The Morning Report - 10/15/19

enemaschif.jpg

Good morning kids. Tuesday and the beat goes on. In the lead we have the real reason why Ukraine is being flung at President Trump. Not only is the Democrat-Media Complex attempting to protect Joe Bidet and his son but more accurately, to protect several other key Democrats who are up to their necks in corruption and graft involving that country.

...Sen. Ed Markey was the Senate sponsor of the Green New Deal! He wants to shut down gas production in America. Yet he personally intervened with the Obama administration to send your tax dollars to boost Ukraine's gas production. And not just once...

...It got almost no attention, but in May [2018], CNN reported that Sens. Robert Menendez (D-N.J.), Richard J. Durbin (D-Ill.) and Patrick J. Leahy (D-Vt.) wrote a letter to Ukraine's prosecutor general, Yuriy Lutsenko, expressing concern at the closing of four investigations they said were critical to the Mueller probe. In the letter, they implied that their support for U.S. assistance to Ukraine was at stake...

Like I always say, nice work if you can get it. Meanwhile, the utterly disgusting spectacle of impeachment based on the lie that the President committed the crimes that actual Democrats committed continues. These people really are now shamelessly drunk on power and have long ago abandoned even the illusion of propriety and the barest minimum of fealty to the Constitution. Case in point was yesterday's removal of GOP Congressman Matt Gaetz from an impeachment deposition at the behest of Schiff-for-brains. Somewhere in the depths of Hell, Lavrenty Beria and Roland Freisler are beaming with pride at the bug-eyed dweeb. Ol' Yeller Levin, as usual, is dead right on this travesty while Schiff-for-Brains continues spouting bald-faced lies about Trump's phone call with Ukie prexy Zelensky, and to round it up, the question that essentially I just answered up top.

On top of all of this, we are still expecting the report from the DoJ about FISA abuse and the Steele dossier that got all of this crap going in the first place. And that, like all the rest of it, points directly at Clinton, Obama and the corrupt national security and law enforcement agencies that they used against a political opponent.

They are not going to impeach Donald Trump. What they are desperate to do is to smear him to such an extent as to make the public be in favor of it, and more crucially, give enough GOP Senators cover to vote to convict and remove him. So far, every smear has exploded in their faces and spectacularly so. They're a one-note joke with all of this and for the next 13 months it will just be more of the same. Whatever happens, this really is the bitter end of America, even after Trump departs on January 20th, 2025 (please G-d).

Anyway, links from around the world, across the nation and up your street. Have a better one and remain blessed.

14 So now the IG report is not being released on the 18th but the end of the month now.

Here we go, same bullshit, different IG report.

So now it's effectively being released in November.

So that pretty much cements the fact that there can be no trials of the coup plotters until after the 2020 election.

That is if anyone actually gets indicted, and looking at what has transpired for the last 3 years, nobody is going to be indicted.

This is all absurdly ridiculous.

And now I blame Trump for this situation, I understand he' in a tough spot but he's been getting incredibly bad advice.

And this is no longer simply about him and his survival it's about the constitutional order, fairness and equity in justice and not living in a country where one party and Deep State operatives can use the LE and IC tools against conservative political candidates or outsiders to destroy them and advance the agenda of the Donks, Deep State and the globalists that run the world.

33 Geez, what a depressing pile of crap going on in this country. We are witnessing the dissolution of America right before our eyes. Sacred institutions, which it can already be argued had been unraveling over the last few decades, are disintegrating and frankly, irreparable at this point. Our nation's fabric is ripped at the seams from every direction imaginable. Half of the people who call themselves Americans are either insane, hopelessly ignorant and deluded, or supremely gullible. I truly never thought I'd see the day where I'd no longer feel that America wasn't America. This is not America any longer. It's horrifying to witness.

39 @24

I know a great many things, one of the things I know is that Trump ordered the release of all of the classified information that the GOP lead congress was requesting while they were looking into the origins of the Russia Hoax.

So far Barr has released none of it.

All of the information that has been released so far has either been through FOIA requests by JW and others or by the Deep State in order to get ahead of FOIA requests or shape media narratives.

I know generally how long it takes from IG report drop for the DOJ to "investigate" and then issue a Declination to Prosecute, 8 -13 months.

I know generally how long it takes from indictment to trial for trials of this magnitude to begin, 10-12 months.

I also know we are running out of time to hold the coup plotters to account for their crimes.

I know more, I will explicate as needed.

This !

I honestly believe that PDT is enough of a game-changer that a candidate who was out front about being 100% behind the president would have a fighting chance just about anywhere in the country.

It'll never be tried, of course, the parties being as they are, but that seems, to me, the only alternative to staying on the slippery and accelerating course of decline we are on.

SAD !

CNN commentator Mary Katharine Ham, conservative commentator Ben Shapiro, AEI fellow and former Washington Free Beacon editor Matt Continetti, Town Hall editor and Fox News contributor Guy Benson, and Media Research Center founder Brent Bozell have also attended the dinners, according to the person familiar with the gatherings. Washington Examiner chief political correspondent and Fox News contributor Byron York also confirmed his attendance but declined to disclose the contents of the dinner because there was a prior agreement that it was off-the-record.

