The Quotes of The Day

Quote I

“It’s the safest restaurant in the country,” Lauren Boebert of Shooters Grill in Rifle, CO

Quote II

“So what we’re trying to do is put the border wall up to push illegal apprehensions to areas that they can patrol, they can apprehend and interdict folks, and the like. That’s our goal, that’s our strategy and it’s working,” Chad Wolf, the acting secretary of the Department of Homeland Security

Quote III

"They also told me that I wouldn't get sick for 30 or 40 years. I'll most likely be dead by then anyway, so I couldn't care less."Naoto Matsumura

Quote IV

”He was in Congress for years. He had one senator support him. Nobody likes him, nobody wants to work with him, he got nothing done. He was a career politician. It’s all just baloney and I feel so bad that people got sucked into it.” Hillary Clinton

Quote V

“It’s as bad as if someone burned a cross in someone’s yard. We have got to stop this. This is not the Wild West. We should be able to civilly disagree with one another, where you’re not displaying acts of murder on your front lawn,” Elesha Gayman

Quote VI

The American Dream is back, bigger, better, and stronger than ever before. No one is benefitting more than America’s middle class.President Donald Trump

If you are a professional you should work for an employer where your beliefs mesh. Of course, "Educators" never think this through. If you work for a Catholic institution, you shouldn't bitch when pro-Catholic teachings are presented.

They worry it will hinder their efforts at recruiting ‘excellent’ students, faculty

Dozens of professors at a Canadian Catholic college are upset over the school’s screening of an anti-abortion, pro-life film, claiming that the movie may frighten top-rated students and faculty from applying to or working at the school.

The campus ministry at King’s University College in Ontario screened the film “Unplanned” earlier this month, LifeSiteNews reports. That movie depicts the story of former Planned Parenthood clinic manager Abby Johnson, who became a vocal pro-life advocate after having a conversion experience about abortion. The movie was a financial success when it was released last March.

Last week, following the screening, over 40 faculty members sent a letter to the college’s principal, David Malloy. The letter slammed the movie as a “polemical film,” one that functions as “anti-abortion propaganda that incorporates graphic and inaccurate depictions of abortion.”

Tonight's science lesson. How much sleep is necessary? Me? As much as I can get.

In fact, researchers have found that sleep plays a vital role in the functioning of nearly every organ system in the body. At the same time, medical conditions, a busy schedule, and even the simple unavoidable act of aging constantly challenge the number of hours we allow ourselves. But that begs the question: how much sleep do we actually need? And can we train ourselves to need less?

First, let's talk about that eight hour figure that gets tossed around. It’s far from some arbitrary number. It's truly the number of hours we naturally crave, and there are two pretty strong pieces of evidence for it. In a series of experiments, researchers took study participants into a laboratory with no sunlight or other visual cues and, at night, gave them a non-negotiable, nine-hour-long opportunity to sleep. They did this each night for a number of weeks, and the results were always the same: even when provided with more time, humans will typically spend an average of eight hours catching up on their Zzz.

Republicans are always accused of sticking their noses into the privacy of someone's bedroom. Actually it is the Democrats who are the Nanny State practicioners. And Gov. Andrew Cuomo is a poster child.

That’s right: From now on, you will not be the ultimate arbiter of your own bad or good choices, at least not without fear of prosecution. We’re not talking getting roofied at a bar—current penal laws already list “mentally disabled or mentally incapacitated” (as well as “forcible compulsion,” “incapable of consent by reason of being physically helpless” and being below certain age thresholds) as reasons why a person cannot consent to have sex. We are talking ipso facto being considered incapable of giving consent due to having consumed alcohol. Should you choose to go ahead and have sex while drunk, you will by default be seen as a victim (or perpetrator) driven by what you wanted at the time, a person, in the charming words of Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr., “unable to control his or her conduct due to that intoxication.”

A good thing? Or government gone too far? Facial recogonition.

