Sometimes, a painting is more than the artist's strokes, colors and techniques. Sometimes, it's the story that is happening in that moment. How must Mary have felt when the angel came to tell her what was happening? Was she frightened? Overwhelmed? Humbled? Awestruck? Confused? She was such a young girl and being tasked with carrying the salvation of man, yet she didn't despair or run away. She served.
Things to remember as we face upcoming events in this election and the daily grind of our political state: do not despair. Even when things are incomprehensible, serve. Serve our country and do not despair. Posted by: RondinellaMamma at August 11, 2020 09:49 AM (8/7u2) 93

Posted by: Xipe Totec at August 11, 2020 10:32 AM (o2MD2) It's adapted from Mesopotamian imagery. Winged creatures appear on Assyrian/Babylonian art and symbolize supernatural or heavenly beings. So this would be a perfect case study to see if we can get useful field information... You say you saw five patients... How did each of the five come to be in the hospital? Walk-in, ambulance, etc? What was the general age range of the patients? 1-19? 20-35? 36-45? etc? You say they "tested positive" for Chinese Bat Flu, how was this determined? Presentation of symptoms (No Test), Antibody protein test, RNA genetic material test, etc. What if anything was prescribed? Seeing as we are literally told nothing about this pandemic that's useful I thought I'd take this opportunity to inquire with a front line operator. One only had loss of smell for 2 weeks and didn't tell anyone, PCR test positive. He came in because one of his platoon mates was brought in as a potential heat injury after getting dizzy during training and subsequently tested positive. One was a pregnant wife who had been sick for a week with nausea, vomiting, cough and fever. The fifth was an older retiree on renal dialysis who came in with a fever and cough. Mercedes makes a fine care no doubt. But when you see Mercedes dump trucks like they have in Europe, the name doesn't seem as exotic. Then again, you see a lot of Mercedes cabs and that means something. In France they go with Citroen or some other absurdity. And in London, the legit cabs are at another level, you will pay at fortune for them. But all over Europe you will see Mercedes.

Melbourne could have gone either way, the practical immunologists could have coached the government about herd immunity, protect the vulnerable, etc. But in this case, the government has just taken over, and thought they could control the spread-disaster, and a waste of time. Now their curve is just starting. Posted by: MikeM at August 11, 2020 10:59 AM (Zq3XE) 360

Yeah, just not automotive engineering. There's an axiom called, "designed to fail." Originally a bad joke, but you'd be surprised at who takes it seriously. Then you have some societies who are averse to any sort of engineering and/or quality and who simply steal it from others and get their slave labor to produce it. *looks at China* Posted by: BackwardsBoy - Mask Rebel at August 11, 2020 11:05 AM (HaL55) 382

Unless someone is able and willing to read and understand research including understanding methodology as to whether the study was correctly designed the average American has to rely on information supplied by either the government or medical organizations. Both are politically corrupted now so it is impossible to know what the truth is. Direct info from professionals treating people imo is the only thing left.

The erroneous idea that angels possess wings is not wholly due to olden notions that they must have wings to fly through the air. Human beings have sometimes been permitted to observe seraphim that were being prepared for transport service, and the traditions of these experiences have largely determined the Urantian concept of angels. In observing a transport seraphim being made ready to receive a passenger for interplanetary transit, there may be seen what are apparently double sets of wings extending from the head to the foot of the angel. In reality these wings are energy insulators--friction shields.

You don't need credentials to study, seek knowledge and information, apply your G*d intelligence given intelligence to learn. Europeans have a history of constantly learning and the pursuit of knowledge until we die and pass that down to younger generations.
