Wednesdays are days in which mothers in the horde and anyone else says special prayers for children of horde members. Please include the grandchildren as well.
Updates and new requests: 11/5 - Pooky and Pooky’s girl have had a major setback in the process to become adoptive parents. Pooky’s former therapist refused to sign the recommendation form, and now their social worker wants them to withdraw from the program. They ask for prayers as they try to figure out how to move forward. 11/18 - ibguy requests prayers for healing for Jenna, the daughter of a friend and colleague, a wonderful young mother with a very serious case of MS. 11/18 - ibguy also requests prayers for healing and a return to childhood for Elena, the grand-niece of a co-worker. Elena is a 2 ½ year old girl with serious cancer/tumor, who has been in a hospital most of her life. 11/18 - ibguy requests prayers for healing and direction for his mother-in-law, Marilyn, who is 86 years old and was in a bad car accident. Marilyn is transitioning from rehab to Assisted Living. 11/20 - JG asks for prayers for resolution of best friend’s marriage troubles. 11/23 - TP asks for prayers for his neighbor (Karen) who suffered a major stroke while in treatment for lung cancer. 11/23 - MM requests prayers for his mother, who was just diagnosed with her fourth bout of cancer and faces surgery the week before Christmas. 11/25 -ERF asks for prayers for his nephew, who has had a difficult life, to learn that there are family members who care and want to help him if he lets them. This morning, he lost his father in a house fire and his two dogs. About 9 years ago while he was in high school, he lost his mother (my wife’s sister) to a lengthy battle with MS. They had lost their home due to medical bills and he has been a lost soul during high school and afterwards. 11/26 - Prayers for comfort for the family and friends of Rickl, at his passing from cancer. 11/27 NKG asks prayers for a friend, who seems to have a relationship with God, but needs confidence and success. His job is not very secure.
11/28 - BHG is asking for prayers for two co-workers who are contractors at risk of losing their jobs at the end of their contracts. Prayers for health and steady income and security for them. 11/30 - JR asks for prayers for someone he knows who has used up his retirement savings fighting cancer, and asks for continued health for him, and also God’s strength as he starts over. 12/3 Skip’s dad has pneumonia 12/3 Prayers for AverageGuy and family after death of 20 year old son by suicide 12/3-Tmitss’ brother has dementia and pneumonia 12/8 Iron Mike Gold-prayers for comfort and strength for family as father has died 12/8-MyLifeisInsanity- Caring for mom with dementia, Husband had non cancerous tumor in brain and having seizures . Prayers for healing from radiation, graceful acceptance of medical situation, clear path through financial questions and difficulties after losing job as a semi driver of 25 years. Boss has been very nice and husband has another lesser paying job, but has to make a decision about retiring, looking into disability or staying with company at another position. Prayers for strength for MLIS too. 12/8 Chavez the hugo- Wife blew out knee. Surgery is 12/23. “Tough times at casa Chavez the hugo 12/8 Cheribebe-Has cancer, is also caring for elderly mother with mother just diagnosed with cancer and dad. Need spiritual uplift and healing 12/8 Slapweasel-Has cancer and is caring for elderly parents 12/8 MAB asked for prayers former co-worker who is a recovering addict. He was just laid off. Need recovery and new job. 12/8 Sock_rat_eeze - Colonoscopy reversal scheduled for Dec. 19th in the morning.
Praise reports: 11/18 - Tikvah sends thanks for the prayers since 10/23 - her foot wounds have been healing nicely. 12/8 Lurker “I have a cat” said they praise God for alerting them to a gas leak in their kitchen
Requests for continued prayer: - OldDog’sinMo’s wife, Slapweasel (also for an organ donor) and strength in caring for elderly parents with have memory and other issues, Cheribee, also Tami’s daughter, Circa’s brother, - VNRedLeg, Scott M., Fox 2!’s friend, Mary Beth for healing from bladder cancer, Mother of a co-worker of Josephistan - For Laura who has metastatic breast cancer and told she has 3 years to live. Flounder’s MIL, continued healing from cancer. - USNTakin and wife-he asked particularly that she have relief from pain, but strength and relief from pain for both of them. - For Allison- in her 30’s-for complete healing after a stroke after having a baby. - For healing for Josephistan’s mom who has difficulty with daily tasks and is anxious and withdrawn. Also strength for him caring for his mom as he is alone in doing this. Help in finding a caregiver. He also needs job help. - Hrothgar’s SIL, for diabetes related neuropathy. - Poster ET going through a difficult time. - Beltway Elite’s mother-recovery while in recovery from stroke. - Hrothgar’s friend, a hospice counselor who needs healing after being affected by fumes from muriatic acid. - Healing for Blaster’s son who has issues with depression.

