The Morning Report - 9/14/20

pluscacha.jpg

Good morning, kids. Monday and the lead story is of course Saturday night's cold-blooded attempted assassination of two LAPD officers as they sat in their patrol car in Compton (which I believe is Maxine "Mikvah" Waters little fiefdom) by some still-at-large subhuman animal. The latest report is that the officers are out of surgery and are expected to live. Considering they were both shot in the head, going forward, every second of every day of the rest of their lives will be physically and emotionally painful. Prayers for them and their loved ones, and the rest of us, really.

Without getting distracted by the problematic nature of law enforcement and policing in this country, especially over the last 10-20 years (CBD covered this over the weekend and quite frequently on this blog), the fact remains that in what is supposed to be a civil society where the rule of a just and stable law is generally respected by the citizenry, mostly and hopefully because a sense of morality and ethics are drilled into us from an early age, police officers are who enforce that code when individuals disregard the latter. They are the physical embodiment of that code and serve as both a reminder of the consequences of disregarding it but more crucially the security that we can go about our lives unmolested in our own individual "pursuit of happiness."

But over the past decade or so, and especially over the past four, we have had an erosion of trust in law enforcement because of the creeping corruption from the top down of those who make our laws, those who sit in judgment and those who are there to enforce them. If you want to understand how two cops sitting in a patrol car can get ambushed like that, look no further than the actions of the Democrat-Media Complex and Barack Obama himself, because this fish well and truly stinks from the head. Then again, what's old is new again.

Patrolmen Waverly Jones and Joseph Piagentini were shot and killed while on foot patrol in the Colonial Park Houses public housing complex, at 159th Street and Harlem River Drive. They were ambushed by members of the Black Liberation Army.

As the two patrolmen were returning to their cruiser at approximately 10:00 pm, three suspects snuck up behind them and opened fire. Patrolman Jones was struck in the back of the head and killed instantly. Patrolman Piagentini was shot 13 times and succumbed to his injuries en route to the hospital.

One of the suspects stole Patrolman Jones' weapon which was later recovered in San Francisco, California after several BLA members opened fire on a San Francisco, police officer.

Two of the suspects, along with five others, were also involved in the murder of Sergeant John Victor Young of the San Francisco Police Department on August 29th, 1971.

The three suspects were arrested and sentenced to 25 years to life. One of the suspects died in prison. One remains in prison, and the third was granted parole in March 2018.

The end of the watch for Jones and Piagentini was May 21st, 1971. It's almost 50 years later - FIFTY YEARS. Same shit, different decade. Only this time, the likes of Bill Ayers and Angela Davis aren't on the lam and outcasts; they're in our government, our legal system, our media, Wall Street, Main Street, our churches and temples (for sure our mosques), and most crucially our schools. The anti-American bilge they were spewing over 50 years ago is now taught as gospel truth from pre-school all the way up through post-grad. The Black Liberation Army is now Black Lives Matter. The only difference is Black Lives Matter is feted, celebrated and funded to the tune of nearly $2 billion, mostly by corporate America, an institution that BLM has openly sworn to dismantle. The other difference is that anyone who dare utter a criticism or highlight the fact that it is a revolutionary Marxist terrorist organization is openly shunned, blackballed (racist?) or worse.

Meanwhile, Angel-of-Death Cuomo and Bill DeBolshevik have not only strangled the world's fifth largest economy and arguably its most iconic city to death, now their cooking its corpse and having it with fava beans and a nice kee-ANN-tee.

For $5,000 from a drug lord who wanted revenge, Perry Bellamy set up the 1985 murder of Parole Officer Brian Rooney, 34, luring him to a park in South Jamaica -- where a drive-by hit squad killed him with five shots. Now Bellamy will hit New York City streets again as soon as Sept. 30.

"It's despicable and it's heartbreaking," Alan Reiter, 74, Rooney's ex-partner, told The Post. "I can't imagine his assigned parole officer wanting to even supervise him."

