Biden's Choice for Head of the OMB, Neera Tanden, Spread Conspiracy Theories, Without Evidence, That Russia Changed Actual Vote Tallies, Shifting Votes for Hillary to Trump

Isn't it odd that a leftwing progressive can talk about shifting votes from one person to another and yet the media praises her as a hero rather than a deranged democracy-underminer?

The announcement that Joe Biden intends to nominate Neera Tanden as his Director of the Office of Management and Budget -- a critical position overseeing U.S. economic and regulatory policy -- triggered a wide range of mockery, indignation and disgust from both the left and the right. That should not be surprising: though a thoroughly mediocre and ordinary D.C. swamp creature from the perspective of both ideology and competence, Tanden’s uniquely unhinged, venomous, corrupt and pathologically dishonest conduct as a Clinton Family and DNC apparatchik and President of the corporatist-and-despot-funded Center for American Progress (CAP) has earned her a list of enemies far longer and more impressive than her accomplishments.

...

Few people took Hillary's 2016 loss to Donald Trump as hard as Tanden, or handled it as poorly. Indeed, she refused to believe it really happened, and encouraged others to similarly refuse to accept its reality.

In the weeks after Trump’s victory, Tanden joined numerous Democrats in encouraging electors of the Electoral College to ignore their states' votes and refuse to elect Trump as President (many rationale were invoked for this: Tanden's was a CAP article promoting #Resistance fanatic Richard Painter’s argument that Trump's violations of the Emolument Clause precluded an Electoral College win). She insisted that Hillary lost because of Russia, claiming the "Russians did enough damage to affect more than 70k votes in 3 states." And she was not only one of the first to push the Steele Dossier's claim that Russia held blackmail power over Trump but also one of the last to do so -- insisting in 2018 that “the dossier been mostly proven to be true” and claiming as late as 2019 that nothing in this discredited junk report had been disproven.

But what really distinguished Tanden when it came to unhinged and toxic behavior was her repeated (and obviously baseless) claims that Hillary only lost because Russian hackers invaded the U.S. voting system and clandestinely changed Hillary’s votes to Trump’s, costing the real winner --Hillary -- her rightful place on the throne, behind the Resolute Desk.

...

Tanden's insistence that Russia changed the voting results through hacking did not once her traumatic shock in the weeks after Hillary's loss dissipated (if it ever did)....

This conspiracy-mongering led by Tanden and other prominent liberal activists had a corrosive effect on the ability of Democrats to perceive basic reality, to put that mildly. A 2018 poll from Economist/YouGov -- conducted more than a year after Trump’s inauguration -- found that a large majority of Democrats (66%) believe that "Russia tampered with vote tallies in order to get Donald Trump elected President."

Hillary Clinton herself was the first I know of to push that conspiracy theory -- though her leftwing media partisans never discuss that.

Nor do her liberal NeverTrump covert partisans.

Even squishy liberal Republican John Cornyn says that Tanden has "zero percent" chance of ever being confirmed for any position in government.

And thus: Bill Kristol hears the call to defend the indefensible.

Just like his progressive pals are paying him to do.

What is astonishing is that within an hour of proclaiming that all "serious conservatives" get behind this Hillary Clinton puppet, he also attacks alleged conspiracy theories about the 2020 election, branding anyone who believes in vote-shifting to be "crazy" and, one assumes, ineligible to hold any position of public trust.

Even as he pimps the conspiracy theorist Neera Tanden.

Just to show he's a demented, crazy asshole who's Gay For Pay, Bill Kristol goes the additional step of attacking "Trump and his supporters" for refusing to accept the judgement of the voters.

You mean -- like NeverTrump and their progressive cocktail-party partners refused to do in 2016?

Setting up a covert #Resistance to undermine his government?

Promoting a farcical conspiracy theory to keep his government under the shadow of an illegally-spawned special counsel investigation?

You mean-- accepting the outcome of an election like that, Billybitch?

8 The amusing thing about the Republican Party's attempt to tiptoe away from the Kraken lawsuits is that they are in no way needed. If the President can make a convincing case to his hardcore supporters- and just about everyone willing to mark a Trump ballot was hardcore in one sense or the next- then it doesn't matter what the fake elections or the Breyers say. He's going to challenge, and he's going to win.

They just rigged a presidential election, where they probably lost 55-45 nationally. The DNC doesn't have to fear losing the White House - or any other house - ever again. They should play it slow now, at least until they've taken the US to Australian levels of gun ownership. After that, they can do as they please.

But they're not going to. In their rush to get everything, now, they're going to abandon incrementalism - which has been an absolutely success for them - and lose everything in something that will make the Balkans blush. Makes absolutely no sense.

