Reckoning: Techno_Fog Posts Thread Quoting the Tweets of Those In the Media (Including the Fake Conservative AEI Media) Who Perpetrated Comey's and Schiff's Lies on the Public For Three Grueling Years

I'm not going to post them all -- there are a lot of bad actors, obviously -- but you can scroll through the Hall of Shame here.

Much of this has to do with the lie that the Steel "dossier" wasn't even part of the FISA application. Horowitz reports this is false -- the "dossier" was "central and essential" to the FISA warrant. A previous warrant application without the Steele lies had been rejected.

Schiff and the Deep Staters knew that the Steele dossier was a lie, but used it to get a warrant anyway -- requiring them to later deny that the Steele dossier had been included in the FISA application.

And there were a lot of Fusion Kens and Fusion Nats in the media willing -- nay, eager! -- to lie and lie to the public about this.

Others stake their journalistic reputations on the claim that most of the Steele dossier has been "verified"!

And they still haven't issued any retractions for their lies, and they never will.



Obviously, chubbalicious progressive manbaby Jonah Goldberg is on the list.

Yeah its not exactly true that nobody gets fired, all these news giants have laid off a lot of people. The NYT emptied out so much of its building that its renting out space now. Steven Pressfield's excellent novel Gates of Fire. While the 300 Spartans are marching to the Hot Gates, they meet a travelling salesman with a foreign accent. That phrase is the salesman's catchphrase.

The Spartans also get a good laugh out of him, because he has a sign on his cart that's supposed to read "Only the best service for you, my friend" but he effed up the spelling so it says "Only the best service for you, my foreskin."

It's an excellent novel. I've had three or four copies because people would borrow and steal them

so last month, I bought a single thing at Amazon, and at shipping time, offered me a free month of Prime, but have to cancel before it is over, or I'll be charged $12.99 a month.

I go there today to cancel, kind of tough to find the link, but did so and clicked.

Amazon had a "we really don't want to see you go" messages, but after I clicked "cancel", a new message came up and said "add another month for free, just by clicking this link, and we will also notify you before you get charged."

I now have free Prime through the Christmas season, and until January 20.

When someone is running a con, they often hire someone as a fake expert to assure the mark that everything is on the up and up. Say I'm trying to pass a fake diamond. I tell you "Baron Von Strindberg is a famous diamond expert!" when he's my friend in the wig and monocle.

But a better con is to get a real expert convinced the diamond is real, right? Then he passes any possible background check. Say show him a real diamond, which he verifies, then switch it with the fake. but it is still not perfect - the expert might just turn on you if he sniffs a con.

The best con is if you can convince the the real expert to advocate on your behalf, without him ever knowing it was a con. A great way to do this is to ratchet up the con.
Say start your friend in a wig and convince a low level expert the diamond is real. Then get that expert to convince another expert. And those two experts to convince a third. Play your cards right and you have a hundred experts telling everyone the diamond is real. they are all relying on the reputation of the entire business. "Diamond-r-us says it is real, and those guys are never wrong!"

Sometimes, if the ego is big enough, those experts will deny it was a con to their graves, because he could never be fooled, and 100 experts can't possibly be wrong.

I think we see all three versions here. Fake experts. real experts that were fooled, and real experts convinced to become advocates. The media were conned, straight up, by their sources. But having huge egos, being easily flattered, and hating the president, and having a herd mentality (well, maybe I'm wrong, but what about so and so with the Washington Post?").

And, lastly, in this case, it is absurdly easy since there is not fuckign diamond.