A spokesman for [Sen. Lindsay] Graham confirmed that the South Carolina senator has spoken with Zuckerberg. Carlson, Continetti, Benson, Bozell and Hewitt declined to comment. Ham and Shapiro did not respond to requests for comment.

144 Shorter Hunter Biden: I regret that Trump noticed my grift and was vulgar enough to mention it.

Biden said that he had no regrets about joining Burisma, only that he did not foresee the potential political fallout of the move.

"I regret not taking into account that there would be a Rudy Giuliani and a president of the United States that would be listening to this ridiculous conspiracy idea which has again been completely debunked by everyone," he said.

Pressed by ABC's Amy Robach about whether he should have anticipated the political storm now swirling, Biden got more defensive.

"You know what, I'm a human and you know what, did I make a mistake?" he asked. "Well maybe in the grand scheme of things. But did I make a mistake based upon some ethical lapse? Absolutely not."

Hunter created his company with Kerry's stepson and Whitey Bulger's nephew on order to take advantage of their respective family member's political connections. It's not like they had some random business and pops steered a client their way. They're adults and they knew what they were doing.

If one is to pity Hunter, pity that he's the only one currently having to defend himself for doing what every other connected kin of a Congressman's. etc. has been doing for years, generations. It ALL stinks, and I hope that after the heat on Hunter ends it is directed at his business partners, Pelosi's son, Difi's husband, and so on.

This is why the GOP is completely and utterly useless.

The Donks more than anything else are advancing a narrative.

The GOP holds the Senate, why can't they be holding hearings to advance a counter narrative?

Oh I don't know, maybe Lindsey Graham can convene a hearing in the Senate and have the DOJ come in and talk about having reviewed investigated the "Whistle Blower" complaint we found that it had no merit.

He also made noises about subpoenaing the "Whistle Blower."

Why hasn't he done that already?

Among other things the GOP could be doing to advance a counter narrative.

But no Lindsey Graham is more concerned about troop withdrawals in Syria.

238 IF this is all about the FISA report, then they must have pulled whatever they had that was the most damaging to Trump that they could use.

A "whistleblower" implying quid pro quo corruption against Trump in an effort to take down the frontrunner for the Democratic nomination is pretty bad.

And then Trump blew it up.

So, that was probably the best they had. The worst thing Trump's done that they have any knowledge of.

A lot of Dems are no doubt still expecting to mine political gold from PDT's tax returns. Maybe they'll hold off on a House impeachment vote until they can legally look at those. But I think it's a safe assumption that if there are any tax code violations in them, they'd already know it from leakers and be using it.

If the Dems think they can politically cripple PDT with his base and a bulk of independents by claiming he paid less tax than he could have, or is not as wealthy as he claims, they will be very disappointed.

246 As I said on the ONT, they are trying to head off a race riot. But it is not going to work. And maybe they deserve one for hiring such stupid people and giving them a gun.
_______________

Yeah, I don't get why these cops don't use common sense in these situations. I understand they're walking into a situation where they don't know what's going on -- is it a burglary in progress, is the homeowner just taking a trip and packing up their car for an early start, etc. It's scary not to know, but that's the job they signed up for.

Before you start shooting at people, you need to figure out who the people are you're shooting at. You can't just shoot because you're scared. That's what that Somali cop in MN did, and an innocent woman ended up dead because of it. Now we have another innocent woman dead because a scared cop didn't take the time to figure out whether there was actually any danger before he started shooting.

I don't know if these police forces are not training their cops properly, or if they're just hiring people who are temperamentally unsuited to be cops (although I have a feeling we know that's what happened, and why, in the MN case), but they really need to take a hard look at this.

Yeah, I cannot imagine that Democrats don't already have the returns. 261 For the poster way up there regarding taxation of churches. One of the main issues in England before their civil war in the mid 1600's was over the official church of England. Catholics wanted their church reestablished as before Henry VIII, the new aristocracy wanted it kept as the Church of England (Anglican Church), and other "Dissenters" such as Anabaptists, Society of Friends (Quakers), and later the Methodist faith. Scotland had the Presbyterian faith to protect after the Union in 1707.

The gist of it is that other religious faiths, other than the official religion of the state, were taxed to support the official faith and were generally harassed, interfered with, barred from serving as govt officials, etc. with establishing new churches, proselytizing, discouraged, etc. by state actions.

The British had quite a few of the "Dissenters" found colonies in the New World to the relief of British officials at the time--but, several of these colonies created their own established state churches and promptly did the same sort of taxes, harassment, etc. to other sects that was done to them in England.

The 1st Amendment's free exercise of religion and the establishment clause (along with no religious tests for public offices) were designed to prevent the national government from engaging in such activities to favor one sect over another. Gradually, due to electoral pressures, those states still having established churches gave them up over time along with the state funding and taxes that benefited them.

