i have no interest in drama though I responded because enough was enough. I have my ideas why someone might think I am a challenger. Nothing could be further from the truth. Hell I plan on quiting the site every day. I am like James Garner in Support Your Local Sheriff. I am always on my way to Australia.

44 I always have figured the clock was running on a new pandemic (last real one being Spanish flu, also, not saying this is one.) The more interconnected and further and faster people travel means deadly bugs have less of a chance to burn themselves out.

Again, not saying this is one. One thing on the tin foil hat idea with regards to China. An outbreak serves their purposes in a lot of ways. It diverts attention from Hong Kong. Starts making Hong lingers start thinking about something else. It also gives them a reason to lock things down that the world will agree with.

68 Step back for a moment and consider the remarkable political choice of the democrats to violently alienate about half the country. This seems to be new to modern politics. Politics is the art of compromise, of consensus building, of pandering to one's base but at the same time not directly, aggressively attacking and alienating others. But that's exactly what the democrats are doing. It is the Politics of Contempt.

If it works, our lives will get darker and uglier very fast.

This is an example of just how far over to communism and world order the US Democrats have moved. They believe (with many good examples) that the US is now a socialist democracy and all we are arguing over is when to turn over the central rule to Brussel or Beijing.

I was chatting with my "stylist" yesterday as I was getting my hair cut & the subject of the Kung Flu came up

She was all "those poor people in China", did not know that there are confirmed cases in The United States.

"Well, it's just two people" she said

I had to walk her through the "vectors":

Guy gets infected & flies from Wuhan to Seattle (with 300+ of his closest friends).

Gal gets infected & flies from Wuhan to Chicago (with 300+ of her closest friends).

Asked her how many connecting domestic flights there were out of SeaTac & O'Hare (each with 200+ people)

math is a cruel bitch & the numbers get very large very fast

I asked her if she had read The Stand (she had)

She was quiet for a minute, then said "Are you going to watch the Grammys tomorrow?"

141 The new Space Force logo and those who hate Trump freaking out?

Backstory:

Originally that shield with the star was the official logo of only the starship Enterprise. On the uniforms of Kirk and crew but look at Lexington's shirt insignia, different. But with the first movie, the Great Bird of the Galaxy decreed because of Kirk's exploits on that ship the shield became THE emblem of Star Fleet.

The Space Force logo is actually based on the heraldic history of both NASA and of Space Command.

Looking up some history, the "delta" (triangular variations) goes back to 1942, with the Army Air Corps. It was first used by the USAF (what the Army Air Corp became) for space related things in 1961. Star Trek, TOS, premiered in 1967.

The USAF Space Command logo is very similar to the new Space Force seal. In fact, it's just a redesign and evolution.

And FFS; guns kill 93 million Americans a day? In a country of about 327 million.

Dumbass.

He was recently said to be in remission but needed to continue chemo) plus pneumonia does not equal a story I want to think about.

My dad is a kind, humble, funny man who has barely spoken a cross word to anyone in his life (unlike me...or my mom...). I can't describe what he means to me and my mom, and my sister, and his four grandsons, and pretty much every person he's ever met, without a bunch of hackneyed cliches.

237 "They do not know how to talk to people that are independent and free."

Oh yes they do, and she's doing it. This is my point. Mr. Peebles gets it. The problem is they seem incapable of "helping" people without a strong dose of punishing the innocent.

One can argue the merits of "diversity" or "affirmative action", "Inclusion" but it always seems to turn into a "Hate Whitey" and "Exclusion" exercise. They don't really believe what they are selling. They just want to tear everything down. Because they don't fit in. Warren is useless in that respect. Very sad, because the schools and universities are being turned into little (big) Socialist Activist Factories, and proving grounds for mobocracy and leftist agitation before being deployed on the populace at large.

Think of all the wacked out ideas coming from the Ivy league. Americans laugh, at first. Then act surprised when just a few short years later it's widespread, "mainstreamed", and The Law Of The Land That Shall Not Be Questioned. And you'll lose your job, promotion, family, friends, if you do. Have to have at least grudging admiration for the "progress" they have made over the years, turning everything upside down and backwards. I never thought it was possible, didn't think it could happen here.

We thought we were safe in our institutions, our laws, our constitution. Leftists had other ideas.

So a 21 year old, while still a High School student is arrested again for a sexual offense.

All while already being a registered sex offender.

And I still would like to know his citizenship status.

Here is the real problem.

In April of 2018, Sudano pleaded guilty to lesser charges of a
fourth-degree sex offense and second-degree assault. The second-degree
rape charge was dropped.
A judge sentenced Sudano to eight years
in prison, all of which was suspended.
He was put on probation, forced
to register as a sex offender, and then, allowed to return to Parkville
High School.

He should still be in jail so he would not be in school. Back years ago when I was in school they automatically kicked you out of school when you reached 21. And then you got drafted.

What seem suspicious is the gummint's reaction to something they're claiming is a particularly virulent strain of influenza.

I suspect that it's one of two things:

1. They really aren't capable of rapidly deploying medical treatment in the form of a vaccine or other medicines that help fight it. Quarantining millions of people is a knee jerk reaction unless there is some kind of infrastructure to support them during the quarantine.

2. It a virus that manifests itself as an influenza but that can rapidly mutate into a much more severe contagion.

Fen, there's also an online celebrity gossip site (crazydaysandnights.net) that has been revealing various criminal activities of Hollywood people (mixed in with the mostly fluff stuff like "who's dating who"). They were leaking details about Weinstein for over a decade, Bryan Singer, Dan Schneider, also Ed Buck and others that have been shown to be true. This site has reported that Schiff's good friend owns the Standard Hotel, and this hotel is known as a child trafficking site (where the kids are delivered/where the hookups take place) for many years.
