The food and wine were wonderful, and we had a handsome 28-year-old steward who waited on us hand and foot.. And the Taste hotel was great! They'd just finished a $5 million remodeling, and now it's a jewel, the finest hotel in the city. A few years later, he came up with the concept of an enormous vehicle nicknamed “The Rhino”. Defining features were its massive slanted front wheels, which had six-foot diameters and weighed 1,500 pounds each. The wheels were also hollow, which allowed the Rhino to float, meanwhile, a hydrojet propelled it forward along the water body.

Ingredients 1 cup sugar 1 tsp. Baking powder
1 cup water 1 tsp. salt
1 cup of brown sugar lemon juice
4 large eggs Some nuts
1 bottle vodka 1 bottle vodka
Instructions Sample a cup of vodka to check quality Take a large bowl Check the vodka again to be sure it is of the highest quality then repeat. Turn on the electric mixer. Beat one cup of butter in a large fluffy bowl. Add 1 teaspoon of sugar. Beat again. At this point, it is best to make sure the vodka is still ok. Try another cup just in case. Turn off the mixer thingy. Break 2 eegs and add to the bowl and chuck in the cup of dried fruit. Pick the fruit up off the floor, wash it and put it in the bowl a piece at a time trying to count. Mix on the turner. If the fried druit getas stuck in the beaterers, just pry it loose with the drewscriver Sample the vodka to test for tonsisticity. Next sift 2 cups of salt, or something. Check the vodka. Now shift the lemon juice and strain your nuts. Add one table. Add a spoon of sugar, or somefink. Whatever you can find. Greash the oven. Turn the cake tin 360 degrees and try not to fall over. Don’t forget to beat off the turner. Finally, throw the bowl through the window. Finish the vodka and wipe the counter with the cat

So we used to have 2 major exams in secondary school (equivalent of 7th - 12th grades) - junior school certificate exam (after 7th - 9th) and senior school certificate exam (10 - 12). Classes continued throughout the 3 years, and in those exams, we were tested on everything we had learned over the 3 years in 12 or 13 subjects for the junior exam and in 8 or 9 subjects for the senior exams. The exams lasted for about a month. For the senior exams, some of us (like me) had physics, chemistry, biology, and advanced math.
Let's just say I found college here easier than secondary school.

Went to visit son and his family today. His live-in MiL (60+) caught a confirmed case of the Rona, had a bad week but fully recovered. Then DiL caught it and recovered in a not so nice week. Then son caught it and has recovered as well. The two youngsters (7 & 11) still have no symptoms.
They have become skeptics!

So amazingly incompetent that when our mom passed while living in Florida. She wanted to be buried next to dad in Indiana.
They lost her for two days.
Now, she had loved to fly so my sisters and I just figured she was making a side trip.
The funeral home however, was not amused. I believe lawsuits and homicides were proposed.

The second wave was no worse than a flu season and it looks like there was a bigger increase in non-covid deaths from the lockdown than the China virus deaths.
Now, with the third wave we are at a death rate about normal, but it only looks bad if you distort the curves.
Let me say that again - current deaths are at a normal rate, even with a third wave. This is complicated to explain, and I started doing my own graphs and write-up but it felt too much like work.
Of course, the CDC claims that the deaths are under-reported (in spite of 20% medicare bonus.) With this logic, the lockdowns can only end when we achieve immortality.

Loud as hell Diesel, I drove the delivery side of the trip while wearing the electronic earmuffs I use on the shooting range. Quite helpful, those!
But, it had only 74k miles on it, runs like a champ, but it's a former Pennsylvania based unit from a small community transit service.
The miles are low, but oh man, the wear, tear and corrosion are really chewing this thing up.
So, the boss retired it, and sold it to an Animal Rescue group, who are going to strip all the passenger seats out of it, and set it up with adjustable racks for different sized cages.
Rode back with a co-worker, driving a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica, loaded with everything they optioned that year.
Suffice to say, the ride back was a wee bit quieter and more comfortable than the ride out.
9 hr. day, and the boss picked up the tab for lunch.
But drivers on any part of I-10, from Jacksonville, FL to Los Angeles, California, are still stupid in ways only lemmings can truly appreciate.
And yes, if they built an off ramp with a lemming jump at the end, there would be a line of traffic stretching back for miles, vying to squeeze one in front of the other, to get into THAT lane!

