AGAIN: Democrat Votes to Ban All Outdoor Dining, Then Immediately Hustles Her Fat Ass to Eat Outdoors at an Italian Restaurant

It's like they want to be tarred and feathered.

It's like they're taunting us: "You don't have the guts."

Who else but star reporter Bill Melugin to break this story:

"FOX 11 received multiple tips that shortly after her vote on Tuesday, Kuehl was seen dining outside at Il Forno Trattoria in Santa Monica, an Italian restaurant near her house that she has previously described as one of her 'favorite' restaurants.

"When FOX 11 investigative reporter Bill Melugin stopped by the restaurant to ask about Kuehl's visit, managers told him they "didn't want to get involved", and they have no comment."

"They have no comment" is code for, I fear fines and retaliation.

Check out the picture of Sheila Kuehl.

She looks like you imagined her to look.

Santa Clara is on full insanity alert (purple with a touch of magenta). Yesterday I went to the bank. Line halfway around the block. Letting 2 in at a time. I left. Went to market. about a dozen waiting to get into empty market. I mean, empty. I don't know what the numbers allowed are, but this looks as bad or worse than March 16.

All in order to get us used to the commie cue. Line up for every damned thing.

This will be the final nail in the coffin for restaurants. They had just allowed them to eat indoors, and now it's outdoors again. A little restaurant on the main drive has a sidewalk, and can maybe get 3 tables in front if they're lucky with proper distancing. Can't survive with a dozen customers for lunch.

Oh, and as I mentioned yesterday, Santa Clara has issued an order for a 14 day quarantine if you venture 150 miles away. 150 miles in CA? That's an afternoon jaunt. And I'm supposed to lock myself away for TWO FUCKING WEEKS? What if you're just out for a drive?

There are some seriously anti-vaccine people in this country. It's going to be interesting to see the State try to force them. Is this the opening they're hoping for to seize guns?

Posted by: Ordinary American at December 01, 2020 01:20 PM

The state will not force anyone to get a vaccine.

The state will simply do what they have done with masks and social distancing. They will require every industry and every business to require proof of vaccination before entering the premises.

So, sure, you can not get vaccinated. But you also will not be able to hold a job (unless you can work from home) and will not be able to go inside any business.

The masks and social distancing bullshit was the test phase. Now vaccine is the real goal.

Destroying small businesses is vital if you want everyone to be a peasant/beggar on the public dole.

The "thinks for itself" merchant & small business class is the enemy of the collective. If you can feed yourself, pay your mortgage/rent, pay your utilities, etc., you are a threat to them because you won't be standing in a bread line somewhere, freezing in the dark.

As Johns Hopkins showed with actual data, then withdrew after getting death threats, overall mortality has not been effected by COVID. It's a mere blip on the radar.

They get to rewrite the rules, then the businesses that are allowed to open are subject to the new rules. It always comes down to the government gaining power and control. It's a game theory tactic for complex games where you make a series of moves to erode your opponents position a piece at a time until they have no position.

It's normally what's being asserted when someone is claiming X will lead to Y, which promptly gets met with SCREEEE! Slippery Slope FALLACY!!!

You should remember this. When someone accuses you of using a slippery slope fallacy. You probably aren't, what you are probably doing is asserting that whatever proposed is being proposed dishonestly as part of a salami tactics strategy to achieve something that can't be achieved in one step.

Like outlawing private ownership of all firearms.

I think that's part of it.

Another part is genuine fear, they actually are terrified of the virus

Another part is fear of being thrown out of office for appearing to not have done enough

Another part is lust for power. As long as they can keep perception up that there's a crisis, they can ignore the people and legislatures in in their area and have absolute power.

Another part is control, just gleeful control over everyone's lives.

There are other parts too, I'm sure. And not every one of them subscribes to all the parts.

I live in CT. Our governor, Ned Lamont, announced the launching of a COVID exposure app, which you can download on your cell phone. It tells you if you're within six feet of someone who's tested positive for COVID.

This has to be some sort of HIPAA violation - if not the letter then the spirit of the law.

I can't imagine that anyone would like if they came out with an app that notified you whether you were within six feet of an HIV+ person. Why would anyone think that this is A-OK?

Yes, and there's no one type of "anti-vaxx" person, as it can range from not wanting any vaccines to simply questioning the number of childhood vaccines required + the aggressive schedule, or discomfort with the amount of testing/disclosure of possible side effects before making it required.

Here's where I start to sound like a nut: I do not trust Bill Gates and his vaccine evangelism, there seems to be some unsettling results from his polio vaccine testing in India and the others in Africa. Add to that his ideas on using vaccines to implant a healthcare passport/vaccination records and who knows what else.

Most people agree that tried and true vaccines for things like polio, measles, mumps etc. are a good thing. Not everyone is on board with having new, maybe made in China, not fully tested ones required, that were backed by seriously corrupt NGOs (e.g. WHO) and a freakshow billionaire who's spending his retirement fretting about overpopulation and tagging all of us with data receptors (or whatever).