The Parole Board declined to share its reasoning for the release. Does it have any?

Last month, after all, it sprang Samuel Ayala, the ringleader of three men who beat, raped and fatally shot two mothers, in front of their kids, in a 1977 home invasion in Westchester. Several of the now-grown children, denied their right to testify before the board because of the pandemic, are demanding a new hearing.

Well this is what you get when you defund or otherwise abolish the police. Then again if the Democrats ever regain power, you can be sure that there will be police. Think Stormtroopers and other colorful characters who will be doing the law enforcement, mostly minus the law part. The Democrat-Media Complex and Party are either backing this violence and the insurrection and mayhem of the past three months or are otherwise gladly riding a rabid tiger in hopes of threatening the American public with worse if we refuse to dump Trump this November.

What we are witnessing is societal breakdown. With a constant drumbeat that demonizes police officers as Klansmen, Nazis and genocidal maniacs mass-murdering innocent blacks, it is indeed open season on law enforcement. And that means it is open season on us. Don't believe me, look at this bilge from the NAACP.

In a Twitter post on Saturday, the NAACP Greater Springfield president said that while the death or murder of a police officer is a terrible tragedy, it does not have the same implication as a black person being gunned down by police.

"There's no such thing as BLUE LIVES... Stop comparing your JOB with my LIFE... Your CAREER is a choice, my BLACKNESS isn't. #BlackLivesMatter #BlueLivesMatter," he tweeted.

"No one deserves to be unjustly murdered, police or citizens," he continued. "If you're expressing outrage over the shooting of two sheriff's deputies, but we're [sic] defending #KyleRittenhouse murdering two protesters in #Kenosha only days ago, you need to shut up and have a seat."

I have a feeling that we are heading towards Dirty Harry: Magnum Force and The Star Chamber territory where, one or more police officers go through the records of gang members and other assorted criminals who have flaunted and/or escaped justice and take care of business. Honestly, I'm at that point where I not only won't care, but I'll cheer it on.

G-d help us.

10 The "Chinese Virologist" story is a little confusing but it appears this woman was called in to work on containing the virus at the very earliest stages, after it leaked from the Wuhan lab into the general population. She is trying to make the case the Chinese government is responsible for hiding human-to-human transmission for a long time. Lots of lives might have been saved if we knew early on how disastrous this lab accident was going to become.

15 I often don't like Trump's scripted speechifying; I like his rallies better, where he just riffs. But his Flight 93 speech was a wonderful exception. Solemn, and still very meaningful. Trump celebrated the passengers and encouraged Americans to emulate their heroism.

--

So, let me get this straight. Two cops sitting in a car, just sitting there doing nothing, get shot in the head for no reason (other than of course, Democrat-sanctioned hatred). Rittenhouse gets chased down the street by a couple of thugs with weapons and defends himself, leading to their deaths. NAACP sees these two incidents as equal.

Logic. How does it work? They seem to have either 1) no clue or 2) they have a clue, but instead choose to foment and continue the blind hatred they carry in their souls. I'm going with #2.

and shine flash lights in people faces to try and start trouble.

They told 022 It was a art project. They went to any home and recorded
homes with addresses that had blue lives matter trump flags ect. I
personally saw them recording a little girl on a bike who was terrified
and tried to cover her face. We were ordered not to engage at all.

I am furious and outraged and sickened by this and makes me sick to my
stomach. The good men of mount greenwood came out and told them to
leave. One vehicle proudly said " we are Antifa and we are recording all
of you !"

A couple of the license plates were from Oregon...and a teacher from Chicago

Mount Greenwood is a neighborhood that a lot of cops live in. It's being targeted by Pantifa and BLM. Eventually those shitheads will push someone too far and get what they deserve. Which is what they want because they know the MFM will ignore what they do and only report the reaction.

