The Morning Report - 7/29/20

Nadszep.jpg

Good morning, kids. Midweek and for those who did not watch the attempted high tech lynching of AG William Barr before the House Judiciary Committee, aside from being one of the most despicable, vile displays of behavior that I have ever witnessed, it was nevertheless revelatory. The amateur hour theatrics rang absolutely hollow to anyone who has had even a passing interest in the past two months of violence and mayhem in America's Democrat-run cities. Since the unfortunate incident in Minneapolis that left a suspect dead at or by the hands of police, the Democrat-Left Media Complex has been all over the airwaves and interwebz proclaiming the outrage justified, thinking - spectacularly wrongly (yet again) - that most of America believes them or can be hoodwinked into believing them.

Now all of a sudden, here they are in the land of make believe where, like actual American history in a Berkeley lecture hall, what has been happening for over 60 consecutive nights in Portland and elsewhere isn't really happening. "It's a myth" farted the gelatinous mass of filth Jerry Nadler just a day before as he was ambushed by a real reporter. And after his unhinged diatribe of halitosis-tinged lies hurled at AG Barr subsided, Jim Jordan went to the videotape, showing in living color, Kristallnacht's kissin' kousin accompanied by a soundtrack of assorted propagandists mouthing the same scripted pablum of "mostly peaceful protests." Cue the giant pastrami-shaped Hindenburg crashing and burning.

...Another congressional hearing, another Dem disaster. They planned a public hanging of the attorney general and spent weeks constructing their scaffold. He is corrupt, a liar, a toady, they and their media handmaidens assured us, and the House Judiciary Committee will reveal all.

Two obstacles quickly became apparent. The first is that the Dems were led by Rep. Jerry Nadler, whose rabidness is exceeded only by his haplessness.

The start was delayed because Nadler was in a minor car accident. That was obviously an omen, but Nadler doesn't take hints, so he plowed forward into a head-on crash with a heavyweight opponent superior in every way...

Yet Nadler is a slow learner and there he was Tuesday, opening the ballyhooed attack on the AG with a statement that was a farrago of lies, fake news and slanderous attacks on law enforcement, Barr and Trump. It was so over-the-top, so fact-free and unsupportable, that it had zero chance of setting the stage for a meaningful interrogation...

After the GOP's Jim Jordan countered with an attack on the FBI's spying on Trump's campaign and played a video of pundits calling the violence in Portland and elsewhere "peaceful protests," the air had left the room before Barr said a word...

"This is the first time in my memory that the leaders of one of our two great political parties, the Democratic Party, are not coming out and condemning mob violence," he said. "Can't we just say the violence against the federal courts has to stop? Could we hear something like that?"

The room was silent. The attorney general challenged their loyalty, and not a single Democrat objected. For them, it was just another day at the office.

Nearly every time I watch Barr in extended interviews or read one of his substantive speeches, I find myself saying, "If only."

If only Barr had been Trump's first attorney general, the last four years would have been dramatically different...

As usual, Michael Goodwin at The New York Post brings it, so read his entire column. By the way, the Democrat-Media Complex meme of "mostly peaceful protests" took a self-inflicted head shot from none other than their own candidate, Joe Biden:

...Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden on Tuesday called for the arrest of violent protesters while taking questions for the first time in 28 days.

The former vice president struck a discordant tone with fellow liberals who insist protests against the May killing of George Floyd by Minnesota police are peaceful, and that authorities are to blame for any violence in Portland and other cities.

"I think we do need to hold those who violate the law accountable," Biden said. "We should never let what's done in a march for equal rights overcome what the reason for the march is. And that's what these folks are doing. And they should be arrested -- found, arrested and tried."

Biden's call for the prosecution of violent protesters may further alienate leftist politicians uneasy with Biden's decades of centrist policies...

They better keep him chained to the radiator in the fruit cellar next to Mrs. Bates. He's already on thin ice with the Marxists at Burn-Loot-Murder Inc. with the exclusion of Medicare For All on the Democrat platform, among other things which, along with the non-rioting mostly peaceful rioting, doesn't play well in Peoria.

