The statement Wednesday night asserting that the former vice president was a willing and eager participant in a family scheme to make millions of dollars by partnering with a shady Chinese Communist firm is a singular event in a presidential race already overflowing with drama and intrigue. The dynamite assertion, believable because it aligns with earlier information we know to be true, came in a statement by Tony Bobulinski, who describes himself as a former partner of Hunter Biden, Joe Biden and Joe’s brother Jim in the China scheme. Bobulinski unloads his bill of accusations in blunt but precise language and detail. He confirms that he was one of the recipients of the May 13, 2017, email published by The Post eight days ago. That email, from another partner in the group, laid out cash and equity positions and mysteriously included a 10 percent set-aside for "the big guy." Sources have said the "big guy" was Joe Biden. In a matter-of-fact manner, Bobulinski states that the "email is genuine" and that the former vice president and the man leading in the 2020 race is indeed "the big guy."The statement also makes clear that he's no Russian Asset. As a friend summarizes: "He's a Democrat. Only donated to Democrats. Well respected Naval career. He's basically unimpeachable as a witness."
The below texts have been released, most likely from Bobulinski, who seems to be a cooperating witness with the government. (How else to explain this sudden forthcomingnesss?) In the texts, Bobulinski is warned by another Hunter Biden business partner to not mention their contacts with Joe Biden, except "face to face" -- meaning, I take it, only mention that Joe Biden will do favors for their clients in a way that cannot be recorded or intercepted by law enforcement. Don't mention The Don in anything that can be subpeonaed, they mean.

Well... I think that, for the most part, the early voters were the die hard Biden fans.
The name of the game at this point is getting out Trump and Trump curious voters, while dissuading Biden and Biden curious voters.

People who vote early are partisans typically and not your average swing voter. There is also a partisan bias in that Dems like to early vote while Republicans prefer to wait until late or election day to vote. Never formally studied true vote by mail systems nor had experience turning out folks by mail so I have no idea about voting patterns in those states.
Absentee voting is a bit different this year and might be more associated with age than youth due to covid. But, I would expect that it would still be more likely to be partisans than not.
This news is hitting when average people start paying attention to the election that are not hard core partisan voters and around the last debate.

They really had no choice. I've said for a while that Obama fucked the party over. His policies caused a backlash that gutted the Dems of their rising talent. They really had no choice. I've said for a while that Obama fucked the party over. His policies caused a backlash that gutted the Dems of their rising talent. Mid-level politicians in Congress and state governments who would be positioned to take charge of the party today instead were voted out over Obamacare. This left the Old Guard in safe blue seats, and the activists.

I still think an actual moderate could have won the Democratic primary this year, but Biden was the only "moderate" of any name recognition and he sucked the oxygen out of the space/lane.
Hell, Buttigieg gained momentum specifically because he was presented as a moderate, but it wasn't enough to overcome Biden's strengths.
A moderate who didn't have massive corruption problems like the Montana former governor or someone could have saved the Democratic Party from itself.

There seemed to be fewer of the "NY Post" than normally at the convenience store this morning. I hope that it saves their readership, since just yesterday it looked like it was a physically smaller paper than it had been-perhaps to save on printing costs. Better to disband it. Empower state troopers to investigate interstate crime by statute.
Use saved budget to refund expenses on cases to states that successfully prosecute - i.e. funds not paid out till appeals exhausted and no funds disbursed for any case that the defendant wins or which ends with any kind of nolo plea. This hinders malicious prosecution since DAs are playing with their own budgets and shortens the time and money wasting in making plea deals for the same reason.

Nope. Hillary is a known quantity, and there's no way that she'd win. Plus, all the early votes were for Joe, and trying to shift them to Hillary would tear the country apart.

I was thinking about this recently and it caused me to ponder.... Who was the last democrat I voted for? Yes I did vote for a democrat sometimes. Mostly at local level if it was someone I knew and could trust to be not insane or stupid.
The last major office candidate I voted for who was democrat was Evan Bayh for governor. I didn't vote for him for Senate and wouldn't ever vote for him again but he did a pretty good job as governor.
He was true centrist and might have saved the dems party from themselves if they would give him a chance. They won't because he isn't far left-wing loony enough. unfortunately he fucked himself with his vote for Oblabo care.

I misunderstood a comment that JackStraw made about this last night. He, and others, stressed that Biden should be pursued on the money laundering and corruption, rather than the porn. (I thought he was talking about prosecution). In any event, I have come to agree that Trump needs to stay on the attack as it pertains to the corruption and leave the extraneous issues of drugs and porn to the side. I think attacking Hunter's addictions will garner sympathy in some quarters. I don't think it will draw votes for Biden, but it could lose Trump some votes with the suburban Karens.

None of them did this because their donors insisted open borders, so even Ted Cruz and Scott Walker utterly caved on immigration.
The Democrat candidates are pushed to be more radical by their own supporters, led by the MSM. I think Joe started telling the "my wife and baby daughter were killed by a drunk driver" back in the early 80's, when MADD was getting going, and politicians were all trying to jump on the anti-drunk driving bandwagon.
The truck driver who was involved in the accident was a good guy. He was not a drinker. He was just a solid, hard-working guy who had a bunch of kids and was devoted to his family. His daughter said that the accident changed him, because he had young kids himself at the time, and he couldn't help thinking of them when he saw the Biden kids in the car.
BTW, Mrs. Biden caused the accident when she ran a stop sign at an intersection. The truck driver tried to avoid her, he swerved so sharply that he ended up rolling his own vehicle and injuring himself. He still got out and rendered first aid to the Bidens, and waited on the scene for the cops and ambulance.
The truck driver's daughter went public a few times, criticizing Joe Biden for lying about her father. She says that Biden called her once and apologized for lying. Of course, after that call he kept on telling the lies. (The truck driver died years ago).

I have come to the conclusion that every Democrat has a grift. The only limitation on the size of the grift is the level of power attained in office. The Clintons could amass a fortune in "donations" from all over the world through their foundation because Bill had been President and Hillary subsequently served in powerful positions. Biden couldn't go the foundation route because he wasn't particularly influential and there was no family successor waiting in the wings to keep the grift going. So, he got in bed with corrupt corporations and governments and brought the family in.
My greatest faith in Trump is that all of the grifts will be laid bare soon.

There is a "non-profit" called the Biden Breast Health Initiative, Inc., and another called the Biden Cancer Initiative, Inc. Both involve Jill and Joe and were opened right after Joe left the VP slot. They are now closed.
There is a Biden Real Estate Holding Company, LLC, which I don't yet know much about.

Pretty sure the Lich Queen has a plan for Harris. We'll have to elect Biden and Harris to see what's in the plan, but after Madam Speaker becomes President Pelosi, she doesn't appoint the Chappaqua Horror...she appoints her idiot nephew, and then retires (graciously, natch) in 2024 after one term.