You look at the pictures of the prototype, and there is a distinct lack of cargo space, which renders it kind of useless for the jobs for which it was envisioned.

Here's the thing about Dominion's voting systems products.
They are not pervasively connected to the internet, but the system does use a USB Modem/Wifi device to upload results to a central server, per Dominions Demonstration videos.
So perhaps team Powell got one of the USB modem devices and were able to obtain an IP and did a path trace (trace route) on the IP and it resolved to a German gateway, maybe that's where the German/foreign connection comes in?
Who knows what's what but what we do know this election is crookeder than all get out.

Those truck ramps, if they end in a drop-off, are usually "paved" with deep loose gravel, and a truck that enters the ramp becomes planted in the gravel very quickly. An abrupt stop, but non-fatal. I have seen this on truck ramps in B.C., which has plenty of steep mountain roads.

I don't think that movie was made just to condition people for the WuFlu. I think any WuFlu was going to do - this one or the next one. Something deep down in the id or ego or whatever you call it for a whole shit pot of people wanted a disaster. Any pissy Chinese Virus would be acceptable. Society is ending because a large portion of the public wants it to end. Needs it to, I guess. I don't fully understand all the intricacies as to why - but I can see it from a macro scale.
Before the typical answer gets thrown up - "because people turned from religion" - I'm positive that is only a partial answer. People turned from religion because something in religion - as it was presented - was found to be lacking. Anything that can't sustain simply won't.
Maybe it's as simple as we have too much free time. And maybe that's not sustainable. I dunno'. But it feels like a partial epiphany.

Mr. Bassman and I are mulling over a crazy scheme to move to a free state. We think Colorado is going the way of California.
On the one hand, we love our community, church family, friends, neighbors, and the climate.
On the other hand, we are getting older and the proposed relocation puts us closer to a bunch of young relatives, several with nursing experience and/or home maintenance skills. Plus, the medical care in the new location is much better. Our current local hospital is sub-par.

At approximately 11:30 pm on Friday November 27th @rightnowrick and I arrived to the sight of the #utahmonolith. All that was left in its place was a message written in the dirt that said "bye bitch" with a fresh pee stain right next to it. Someone had just stolen the statue, and we were the first to arrive at the scene. At about 10:45pm roughly 4 miles into Lockhart Basin we passed a truck that was hauling a large object strapped down In the bed with the hatch open. I thought for a second that it was the monolith but after driving 8 hours to get here we ignored it and convinced ourselves they were hauling off-road vehicles. We continued 30 minutes down the bumpy dirt road and arrived at 11:11 pm to the pinpoint I selected for us to start hiking from. Unsurprisingly there were other campers in the area that all seemed to be asleep. Right before leaving the car we heard voices in the distance, they were coming from the trucks we had just passed. We didn't acknowledge them and continued minding our own business. Our short hike under the moonlight was easy to navigate by just using google maps. We arrived to the location to see nothing but the foul markings left and we realized we must have been the first people to see it removed. We made the best of the situation and created a more fitting exit for this otherworldly piece of artwork. Our rendition of the monolith returning back to space. Sadly some rando's now posses it instead of our alien friends. On our way out we discovered fresh tire tracks that were made by a dolly, clearly left by someone not to long before us. When we got back to the car we drove back the way we came from and noticed the trucks where the noise was coming from were all gone. We figured it was the rest of the posse of monolith thieves exiting later than the first truck. Transporting the monolith without a posse in the dark had to have been a group effort. Not to mention it was 20 degrees Fahrenheit. We wanted to be the first to report this so we drove 2 hours back to service to get a post out. @rightnowrick has the full story

That vanished as well.
Some time later, an artist and some of his cronies from The Blue Moon Tavern, in the U District claimed they were responsible.
I suspect this is a different monolith and different pranksters.

I don't think either he, or the story, is crazy. IIRC, the foreign press reported a firefight at the server site. So we know that something military did happen. Gen McInerny, evidently, did verify today what is being reported in the story you cited.
For those who haven't read the Story, the Gen is saying that special forces raided a computer site run by the CIA. Five military troops, and one CIA civilian security person were killed in the raid. Analysis of the captured computers showed both China, Russia, and Iran attempted to influence the election.