Circling back, there's another big reason they are going after Barr. The Democrat-Media Complex is absolutely panic-stricken that he and/or Durham are going to hand down indictments in the coup to sabotage candidate and President Trump, which no doubt is going to slam Biden as well as much of his campaign, most of which are populated by Obama and Clinton cronies. Aside from the bitter irony in that statement, the sliming of Barr is their attempt to mitigate the impact, and set up the meme that any indictments before the election are political hit jobs meant to sabotage Biden. They've been playing that bromide since before the rioting and even before the phony pandemic.

So the question is, what the hell is Barr or Durham waiting for? While it was glorious to see him dismantle Nadler and the others (including a mic-drop moment where Jamie Raskin was covered in an ocean of flop sweat), the recent pronouncements that the investigation's results may come after Election Day is ridiculous. The reasoning that they supposedly want to be perceived as above the fray and not political is idiotic. The Democrats engineered a coup to overturn the results of national election. And that coup attempt continues to this day. The very sham hearing Barr was subjected to is part and parcel of it. Americans must know the truth of who the Democrat candidate is and what he was part of BEFORE they go to the polls, or else the plot to overthrow Trump in 2016 will finally succeed this November if he loses.

That aside, the plot to take out Trump is beyond question the greatest crime in American political history. AG Barr wants us to believe that it's his personal mission as a 30-year veteran of the federal IC and LE communities to restore whatever reputation they might have enjoyed, warranted or not. The only way to do that, sir, is to hand down indictments no later than September. And they must include individuals at a minimum as high up as Comey, Clapper and Brennan, if not Clinton and Obama.

The lawlessness, mayhem and violence that we are seeing in America's cities, the very flouting of law and disrespect for law enforcement that you, AG Barr, are appalled by and want to end is joined at the hip to the plot to overthrow President Trump. If you really want to restore integrity to the rule of law, then it's high time to start frog-marching the aforementioned and perhaps a dozen or so others and hand down the indictments. Now.

So they don't see their own behavior as the problem at all, morally or politically; they are fighting a larger evil. If this horrible scary death virus is so incredibly contagious and virulent that we have to wear PPE into the grocery store?

Where are the Biohazard containers? Where are the incinerators and autoclaves?

How is it that the government is not making sure that for people do not dispose of their drippy, gooey mandatory face-burkas and finger condoms in the parking lot or on the ground? Or in the trash can where legend says that the first infected bat was thrown?

If any of this were actually real, we would be going through decontamination procedures at the door of every business.

I predict that Trump is planning on following a CEO succession plan when it comes to the next Republican nominee for president. He's gauging who he wants through his interactions and informal interviews now, and will continue to do so until after the 2022 midterms.

Then he'll announce who he's backing and use his power as the head of the party to unite everyone around him like you would do with board members. His measure of success will be how smooth the transition is.

84 The future of our country rests on whether or not Trump realized after the globalist Left laid waste to his beautiful economy in six weeks that this was no ordinary political enemy and no ordinary political time, and that "MAGA" was not really about a booming economy or stock market but about a virulent force of sedition that had infiltrated almost every level of political and cultural life.

And that his re-election in November MUST be seen as a mandate to destroy the Left -- whatever it takes.

Gee, country is being attacked on all sides and destroyed and we are supposed to feel your pain because you really, really want to be in class but just can't because you have some minuscule chance of getting corona virus and getting sick, and almost no chance of actually dying if you are reasonably healthy

I think this is a great admittance that this dithering and slow-walking / sabotaging the investigation hopelessly corrupts the criminal justice system.

This is one of the top political scandals in memory: complete corruption of law enforcement, FISA courts, rule-of-law; trivializing treason, destruction of the electoral process, lying to Congress, spying on American Citizens, creating political prisoners, frame-ups as a routine and casual prosecution tactic, etc.

All of this means nothing, all of the criminals should live their lives as nothing ever happened (except they keep all of the sweet cash from media exposure) and the trail of destroyed lives goes unavenged because "Dude, that was like four years ago".

173 I tend to think the Kamala story is a trial balloon, but it's helpful to think of this as a contest between which group of Dems has got the upper hand right now. Kamala is the choice of the Nancy Pelosi/Silicon Valley Billionaire crowd, the most radical wing of them all. It's certainly possible they could be on top, they control the House of Reps, after all.

