In Toronto, Gender Reveal Party Results In... Massive Shootout With More Than 80 Shots Fired
This sounds like a thing that should happen.
An illegal gender-reveal party in South Etobicoke early yesterday morning ended in a bloody gunfight where over 80 shots were fired by various assailants, according to CP24.An illegal gender reveal party. I'd laugh about this being Canada, but America's leftists are imposing this same lunacy on us.
The incident occurred around 4:30 am yesterday, at a rented location on 8th street near Lakeshore Boulevard West in the New Toronto area of Etobicoke. According to witnesses, groups were firing at each other from two or more cars as people were leaving the party. ... Shootouts such as this one are becoming more and more common in the Greater Toronto Area, often with the exact same MO. Armed attackers show up in a car where they know their targets are going to be and open up on them. The rented premises, which have an entrance in the middle of a deserted alleyway, have apparently been set up to operate as an illegal bar or "booze can" as it is known in the Toronto area. Neighbours have come forward to say that the place has been in operation for approximately one week.So... illegal parties and speakeasies spawned by covid lockdowns and runaway crime and leftwing mayors unwilling to do anything about it. Sounds like America.

I am finishing a Linux Mint PC with Virtual Box and Win7 (later 10, if necessary) virtual machine to run any necessary windows software while I say good bye to MS forever.
Pretty painless, so far, but virtual box and virtualization has a learning curve.

They've had their share of individual shootings -- usually "disrespecting me" sort of shit -- but a couple of years ago our version of 'stop and frisk' was ended and ever since stabbings are up massively; and the Somalis and Jamaicans are fighting a drug war with shootings up massively. In fact, before BLM tore up NYC, Toronto's fatal shootings per 100,000 beat out NYC's for the first time. (I think fatal shootings and not overall murders.)
Oddly enough, Oriental gangs haven't been shooting it up so it's not just Wuhan drug shortages to blame.
Also, it looks like with the cops all over Southern Ontario busy with black crime killings, the Mob has been doing a few hits themselves taking advantage of the busyness I'm sure. Not a ton but probably five or six instead of the odd one or two over one or two years.
The booze can shooting appears to have been done with a real sub-machine-gun from what I heard of a local's interview with a TV News station.
And, yes, Toronto has a "RINO" mayor named John Tory.

Wine is the emulator that you would use if you wanted to try to run Vegas video editor. I suggest instead using Linux native OpenShot movie editor which is a free download for full function. If you want to save in video in the more compact .mkv format, then also get handbrake for Linux --also free.
FWIW, I believe OpenShot and I know that Handbrake have Windows versions for download (free for Handbrake, dunno about OpenShot).
OpenShot is pretty easy to use and doesn't crash much at all on modest 2015 era computers as long as you have multicore and about 16 gb of RAM. Helps to have SSD drive for rendering as well. I use it for quick and dirty video editing (15-20 minute shorties) and it works fine.

God this is a weird world. I have seen so much evidence of this without even trying. I haven't seen anyone take a pic of their dinner in a while though that was huge. I have seen one teen after another go to a certain historic area of our town dressed to the nines only to take a quick pic and leave. In the end what was the point? Did they even look at the place and take it in?

Most of the stuff like Photoshop, people simply use the linux versions such as GIMP because a) it is free and upgradeable, b) the emulators do not work great on Windows programs like photo, audio, and video editors. They have improved but you will take a performance hit due to the emulator as well.

Also check out Brave browser which is pretty good for privacy along with Vivaldi. Both use Chrome engines underneath the interface but strip out a lot of the spyware that Chrome comes with. Both have windows counterparts. Then you can use Firefox for whatever else to drop Chrome's share of business.