McCulloch which is not a religious liberty case had Justice Marshall opine that the power to tax is the power to destroy where he argued that a Maryland tax on the Bank of the U.S. was designed to destroy the institution. Thus, states cannot tax federal government agencies or actions and the federal government may not do the same to states.

Even today, zoning, local property taxes, property use, etc. are controversial as are school vouchers that can be used at religious schools. At the federal level, if churches were to be taxed on income then all non-profits would have to be taxed as well--the free exercise clause generally bars treating churches any different than any other sort of non-profit activity. The federal government is not allowed viewpoint discrimination when handing out tax exemptions but the quid pro quo is that these organizations cannot engage in politics (due to the Johnson rule) or risk losing their tax exemption.

Then, we met Bolton at an event here. He's a friend of a friend, and I asked him if he might get a position in Trump's WH, and he just smiled. A week later he did, and we know how THAT turned out.

Ugh.

That is exactly one of the things they got Cohen and Manefort on.

Falsifying loan applications and misreporting, essentially committing back fraud.

And Cohen when he was composing for Mueller and the SDNY said Trump mokeyed around with the valuations of his properties higher valuations to get more loan capital and lower valuations for insurance purposes.

Look I;m confident to a high degree of certainty that 99 pct of business is operated in this manner and if you gave them the proctological exam Trump is getting, virtually all businessmen would be in jail.

343 I never had Texas history. What are good books on the subject?

Posted by: rhennigantx at October 15, 2019 08:24 AM (JFO2v)

Probably the best one I've ever read was "The Lone Star" by T.R. Fehrenbach. I'm sure its no longer in print, but if you look around you can probably find a used copy somewhere. Excellent history of the state.

One thing I learned in detail was that despite all the mewling from the La Raza assholes about doing the "reconquista" thing on Texas, the fact is Texas was never Mexico's to lose. It was Spain, not Mexico, that controlled the territory for a long time. Only problem was, it was so hard living here that except for right along the Rio Grande, and the area around what is now San Antonio (when San Antonio was just a tiny village), every single settlement Spain set iup in Texas died out to the last man, woman and child due to disease, starvation and marauding Indians.

But they still needed warm bodies living on the land, lest some other empire (Britain, France, etc) would likely come along and take it away from them.

And Spain could not get any of their Mexican subjects to settle here. They (the Mexicans) were scared to death of the place and flatly refused to move here. And that is why Spain ended up cutting the deal they did with Moses and Stephen F. Austin to bring in American settlers, which they did and were in the main successful.

Yes, Mexico got the papers, so to speak, on Texas when they ran the Spaniards off, but by then it had already been settled by the e-vil gringos. And the rest, as they say, is history.

The Uighurs, people in Hong Kong (and Taiwan), and Chinese being sent to prison for thought crimes mean as much to NBA owners, coaches, and players as do the bugs they squash while driving to the arenas. And racism plays a part in it. The NBA and the shoe companies will gladly take money from Asians, but let their sons or daughters marry one? Not if they can stop it.

She made a furtive movement, no, wait, she reached for something, no, wait, she took a fighting stance, no, wait, she walked with a purpose, no, wait, she might've owned a dog. Cop got to go home, that's all that matters. Good shoot.

371 And Spain could not get any of their Mexican subjects to settle here.

Posted by: The Oort Cloud, Source of all SMODs at October 15, 2019 09:21 AM (p0pYQ)

Even then, the Mexican government that Austin and Co. struck deals with was a Federal Republic, not unlike the USA, which made promises to respect their liberty.

Those promises went out the window after Santa Ana's coup. The settlers were outraged. Santa Ana responded to the outrage with military patrols. After several incidents of violence brought on by his heavy-handed approach, the Texas garrison decided to take back a cannon lent to the town of Gonzalez for self-defense against native raids...

Hence the first flag of the Texas revolution, a cannon with a star under it, and the challenge "Come and take it."

373 359 The Uighurs, people in Hong Kong (and Taiwan), and Chinese being sent to prison for thought crimes mean as much to NBA owners, coaches, and players as do the bugs they squash while driving to the arenas. And racism plays a part in it. The NBA and the shoe companies will gladly take money from Asians, but let their sons or daughters marry one? Not if they can stop it.

In general, I would say that it's perfectly valid for American citizens to not care very much about how the Chinese government is treating its Muslim citizens.

The problem is that the NBA is as much in China as it is in America, so an outspoken NBA player who screams about the injustices of America who then goes curiously quiet about Chinese injustices stands out really sorely. I mean, it's not a foreign matter anymore to them. They have business ties in China. They go to China to play pre-season games. They have factories. They show the games there.

Give me a sport that embraces the fact that it's just a game like baseball. A strike zone? 4 balls and 3 strikes? Running around a diamond to get home? It's completely arbitrary and the sport embraces that.

The decision to hang tits on the bull with Breast Cancer Awareness told you everything wrong with the NFL. Football is a manly game not a transvestite game.