Over the last few years, Customs and Border Protection has been rolling out facial recognition programs at ports of entry across the country, including the nation’s international airports. Now, the agency is increasing the use of the technology for its optional Global Entry program.

The Global Entry program allows frequent travelers who are considered “low risk” to bypass CBP officers and go directly to baggage claim after visiting a kiosk. To date, Global Entry at most airports consists of scanning the traveler’s passport and fingerprint at the machine before being cleared to enter the country.

Going forward, CBP will be streamlining that process, instead offering travelers pre-approved through the program the ability to use facial biometrics for clearance, eliminating the need for a passport or fingerprint.

You too can be an entrepreneur for $10K. Chick-Fil-A franchises are only $10K, but there's a catch. Of course there is.

Why Chick-fil-A franchises are so cheap

Take another look at the charts above, and you’ll see that Chick-fil-A stands out in a few ways:

It has no minimum net worth requirement.
It has the lowest franchise fee of any chain ($10k).
It has (by far) the lowest total investment cost for a franchisee ($10k).
It charges (by far) the highest royalty fee.
The reason for this? Unlike other franchise models, Chick-fil-A — not the franchisee — covers nearly the entire cost of opening each new restaurant (which, according to its financial disclosures, runs from $343k to $2m). The franchisee only pays the $10k franchise fee.

Chick-fil-A pays for (and retains ownership of) everything — real estate, equipment, inventory — and in return, it takes a MUCH bigger piece of the pie.

While a franchise like KFC takes 5% of sales, Chick-fil-A commands 15% of sales + 50% of any profit.

Cankles Clinton laughed about it.

Now France's Marcon isn't happy.

A day after France's Emmanuel Macron condemned Turkey's transferring Free Syrian Army (FSA) militants to fight in Libya at the Berlin peace conference, a new video has surfaced and is going viral which shows a group of foreign fighters strolling through the streets of Tripoli.

The regional publication Libya Review describes the short video as featuring a group of Turkish-backed Syrian mercenaries walking through the capital city. Macron on Sunday slammed Turkey's program to send thousands of jihadists to fight Gen. Khalifa Haftar in Libya. Macron expressed "acute concerns over the arrival of Syrian and foreign fighters in the city of Tripoli" which "must end". Erdogan, Putin, Macron, Pompeo and other leaders were present for the talks which produced little definitive agreements other than common commitment to cease the flow of foreign weapons and fighters.

Muammar al-Gaddafi was no angel. But then again the Islamists in the Middle East are not either. Nature hates a vacuum. Just WTF did you think was going to happen when you took Gaddafi out?

Well this certainly sucks. Married for two weeks and groom finds out his wife is a man. Guess there was not a whole lot of consummation going on there.

In a news story you would expect to read on websites like The Onion, a Ugandan holy man was suspended from his duties as imam, after it was discovered that he had unknowingly wed a fellow man.

27-year-old Sheikh Mohammed Mutumba, was recently suspended from his duties as a cleric at the Kyampisi Masjid Noor mosque in Kayunga, after his wife of two weeks was caught stealing a TV from a neighbour. The theft wasn’t what caused the imam’s suspension, but the shocking revelation that his wife, Swabullah Nabukeera, was actually a man. Mutumba is said to have been totally oblivious to his wife’s real gender, and was devastated by the news. His superiors at the mosque still decided to suspend him in order to ‘preserve the integrity of their faith.’

Goat and 9 year old jokes are all fair game.

Will President Trump take 15% or more of the African-American vote? It is looking more and more that he will.

Black Pastor Comes Clean, Admits Trump Is More ‘Pro-Black” Than Obama Dooming Dems In 2020

A black pastor just stunned the Democratic Party with the brutal truth and it just may cost them the 2020 election.

Trump has famously passed a crime bill that no one else would or could, a bill the Democrats initially passed, that destroyed so many people in the minority community.

Trump’s crackdown on illegal immigration has resulted in more and better jobs for low-income Americans – just look at what happened to the Chicken plant in Mississippi after an immigration raid.

