It's a Politico article, so don't click!. But it is a clear signal that the hard Left is becoming frustrated with the superannuated Democrat leadership, and wants change now. It's hard to see anyone on the national stage who would give them what Warren constantly signals as her platform (Sanders is, perhaps, different, but no farther left), but that's simply not enough for these heirs to the Weathermen and the SDS and every other left-wing organization that espouses the overthrow of free markets, free speech, and every other freedom we have.

Millennial socialists’ favorite magazine is breaking up with Elizabeth Warren. But it’s saying: It’s not me. It’s you.
That magazine is Jacobin, the nine-year-old publication that has become the de facto voice of the young socialist movement in America. Its favorite candidate all along has been Bernie Sanders, the only self-proclaimed socialist to mount a major campaign for the presidency of the United States since Eugene Debs almost 100 years ago. But for many months, as the 2020 campaign began to unfold, Jacobin treated Warren as the next best thing.

I don't know about you, but I am rooting for both sides! Let this be the beginning of a long, brutal nasty, underhanded battle for the soul (if they have one) of the lunatic fringe of the Democrat party, otherwise known as their base.

If a man is not a socialist by the time he is 20, he has no heart. If he is not a conservative by the time he is 40, he has no brain.

I would disagree with the first point, but wholeheartedly embrace the second...

I think Warren has already burned her bridges with Wall Street, more proof, if any were needed, that she's a nitwit.

Biden, by far. He'd just do his avuncular old man shtick, which would insulate him against a lot of stuff by not taking the whole thing seriously. Recall how easily he handled Ryan by doing that.

Warren is much too brittle and high-strung to do that, and she's not a good politician. Trump would easily outmaneuver her, as he did on the DNA thing. She's likes to lecture everyone pointing at them with her finger, and would probably come unglued after a few Trump zingers.

Buttplug is vulnerable for being a failed mayor of a small unimportant town. He should vulnerable for being a fruit, but Trump would and should pass over that unremarked.

Sanders has many of the same problems as Warren: a tendency to lecture, compounded in his case by his predilection for playing the invisible vertical piano, and of course the thick Brooklyn accent.

I have to respectfully disagree. If Graham were merely to scotch the whole thing out of hand, the Reds would have a propaganda field day. That is the best scenario for them. "What are the Republicans afraid of? What are they hiding?"

Hearing out the Dems' case - preferably on national television - would make clear to any open-minded observer that they're pretty much just whacking off, out of purely partisan pique, and wasting everyone's time in the process.

I've got a fair amount of Scotch-Irish in me and as it turns out when I did the DNA test I do have some Irish, they did intermarry some. But basically the term refers to those of Scot descent who lived in Northern Ireland for generations and then many immigrated to the US.
