Eeeeeeh, 50-50. Next steps if Iran escalates may be a sign, though. If Iran has a nuke, it will only be regionally relevant in all probability - they don't have any ICBMs and it's hard for them to deliver one here otherwise.
In-region, they could nuke Israel or they could nuke one of their neighbors. Either would bring down absolute destruction on them, likely in the form of nuclear retaliation that ends Iran.

Technically, killing Osama *was* an assassination, and killing Suleimani was not. Osama, as an non-traditional/informal/unofficial warrior, was not a military officer. He was a civilian leader, strictly speaking, that we iced. And assassination. And a good one.
Suleimani, however, is a uniformed military officer of a belligerent state. This was a targeted killing for sure, but not an assassination.

We were and still are in a declared war against "those who attacked us on 9/11," and in a declared war with Iraq. Soleimani was implicated as an enemy in both.
Remember that grounded airliner on Iranian territory used to train hijackers? And Soleimani was providing shaped explosives to our Shiite and Sunni enemies in Iraq. Helping him was aiding and abetting the enemy in a declared war.
The founder's feared that such treason could come about through bribery. That's why bribery is in the impeachment clause. In Obama's case it is because he is an ecumenical Islamofascist, as determined to help Iran get The Bomb as he was to side with MB/ al Qaeda in every arena (Egypt, Libya, Syria, Iraq, etcetera).
The president is NOT allowed to aid and abet enemies in a declared war. He can hang for that, fully under the Constitution.