Susan Rice is the Deep State Avatar, which is who I've been thinking was the favorite - but, they may not have the political muscle to overcame the rad left, Liz Warren was always the choice of the Acela Corridor dems, especially the NYC MSM, but they have no draw anymore. and then of course there's the Clinton Organization, but they seem to be finally fading away. I suspect they're mostly allies with the Susan Rice / Deep State wing.

It's worth noting that the Dems don't have *anyone* who has any kind of regional appeal to any southern states.

Meh. The VP is usually an awkward pick and meant to enhance the overall campaign strategy. Someone like Harris will play to the more extreme base and Sleepy Joe is already falsely staking out the "moderate" ground. Expect him to keep doing this. The polling shows that will increase his favorables over Trump.

Biden is already trying to stalk Trump on the economy and other issues. Now, he can't hide from some of the things he's already said or committed to. He also can;t escape from 8 years of dong nothing but killing American jobs and giving them to China. But he's playing on nostalgia and pathos, not facts- and facts don't always win with some demographics.

Trump's campaign need to come out stronger. He needs to have more public events and they need to hit Biden harder on the issues. So far, their offense has been weak.

It requires the candidate to be if not likable then at least someone who doesn't repel voters and someone people can imagine sitting in the big seat and in this case it's a certainty.

If the objective is to control the party after the election and not the presidency, then I think Kamala makes perfect sense.

She'll be the "next in line" for 2024. She'll be able to implement personnel changes to places like the DNC, the DSCC, and the DCCC that the establishment wants.

Essentially, after four years of trying to share power with the Bernie faction, they'll use Kamala to purge the party of them in any official capacity and make the activist left their pet again.

That's guaranteed no matter who they pick.

The question is who is in charge of the Biden campaign. Obviously it's not Joe, he won't be picking anyone, but who is guiding it all at the moment? Jill? Or 'advisors,' who are likely just extensions of the Obama camp.

They'll put in their selection with the full knowledge that Slow Joe will go within a year, or even if he doesn't, they'll be running the show like Wilson's wife did.

The voters are going to have to look harder at the VP candidate than at Joe himself, and the Trump campaign is going to have to make sure they do.

Barr/Durham know how the system works, know how investigations are properly predicated and conducted, they have 5 IG reports as a basis of counter investigation, they have all of the public contradictory statements from the principles, they have everything they need.

If there were going to be indictments there would have been indictments already.

Hell, they haven't even indicted a lawyer they have dead to rights falsifying emails and committing fraud on a FISA court.

So the idea that Barr's DOJ is going to hand out indictments on something this explosive on the eve of a Presidential Election is quite comical.

246 People forget that Democrats don't pick a president, they pick a figurehead and govern by coalition. TheIr strategy is to farm out important pieces of the presidents duties to individuals. This is one reason why Obama failed. The people were underwhelming, the courts stopped some of it and a Republican Congress stopped the other pieces.

They are determined to make sure if they get in power, no matter how they have to lie, cheat or steal, to completely steamroll the American people into submission.

So when you think about this election, don't just focus on Sleepy Joe. There is a lot more going on around him that is equally important.

Yeah, I don't think Tim Kaine became a real focus after that.

I don't think this strategy of relying on the VP candidate to campaign while the POTUS candidate hides is gonna work in the modern world.

Think of what campaign events mean in terms of logistics. You get names, phone numbers, and emails of thousands of people who could be donors or volunteers. What attracts people to these events? The VP? Surrogates have some value, but they're usually not huge draws for these sorts of things. Assuming there are events at all, of course.

268 >>She doesn't need to be an inspiring leader to be granted the power of presumptive nominee. I don't think she matters all that much herself, but she is a vessel for the efforts that the establishment pretty obviously wants: total control of the Democratic Party again.

I think that ship has sailed. If we had an actual media that took a critical look not just at Republicans but at Democrats one of the biggest political stories right now would be the massive split occurring in the Democrat party.