65 Frank Reich and Colts execs just sent a powerful message about white privilege

Perhaps the most striking gesture came from Indianapolis Colts head coach Frank Reich, who kneeled during the playing of the anthem at Jacksonville's TIAA Bank Field, while to his left and right players locked arms.

Reich is a white man, and that alone brings privilege in this country.

After the game Reich told reporters, "We thought it was a unique way to express what needs to be done, where someone like myself, a white leader, would kneel, not out of defiance but out of humility...we can't leave things the way they are."

You're right they can't stay as they are. The NFL needs to fold and you need to be out of job.

I'm not yet persuaded that Tom Hanks is involved in some elaborate evasion of upcoming Epstein revelations. Possible? Sure: he's a Hollywood star, and Hollywood is a cesspit. But I don't think the "run to Greece" is the big deal I originally thought it might be, based on this bit of research. Anyone have evidence that would clarify that?

But I seem to recall that we were all somewhat subdued.

We were 10. I doubt any of us had political opinions back then. The girls thought JFK was good-looking, I guess; I don't know what the guys thought. But that someone famous could be *shot* -- for reals, in contrast to TV and movie violence -- that was disturbing.

He thinks that I should put on word out.

Anyway, yesterday afternoon I had two comments. The sign was from James 4:8 and it said "Draw neat to God and he will draw near to you. I don't know if it was somebody on a bike or riding-I think the former and I'm not even sure of the age of the male person. When they went past they shouted "Help me , Russia!. Help me!." and when they came back they shouted "Six months of corona and he finally said , "You can wear a mask if you want to. Great leadership!"

As Ra's al Ghul said in Batman Begins... "Training is nothing. Will is everything. The will to act." Every city dealing with looting and riots? All lack the will to act.

"Chief James Craig had no patience for BLM's 'untruthful' message, calling the group's local leaders 'misguided radicals.'"

How Detroit's Police Chief Saved His City from Black Lives Matter

Compared to the conflagrations BLM has incited in cities like Minneapolis, Portland, Seattle, New York, Chicago, and even Kenosha, Detroit Will Breathe has been an epic flop. Drawing mostly small crowds and desperate for media attention, DWB has been stifled from the get-go by Chief Craig's zero-tolerance approach to thugs and looters posing as demonstrators.

The first three nights after George Floyd's death, when radicals -- most from out of town and some armed with bricks and railroad spikes -- ignored a curfew and tried to turn the city into another Minneapolis, Detroit police pushed back hard, using tear gas and making over 140 arrests. That quieted things. A few days later, Detroit Will Breathe somehow finagled a meeting with Mayor Mike Duggan and Chief Craig to lay out their list of demands, like "demilitarizing the police" and making Detroit a sanctuary city.

Group organizer and Keeper of the Bullhorn Tristan Taylor felt cocky enough to brag to reporters that the meeting "was on our terms" because "[t]he movement is strong." But not strong enough to mau-mau Duggan and Craig, who nodded pleasantly and then lost their copies of the list.

Heh, that's where I'm at.

Think the old rumors have gotten more interest and discussion lately w/the Epstein arrest/death, Ghislayne arrest, and Q posts.

Given what douchebags Hanks, Teigen and so many others in Hollywood have been in pushing their politics on the rest of the country (such as meddling in state elections and legislation for years), I just don't really care about them being on the other side of partisan demonization.

Maybe if you guys hadn't been so intent on smearing half the country as near-Nazis for wanting stricter abortion laws or protecting girls' bathrooms/locker-rooms/sports I would be concerned about you being smeared now. Maybe if you had not made it your personal mission to destroy people like Kavanaugh. . .

Greece is a combination of bureaucracy and kleptocracy that has zero money in its coffers for a massive welfare state. And it got bigger when they became part of the EU, much to the chagrin of wealthier countries like Germany that footed the bill for their national indigence.

That said, I have to wonder how much money Hanks has to pay in income tax or if he got an under the table sweetheart deal because of the publicity.