Many African Americans jumped at the chance for the new higher-paying jobs. Look, Trump’s plan is working.

Causing Pastor Darrell Scott to say Trump is more “pro-black” than former President Barack Obama.

From The Washington Times:

Pastor Darrell Scott of Cleveland, co-founder of Mr. Trump’s National Diversity Coalition, is one of several dozen inner-city faith leaders working with the White House on prison reform and other initiatives to help urban America.

“This is probably going to be … the most pro-black president I’ve seen in my lifetime,” Mr. Scott said Wednesday in an Oval Office meeting with the president. “This president actually wants to prove something to our community, our faith-based community and our ethnic community. The last president didn’t feel like he had to.”

Mr. Scott said of Mr. Obama, “He felt like he didn’t have to prove it. He got a pass. This president, this administration is probably going to be more proactive regarding urban revitalization and prison reform than any president in my lifetime.”

Is Robert Epstein paranoid or is he onto something? Google critic wife dies in auto accident. Accident or premeditated crash?

A high profile critic of Google, who accused the search engine of meddling in the 2016 election, has now suggested his wife's fatal car crash was not an accident.

Robert Epstein, 66, said in July the internet giant's methods 'gave' millions of votes to Hillary Clinton during the 2016 presidential election.

In December he announced that his wife, Misti Dawn Vaughn, 29, died after her truck spun out of control along a road in California and into the path of a tractor-trailer.

On Sunday he tweeted: 'Last year, after I briefed a group of state AGs about #Google's power to rig elections, one of them said, "I think you're going to die in an accident in a few months." A few months later, my beautiful wife #Misti died a violent death. Makes you wonder.'

Well off? Do you have money to burn? First of all, good for you. Seriously. Secondly, here are some of the most expensive cities to live in.

The study analyzed a total of 309 housing markets in eight countries — Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Ireland, New Zealand, Singapore, the UK, and the United States.

To produce the ranking, it looked at data from the third quarter of 2019 using the "mean multiple" approach — the median house price divided by the median household income. The more points a city has, the more expensive it is to live in, according to the ranking.

The survey shows that the most "severely unaffordable major housing markets" are currently in Australia, Canada, China, and New Zealand, which has been the case for a number of years, including last year's report.

Dr. Laurence Pilgeram. Nope, I never heard of him either. But, Holy Cow is this guy the center of one big badass legal fight.

A fraught, multi-million-dollar legal battle over the frozen head of a now-deceased biochemist escalated into fraud claims this week, after four years of wild allegations that at one point involved talk of a wax dummy head and an alleged hidden will.

Let’s start from the beginning.

How long can you tread water. Not long enough if you are a Genius Award Winner.

A Florida man attempted a “not so great escape” last week when he tried hiding from deputies underwater in a pond – an “action movie” stunt that officials easily foiled when he came up for air, authorities said.

Daniel Christopher Booth, 36, had warrants out for his arrest in Baker County for selling methamphetamine, the Suwanee County Sheriff’s Office wrote Wednesday on Facebook.

When a deputy attempted to arrest Booth at his job at a solar power plant, the sheriff’s office said, the 36-year-old ran away and dove into a pond.

“Now we can only assume that Mr. Booth has seen one too many action movies and thought he could hide from the K9 teams, from Suwannee CI and Mayo CI by hiding under the water in a pond,” the post read.

A click of the story is a must. His tattoos are just stunning.

I got online for about an hour to answer emails and give "Thank Yous" but I immediately had to lay down before answering. I still get dizzy and "starry", at times.

I cannot get hydrated much and now there is a strange Tinnitus with hissing. ...and I am still dizzy at times.

Vomiting has ended and I could eat an apple and a small sandwich, but I might have to go back tomorrow.

The economist whose predictions seem to match up closest to reality is a 19th C guy named Henry George. He postulated if the money supply is greatly expanded, instead of increasing growth all that new money would simply drive up the price of real estate, raising the cost of living without providing much benefit.

