Report: Chris Wallace, Martha MacCallum Mocked Trump at Meeting With Advertisers

"'Contrary to the opinion of some people, he’s not our boss,' Ms. MacCallum said, marveling at Mr. Trump's criticism of Fox News for airing interviews with Democratic presidential candidates. 'It is kind of shocking to hear that he really -- that's the way he thinks about how we should cover the election.'
Mr. Wallace joked about the president’s tendency to compare him unfavorably to his father, the '60 Minutes' legend Mike Wallace, who died in 2012. ‘He often likes to say about me, 'You know, I was covered by Mike Wallace, I liked him much more,'" Mr. Wallace told the advertisers. 'To which my reaction is always: One of us has a daddy problem, and it’s not me.'"

3) Rispone (R) is a self-funder, who spent $11 million on the jungle primary. He can't be defined by an ad blitz.

4) AA turnout in LA was lackluster. Not elsewhere.

5) David Vitter is just a memory now. In 2015, he was the GOP's albatross.

I'm more worried about the KY gov election on Nov 3rd (I think) than I am about beating JBE in LA. Anyway, KY is a couple of weeks before LA, & Gov. Matt Bevins (R-inc) isn't very popular in KY. There has been very little polling in KY. I'm sure Trump will go to KY to campaign with Bevins.

Wallace came out the other day and said that the transcript of the call with Zelensky shows a quid pro quo. That's a lie. It's not a mischaracterization or an oopsie, it's a lie and a material one. And it's hardly the first time Wallace has been guilty of lying about Trump.

Acccthually, price of oil is not nearly as important today as it was in the olden days. We are so much more energy efficient that an increase in energy costs, while having some effect, isn't the giant effect it was in the 70s or 80s.

In fact, given how much oil (and gas) is produced domestically, if oil falls too much, it hurts us more than helps. The reason Obama only had an anemic economy, and not a depression, is because of oil jobs.
