Trump just slammed 3M bigly!
Posted by: Ha at April 02, 2020 08:59 PM (odrqb)

Tucker just last hour had a FLA official in charge of buying N95 masks.

He got the runaround from the mfgr, 3M. 3M has 20 official distributors, who sell all product, and the FL guy put in an official order over a month ago, and the distributors keep dropping his order in the cue.

Here is the big rub.

He was told off the record that there are foreign countries showing up with cash and buying the masks instead. Some distributors off the record told him what was going on as they gave him another excuse his order was delayed once again.

3M said they don't have control of their own distribution channel to do anything about it.

Tucker during the interview kept the CEO's name on the chryon MIKE ROMON 3M CEO, WHY WON'T YOU HELP?

Trump I am sure saw that show, or was told about it a few minutes after it was broadcast.

If this is true, and my guess is yes (looking at the frustration on the face of that FL guy) I hope the 3M CEO gets his ass handed to him on a platter.

Embarrassed, the young nurse replies, "I don't know, Sir. I'm only here to wash your upper body and feet."

He struggles to ask again, "Nurse, please check for me. Are my testicles black?"

Concerned that he might elevate his blood pressure and heart rate from worrying about his testicles, she overcomes her embarrassment and pulls back the covers.

She raises his gown, holds his manhood in one hand and his testicles gently in the other. She looks very closely and says, "There's nothing wrong with them, Sir. They look fine."

The man slowly pulls off his oxygen mask, smiles at her, and says very slowly, "Thank you very much. That was wonderful. Now listen very, very, closely: "Are - my - test - results - back?"

Sweden has not closed down their country, unlike most others.

They acknowledge the virus and say to wash your hands and be careful, but stores and restaurants are open.

And they have less problem than us.

Sweden does have a larger percentage of single person households, however, affecting the transmission rates compared to families coming and going from the home. Some claim that Sweden is using the "Heard Mentality".

Historically, the "Heard Mentality" has been the way societies have protected themselves, by having the majority of the population testing positive and living through it (IIRC 70%+) and a virus burns out naturally.

This seems to be working in Sweden, without killing their entire economy.

Why couldn't Bill Gates build this into his 201 model?

440 Got this from a Russian friend..
--
The reason Italy got hit hard..

A Russian language article from 2016 with many self-explanatory photos.

This is a town of Prato in Northern Italy where illegal Chinese workers have been settling since 1990's as Italian clothes makers were trying to save the textile industry.

These small towns are now mostly Chinese populated (a couple hundred thousand people in total), and many of them were traveling back to China in December and January unaware of the virus.

https://varlamov.ru/1568870...

One interesting snippet of text in Russian says that the Chinese immigrants have brought their culture to this medieval Italian town, like kids peeing in the middle of the street or adults spitting on the ground, requiring the Italians to post signs against these "cultural peculiarities"

555 OH SHIT

I HAVE A RAIDERS NIT PICK

>>>HOW MANY GUNS DOES INDY HAVE??!?!?!

so watch the shootout in the Nepal bar.

Indy has two guns -- the revovler that they show prominently, AND a 1911 colt automatic.

But I think in editing they decided to just have him have one iconic gun, and they edited away the 1911.

Except, in a dozens shots, you see it. And they cut back and forth from the M1911 to the revolver hoping you won't notice.

I have a theory about his revolver, too:

I reckon it's not a colt .44. but a colt .45 ACP.

Yes, acp. In world war i, they made revovlers that fired acp rounds because they had so many acp rounds. The rounds were held by "half moon clips" that held the bullets in the barrel so they didn't fall forward.

My theory he has that 45 revolver variant and the 45 ACP M1911 so he can just carry the 45 acp ammo.

As the corporate cuck donor class likes to tell, a company's highest obligation is to its shareholders. So, if they can make more profit by selling a greatly needed product to foreigners, it's all good.

good idea but he would have ended up sealed in, entombed

here's a few questions:

Um, the Incas had traps that were triggered by sunlight and shadow? They had photovoltaic cells?

(My theory (I think about this movie a lot) is that the trap is triggered by a little fish tank weight and when the fish suddnely swim to one side to be in the light, it trips the trap.. but that's, um dumb)

also: who is resetting these traps? How do crossbow bolts fire after a thousand years? The rope hasn't rotted?

None of that sequence makes any sense, really.

the tribesmen, there are hidden chambers to reset all the traps !

Posted by: runner at April 02, 2020 10:14 PM (zr5Kq)

585 one more thing:

In the Incan tomb, there isn't a roof, really. The "tomb" is actually just a long pit dug into the ground, halfway covered by like branches and stuff.

At best, it's partly roofed.

Anyway, point is, he didn't have to go IN the tomb. He could have walked its length looking down through the incomplete roof. And then just gone into the last room from above.

Oh, I think I said Raiders was in 1935. It's not. It's 1937 I think. Temple of Doom is in 1935.

It could just be that this isn't an invading army, just an army detachment which is doing the digging (as an engineering corps would), and they negotiated peaceably with the Egyptians for digging rights.

Despite being implied in the movie to be Egyptian, the writing around the edges appears to actually be Hebrew. The script is related to ancient Phoenician, which was used for both Hebrew and even early Greek, but is called Paleo-Hebrew.

Transliterated it reads: "v'amah achat m'al" "kadesh" "kabed YHWH v'hamiskhkan".
Translated it reads: "and one amah (Which was a biblical measurement) above/more" "holy/set apart" "honor YHWH and the tabernacle".
This translation goes against how the old man translates it in the movie but explains why Indy's staff was actually taller than the Nazi staff.