129 so on Winchell Chung's Project Rho site today, I was reading about Project Orion.

The USAF 10M Orion had three main components: the Orion Drive propulsion module, the stacks of magazines containing the nuclear pulse units (the Propellant), and the Payload Stack.
...The USAF nuclear pulse units are atom bombs. They were about 0.6 meters tall, had a mass of 79 kilograms, produced a 1 kiloton nuclear explosion, and produced 2,000,000 Newtons of force per pulse unit. They were basically nuclear shaped charges. 80% of the blast was focused on the pusher plate instead of being wastefully sprayed everywhere.
... The propulsion system also carries 138 "starter" nuclear pulse units. These are half-strength (1,000,000), used to start a period of acceleration

I want one.

A "word" of advice that helped me. Get about ten feet of some decent (nylon) line, tie knots about every foot in the top eight feet. Secure the bitter end to the bed frame where it will be at your feet.

When you need to get up, you will then have a way to use your arms (hand over hand) to assist you into a sitting position without depending solely on your recently traumatized abdominal muscles!

This was very useful to me in a similar situation.

At that price, even if you don't wanna trust a Taurus as your primary carry gun, I'd imagine that this would be a great "near the front door" stash-gun. Or, something like that.

174 Yesterday, I got rid of a male squirrel who thought he was King of Casa Gref's roof and patio fence. I decided to give him a chance at a reformed life - I trapped him in a Hav-A-Hart capture trap, and released him a mile away.

The interesting thing - when he was out and about, at least two other squirrels also ran around Casa Gref territory. Since that 'bull squirrel' has been gone, I haven't seen any squirrels around the yard and patio. I don't know if there's a cause-effect relationship on this; it's only been a day and a half.

BUT, stay with the rehab regimen (also at home) until both she and the therapist agree she is in full recovery. Then keep up the home regimen for a long time.

In November of 2018, I was scheduled to have a major operation on Monday. On late Friday afternoon before, the finance office of the hospital called and told me I had to pay my co-pay/ deducible up front. If I could not pay it, I would not be allowed to have surgery.

FYI, this is happening because of all of the Obamacare people with high deductible/co-pay policies that simply defrauded back in the day. Now everyone else is screwed.

So, a warning to people. You may very
well be required to pay for all co-pays and deductibles up front before
any operation/ procedure/test.

I have read that one of the things that estranged him from the other Beatles, however, is that he was a nervous player and would often mess up take after take after take, eating up lots of time in the studio. 305 Moon Moon Blutarski, I know an interesting fact about Jethro Tull!

The story behind their name. Like most bands just getting started, they often found it difficult to score gigs, and even harder to get repeat gigs.

They were constantly changing their band name, and they just happened to be using the randomly-chosen name Jethro Tull when they got their first invite to return to the venue where they'd just played. So, that ended being the name they stuck with.

Jethro Tull was the name of the guy who invented the threshing machine, a big technological breakthrough for farmers. It's now a key part of the modern combine.

I have read that one of the things that estranged him from the other Beatles, however, is that he was a nervous player and would often mess up take after take after take, eating up lots of time in the studio. Their engineer Geoff Emerick has spoken about the problems he had going live to tape, and sometimes Paul would just say 'fcuk it' and do George's part himself.

I believe it.

I never could understand why everyone raves about Clapton. I've never heard a song he's played on that sounded like he had a difficult guitar part. Maybe my ears just don't hear it.

I will say this about Clapton: He heard Stevie Ray Vaughan play a bunch of times and absolutely raved about him, essentially saying that SRV was the greatest guitar player on the planet. Which I agree with, and give Clapton credit for recognizing it.

On that note, SRV and Double Trouble, Voodoo Child (slight return), Live at the El Mocambo:

"Went to my doc's office today to review labs. cholesterol was 300 (90 HDL, 210 LDL). She put me on a statin effective tonight. Lipitor I believe.
Welcome to 43.