Ms. Haspel's experienced personal security detail was swiftly overcome, and Haspel was seized by the gorillas. Her face was quickly and methodically eaten, and the rest of her body was chimped. 127 A good rumor would be that Hillary was expecting vote shifting FOR her, and it was blocked from within. (iirc Patrick Byrne suggested this, maybe) ... And they would bring up the vote shifting thing, since they had been doing it ... probably in 2012. I only HOPE Trump has some more Aces to play .. or at least that the White Hats have some to play, even if Trump is ready to concede. But now would be a good time for more Kraken to appear.

180 Grump, that's a sweet rig (the Henry lever). The picatinny rail's a nice touch for a lever rifle. I have an 1866 in 45 Colt, but a modern lever in .357 may be in order some day. Already reload the caliber. I'm sure those rifles are much lighter than my Uberti, which weighs a ton (brass, hex barrel), but recoil is still kind of like Antifa, more of a concept than a real thing, in those calibers, I'd bet.

It does work - for Bill Kristol. Bill's IN the Political Class. A small, bit player, to be sure - but that still beats the shit out of being one of the rubes. Imagine, Bill sits down at his keyboard - and can realistically expect to influence, in a small way, some of the higher up movers and shakers in the Political System. I'm pretty sure that thrills Bill right down to the tiny shank of his pecker.

Make fun of him all you want - but Bill's got more influence than you or me. What are we gonna' do - call a congressman ? Vote - so they can throw it out and tell us they won anyway ?

Posted by: LizLem at November 30, 2020 07:25 PM (Rbfr/)

I live amongst these people.

The mindset is this: the spent their entire lives while growing up in Bumblefuck, Iowa, dreaming of moving to NYC. Many of them watched Friends and Sex in the City or Seinfeld or whatever (depending on their generation) and always fantasized about leaving their small town where they were uncool to live somewhere that they thought was the coolest place on earth, and that just living there would make them cool.

And they think everyone else secretly had the same wish. And anyone who didn't make it there was either too stupid to get out of bumblefuck, or one of those loser high school jocks who used to make fun of them. And it drives these city denizens absolutely fucking nuts when they go back to their hometown and say "I live in Brooklyn" and the response is "oh, right on. Well, my husband and I just bought our first house and my career is progressing well, and..."

So anyways, its a mix of disdain for people in "fly over country" and secret loathing that they are happier then the people in cities are.

James Dixon, 29, is accused of stabbing the boyfriend of the host who invited him over for a Thanksgiving feast. Vincell Jackson, 52, took issue with Dixon eating leftovers with his bare hands at 3:15 a.m. Dixon, who had several alcoholic drinks, responded to the criticism by sucker-punching Jackson. Shortly thereafter, Jackson was found on the front porch. He had been stabbed nine times.

There were no direct witnesses once the fight went outside, where Jackson was stabbed. Dixon's attorney said his client acted in self-defense.

I'm personally not a huge city person. Despite outward appearances, I'm a bit of introvert, so being surrounded by hordes of people all day every day is a bit exhausting for me.

But, I do like being able to walk around and find a bar / whatever kind of food I want / whatever at any time very easily. It's fun -- walking home from work, see a bar you've never been to, popping in and grabbing a few drinks, talking to people (pre-covid, obviously)

Plus casual dating in cities is wayyyy better. But, harder to find someone to be in a serious relationship with.

Neither is better or worse just different and better or worse depends on what you want out of life and where you are in life. It included testimony from cybersecurity, data scientists, and computer engineer experts proving online access overseas and mathematical anomalies; as well as certified poll watchers who witnessed a multitude of bizarre and suspect and malicious acts, including fraudulent signatures, overvoting, and mysterious ballots. Many of the poll watchers had technical backgrounds as well.

And today Ace of Spades gives oxygen to Biden's fantasy pick for OMB.

Us conservatives have to cease being obsessed with what the mainstream news says about Biden or really anything. This practice reminds me of Proverbs 26:11. As Giuliani said, We don't have to be suckered.

'Sheriff, hurry up please.' Disabled Florida man battles intruder as cops wait down the street.
A neighborhood is questioning why Florida deputies would leave a terrified, disabled man to fend for himself for as long as they did.

https://t.co/GO1HHnN1ji?amp=1

FORT LAUDERDALE - He had just stepped from the shower and was settling in for the night when he caught a glimpse of a figure outside his window.

Seventy-year-old Bill Norkunas, a childhood polio survivor, headed over to the light and flicked it on hoping to scare away whoever was there. Instead, the light was a beacon drawing a young man to his front door, a door made of glass.

