Brian Stelter, Whose "Media Analysis" Show Consists 90% of Taking Republican Tweets and Dunking on Them, Whines That It's Not "Journalism" to Take His Tweets and Grind a News Piece About Them

Brian Stelter had tweeted disapproval of Justice Gorsuch promoting his book on Fox and Friends, although he never mentioned anything about Gorsuch appearing on CNN for the exact same purpose.

This caused some accusations of hackery and hypocrisy and incompetence -- as it should.

Someone wrote this up for the Philadelphia Inquirer, and Tater, whose show is just Stuff I Read on Twitter Which I Want to Dunk On, now says that it's wrong to take tweets and turn them into news stories.

It isn't hard, you insist on making it so.

A House Resolution is a creature of the House. Perhaps even doubly so when it comes to Articles of Impeachment, because they have the "Sole Power" to impeach.

A House Resolution needs nothing from the Senate. Once the House approves an HR, it is an approved HR.

These are WORDS and WORDS MEAN THINGS.

Your bodyweight times the number of boob wrinkles per square inch divided by 10 is the number of ounces of beer it takes (4% ABV average).

245 85 So what? The Senate cold read the text of bills in the House too, but they do not vote upon them until the House passes them and sends them over.

Why is this hard?
Posted by: not so at December 24, 2019 05:23 PM (HALdu)

It isn't hard, you insist on making it so.

A House Resolution is a creature of the House. Perhaps even doubly so when it comes to Articles of Impeachment, because they have the "Sole Power" to impeach.

A House Resolution needs nothing from the Senate. Once the House approves an HR, it is an approved HR.

These are WORDS and WORDS MEAN THINGS.

These answers are easy to find and know.

Impeachment is not legislation. It is a sole power of the House.

As a resolution that has passed the House, it doesn't expire like a bill. Because it is a resolution.

318 Speaking of Christmas music, Mrs naturalfake was trying to get some traditional Christmas music out of our Amazon Echo.

Alexa is the stupidest fucking fake human entity evah.

We literally couldn't get any kind of "Christmas" music that you would recognize or want to hear, until finally
I cam up with the idea of saying:

"Alexa, play popular Christmas music from the 1940s."

and then we actually got some Christmas music with some tradition behind it, including a few with mentions of that Unmentionable on Amazon Christmas Baby Jesus(!)

Oh, and popular Christmas music from the 1950s works pretty well too.