Unsolicited advice, based on experience reported by others, and personal experience:

1. If you must take a statin, get on Coenzyme Q10. is reputed to help prevent much ugliness caused by statins. Do the research. Do a lot of research. It is worth your time.

2. Get off statins as quickly as you can; specifically, change your diet, exercise regimen, etc. to cause your physician to indicate that you may discontinue statin use.

3. If you have any "weird" feelings in your muscles, tell your physician. Make her listen and explain. When I was on a statin (~2010), I started feeling a "numb spot" on my left quadracep, about 1" above my knee, and about 3" in diameter. My physician said ... not to worry. After about 2 months of this, I stopped the statin on my own, and said so. A few months later, I changed physicians.

Jethro Tull is not even a heavy metal band. They're a blues rock band with a heavy folk music influence.

Reading Jen Rubin's nonsense about multitasking.

There have been studies on this. Humans stink at multitasking, with only a very small percentage of the population being able to do two things at once well.

And there's a bit of Dunning-Kruger like behavior there as well. People who think they're good at it are the worst.

I was in between bands and had some time, so I dove into classical to relearn a lot of stuff I forgot over the years and tried to get that back under my belt. Well, after a few months of that the wife was less than amused. She's an old world metal chick, but has a ballet background. I figured the classical wouldn't be bad. One night she was in the kitchen, and I was in the family room playing classical, and out of nowhere she pokes her head in and says "will you play some fucking metal already". I said, but you told me you like when I play while you're cooking. She says not THAT shit. lol

Not a bad idea but never. The next Dem is going to lower the bar bigly again, so they can never admit it. Especially not about St. Mochachino.

Not sure. A Senate buddy of mine and I were talking about this very topic today. Neither of us were certain, but we think impeachment votes, like human gender and presidential elections (for now), are binary: guilty, not guilty.

Yeah, Jerry Nadler is now calling every Republican Senator a co-conspirator with Trump to cover up some crime, or "scheme" as they've now taken to calling trying to prevent the DNC with making off with tax payer money given to Ukraine because they don't vote Jerry's way.

I thought there was a Senate rule about impugning the integrity of Senators on the floor of the Senate - maybe Mitch will step in a whack Jerry's pee pee - that would be a site.

Mine isn't too bad. She likes to sing, so I'll find some country chick CDs, like faith hill, or one of the other popular chicks. Thank god there is no pop, or top 40, or weird shit. She had a CD by the offspring, and there was a song called hammerhead that caught my ear. It had a tinge of metal roots in it. No comment on the rest of the CD but that song was pretty cool. She is basically metal though. It would suck for her if she wasn't. I would make her life hell. lol

453 Of course discussion of presidents and economic conditions requires a bit of context and detail. Much is beyond any administration's control, and cyclical dynamics will always to some degree assert themselves.

You can be incompetent and fortunately impotent/inept bystanders, like the Clinton administration, while the economy has a secular boom totally unrelated to anything you do/don't do.

Or, as with Trump, you can inherit a flat economy barely meeting cyclical "recovery" norms, or not meeting them, weighed down by every imaginable formal and psychological burden disastrously imposed by the clueless looters in charge, and energize it by simply taking the boot off the neck, and then super-charge it with lots of specific reforms.

Note: apart from the complicated area of trade, the key and completely non-secret ingredient of successful economic policy in the US is ..... staying out of the way.

Speaking of this, I saw the headline (only) of an article whose super-quote is that 3 presidential impeachments in the author's lifetime is "bad for America".

WTFF? On its face, an idiotic concept. It's entirely the *nature* and *legitimacy" of the impeachments that matter. Obviously. The first two (Nixon and Clinton) were not nothingburgers, and cannot be compared to this current farce.

But I've noticed the quality of commentary (especially from the younger non-leftwing-dolt types) is pretty mediocre, and declining.

Even hotter..WAY hotter, when was she sang Xanadu (weird song, HOT singer), live.