And then for the next 15 minutes, Norkunas stood there, barefoot and unclothed, with his crutches, on one side of the glass pane trying to steady a gun in his trembling hand while the stranger stood on the other side, pounding on the door, banging it with his hip or gnawing at the thick hurricane-grade glass with a garden paver.

Norkunas, who suffered minor injuries from the glass digging into his foot, has no idea why the man, later identified as 23-year-old Timothy Johnson of Fort Lauderdale, tried to break down his door on Nov. 7.

And as bewildering, and just as terrifying to him, is the knowledge that a squad of Broward sheriff's deputies responded to his Tamarac neighborhood, but none came close to his home to stop the man. Instead, they waited down the street until he walked over to them and surrendered, witnesses told the South Florida Sun Sentinel.

The result is a palpable sense of outrage toward the Sheriff's Office with many in the neighborhood questioning why deputies would leave a terrified, disabled man to fend for himself for as long as they did.

The Sheriff's Office refused to answer questions about the response...

There are a LOT of people in the government who shouldn't be there.

I think it's a combination of Trump
1) being naive and not realizing what he was dealing with. Which is hard to believe, but I can't really explain some of his decisions otherwise.
and
2) being surrounded by DC swamp people. He says "who is the best person for this job?" and his staff say "oh, this swamp dweller who is totally not a swamp dweller and who loves you!"
and
3) this is how things work in DC -- everyone is lobbying to get their people in valuable positions and I'm sure that that involves a lot of trading of favors. (you hire my guy, I'll support x legislation that you need to get passed)

I would have really liked more out of the box thinking on Trumps part, but... it is what it is.

One of these people came to my house yesterday. I love her dearly, but I cannot stand to be around her anymore.

It also occurred to me that a bunch of folks in the DC metro area are contractors, and if we get out of Afghanistan, Iraq, East Africa, etc, they will be out of a job. One of the first, if not the first thing, I have done when moving is get a mailbox. Even lived in the automobile for weeks at a time.

So I guess I was 'homeless'.

Was also somewhat miffed that I could not register to vote using to drop box.

Then there was the guy who told the judge that he was, "standing on the corner, cleaning is knife, when the guy ran up and jumped on it 27 times.".

479 There should be a nevertrump list and if a politician hires one of them then 1) primary them or 2) don't vote for them. If they're currently in office let them know they list your vote for hiring a nevertrump consultant. Nevertrump needs be to be a permanent Scarlett letter. Go be a democrat.

480 I wonder if Bidens handlers tell him of his appointments before or after the public announcements. Telling him too soon just creates opportunities for gaffes and telling him after seems a little rude to the elder statesman.

The Supreme Court has a clear path to reverse the theft of the 2020 election without disenfranchising a single vote.
Obviously there is a mountain of evidence for SCOTUS to rule that Constitutionally protected State election laws were methodically violated on an immense scale. But the following remedy is fully within its power:
The mail-in ballot counts of each law-breaking county are voided due to massive ballot spoilage caused by that county's grossly unconstitutional actions. SCOTUS further rules that any county which mixed its invalid mail-in ballots with its valid ballots chose to undertake unnecessary and easily avoidable actions which tainted and nullified that county's entire ballot count.
Note that this does _not_ void the millions of valid ballots legally cast elsewhere in the State. However, it does void that State's current certification of election results. But the State is also free to re-tabulate its vote total (excluding the illegal mail-in ballots) and then recertify its election results.
Unless there are State law provisions for recertification in the wake nullification: the State is not required to recertify. If the Governor and Secretary of State prefer to do nothing and effectively disenfranchise the millions of legal voters in its State, that is entire on them.

But by virtue of SCOTUS's remedy, the millions of valid votes which were cast in each of these contested States remain perfectly legal and eligible for State recertification. Moreover, none of these millions of legal votes are cancelled or diluted by the hundreds of thousands of illegal ballots which the law-breaking counties tried to dump into the State's vote totals. So rather than SCOTUS disenfranchising a single legal vote: it protects all the legal votes from being diluted by illegal ballots.

SCOTUS simply puts the responsibility of legally and Constitutionally recertifying that State's election results square back on the State itself.
If the Governor and Secretary of State fail to legally recertify, the legislature always has the Constitutional right to slate its State's electoral votes for the candidate of its choice. If the legislature chooses not to act: then under the Constitution, the State has opted to refrain from participating in the 2020 electoral college. - Which is the State's prerogative.

Summary:

SCOTUS provides remedy by nullifying illegal ballots and unconstitutional State certifications. It does not nullify any legal votes.
Then, each State which had its certification nullified has the option of recertifying its election results - but without including the illegal ballots.