The ascension of the Bernie Bros/Squad part of the party has been heralded as the fusion of two wings of the left. The fuse didn't really take. The two wings don't much like each other, they just hate us more. But the rift is real and threatens to burst at any moment.

The antifa wing has got to be scaring the shit out of the less crazy establishment members. Despite their claims, most of America is not insane and doesn't think this country is evil and needs to be destroyed but that is where the energy on the left is today. Slow Joe had to come out with a statement yesterday condemning the violence and anarchy. Pretty out of step with the base.

And now we are hearing there is a rift growing over medicare for all being excluded from the party platform. Regardless of what happens this fall, and I think Trump is going to win fairly easily, there is a reckoning coming for the Democrat party. They made a few too many deals with devils to build their clown coalition.

271 The Democrats used their time to defame Mr. Barr. Now, the private citizen, Mr. Barr, should sue them individually if any of that footage ends up in campaign commercials.

The congressmen are protected by the Speech and Debate Clause during the hearing, but when they go outside and put on their politicians' hats, they are not.

The relevant Supreme Court decision is Hutchinson v. Proxmire.

AG Barr should hold a press conference and tell the press, in person, that he will sue any media outlet that runs political ads that include defamatory footage from the hearing.

I don't know that changing what they are gaslighting about is a change in strategy, but if so, this is already happening.

They are moving off the "there is no violence" to the "well of course there is violence the Trump stormtroopers are there!"

At the same time, they are employing "well no its just right-wing-race-war Boogalooers who are violent."

That the two are contradictory is unimportant. As Scott Adams says, facts are not persuasive.

In effect, that selection might mean that the DNC considers punting on 2020 because regaining control over the radical left crowd is more important. I just don't see how they would find her helpful to Punchy Joe in his basement, but she could be useful elsewhere.

Because Trump recognizes that a dictatorship must begin somehow, somewhere, and Portland seems as good a place and time as any. Retweeting a piece that claims that this is occurring is just good social-media manners and political honesty.

Bringing the coup conspirators to justice is not like taking down a Mafia king pin where you bang up a street thumb breaker and he starts rolling on the Capos's above him.

This operation and the people involved are all known, they are all high level DOJ/FBI/CIA figures.

This is not rocket surgery or brain science and it doesn't take Sherlock Holmes level of deduction to figure out who's who and what's what.

And it certainly shouldn't take over a year and the brink of a Presidential Election to figure out if you got the goods to bring charges.

All it takes is the moral conviction and stones to bring the indictments that are hanging out there like a juicy meatball.

It turns out the Japanese really don't like music downloads; CDs are still the preferred distribution model. Partly because the music companies are run by older people who distrust electronic distribution.

They are also reluctant to export their music (unlike the Koreans) because they are afraid of losing face if the music is not well-received. Seems they were very humiliated by the failure of Pink Lady and Jeff back in the seventies.

Barrel escape?

378 Here are snips from two insane items on the KATU Channel 2, Portland, OR, website this morning:

=====
From a report about Fredo's interview last night of Portland's Mayor:

Wheeler said there are already conversations underway about the presence of federal officers and he's happy with those talks so far.

"I expect that there will be an announcement shortly. Portlanders do not want to continue to stand there at that fence and fight federal officers each and every night," Wheeler told Cuomo.

=====
From a report about how the City of Portland is fighting back against the Feds:

The fence put up around the Mark O. Hatfield U.S. Courthouse in Portland is blocking a bike lane, and the city's transportation department is fining the federal government "$500 for every 15 minutes" it blocks the public thoroughfare.

"As of yesterday, the federal government owes us $192,000 and counting," said Commissioner Chloe Eudaly, who oversees the Portland Bureau of Transportation.

The fence was initially put up Wednesday, February 22 outside the courthouse.

Transportation officials say that section of Southwest Main between 2nd and 3rd avenues is "one of the busiest bike routes in the country."

On Tuesday, July 28, Commissioner Eudaly sent out an update on what she called Portland's "federal occupation," including some more information about the fence.

She says the city has not received a response to PBOT's cease-and-desist notice.

"We are assessing the maximum fine of $500 for every 15 minutes the fence obstructs our street, and we are investigating other legal remedies available to us," Eudaly said.

