Tater: The Right Has Media Properties Devoted to "Tearing Down" Joe Biden, But the Left Doesn't Have Anything Like That for Trump

Oh?

CNN chief medial reporter Brian Stelter beclowned himself yet again during Sunday's no-so Reliable Sources. Between raging at right-wing media and talk radio for questioning Joe Biden's mental lucidity, and claiming left-wing hacks like himself weren't dedicated to "tearing down" President Trump, Stelter was out to prove that he was willing to lie with impunity. And at one point, a guest floated the idea of weaponizing the Federal Communication Commission to target and presumably shut down right-wing talk radio.

Gaslighting his viewers from the get-go, Stelter hoped they wouldn't remember how he was among the first in the liberal media to demand the press start questioning Trump's mental health, as he railed against right-wing media for now questioning Biden's.

Here's that Mark Dice compilation of Tater repeatedly and histrionically questioning Trump's sanity.

Below, Mark Dice takes credit for launching Little Brian Stelter's career. Enjoy the part where Michael Wolffe gives him a brutal review, right into his fat pigface.

18 This makes perfect sense. I know it is hard - borderline impossible - but try to put yourself in Stelter's position. He doesn't see himself as a partisan hack carrying water for communist revolutionaries. He sees himself - and the rest of the cat house called the American press - as telling the truth. Trump is evil. They aren't partisan hacks trying to destroy Trump. They're truth-tellers up against the world. Nothing at all like the handful of talk radio outfits saying bad things about Biden.

It's delusional, but I suspect that most of them are honestly delusional. Like the shocking win Bush had in 2004. I forget which press whore it was who said something like, "I don't see how this could happen. I don't know anyone who voted for Bush." Probably true. Also indicative of the problem.

Posted by: Joe Mannix (Not a cop!) at August 10, 2020 12:58 PM (hYcqw)

19 Stelter is just running their most successful play - accuse the opposition of what you're already doing.

Why ? Because it works on a lot of people. They can't concentrate long enough to puzzle out that the left is doing what they're accusing somebody else of doing.

That's all this is. And the beauty of the system ? Stelter's probably not even consciously doing this - it's all just reflexive for him now. He's been conditioned to this.

Posted by: Heh at August 10, 2020 12:58 PM (FZ6yD)

20 I often find myself wondering "does this guy really believe this, or is he just lying?" Stelter's either lying or he's mentally ill.

25 I think the point of this is to define a position so in denial of what the right says that a discourse is impossisble. It really is less about making a point than telling liberals what their approved thoughts are. Liberals now know they must not concede rhat Trump is attacked, and believe Biden is persecuted. So they will.

Manhattan isn't the center of the world for them, it's the whole thing. Sure there's vague, subhuman "people" living with dirt floors out there, but those Manhattan people are not just important, but really the only people worth considering.

And even on Fox, that Chris Wallace guy is always trying to convince people that Trump is a genius. It's so tiresome. Why are there no stations where we can go to hear Trump being viciously mocked and disparaged all day? There is a market niche that no media company is filling! Some enterprising soul could make a real killing if they would hire an on-air personality who is willing to criticize Trump, but sadly such people just don't seem to exist!

It's so sad to see the idiots on twatter reposting articles about "stuttering" when somebody puts up a post of Joe not knowing where he is and doing his free-form association shit.

Since when does stuttering make somebody forget what they were going to say? Or not be able to string a sentence together before going off on something else all together? In my 29 years, I've known a few stutterers, and at worse it takes the a while to get out a particular word. But, they always did, and they never forgot where they were going with a thought.

I'd think stutterers would take offense to being associated with a demented old fuck.

---------

Gobbled up so many treats
Ate 'em all, took my chances
Went the distance, now I can't see my feet
Half a man with the hunger of five

So many times, it happens too fast
You crack a toilet for glory
Don't lose your grip on the meals gone past
You must fight just to keep them inside

It's the Eye of the Tater, it's the millionth bite
Bulkin' up to the weight of a freighter
And the fat, sweaty beta snacks again in the night
And he's watchin' us all... with the Eye of the Tater

Face to plate, it's time to eat
Hangin' moobs, stayin' hungry
He stacks the table with a pile of sweets
For any meal, he'll steal, he'll connive

It's the Eye of the Tater, it's the millionth bite
Bulkin' up to the weight of a freighter
And the fat, sweaty beta snacks again in the night
And he's watchin' us all... with the Eye of the Tater

Scale shot straight to the top
Had the gut, got the glory
Went the distance, now I'm not gonna stop
Half a man with the hunger of five

It's the Eye of the Tater, it's the millionth bite
Bulkin' up to the weight of a freighter
And the fat, sweaty beta snacks again in the night
And he's watchin' us all... with the Eye of the Tater

Back when he was at the University of Maryland he started a website about TV news (appropriately called TV Newser) and he got a lot of scoops. It was a must-read for anyone in the TV news business as well as anyone connected with it, including in places like NYC and DC. He eventually sold it to an organization (sorry, can't remember which). So it's pretty easy to argue he is where he is because of that website and the sources he cultivated because of it.

The order says that the parties should be prepared to brief to the court the issue of whether Judge Sullivan should recuse himself or be disqualified by the appeals court from continuing to preside over the case.

That doesn't sound too good for Sullivan. Given what he has done in the case (e.g., calling Flynn a traitor, making himself into an interested party, etc.) it's hard to see how even a bunch of Dim judges can conclude anything other than that Sullivan is hopelessly compromised and unfit to continue as the judge.

353 I saw in GA there was a 9 year old kid that was reported to be a Covid death.

What I saw this morning was the rest of the story - the kid had a seizure and collapsed and died. And tested positive for Covid.

And yes, GA listed the death as a Covid death.

Now, I'm sad the kid suffered, but there is no need for the medical and insurance professions to lie about it.

Oh wait, there is an election coming up. So there is a reason to lie.

Saw a headline, China wuwu deaths could surpass WWII deaths.

Well yeah. If you characterize every death as China creepin' crud, those numbers will get there.

Also, it helps that almost everyone who is dying from it was around for WWII.

Yeah that's a good summary. Even Reagan didn't do real well in that category. Trump is less about macro than local, he wants AmeriCANS to do well economically, not just America as a whole. And I think in business he faced thousand of tooth-gritting frustration moments with how stupid and wrong the whole system is and is trying to fix that.

Which is great, but it does make him a bit myopic about other issues, like how corrupted the rest of the federal government is until they aim at him.

Part of the reason for the crazy inconsistency is that its not coordinated or to logic. Its everyone doing what is right in their own eyes, based on woke calculus. So you get exactly contradictory things going on with Sally Wokestress screaming that Uncle Ben's smiling, wise face is evil racist appropriation, but Jeremy Woketon thinking that highlighting "black products" promotes black people's self esteem and cultural awareness.

That was Cliff Mass, an exceptional U of W professor, and expert in weather for decades. Guessing he is in his 50's. Guy is an expert in earthquakes, too. The local press uses him as a go-to guy for technical explanation and information for big earth events like storms and earthquakes. He's technically brilliant, and also able to explain stuff in understandable terms for common folk like me.

Oh, and the guy is Jewish, too.

I suppose not understanding basic epidemiology, public health, economics, and common sense wouldn't have been sufficient cause.

Firing the entire top "leadership" of the CDC and replacing them with the health directors of SD, FL, and GA might be a no-regrets move - if we can't get any of the Swedish officials to fill-in here on contract.