Yeah. "Honorary".
To Hanks, his wife & two children. Seems the "conspiracy theorists" might be on to something.

OPA! Any idea what is the policy on extradition OF GREEK NATIONALS is?

https://bit.ly/2RrNVVz

"The President of Greece, Prokopis Pavlopoulos signed an honorary naturalization order allowing the actor to claim citizenship. Oh, ok, so this is simply an honorary thing, like getting the metaphorical keys to the city. I mean, he is not REALLY a citizen of Greece...right? WRONG! Under Greek law, honorary naturalization (citizenship) can be bestowed to a foreigner by the Current President and it is as legit as if someone was actually born there.

Ok, so back to Tom Hanks and his newly found Greek Citizenship. Now, not being a crazy, wacko, conspiracy theory believing, lunatic (did I get them all in there) I just found it interesting when I looked up extradition from Greece to the US and just happened to stumble on Greeklawdigest.gr

"What is the position regarding extradition requests involving Greek nationals?"
"As already mentioned, Greece in general does not permit the extradition of its nationals." REALLY! hmmm, who knew? OPA!"

Welp, the Democrat Propaganda Media is in full swing.

I was looking at an article on stocks which would be good to buy if Trump wins.

The whole thing was written to scare leftards with "scary" companies, and/or confirm and propagate Democrat lies.

For example, the first stock Lockheed Martin was one to buy because "Trump insulted the troops" and would need to buy his way back into the militaries good graces.

Nothing about the market, nothing about financials. Just a few paragraphs recounting the Democrat Lie.

The writer shoulda been fired, unless his job description includes Democrat propagandist.

So, this will be the new normal 24/7 until the elections over.

Lies about Trump and Us, his supporters, coming from any every media outlet.

Enjoy.

So Detroit is trying to come back from being a Third World country?

Posted by: Wolfus Aurelius at September 14, 2020 08:39 AM

Been ongoing for years now. Been a lot of investment and growth in downtown for at least a decade. Moved all sports teams downtown within a few blocks area of one another (Ford Field, Comerica Park and Little Caesar's Arena for Red Wings and Pistons). Lions and Pistons used to be in Auburn Hills. Basically built up an "entertainment district".

They have also built up the Lake Shore walk area where people regularly go for bike riding, walking, running, etc.

People like to joke about Detroit, the way it was 10+ years ago. But they have slowly been improving the city. I have lived in this area since I moved here in 1999 and it was pretty damn bad back then. I moved from Chicago -- where I was born and raised -- after college and back then Chicago was good and Detroit was a shithole. Things have relatively reversed. Detroit will never be a tourist destination like Chicago has been for decades, but shithole status has now been removed.

A *lot* of work still needs to be done of course. But it's no longer the Third World shithole people like to joke about. And this is coming from a native Chicagoan who previously delighted in rubbing it in people's faces here that "DE-TROIT SUCKS!"

Good morning, Horde

I really don't know where to begin, but I know that I want to thank all of you who have been praying for my son who came down with a sudden and critical illness last Wednesday. Your prayers absolutely made all the difference, and I am so happy to tell you that he is making great progress. He was taken off the ventilator yesterday and is already speaking. There is still a way to go, but we have reason to be hopeful and your continued prayers will speed him on that journey.

I owe a special thank you to bluebell, who is the one responsible for organizing the massive prayer army, both in and out of gray boxes. She is a treasure.
Since we already have a Poet Laureate in Muldoon, I feel it would be appropriate at this time to name Saint Bluebell of the Shiv the patron saint of the Horde.

Thank you all, again, from the bottom of my heart.

294 >>>Greece is a combination of bureaucracy and kleptocracy that has zero
money in its coffers for a massive welfare state. And it got bigger when
they became part of the EU, much to the chagrin of wealthier countries
like Germany that footed the bill for their national indigence.

==================
The joke goes this way:
A German couple drove into the Greek beach town, had breakfast and decided to stay for a few days. They reserved a hotel room and paid 500 Euros in advance before heading off to the beach for the day.