IIRC, it was either Saturday Night Live or some awards show. Don't think it was the Tonight Show with Carson, but I'll not rule it out, either.

Do not ask me the technological methods by which it occurred, but the raw sensuality and animal sexuality actually did pour out of the speakers and emanated from the screen.

I rather doubt that even a hawt stripper in a high end club could've matched that level of Come Hither.

Epic, breathtaking, mesmerizing, hypnotic.

She is why V.P. Pence won't be in a room alone with another woman. He would be powerless to resist her powers.

I remember reading something Calvin Coolidge, one of America's great presidents, stated about the economy. He said if there are ten things that need to be done, do nothing and wait. 9 of those 10 things will sort themselves out, i.e., stay the fuck out of the way. Then focus on that one problem. Coolidge was a man after my own political/economic/worldview heart.

509 AOP, I assume the Vancouver real estate bubble dates back to the Hong Kong effect, which was before there was much mainland China $$ to drive up values anywhere.

There must be quite a bit of foreign $$ involved in driving up many hot markets in the US. For understandable reasons.

Though the bond looting of 2009 showed how thin the line is, now, between the US and Zambia or Argentina, it's all about "comparatively", and, comparatively, the US remains one of the "safest" capital environments.

526 I actually didn't bother to read the Organizing Resolution, so not sure, but yeah, the Senate is going late because the schedule is for a couple of days for the trial. There's a limit. Note that it wasn't unusual, at least in the old days, for the Senate to go past midnight, or be in session on weekends, for certain matters. So it's not unprecedented in any way.

Still recall a funny incident from the wee hours, with Goldwater inexplicably in the chair.

573 Interesting topic and ONT, Mis Hum -- The matter of sleep. As a scientist by training and inclination, I've explored some of the boundaries of sleep, on myself.

If you have a curious mind, you have probably done this too.

I need close to 8 hours of sleep, it's true. I've run for days on 4 to 5 hours, and tried the weekend catch-up. It works to an extent. Afternoon 45 minute naps are a big help.

My current sleeping pattern, prevalent for years, is 2-3 sleeps, none of more than 4 hours. Some might call that insomnia, and from a technical definition it is so -- the inability to fall asleep or remain asleep.

It's the 'remain' that is my issue. But I have learned various tricks to quickly FALL asleep. Even taking 10mg of ambien, I cannot sleep past the 4.5 hour mark. I just get up groggy.

The brain sez "Sleep", the body sez "Fuck You". And so it goes. Or maybe it's the other way around.

I remember, with a vague certain fondness, sleeping 14 hours straight on a weekend night, after burning the candle at both ends plus the middle during the week.

As for earthquakes, yeah, time sure as hell slows down. I've been in a couple of "earthquakes of size" -- 5.7 in L.A. in '87 (not a big # but it was one of those BAM!!!s and fairly close to the surface so it felt a lot stronger) and Loma Prieta here in S.F. in '89. That one had aftershocks forever. I got so damn sensitized to them. The BAMs are over as soon as you realize what they are (and they can be LOUD). It's the rolling ones that reach a point where you realize what's happening and wonder if it will continue. There is nothing like being in a strong roller. It's an experience you never forget.

577 I sleep about 5-6 hours. Did it for years. Occasionally I'll do 8, but it's rare. I sleep like a rock. Slept through minor earthquakes, massive thunderstorms, during takeoff on airplanes, a major car accident in front of the house and so on. I guess I do concentrated sleep. Not a morning person though.

Loma Prieta on the second deck of Candlestick was surreal. The 1964 quake lasted over five minutes. I remember watching the trees bend down and touch the ground on both sides out the front window. Mom told me later that she thought it just wasn't ever going to stop.

And the jolts were epic. As were the aftershocks. They went on for over two years.

We are still having aftershocks from the 7.2 a year ago November. Not big ones, but constant. Some people are reporting motion sickness issues, mild but all of the time. I think maybe that's more the result of overthinking it.