She said the city would typically send crews in to remove obstructions like this, however, the said she "will not sent workers into harm's way."

Posted by: Gref at July 29, 2020 09:21 AM (AMIL/)

379 And if people thought that the nutty, sleep deprived fat woman protesting in Portland was bad they should see the picture in today's NY Post of some person with a bullhorn in Portland. It is clearly a man wearing a skirt a tank top and womens sandals, because of course everybody wears a skirt and tank top to a riot.

396 386 I get the frustration here with Barr, but he is a lot like Trump in that he believes in the system and importantly the rules of the system. It might be nice to think about having a radical law breaker, like say Holder, in the job but it really isn't in the nation's interest. I continue to believe the cure here may be worse than the disease under a system of laws. Now if we want to truly cure the coup as it were, that requires mass arrests and firing squads which is a big leap for a sentient population.

With Nadler in charge, it was a guaranteed "own goal" or two. Recall it was he and this committee who trotted out desiccated John Dean prior to the "impeachment" main push because he'd be the wise voice from the past to sound the clarion call of danger. Recall, too, that it took little more than a pass or two using a dull-bladed Slap-Chop for the brighter GOP members of the same committee to reduce the entire show to low level farce.

They think they are brilliant script writers, but they really are Jack Nicholson repeatedly typing "all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy" over and over again.

My experience with psych patients and Biden is pretty interesting as most of them thought he was a big pervert that should be stopped. One young woman thought he was raping her via radiowaves, and several guys (all genuinely mentally ill and not just using that as an excuse to riot as they didn't riot) thought he was a pedophile molesting the Obama girls and that he needed incarceration. They seem to know a pedo when they see one.

414 rom a report about how the City of Portland is fighting back against the Feds:

426 Historically, the Democratic Party has been a party of the "outs" where it is a coalition of voter groups aggrieved by what they perceive as power. The identity groups differ over the years as do the policies pursued by the Party but dissatisfaction with the status quo is almost universal.

Right now, Biden is probably the last straight white male to be nominated by the DNC and given his health, the struggle is on to be the dominant identity group in the Dem Coalition. That power struggle is being played out between the Obama people, the remnants of the Clinton coalition of white progressives, the money folks--especially now the VC, Finance, and Techlord communities, and the officeholders at the top tiers of the state and national offices.

The Republican coalition has historically been narrower and reflects the global versus republic perspective--the global cosmopolitan perspective has emphasized US power abroad, relative progressivism at home, etc. Teddy Roosevelt, Eisenhower, Nixon, Dewey, Wilkie, Hoover, Ford, GHWB, GWB, etc. reflect this perspective while Coolidge, Taft (father and son), McKinley, Reagan, and Trump reflect the American first bloc. In the Republican party, the upper middle class progressive globalists (country club Republicans) disdain the populists entrepreneurs, skilled workers, etc.

In a two party system, like in Great Britain, the risk is that one or the other factions in a party goes wild and essentially damages the party electorally. Labor demonstrated this in the last British general election. GHWB in 92 demonstrated the tendency in the Republicans as did Goldwater in 64. The Dems cracked up in 1968 and 1972 with Humphrey and McGovern.

Who Biden (or really his advisors) selects as VP will identify the dominant faction for 2020 and 2024 for the Dems.

"Let President Trump arouse his voters as he will," Schiff wrote, "while Democrats continue to focus on the economy, family and a return to basic decency. And in the meantime, all Americans should reserve judgment until the investigations have run their course.

452 442 Sandy Ocasio-Cortez is 30. She is not qualified by age to be President. I hope I die before she becomes President, but I expect she'll be on the ticket for President as soon as she can be.

457 Barr was asked point blank yesterday by the Rep from Venezuela by way of Florida if he would commit to not releasing Durham's findings until after the election.

He said "No".

He went on to say that he was well aware of DOJ rules and releasing the findings would not violate the policy.

Now why wouldn't he commit if he isn't going to do it? Is his strategy to help Trump by pissing off his base?
- - - - - - - -

By the way Jack, he may very well release the findings before the election. The findings may be powerful but the findings against Hillary were powerful.