The hotel owner excitedly ran off to his food supplier and paid off a 500 Euro invoice that had been way past due, walking back happily to his now debt-free hotel.

The food supplier was relieved to get the money, and used it to to pay off the town hooker. He owed her the 500 Euros from the last few weeks, and she herself was excited to get paid because she owed the hotel for room rents, which she promptly paid.

The hotel owner now happily had 500 Euros back in his hot little hands and he was contemplating a spending spree when the German couple returned to the hotel with bad news. It seemed while at the beach they received an urgent call from home and the vacation was cancelled. Their work required them to return immediately. So, the hotel owner sadly handed back their 500 Euros, the Germans got back in their Mercedes, and off they roared, heading north.

But the visit from German couple left the town debt-free, and the hotel, the food supplier and the hooker immediately went back to their days, much better off.

295 The whole deescalation trope is garbage - the left uses it by triggering something in our subconscious that says these are normal people just having a bad day so if we can walk them back, all will be well. In fact we are dealing with creatures who have been inured to violence, psychologically co-opted by hate driven by false narratives and lacking any concept of consequence. It is escalation that is needed.

"As already mentioned, Greece in general does not permit the extradition of its nationals." REALLY! hmmm, who knew? OPA!"

Posted by: rickb223 at September 14, 2020 08:40 AM

Now that's interesting. How far will "honorary" citizenship extend in practice? A passport seems to me pretty much a declaration "this person is a citizen". Would that extend to preventing extradition in the event an internationally recognized celebrity was accused of pedophilia, especially in a case like "friends of Epstein"? It might place the Greek government in a bind. Or, the relevant decision makers might not give a damn for reasons of their own.

This could get very interesting.

323 As the wars went on in IRQ and AFG the ROE's became more restrictive and soldiers died as a result. That was because, as in most wars, experience taught us that in many situations you read the signs of an imminent attack, and respond with direct action before our side took as casualties. We became so good at it, that the attacks subsided, even the VBIED's. That's because we were flaming people clearly planting or prepping those attacks.

Political forces in those countries complained. That's because they were backing the enemy. Then the lawyers took over, and the ROE's were obfuscated courtesy of Obama-Biden. Predictably, the KIA and WIA demonstrably went up. Nobody tags Biden on this, BTW. Maybe we can take him down to Arlington and introduce him to some of my brothers...

Anyway, this is what law enforcement needs to partially do. They need to prepare for these types off attacks and change their general posture. There are nefarious forces out there who want them dead.

How's the cost of living and housing there and in the suburbs?

Posted by: Wolfus Aurelius at September 14, 2020 08:52 AM

I can only speak to my own experience here. Basically, the suburbs closer to Detroit (such as Sterling Heights), the housing is good, but cheaper than the same type of house in a farther suburb (such as Rochester Hills).

When I was looking at houses the last few years, I noticed that I could find some really nice (from my perspective) 2+ bedroom, 2+ bathroom ranch-style houses with basements in places like Sterling Heights and Troy for the price range in which I was looking (~$200,000).

But looking in the areas where I live now -- Rochester Hills, Shelby Township area -- (in a townhouse apartment) and the same type of houses are in the $225k-$250k price range.

Rochester Hills is about 20-minute drive north of downtown Detroit. I imagine it is the same south or West of Detroit as well. I used to live in apartment in Southgate, MI when I first moved here in 1999. Poorer part of the area, yet was still a nice area. I bought my first house in 2003 in Garden City/Westland area, which is about 10-15 minutes West of downtown Detroit. That house was $162,500 in that area. If I looked for the same exact place here in Rochester Hills, no doubt it would be $100k more.

So I think it's really like any other city. There are some good areas and some bad areas. I have a friend who lives in Royal Oak. When I first moved here, all my friends at work told me that was the place to go for young people to find the bars and nightlife in the area. There is also the Royal Oak Zoo there. Plenty to do. But my friend has stated over the past 10 years or so, it's gone downhill.