The question is not that there wasn't brazen and manifest corruption and criminality perpetrated against candidate and now President Trump by the LE/IC at the behest of the Obama administration, Hillary and Deep State, the question is who if anyone was going to do something about it.
I am heartened by Durham and Barr's very strong rebuke of the conclusions of the IG report and Barr's media tour of the last few days, but as the say, the rubber hits the road when indictments are handed out.
And that is looking more and more like it won't be happening till at least May, and utlimately if it is ever going to happen, it will have to happen before the end of September to adhere to DOJ policy of not affecting elections with politically charged indictments.
So we have anywhere from 5-9 more months of waiting.

Our church is participating in this program. We're up to 24 houses for homeless vets so far.
The development is amazing and inspiring. There's a health clinic, and a community center, both manned entirely by volunteers--no paid staff. The community center has job counseling, and the vets are tested for drugs and alcohol. It is truly a blessing for homeless veterans, many of whom will be spending their first Christmases with a roofs over their heads.

Just watched an online Bill Whittle interview from last month that is exactly about this: the Left's intentional destruction of beloved movie franchises that depict the archetypal hero's journey, and their failed invasion of video games.
While Whittle's analysis of how they are destroying Star Wars, Terminator, Star Trek is familiar (though he points that you can red-pill people by using the erasure of Star Wars backstory = Democrats erasure of inconvenient history), he makes an excellent point about video games. All video games are about two things: making money and then purchasing weapons.
Video games are so popular because it is a bastion of conservatism, even if the players don't recognize it. They just know that IRL, a young person can't say he like capitalism and guns, and is told masculinity is bad. Then the enter a video game and can hyper masculine, do repetitive work to earn gold/currency, then buy weapons to kill Nazis, monsters, whatever. He says that this proves that conservative ideas are winning, not losing.

Let's work through the Letters of Transit "plot point" problem:
Victor Lazlo is in neutral Portugal. As you correctly state, the Nazis would've arrested anyone on sight if they were caught in possession of these Letters. I believe Britain would've construed the Letters as a valid entry document, however, because the Free French govt in exile was in Britain, as was De Gaulle himself.
My problem with the Letters is... WHY would they be so damn invaluable? You could get into Britain, or another neutral country (U.S.), with ANY valid passport issued by another neutral (or allied) nation, just as easily as you could with the supposedly priceless Letters.
Another point: as a supposedly world famous Resistance bigshot, Lazlo would've been admitted to Britain without ANY passport at all, in all probability.

The real takeaway for me so far is that the FBI and DOJ have such a low threshold for starting surveillance or and investigation is basically whatever someone at the FBI and DOJ wants it to be.
That's scary as hell but according to the current rules not biased or illegal.

My connection to Matt Drudge was that Drudge Report was a RELIABLE and trustworthy site on COVERING worthy news stories. Sure, those stories may be bent from conservative perspective, but the point is, when a NEWS EVENT happened, I could always trust Drudge Report to say SOMETHING about it.

What he said was they found no documentary or testimonial evidence of political bias. They didn't find a smoking gun document that showed political bias in the decision they made nor did anyone confess that the things they did were politically motivated.
They have no power to subpoena anyone and can only interview documents in possession by the DOJ and they can only interview people who are currently employed by the DOJ.

I think Carter Page is a strange bird. I read his recent court filing (looks like he wrote it himself), and I know he previously filed a case (though I don't remember the cause of action). But really, this guy needs a REAL constitution lawyer here. Sydney Powell, of course, comes to mind. But there are many others.
And, where are the hard-core Civil Rights attorneys? Yes, ACLU is a leftist organization, but they have stepped forward on a few important occasions to represent Conservatives in important civil rights cases (see e.g., Defense of Oliver North).
A SERIOUS Carter Page lawsuit could get at additional information, similar to what Durham can get at. Especially if President Trump. helps the dude out (as he should) and issues a declassification order about Carter Page to prevent the government from hiding behind classification nonsense.

So assuming the senate will not convict, and also assuming the Democrats don't want a Senate trial, the best option is for impeachment to fail.
It would need to fail by a few votes cast by representatives in the districts Trump carried. I disagree that those representatives would be vulnerable by virtue of a loss of far left votes. First, I don't think in those districts that is a big concern, and second, to even win those districts they had to carry them with centrist Trump leaning independents.

