White sentiment than I can ever remember, accompanied by more White guilt. These are all racially motivated. So the Liberal is right that it exists, yet wrong in their assumptions of cause and effect. And there is most definitely a movement by some whites to rush in and fix everyone's problems for them - whether they like it or not. But those whites are affluent and just as Liberal as those that fear them. That's the great circularity of all this.
The technique that's being used is no more complicated than sending out modern day brownshirts out and naming them Anti-Fascists. But it truly is just a simple trick that fools most of the people most of the time. And, unfortunately, if a super majority believes it to be true in an unlimited Democracy - then it is true for all intents and purposes.

I read through the entire report (this was during Obamas administration) and they actually showed their work, which is rare.
I did not see any mention of the "nation of islam" gang violence (I assume it exists), but they wouldn't have included a black gang member killing a white dude in jail, since it was outside the scope.

When you define a "school shooting" as any discharge of a firearm within "x" feet of a school, you tend to end up with a lot of gang violence near a school that gets counted as "school shootings."
So, it's technically true. But "two gang bangers had a shoot out on a street corner over drug selling turf half a block from an elementary school at 2 am on a saturday in the middle of the summer" is not exactly what comes to mind for most people when you hear the term "school shooting."

Yeah, they're all using the same raw data. The FBI uses "white" as a catch all to include all non-blacks in their "perpetrator" column, but breaks out various races / ethnicities for "victims."
So does the state of TX (or at least they used to.)
The top 10 most wanted in TX are almost all "white," but many are Mexican nationals with known cartel connections and names like "Jesus Gonzalez" with 100 aliases.

As far as I can tell the majority of the left leadership wants to get rid of people without something like a war - drugs, abortion, sterilization, and general misery/suicide to get rid of enough of those "useless eaters". This will then save the planet from Global Warming and people who are not woke.

Hell, I just look back at my family, and they often had families with over a dozen kids per couple, a kid every two years or so. Multiply that by a couple of generations and you're talking REAL numbers.

Considering that their agenda will have coercion and rejection and armed conflict at some level, I would agree civil war is a goal for the left, but a civil war they can win; Which requires them to erode the opposing force substantially from where the situation is today. Conservatives have the distinct advantage if civil war were to happen today.
So leftist rhetoric and policy right now is
A. Radicalizing leftists to form a larger stronger force.
B. Discouraging any move toward confrontation from the right by aggressively pursuing any right wing radicalization as terrorism. And rhetorically opposing "right wing extremism" to stunt conservatives movement growth.
C. Reforming the military to be less American freedom loving and more globalist authoritarian stability seeking.
The game theory is simple. Reconciliation and/or coexistence is now impossible. The left won't stop until they win. It's in the communists best interests to hold off civil war for a decade, then start culling. Every day from today to confrontation only worsens conservatives position and opportunity for a peaceful divorce.
If conservatives and conservative states don't start drawing hard "will not comply" lines in the sand, deliberately that the left cannot tolerate, today, pushing that confrontation towards a peaceful divorce of the US, we will eventually lose the position to do so and make armed conflict and/or outright subjugation an inevitable outcome.
The window where the left would rather let us go than risk an open civil war is rapidly closing.