I have another friend who lived in pretty nice condo complex on the West side of the highway across from Comerica Park and Ford Field. We walked a few blocks to get to the games a few years back when we got a group package for a Bears-Lions game. When the plans started for the building of Little Caesar's Arena and the entertainment district just 2 blocks from there, he was able to sell his place for much more than it was worth just a few years prior.

I think I take the same attitude as William Jacobson, host of LI, on the matter of Durham. I don't have high hopes, but if he does come up with something it will be very nice. WJ has done a good job of examining why getting a prosecution together in matters such as this is so difficult and has to be done so carefully.

we get frustrated because doing a ridiculously sloppy job and throwing prosecutions together which are guaranteed to fall apart later is a Democrat specialty.

But even as a kid I knew something was awful wrong by the way adults were acting. My own parents were at work that day and both waved at the motorcade as it passed by. They were both shaken by what happened. The teachers at my elementary school were huddled up in small circles whispering, some crying. When our principal made the announcement that our President died, his voice cracked. So, yeah, it was terrible. I too was in grammar school, 5th grade. Everybody including my classmates seemed stunned. We didn't close the school -- in contrast to today, when they close the schools because someone saw what *might* have been a rabid squirrel in a lot 2 miles away.

Hitler's joooo hate surely kept him from being the first with nukes, which Satan surely reminds him constantly. As it was, it was still a major nazi priority.

That and other things like the mask mandate is not going away anytime soon. Flu season is coming up and I guarantee you that Governors will use that as an excuse to keep mask mandates in place or issue new ones.

Posted by: Mr. Scott (Formerly GWS) at September 14, 2020 08:56 AM

Yep. To everything you stated. I have been of this same opinion since sometime in April after the original re-open date of Easter went by the wayside. That is when it became clear to me that this was a political op, not a health crisis.

My opinion is that this will go on no matter who wins in November.

If Trump wins -- the Deep State keeps all this stuff going indefinitely to sow chaos for all of Trump's 2nd term

If Trump loses -- the Deep State now has control of everything and will use that control to first use taxpayer money to pay the Democrat Governors for their loyalty in destroying their state economies and jacking up death counts; and second, they will keep all the COVID-19 restrictions in place, because... they can. And they will justify it anyway they need to, just like they have been doing the past 6 months.

Deaths go down? Then focus on cases. Then make up some "second wave" bullshit. Then makeup some "long term health issues" for anyone to contracts it, even if they are asymptomatic. Keep masks and "social distancing" and limits on mass gatherings in place because "flu season" and because "COVID-19 is still with us, so better safe than sorry".

So masks and social distancing and limits on gatherings and no-fans sporting events I think are here to stay no matter who wins. If Trump loses, it will mean they can continue to get away with this shit without Trump beating them up over it every day. But even if he wins, they've been pushing out political op after political op since even before he was elected in 2016. I'm sure they have a long list of more ops they can roll out over the next 4 years as well.

415 Things I'm certain of:

There will be more attempts on both cops and non-POC lives. They want to force a crackdown by Trump. Trump shouldn't take the bait nor should any American. They are desperate for a Rittenhouse without the blatantly obvious self-defense.

They will ramp up the riots in October. Reinforce the message that this all goes away if you don't vote for Trump. Even giving the impression that going to the polls will he met with violence.

The game plan for election night is exactly as Podesta laid out. No conceding (as if that matters), immediate legal challenges everywhere, mass rioting, including threatening the lives of those doing any counts or recounts (a huge problem, as the large lens of the cancel culture on a lowly volunteer poll worker could be too much to bear) and mass calls for some rogue military element to dispatch Trump.

November is going to be a hellish month. Please prepare properly.

The Dems do more than embrace the terroists rhetorically, as do their propaganda outlets. Although I do expect Trump to win in November, this will not be resolved at the ballot box and they will reap what they have sown.