That's what I'm seeing play out in my town right now. There's a lot of small restaurants, which are maybe 20' storefronts with a sidewalk. There's simply no space to put tables out on the sidewalk, and distance them. The chain restaurants however have big parking lots. They can afford to put tents outside, and buy a bunch of picnic tables or card tables and chairs.

No doubt OSHA has been going around making sure that the chairs conform to certain standards. Ain't no going to Walmart to buy a bunch of plastic chairs. I'm betting that this new move kills off about 30-40% of those that have been hanging on. The ones that are doing the best were already set up for take out business. It's the fancier eateries, like my favorite Italian place that are feeling the pinch.

And I think my Pho place is dead. Not a lot of people want to take out soup. It hasn't appeared open for weeks. And they have no place to set up outside (strip mall).

Fuck Newsom. And I have no doubt that all the city officials and friends are waiting to swoop in on the real estate and buy commercial spaces for pennies on the dollar. They can sit on them, and make sure it doesn't cost them a dime.

That's why Ace needs a different tactic because pointing out double standards used to get some kind of admission of guilt or shame to back down. Now they just don't care. Point it out all you want but if you want to come at the king you best go for the head (figuratively) as Omar Little and other wiser folks before him said.

Atlas Shrugged may be the longest fiction novel I ever read. One third of War and Peace. Vanity Fair was pretty long. Couple of Stephen King novels are up there. The Fairie Queen and Montagine all told might have crossed the 1,000 page mark. Clarissa was pretty damn long. Donna Tartt's novels are lengthy. Easier said than done.

You own a restaurant and want to defy the government, that's cool. The government will send in health inspectors and close your ass down. Okay, your restaurant passes the health inspectors' tests and you reopen a couple of weeks later, then the ABC agents will pay you a visit. Oh, you served to a couple of minors a few weeks ago, we are pulling your license, no alcohol sales for you. Congrats, you won the appeal a month later and your license is restored, sorry to inform you that the water main to your business will have to be replaced, so were are going to turn your water off for a few days. Water comes back on, oh, the sidewalk in front needs to be replaced and it will take a couple of weeks. And so it continues.

Likewise with Emil Maurice - part French, part Jewish, and he nailed Hitler's girlfriend and got caught. But he was unwavering in his loyalty to the Fuhrer. They remained friends until the bitter end. He made his "splendid Maurice" and his family "Honorary Aryans," over the objections of Himmler, in fact.

The problem is that states have the tyranny thing down real good.

In New York, they have gone full attack mode on anyone who defies them. They have health inspectors, code inspectors, liquor authorities and just about any agency that can kill your business teamed up against you.

I will say, people are at their end with these tactics, and open defiance is going to become the norm.

It's not just the business owners that are watching their livelihoods going away, it is now the patrons who simply want to live in peace and with their guarantees of liberty.

Not so much because its so damaging to see, but because its so awful and pointless. Its just misery and torture porn, the deepest levels of depravity and meaningless, hopless experience simply for the pure sadism of it. 377 reason, went back and read your funeral story, and your comments on choosing music made me remember my mom.

She was a church organist, and worked at all the local funeral homes, who could give her a call if a distraught family decided at the last minute that they DID want music at the service.

She kept a bag packed with the hymnals from each major denomination, but was also one of those old Depression babies who knew her instrument inside out, did not need music to play something in any key. If somebody wanted something, and she knew it, she played it.

She came back from one service with a bad case of the giggles, because a large extended family had gathered for an elderly patriarch, who had passed in a nursing home far from his remote hill community the family had brought him from when he needed full time care.

One of the families approached mom as she was setting up the organ, and she asked what they would like to have her play.

After a few minutes trying to decide, one of them said, "well, grandpa really loved Elvis. Do you think you can do Hound Dog?"

She did.

(this particular home, the organ was at a right angle behind the bier in the chapel, so it involved climbing behind the deceased, and basically playing the service with their head in your lap. She said she had a hell of a time keeping a straight face bouncing out Hound Dog, while the assembled group tapped their feet, and wept)

ATLANTA (Nov. 30, 2020) - Through a largely volunteer and donor-funded effort, nonprofit Nations In Action has uncovered the most concrete evidence of voting irregularities of any other investigation currently underway in the state of Georgia.

One of many volunteer partners, a Georgia-based voter data analytics firm has found that about 40,000 illegal votes were cast in Georgia in the Nov. 3 election. This was due to votes being cast by individuals from a county in which they no longer reside.

Data Productions found that approximately 40,000 votes were cast by voters who moved from one Georgia county to another and failed to register in time to vote in their new county of residence. Under Georgia law, a voter who moves out of a county with the intention of establishing a residence in a new county more than 30 days before an election must re-register in their new county. The law only allows a voter who moves within that 30-day window to vote in the county where they previously resided.

40,000 illegal votes are three times the size of the current margins in the Presidential race.