Basically, I was trying to get at the idea that people can file suit even years or decades after passage of a law if they are harmed by it. In this instance, the election created harm for lots of people (candidates, voters, etc) because the Constitution was not followed. It does not matter that the law is more than one year old (barely) because the injury happened on Nov 3. Is that more correct?

No, what you've said may be correct depending on the specifics, it's completely irrelevant. Look up something called the "legislative acquiescence doctrine". Because the PA Legislature had the opportunity (2019 action) to rewrite the law and undo whatever was done, and it didn't, it acquiesced in the change. Because that is part of Pennsylvania state law, SCOTUS cannot undo it anymore than SCOTUS could undo it if the agent of the 2019 change had actively been the Legislature. Thus, there's no federal Constitutional issue in that regard. It's not SOL, it's a question of whether it has since become state legislation.

The old ways are the best ways. For such treason against the Constitution and The People, those guilty need to hanged, drawn and quartered. Sell the execution rights to Pay-Per-View, 50/50 split with the Government (that money alone will pay off the national debt).
Unless the penalties for vote fraud are made drastically more severe, and don't give me that 'I accidentally voted in two places because I have two homes in different states' excuse, we will simply have more vote fraud. And they'll get better at it so that catching it will be much more difficult. This time around, Sloe Joe was so far behind they made absurdly huge and statistically impossible vote swings to get that bastard across the finish line. As of now, the risk/reward when it comes to vote fraud is all reward and very little, if even minimal, risk.

the law and undo whatever was done, and it didn't, it acquiesced in the
change. Because that is part of Pennsylvania state law, SCOTUS cannot
undo it anymore than SCOTUS could undo it if the agent of the 2019
change had actively been the Legislature. Thus, there's no federal
Constitutional issue in that regard. It's not SOL, it's a question of
whether it has since become state legislation.
What you are saying is that if a Governor issues a decree, and declares it a law, and the Legislature ignores his obviously unconstitutional declaration, that their failure to "repeal" it makes the governor's declaration an actual law.
That is not how this works, that is not how any of this works. You are just wrong.

Someone asked above about why would he lie? and I don't think he is. I do suspect that the german server stuff is disinformation.
He said it vague enough and he exaggerated elsewhere enough that I can believe that he believe it, even if he does not have proof because it was told to him without him seeing and knowing direct evidence.
The people who would do such a disinformation ply are sophisticated enough to do it indirectly. He would be hearing it from people he trusted, and maybe they heard if from people they trusted, etc. The bad information is planted deep enough, and often enough, that it trickles to the top and is repeated with authority.
For example. In The Plot Against the President, they claim that Flynn was fired because Pence's Chief of Staff convinced Pence that he was a risk. So three levels or more (CoS - Pence - Trump) so that when Trump heard it he trusted it. (only briefly from what I understand)
In this case, say some military investigation unit has to raid and seize a server because one of their low level grunts has something sketchy on it (porn or diversion of funds, .. anything.) they take that story which has enough truth to it that it is confirmable, and they rewrite it. It will come with refutations, but that is expected. You can do this 5 levels below McInerney and feed it up to him.
Anyway, just my suspicion.
I do like how the interview ended with them all calling for Biden to concede. (that is what I said he should do on the 6th or so on the ONT.)

I'm not saying it's a winning argument -- we're in "no controlling precedent" land. But it certainly is what we called back in college debate an "on point" argument.

Legislative acquiesence has more to do with the legislature acceding to a *judicial interpretation* rather than an executive decree.
In PA, if I understand correctly, the Court's "fixes" (early 2020) were after Act 77 was passed (2019), so I don't see how this logic would apply in the first place.
The main argument I can give for the PA Supreme decision is that (some of?) the Plaintiffs could have raised the issue with the Primary Election of 2020. At the very least, then (regardless of any foregoing constitutionality decision) the results of *this* election should stand as the Plaintiffs did not raise the issue "in time" at their first opportunity. Not the best logic perhaps, but at least palpable. [I think Trump was unopposed in PA primary, but he's not a party to this suit in any case]

I do not think that is true. I can think of at least three laws (and one state constitutional issue in Montana) that was reviewed by SCOTUS. Just because the PA Supreme Court says something is barred does not mean it is... particularly if federal elections are implicated.

