No Big Deal, But the Pelosis Have Invested As Much as $1 Million in Crowdstrike, the Democrat-Connected Cybersecurity Firm That Was a Co-Star in the Russia Colluision Hoax Production

Not even hiding it.

The cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike rose to global prominence in mid-June 2016 when it publicly accused Russia of hacking the Democratic National Committee and stealing its data. The previously unknown company's explosive allegation set off a seismic chain of events that engulfs U.S. national politics to this day. The Hillary Clinton campaign seized on CrowdStrike's claim by accusing Russia of meddling in the election to help Donald Trump. U.S. intelligence officials would soon also endorse CrowdStrike's allegation and pursue what amounted to a multi-year, all-consuming investigation of Russian interference and Trump's potential complicity.

With the next presidential election now in its final weeks, the Democrats' national leader, Nancy Pelosi, is seizing a different opportunity with the publicly traded firm. Recent financial disclosure filings show that the House speaker and her husband, Paul Pelosi, have invested up to $1 million in CrowdStrike Holdings. The Pelosis purchased the stock at a share price of $129.25 on Sept. 3. At the time of this article's publication, the price has risen to $142.97.

65 I'm sorry, but I'm not seeing what the big deal is about this.

I can see the problem with putting money into a company that did what Crowdstrike does while it is still private, or if they really needed seed money or financing and Pelosi got them to do XYZ to get the $$, but this company has been public for several months, and has almost tripled in price from its lows.

Putting $1mm into the company at this point is simply an investment.

The fact that there are not many companies in this space, and this company has done well, just makes this a good investment, and not a quid pro quo for anything.

80 Crowdstrike founder and previous owner Dmitri Alperovitch was the one who ran his dicksucker about Russians and the DNC server. He left CS in February.

Still have never seen a scrap of evidence: no logs, no pcaps, no files, no malware alerts, nothing that shows any "hack" even happened.

The DNC refused to allow any analysis of their server that could have proved an actual hack occurred because of course.

Seems Nancy may have paid Dmitri to make a false allegation about Russian hacking by investing in Crowdstrike.

81 32 Tom,
Effectively Trump has gotten burned regarding the Nat Sec.. DOJ, and Foreign Policy areas.

He was set up for impeachment by all of these, they have successfully "resisted" him,and Mitch and his cohort have prevented him from putting recess appointments in to correct it or his own choices for appointees.

If you look though, that is where the grift is coming from for both Republicans and Democrats. They want normalized trading with China, they want to coverup massive surveillance, they want endless wars, and meddling in other countries, and they need the DOJ compliant to do it. Those are the air supply of the DC establishment along with taxes. Note that the Dems rolled over for the Republican tax bill because the wealthy donors and corporate donors wanted it by and large.

They could not do much to oppose on tariffs and trade because Trump held the constitutional high ground by being able to leave NAFTA and institute tariffs based on prior delegated power via statute. And they did not care in reform of the VA and some other projects.

Immigration is a stalemate but one favoring Trump with the wall construction over time and the Covid crisis gumming up cheap labor supply.

105 And let us not forget that the ENTIRE basis of the "Russians hacked the DNC" claim was that the Russkies had also hacked the Ukrainian military and the DNC's server supposedly had residual data on it that was similar to that on the Ukrainian military server.

Crowdstrike had to withdraw the claim about the Ukrainian military hack back in 2017.

There is NO evidence that the DNC was ever hacked by anyone. It's all a lie, just like the entire Russian Collusion hoax.

And the Russian Collusion Hoax was implemented to distract from:

1. Hillary's Shitter Server being accessed by every foreign government on the planet, including Yuge amounts of classified data; and,

2. The Clinton Foundation receiving $140,000,000 in "donations" from Russian companies involved in The Skolkovo Project while Hillary was SoS.

The Skolkovo Project was a Russian intel op run by their former Director of Foreign Intelligence Service, Vyacheslav Trubnikov, which was designed to steal Western technology. That project led directly to a hypersonic anti-ship missile that is very dangerous to the US Navy.

The Clintons are traitors to the United States in the truest sense of the word.

Combine that with all of the questions about what Crowdstrike did during the Hillary email and Russia scandals, and she should have avoided it like the plague with a bad case of covid. As it is, it's another slap in the face akin to getting her hair done, maskless, while simultaneously lecturing everyone else about why the can't. Posted by: Christopher R Taylor

He was a pretty smart and articulate guy. He spent a lot of time as a player, figuring out the mental part of the game. He made the most out of being 5 ft 7 inches tall.

He was always fun to listen to when he was interviewed by either Joe Nuxhall (after the game) or any time. He always had something to say.

He liked to analyze other players, because other guys had a lot of talent, but they did not always think up the best approach to the game.

Most of the time, a really nice guy. He was sometimes called a "clubhouse" lawyer in Houston (before coming to Cincy), but when he was feeling his oats, Sparky just walked with him to the outfield before the game, and they would talk, talk, talk. Sparky was quite the bull-shi**er, and could talk-talk with anybody.
Usually, Joe would come back laughing about arguing with Sparky.

177 73 I would like a breakdown of the net worth of every congress critter's net worth the day they were first elected and now. I think a running total would be highly informative, including that of their spouses, siblings, and children.
Posted by: iandeal at October 12, 2020 04:27 PM (aA66N)

Since Joe Biden was elected, without any other source of income, he is now worth tens of millions of dollars.

Since Donald Trump was elected, his many earned sources of income have been decimated, with new projects being stopped by the Trump Corporation, he has lost billions. With a "B".

Biden made millions through being elected. Trump has not only lost billions after being elected, but gives his entire salary to charity.