Vaccine manufacturers have been indemnified for years because

were manufacturing vaccines effectively as a public service (making
essentially no money on them at all), and were getting clobbered in tort
litigation by the John Edwards types.

I view the vaccine as more risky than the 'Rona. Whether Gates had a hand in it or not is irrelevant to me.

450 Unrelated and off topic, but my go-to site for fun pictures, memes, and clever images Izismile has gone stupid.

Its not so much that its political (more on that in a moment) but the memes and images have gone from being mostly by millennials and GenX, who invented the concept, to Zoomers, who are too stupid, inexperienced, and have no sense of humor to do a good meme.

So its lame and worthless, ad mostly "school sucks!" stuff from stupid kids.

They do get a little political in a really bizarre way: misusing "Karen". They do not understand the term most of the time, and instead think it means "women who don't want to wear a mask". Its very odd.

Contrarily, they are the worst of society and belong nowhere near politics or academia, yet here they are. Simple plan to break the Ivies:

Apply the Lemon Laws to college degrees. They misrepresented the benefits of college and created a whole generation of overqualified baristas and bartenders in debt up to their eyeballs.

Let them (and anyone that paid their own way for the faulty product) sue for redress.

The lawyers will be all over that shit like Vikings at Lindisfarne. They've been using high-pressure sales tactics to sell compounding interest loans to teenagers.

The endowments will be plundered, the oversized administrations will feel the axe, and entire departments of useless grifters will be shuttered.

I don't think they want people to go out and eat and drink and be merry....

Posted by: JoeF. at December 01, 2020 01:25 PM

People going out to bars and restaurants means that people are going out. Which means they are driving cars and killing the earth.

Same reason they are not allowing fans -- or allowing only something like 25% capacity -- at football games.

This is the Green New Deal cultists' utopian world. No one except for "essential" workers allowed to go anywhere, thus drastically lowering the carbon footprint of the world and saving gaia.

They are going to keep all of this going until someone finally has the balls to tell them "ENOUGH!"

Gotta wonder what all the sports arena and sports stadium owners are thinking right now. Are they prepared to never again have full capacity in their stadiums/arenas for MLB, NFL, NHL and NBA?

How about the stadiums that just got built -- Los Angeles -- or those in planning stages -- Oakland Athletics new stadium.

Bet the LA stadium owner is none too happy now they spend all that money for ZERO return on investment.

And I bet the Oakland stadium planners are putting their plans on hold.

This is the Great Reset. The problem is that it is such a massive worldwide conspiracy that people just cannot fathom that it is happening. So they don't believe it and do not do anything to stop it.

"Oh we just have to do this for two weeks to flatten the curve."

"Oh well that wasn't good enough so we just need to do it for two weeks more and then they'll let us get back to normal."

And then it's two more weeks, then 30 more days, then "second wave", then "second surge", then "spike in cases", then "spike in positive tests", etc etc etc.

And meanwhile, everyone just goes along. Masks go from recommended to required to "oh cool, we can wear fashion masks now, I look so cool!"

Before you know it, we're in "new normal" after "new normal", incrementally taking away liberty and freedom little by little.

It is maddening to see few people see this and so few people fighting back against it.

Our health department has a giant "heroes work here" sign out front. These "heroes" have expressed their desire to have people arrested for leaving their house or not wearing a mask. I'm guessing orthopedic doctors are going to be busy for quite awhile working on shoulders of people who've been injured while patting themselves on the back.

505 99 When the fuck are restaurant owners across the country going to stand up for themselves and tell these politicians to go fuck themselves with these orders.

They will find a way to stop Sysco from making deliveries to those restaurants.

It's good there's such a thing as independent truckers in this country.

I remember her from Dobie Gillis. Never would have guessed unless you pointed it out, but there is a little resemblance in the face. She always had a little bit of a squinty look to her. Well at least we know she didn't waste a lot of money on cosmetic surgery.

507 I don't think the "science" shows any particular locus of transmission, other than ...... at home. Which of course is obvious and makes sense: prolonged exposure in close quarters.

But the real point of all this is the one already known in March of this year, and for nearly a century prior - a prevalent highly infectious respiratory virus cannot really be mitigated or controlled.

Duh.

And with the IFR of this one, why would you even try?

You wouldn't.

Duh.

And the last 8 months, and the present day, give an observant person zero reason for optimism about this society.

It is maddening to see few people see this and so few people fighting back against it.

The mark of the beast. It's been foretold.

509 Is there such a thing as "ridicule porn"? Maybe a word for this, but whatever, I enjoy it.

Mark Steyn does it so well; today on Rush he went on for several minutes about "The Durham Report". He also lambasted the American election process in a several minute rant. France allows absentee ballots only if you are out of the country and can prove it: Macron says mail in voting is too easy to defraud.

Look up the AP article by Jeff Meyer January 28, 1993.

515 Can't blame the Left for thinking the Right doesn't have the guts when thus far they haven't demonstrated any.