You are missing the point and the point you are not missing is incorrect. What I can't determine is whether you are being histrionic because of a chemical imbalance or because snark and shit like that can, if done right, be a lot of fun for everyone.
IF according to the PA constitution, it is perfectly permissible to make changes by fiat subject to being challenged within a year (and this kind of a state statute of limitations is utterly commonplace from sea to shining sea), then it's not a statute of limitations, per se, it's simply that you can't challenge the law as being improperly enacted because after one year, the law has an exception that makes it properly enacted. You can still challenge the actual effect of the law but you can't challenge the manner of the enactment of the law. It's not legislative acquiescence per se, but that kind of bend-over-backwards backfill reasoning.
So if SCOPA says that the PA Constitution permits this as a viable way of legislating, then SCOTUS has something to address.

Let me give you a pithier and more accurate interpretation of the PA supreme court actions. The Democrats are in the majority on the court. They don't care what the PA Constitution says, because they are hacks. They rule in what ever arbitrary and capricious fashion they choose, while citing utterly dubious legal standards for doing so. They have a predetermined legal conclusion they want to reach and do what ever is necessary to reach that conclusion, much like the FL supreme court did in Bush v Gore.

Now, (this is my field) it is possible to air gap a data stream, or even a custom simplex transmission channel, but that would be work and from what I see of these companies they are allergic. You could opto-couple (not with a one chip solution, but with a laser transmission that does an asynchronous data stream across an air gap. Or even have a simple display of tabulations and a camera reading the display. That would be harder, but also have advantages. They have done none of this. They connected all the servers to the internet. Nothing is air gapped. So I think Barns is talking though his hat. This makes me think that maybe there is a server in Germany,....

The US Constitution supersedes the State Constitution.
You cannot legislate away a Civil Right by State Law (unless of course there is a virus or something).
Fact is that the common conception of US Civil Rights and our Freedoms is being destroyed by legalese. The idea that a State Legislature can somehow decide WHEN something can be 'challenged', especially when you can't challenge it until there is some actual 'damage' so you actually have 'standing' to sue?
Pretty much insane.

Law by fiat violates the requirement in the U.S. Constitution of a representative form of Government in states, so there certainly is an avenue of appeal to the SCOTUS. Governments by Royal Decrees are not allowed.

As far as I know the PA Constitution does not say it is A-OK to revise constitutional language via simple legislation (just as the US Constitution does not allow changes via simple majority legislation). That may be the state rule for challenging simple legislation but they cannot impose that on Constitutional language. But wouldn't the Dems love it if they could do away with the 1st or 2nd amendment by just passing legislation?

I think it is more complicated. There is an official count, and there is a data feed for the news services. (My guess is that SOS's get kickback to provide the data to a company and then it is sold to news services. It is probably overseas to cover for the bribery.)
This is not the official count though. As far as I can tell, the official count is not done overseas. BUT, it is all connected. How the hell do you have an unofficial count and an official count coming off the same server if they are not connected. Hack one, and you hack them all.

A Chicago man is facing felony theft charges after police allegedly found him hauling $14,263 worth of stolen sewer lids in the back of his pickup truck Thanksgiving morning on the West Side.
Lashawn Powell, 52, admitted that his friend pays him to collect the sewer lids from city streets so he can sell them to scrapyards.
Cops responded to a call of a suspicious vehicle carrying stolen sewer lids in the Garfield Park neighborhood around 4:55 a.m. Thursday. It wasn't long before they spotted Powell allegedly driving around with 31 manhole covers in his truck bed.
Sewer lids weigh about 249 pounds each, so 31 lids would weigh about 7,700 pounds. The city values them at $460 each, prosecutors said during Powell's bond court hearing Friday.

There has to be a bigger plan here or why would anyone sign on to it? Specifically the new Secretary of Defense. That guy has to know taking a promotion from Trump after the election (was "called") is a career ender and maybe worse given the crowd that intends to follow Biden's quasi-animated corpse into the White House. Unless he knows enough to know it's not.
How many folks are screaming about Trump's lawyers lolligagging with the electoral college standing in the path? What if the court cases are of secondary importance to getting the information out? I mean, obviously it would be for the best if there were sufficient court and legislative victories to get the necessary electors, in terms of the process proceeding n a way we're all used to. But you would feel less pressure to hurry if that wasn't actually a necessary part of the plan.