I do, too!!

The most interesting "debate" in 2008 was when Obama and McCain each did a long interview w/Rick Warren. Same questions -- more interesting and open-ended questions -- and Warren sat back and let them speak.

I think Rogan would make it interesting simply because he is not scripted and agenda-driven MSM, and he would probably take it into some weird directions out of curiosity.

There will be more attempts on both cops and non-POC lives. They want to force a crackdown by Trump. Trump shouldn't take the bait nor should any American. They are desperate for a Rittenhouse without the blatantly obvious self-defense.

(Agreed. It destroys the narrative that Mr. Trump is a dictator. And also it reinforces the fact that Mr. Trump acknowledges that the United States features a federal government, not a unitary government. As bad as cop shootings like what happened over the weekend are, they are local affairs, to be prosecuted and handled by state and local governments.)

(P.S. Why has Mr. Rittenhouse slipped from the headlines? Narrative clash?)

They will ramp up the riots in October. Reinforce the message that this all goes away if you don't vote for Trump. Even giving the impression that going to the polls will he met with violence.

(That's nothing compared to Nov 4. If Mr. Trump wins, the Left declares nuclear war on the United States and will destroy its cities. The fact that they RUN those cities will be an irony completely lost on them.)

1) I didn't know Hanks said that about America waging a 'race war' against Japan. Astonishing historical illiteracy, even for a Hollywood lib.

Posted by: mnw at September 14, 2020 09:11 AM

Extremely disappointing for Hanks, considering he likely had to do much research for his roles in movies like Forrest Gump, Saving Private Ryan, The Pacific (mini-series) and Director of Band of Brothers (mini-series).

You would think with how some actors get emotionally involved in their roles, that they would learn something or take something good away from them.

Look all that Gary Sinise has done after his role in Forrest Gump. If only more actors were like him.

450 If nothing else the Rogan angle is a great story.
Biden will never, never accept. And it will lead to all kinds of uncomfortable follow up stories for Biden..

While often Trump-critical, and full of "both sides need to.." BS Rogan's made no bones about trashing Biden for being mentally incompetent. Any follow up story on the proposal will highlight that.

My personal theory is that Rogan is more pro-Trump than he's willing to let on (given his relatively strong pro 2A stance and general libertarian leanings) and is letting his "modest proposal" do the talking for him so to speak.

That's absentee voting, you have to personally request a ballot.

Mail in voting is where they send out a ballot to every registered voter.

Posted by: Mr. Scott (Formerly GWS) at September 14, 2020 09:19 AM

They now have something in some places which seems to be a combination of the two. Mail-in absentee voting, if you will.

I think here in Michigan they have mailed out absentee ballot request forms to every registered voter in the state, whether you requested one or not.

Secretary of State: All Michigan voters will get absentee ballot applications at home

https://bit.ly/32t0PsE

Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson said Tuesday all of Michigan's 7.7 million registered voters will be mailed absentee ballot applications so they can take part in elections in August and November without the risk of in-person voting if they choose to do so.

They set that up back in MAY. 2 months after the lockdown started and 6 months before the election.

This was all planned. Otherwise, how would they know that the "pandemic" restrictions were going to last the next 6 months.

Posted by: Clyde Shelton at September 14, 2020 10:00 AM (Do5/p)

452 A major issue with police shootings is the number of shots fired.

Someone should ask a police union boss how many shots he'd fire to bag a deer. Enough to assure the result or an empty magazine.

If you want a history lesson, read about Fed Hampton from Wikipedia

"During the trial, the Chicago Police Department claimed that the Panthers were the first to fire shots. But a later investigation found that the Chicago police fired between ninety and ninety-nine shots, while the only Panthers shot was a bullet that hit the ceiling from Mark Clark's fallen shotgun."

99 shots to one. No wonder the cops paid $1.85 million to settle.