I would not take a bet that a lot of PDT "rages" come from frustration that he sees an optimal policies for the country but the Uniparty will positively resist actively because it threatens their current grifting ways of selling out the country to foreign interests, making their families rich off directly and indirectly from government contracts, and profiting from insider trading.

As you said, he had to use his personal emissary to make peace because the State Dept apparatchiks would refuse to consider such a thing as desirable either the pro-Iranians or the grifters counting on future arms deals, government contracts, etc.

There are two different issues here:

1. The supposed "DNC" hack was the one Crowdstrike was involved in faking.

2. Hillary's Chappaqua Bathroom Server is well-known to have been a conduit through which the entire world obtained all of the classified information that Hillary sent through that unsecured server. In fact, the ChiComs had a bug planted on her system that cc'd every e-mail she sent to them in real time. Crowdstrike was not involved in this issue.

225 What I find interesting about this more than the money involved is that it is likely a bad investment. Crowdstrike has been on an absolute tear since the COVID dip back early in the year. It's floating around its 52-week highs and the 12-month chart has been an almost uninterrupted surge. It has a $32b market cap on about $180m in revenues. It has no dividend and an undefined PE ratio (e.g., it breaks even or loses money most quarters).

It's a tech unicorn, sure, but even as a unicorn it doesn't make much sense. Nothing about this stock makes sense. And they're politically connected, and with the deepest parts of the deep state.

If Pelosi is pouring her own money into this - especially now when the needle is pegged over near the "ludicrous" part of the gauge - she's buying something that isn't stock. Maybe she's buying protection for a future event, or maybe she's paying off for former favors or something else.

But this is probably not an investment in any traditional sense.

As far as I know, they've never found a Ptolemaic tomb. Which is strange. But when they do, I wouldn't be surprised if they find all sorts of flippers and Hapsburg chins. Tutankhamun had several health problems likely due to inbreeding.

Oh, I've had that conversation in Macedonia.

Alexander the Great was a Greek Macedonian.

Alexander was a Slav Macedonian.

Macedonian is just a dialect of Bulgarian and Alexander was Bulgarian.

I wasn't there long enough to learn of any other claims to Macedonian, but I'm sure there are more. There are today a Macedonian province of Greece and a nation called North Macedonia (used to be the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia),

I expect, like most things Balkan, they'll sort it out in another 2,000 years.

Mythmaking and such. Lots of countries and groups do it. Africans in Africa have their own origin stories according to their respective ethnic groups, American Africans which have sort of become their own relatively new ethnic group don't, so we get to watch the mythmaking process in real time.

I remember one incident reported at the time, in which the State Dep't let the MSM know that they were Furious with Kushner, because he made a trip to the Kingdom to talk with the Crown Prince, but rather than stay in the US Embassy, he stayed in one of Prince Salman's palaces, at Prince Salman's request. The Embassy people were furious, said he was ignoring all security protocols, that he would be prey to foreign intelligence services, that he was an amateur who didn't know what he was doing.

Quite obviously, he knew exactly what he was doing - he was blocking the State Dep't from bugging his rooms, reading his emails, and doing everything they could to foul up the negotiations he was conducting. No wonder they were so pissed about it.

I have seen a lot of people even here complain about Jared Kushner, and I don't think he's perfect, but remember - he is one of the ONLY people in DC who is actually loyal to Donald Trump, and not to the Deep State.

290 I really have not been able to follow why Africans want to claim Egyptians and then try to stand on moral high ground as well.

Well, I mean, go to the Congo then visit Egypt. Almost none of Africa has any lasting heritage or history to look back on with pride of that sort. There's no Senegalese Sphinx, there's no Kenyan Pyramid. There is no Karnak built by the Somalis. Egypt is awesome, and that's something to admire.

I think it hurts the egos of some to see that and not have anything of that sort to claim of their own.

It was a different kind of culture, with most Africans living in lush, hot, plenty and feeling no need to conquer their surroundings, build, or change things. They could take it easy and just live, so they did.

If I were an Egyptian, I'd be kind of embarrassed with how my people three thousand years ago were so great but now....

323 As far as I know, they've never found a Ptolemaic tomb. Which is strange. But when they do, I wouldn't be surprised if they find all sorts of flippers and Hapsburg chins. Tutankhamun had several health problems likely due to inbreeding.
Posted by: sniffybigtoe at October 12, 2020 04:55 PM (xfb67)

One possible explanation for their absence is that the Ptolemaic tombs could have been in Alexandria, their capital, and specifically they may have been in the part of Alexandria that slid off into the Mediterranean in the great earthquake that destroyed the Pharos lighthouse.

You are correct.
Trump joked at a rally that Russia should send the emails since the FBi was claiming they could not find any.

He did not ask them to hack, but the Left does claim that he did (based on that thin reed of a joke, after the fact, at a rally)

By going deeper I mean that China and Russia had direct access to all her emails via a virus which sent all emails into their hands when sent.

"How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries. Improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live."

While there's some appeal to the argument, what happened to Greece? And why the lack of correlation with Iran? The economic practices of the Ottoman Empire are kind of interesting(in a bad way) and may have permanently altered a lot of the behavior in the region to be dysfunctional.

Yeah when she smiles, it seems genuine, like she's really happy and glad to see you personally. That's not common in actors. Like Tom Cruise's carefully practiced smile, that switches on and off like a mask. Its obviously fake.

Gal Gadot comes across as a sweetheart in Wonder Woman, and that takes a kind of weak script and lifts it to something enjoyable.

This line has always puzzled me. Trump has spurred onshoring and a new industrial boom, with hugely increased industrial employment. It isn't enough yet, but for the first time in around 30 years, the charts are finally moving the right direction.

Yet Trump "turned his back" the industrial middle class. Somehow.