I live where the ground moves. We don't have tornadoes, but we do have earthquakes and the occasional volcanic eruption. It's a fair trade-off I guess.

589 Good Morning Morons today is Wednesday, January 22, 2020. On this date in 1973 a far left Supreme Court delivered its BS decisions in Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton, legalizing elective abortion in all fifty states. This made up legal crap was based on an equally BS decision in Griswold v. Connecticut that allowed them to use statutory creep to make this ruling when the case was already moot because Jane Roe had already delivered the baby and that was on top of the fact that the case failed to meet federal requirements for standing. Everything about that case was BS but the Democrats will rush Hell with a cup of spit to save it. And the original decision only allowed an elective abortion in the first trimester. More judicial lawlessness has resulted in allowing an abortion right up until the time of birth now.

644 A prayer for job seekers:

Dear God,

You know my needs. You know my desire for a job, for work I enjoy doing, for the next step in my career to present itself. I pray that you would guide me as I continue on this job hunting journey. May I focus first on your will for my life, putting your desires and your plan above my own wishes and wants. Open doors to new opportunities that you desire for me, and equip me with the skills, knowledge, and wisdom I need to take steps forward in this process. As I craft my resume, write cover letters, submit my applications, connect with new companies and potential employers, and go on interviews, give me the words to speak and the courage to share who I am and what I can do. Give me confidence that can only come from you, and give me humility too. I trust you, Lord-- my life is in your hands. Your will be done. Thank you for being near to me every step of the way and thank you for always providing for my every need. May this all be for your glory.

She plowed into my son's car and two other people's cars two weeks ago. She was driving erratically. She needs to slow down and get her life in order as she has two girls. She will probably think I'm crazy (but I don't care) and said basically that I didn't know if she was religious or not, but that God loves her and she's a person of gifts and talents so she should take care of herself and if she wanted to ever talk about anything to text or call me. I also told her that I forgave her for the accident.
I should have said something at the time, but my son and the woman she ran into who had a little granddaughter in the back seat were shook up and I was talking to them.

Oh its still like that here. My old plant if you got convicted of DUI (any offense) you were pretty much fired immediately. You lose you license for 6 months on first offense and when you get it back you have to have an SR 22 filing which will cost you out the ass and you have to attend a drunk driving class held by the country which will also cost you out the ass too.

737 I love how these supposed 'reporters' start arguing with the President as he's giving answers to their question, this donk apparatchik gets double bonus points for partisanship, she's aggressively pointing her finger at the President.

But I will say this, the President and his team are doing themselves a disservice by not laying out a compelling public narrative for why they wanted the Bidens investigated.

The President needs to layout the narrative thusly, The Obama administration spied on me and my campaign and set into a motion a grand worldwide conspiracy to harm me as a candidate and when I became President to remove me from office.

One of the nexus of this grand conspiracy runs through the Ukraine, while looking at what went on the in the Ukraine, the road led us to Joe Biden and his son, Joe Biden was responsible for the Ukraine policy and one of the responsibilities given to him by the Obama administration was getting rid of a prosecutor that was investigation the company his son was working for, in the quidest of quid pro quos.

Why they don't make this case and push this narrative aggressively eludes me.

775 "VIA, I am watching the report on the new SAFE law being considered for Baltimore County gun stores."

During the last election, Baltimore County residents elected a progressive new County Executive.
Since then, he has championed eliminating the voluntary aspect of the federal housing voucher program, and requiring all landlords in the county to accept housing vouchers as a form of income.

He has actively courted illegal immigrants into the county, negatively impacting the quality of life in the county.

He recently hired a former 20 year Officer from the City of Baltimore as the new County Police chief. Many claims that her hiring was a political move, overlooking at least two better qualified male candidates for the job, in order to meet his stated goal of having women at the head of all five public safety sectors of County Government.

Baltimore county has seen an almost doubling f murders since his election.

And yes, he wants to disarm the law abiding citizens of the county with laws such as this.