Oh - if Billy ever gets off the pipes and puts any of the players in jail - the media will report it as the biggest miscarriage of justice since the Rosenburgs. And I'll laugh.

But it ain't happened yet, and I highly doubt it will. Because it never does. Of course, I never paid much attention to the score of a Globetrotters game either.

460 >>By the way Jack, he may very well release the findings before the election. The findings may be powerful but the findings against Hillary were powerful.

The findings might include indictments. Did you hear Kerry Kupec, DOJ spokeswoman on Hannity last night?

She said that one of the reasons for Durham's delay, something that Barr and she have both said previously, is that the courts were shutdown because of the virus just like everything else in the country.

Durham doesn't need the courts to write a report.

461 He simply doesn't want to or think it's necessary. He likes the two tier system just fine.
Posted by: CN at July 29, 2020 09:17 AM (ONvIw)

That's certainly part of it. The major part is Barr cannot do anything about DOJ/FBI corruption. The system is too compromised and corrupted to allow prosecution of DOJ/FBI criminals. A new FBI headquarters is scheduled to be built. Really, given what a vast criminal enterprise staffed by human trash the FBI is, that is all you need to know.

At this point, all people can do legally is get on juries and nullify government cases, encourage local law enforcement to shun and not cooperate with federal authorities, and ostracize people who work within the federal system. All those things will be crimes soon enough so do them while you can.

464 Pretty obvious the nightly orgies of hate in Democrat run cities are not polling well. Duh. I'm consistently amazed by people who think Democrats are brilliant strategists and planners and are winning the PR war with Trump. That's ridiculous. The Democrats are fuckin insane and every sane person knows it.

Its pretty easy to convince someone that the Democrats are bad for their health, livelihood, family and America itself. The problem is when people ask why they should vote for Republicans. Other than Trump and a few others, there's no reason to vote for Republicans. The GOP is just a bunch of spineless cowards who don't do anything. And that piece of shit McConnell actively works against us more often than not. Really the only reason to vote Republican is because they're not insane Democrats. Not exactly an inspiring slogan is it.

465 "The lawlessness, mayhem and violence that we are seeing in America's cities, the very flouting of law and disrespect for law enforcement that you, AG Barr, are appalled by and want to end is joined at the hip to the plot to overthrow President Trump. If you really want to restore integrity to the rule of law, then it's high time to start frog-marching the aforementioned and perhaps a dozen or so others and hand down the indictments. Now."

This is 100% correct. You cannot regain the trust of Americans until you end the two tier system of justice. So far, despite his acknowledgement that Obama admin spying on the Trump campaign is the biggest scandal in the history of this country, Barr has not indicted a single person for this crime.

Barr looks an awful lot like Lindsay with the strong words and zero action. Maybe the fat fuck should push away from the buffet table and do some actual work. Until then, it sure looks like Barr is another deep stater just running out the clock and hoping Biden gets elected and takes him off the hook.

Yep. Yet, a huge number of people still believe they were screwed.

Why ? Because everyone "moved on" before the lie was crushed. And any lie left standing ling enough becomes true.

It's not enough to be proven right. There's still work to be done after.

467 I just emails to the Westchester County GOP and NY State GOP essentially asking them what exactly they are supposed to be doing around here?

There is zero public, political support for the President or anything resembling the pro Trump agenda that I see coming out of the professional, fundraising GOP.

Time was (and I'm not saying that will come back) NY was a kind of 50-50 state. Yes two generations of unrestricted Third World immigration and indoctrination K-grad school will change that.

But the deafening silence from our "professional" GOP is so deafening to the point that they've become complicit in delegitimizing the President, his voters and the pro America agenda. Yes New York is a lost cause electorally. But they use the "popular vote" to deligitimize the President, and there are lots of individuals throughout the state who would be very receptive to our agenda if only the GOP made some minimal effort to contest the field. I'm sick of this useless, dogshit party.

I didn't hear this but something is getting lost here, in the report you're making. The courts aren't shut down. The DOJ is filing cases. Grand Juries are issuing indictments. Federal courts are conducting trials.

The courts WERE shutdown. They are open now, even in Portland.

That was a factor in the delay.