Check on this. I did some digging on this story a while back and this secretive Granite Cubed company was, I believe, started by one of Matt Drudge's inside advertisement gurus (a family friend), but then the facts got murky, like maybe it got sold to, or that family connection later left the new company or something.
In any event, this story COULD be circumstantial evidence of a sale. As in, new owners decide to change the advertising approach of the site.
On the sale issue. I used to be an M&A attorney. For a private company sale, like selling The Drudge Report, there is no public reporting requirement disclosing the change in ownership. Further, because the HUGE value of The Drudge Report is tied up in the brand image, it is 100% guaranteed that a buyer paying the person Matt Drudge hundreds of millions (or + $1B or more), would insist on an NDA (prolly 5 years or so), AND would likely require the person Matt Drudge to continue to show up for work for a few years, even if he no longer has control. NDA would require his continued silence, and the pay-out would be structured to release in tranches, to ensure compliance with the NDA. So, we won't hear about it, at least from Matt Drudge...

The original due date they gave me was 2/27, which I'm sticking with since he's an IVF baby so we know exactly when conception happened, yada, yada. That said, I have a feeling he's going to turn up sooner than expected, which means I really, REALLY have to get to work on the nursery.

Horowitz is correct in that there was no bias admitted to by the witnesses or explicitly written down in any of the documents he saw.
Of course, there was tons of bias exhibited by the actions of all the people he investigated.
It will be amazing if anyone on our side points that out.

I don't personally fault the person Matt Drudge if he sold his site for a Uber-ton of money. Given the Progressive's long war against Matt Drudge, I can easily see them finally throwing in the towel and just offering him an absurd amount of money to give up the site. And if that happened, I do hope he insisted on an outrageous and absurd amount of money.
Does give me the sads on the issue of News, however. We all know how difficult it is to pierce the veil of the organized propaganda of the so-called news industry in this country. Drudge was always a breath of fresh aware, and stick in the eye, to those efforts.
Now? Ugh. I'll check out LibertyNews, Dan Bongino's site, etc., but we have to wrestle with the fact that there is no longer a top-tier platform that we can rely on to report actual news stories.

You seem to think IGs are federal prosecutors. They aren't. They have completely different jobs.
If you don't understand what they do how can you make an assumption of whether or not what Horowitz did was good or not?
Of course there was political bias. All Horowitz is saying is that given the limitations of the IG they did not find documentary or testimonial evidence that proved they made biased political decisions. That isn't spin. That's what they found.

Jack is trying to find the most positive spin he can about the IG report, by omitting certain truths that are troubling to his narrative. I think its pretty clear that he could have and easily would have been much more damning with his opinions and conclusions were this a different target by the FBI, such as Obama.

That is a completely different question. But Horowitz did find serious violations of the FISA process and in other areas including falsifying documents. They broke the rules. Some broke laws.
It will be up to federal prosecutors in Durham's office to find out why they made those violations.

Hillary set up an illegal and unsecured private server for her government email as SOS, and had the friggin' Chinese commies getting secretly copied on every damn e-mail she sent, and was likely also hacked by every other bad actor on the planet. She broke multiple federal laws relating to the proper handling of classified documents, and she did all this so that she could avoid another federal law -- the FOIA -- that would have required her to make public her email correspondence as SOS. She didn't want the public to see her correspondence, as much of it concerned (1) her own massive incompetence; and (2) her blatant corruption as she ran her influence-peddling scheme and laundered the pay-offs through her and Bill's "charitable" foundation.
But yeah, it wasn't Hillary's own illegal and corrupt acts that caused the American voting public to distrust her; it was Comey's press conference that did it!

Yes, her mom is an actress and her dad is an actor/director (and his dad is a famous director or something, too).
Her mom was so active in climate activism that she got 2017 Activist of the Year award from some international org, so it is no surprise that little Greta started her Friday protests not long after that and had a meteoric rise in activist circles thanks to her mom's connections. Andy McCarthy blows this talking point out of the water just now on Fox - and he knows what the IG does and he knows Horrowitz personally...and the fact remains that the IG can and should make inferences like anyone else based upon actions of the principles involved...the point of an IG is to uncover wrong doing and help suggest fixes for the department, including correcting bias in work product - if you pretend you don't know why or how the issues you found came about (and Horrowitz is completing pretending here), your not part of the solution here.
