THE QUOTES OF THE DAY

Quote I

"Our nation faces an epidemic of child sexual abuse, with the Internet making it too easy for predators to communicate with children across the country," "The Justice Department is committed to working with federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies to prosecute child sexual abuse aggressively." United States Attorney Matthew D. Krueger

Quote II

“DiAngelo is an academic who claims all white people, including herself, are inherently racist. Claiming you’re not racist makes you a racist, or so she contends. And white people suffer from what she terms ‘white fragility’—an unwillingness to admit and talk about their own intolerance,” Wayne Hoffman

Quote III

"We are in the fight of our lives. Everything is on the table in 2020. They think so too, because they think that if they lose in 2020 that they are — they're going to have to — the rules are going to be fair and they'll never win again. And they're right. If we win in 2020, they are done forever.

But it's scary for us, too, because if they win, literally it could be the end of the world." Tom Steyer

Quote IV

I have to sign letters, it’s the hardest thing I have to do. I sign letters, “Dear Mr. and Mrs. Smith from Arkansas. Dear Mr. and Mrs. Jones from Alabama. Dear Mr. and Mrs. Somebody from some great state, I’m sorry to inform you, your son has been killed in combat. I’m so sorry.” And every letter is individually done because sometimes the parents, they’re grieving, and they get together with other parents, and I don’t want to see that it’s like the same letter. So we do different letters. It’s the hardest thing I have to do. Hardest thing. It’s the hardest thing I have … I was telling Tom Cotton, it’s the hardest thing that I have to do. And I sign those letters, and it just, it breaks your heart. POTUS Donald J. Trump

Damned if you do. Damned if you don't. California's governor Newsom wants PG&E to refund customers whose power was cut.

Pacific Gas & Electric should give rebates or credits to each of its nearly 800,000 customers affected by last week's power shutoffs, California Gov. Gavin Newsom said, demanding that the utility "be held accountable."

The utility intentionally cut power to almost 800,000 customers in Northern California last week in an effort to prevent downed utility lines and equipment from causing wildfires amid dry and windy conditions. Some customers were without power for days.
Newsom is urging PG&E to give credits or rebates of $100 to each residential customer and $250 to small businesses as "some compensation for their hardships," a release from the governor's office said Monday.
"Californians should not pay the price for decades of PG&E's greed and neglect," Newsom said in the release. "PG&E's mismanagement of the power shutoffs experienced last week was unacceptable."

Greed and neglect? That's f*cking rich.

Spartacus rips Liberace.

Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) criticized his Democratic primary rival, South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg, on Monday after Buttigieg referred to a federally mandated gun buyback program as a form of “confiscation.”

“Calling buyback programs ‘confiscation’ is doing the NRA’s work for them, [Buttigieg] — and they don’t need our help,” Booker said, referring to the pro-Second Amendment organization, the National Rifle Association (NRA).

Previously we covered an unusual death in the Genius Award. That death has led to an unusual lawsuit. Discovery is going to be "interesting" to say the least.

A mother is suing her son’s boyfriends after he died when she says they forced him to inflate his testicles to the size of a basketball.

Tank Hafertepen, 28, died in 2018 as a result of a pulmonary embolism.

His mum Linda Chapman says that his ‘master’ Dylan Hafertepen and his four ‘pups’ Daniel Balderas Hafertepen, Charles Osborn, Matthew Scott, and Philip Myers humiliated Tank into injecting himself.

He first pumped silicone into his scrotum in 2014 as part of the ‘cult’ scene in Seattle after emigrating from Australia.

Mrs Chapman’s law suit claims that Dylan required his followers to have large scrotums and many pictures on social media accounts show the extreme body modifications.

There are a couple of "Skippers" among us. If you're looking for a boat, here is one that should make you the talk of the marina.

Paul Allen's 414-foot superyacht is for sale for $325 million. Take a look at the late Microsoft cofounder's yacht, which has 2 helipads and a glass-bottomed underwater lounge.

Napoleon Alphonseau Chagnon, RIP. Who was Napoleon Chagnon? Hell of an interesting anthropologist.

Chagnon, who passed away last week, has been remembered as one of the last titans of anthropology, and perhaps the last ethnographer in the vein of Mead and Malinowski to go deep into a remote part of the world and live among a relatively un-acculturated and unstudied people. The research he conducted there would inspire millions to take an interest in the world’s traditional cultures and the field of cultural anthropology. Dripping in perspiration, his hands and face swollen by stinging insects, Chagnon disembarked at a remote Venezuelan village along a piranha-infested river deep in the Amazonian interior in 1964. Stepping out of his aluminum rowboat, he was immediately nauseated by the smell of decaying vegetable matter and feces. He pushed his way through a wall of leaves and stepped into the open: “I saw a dozen burly, naked, sweaty, hideous men nervously staring at us down the shaft of their drawn arrows!” The Yanomamö people lived with the ever-present threat of violence from raiding villages, and from his very first encounter with them, Chagnon understood the paranoia that consequently pervaded their everyday life.

A longer read but quite interesting.

Who knew? One's declaration of wanting people free is an uneducated statement.

NBA star LeBron James called Daryl Morey (the general manager of the Houston Rockets) uneducated for supporting the pro-democracy activists in Hong Kong, who are protesting China’s oppressive communist regime.

LeBron said Morey was not “educated on the situation” before tweeting his support for the protesters.

James then appeared to side with China in its ongoing efforts to censor the protesters and silence anyone in the NBA who criticizes the authoritarian government.

LeBron made the shocking statements yesterday (Oct. 14) before the Los Angeles Lakers played the Golden State Warriors.

Freedom of speech and freedom to parent are under major assault in Canada. If you were anything like me, it was your very own driver's license. We are entering different times.

That seems to be the future and it’s not far off. The first generation of Americans who largely will never have or need a driver’s license is likely being born right now. They will live in a world where the ability to drive a car or truck is an oddity, a relic from a time they only see in classic films and television shows.

So is this a good thing? It’s obviously a case of cultural evolution happening at an accelerated pace, particularly in a country like the United States where “car culture” has been part of our makeup for over a century. But like any other form of evolution, it comes at a cost. We will have a country full of people who no longer possess the skill to drive a vehicle. And most likely, roadways full of vehicles that eventually won’t even have steering wheels or pedals allowing a human being to operate them.

How does one wind down if a 2nd grade teacher? Physical exercise? Yes. Cooking? I could see that. Vodka? Perhaps understandable. Valium use? Well if you don't mix with vodka. During class? Genius Award Winner.

A Queensland primary school teacher was so drunk she passed out in front of her grade-two students, in one of a string of incidents that exposed children to "considerable risk", the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal (QCAT) has found.

The tribunal recently handed down its findings against the former teacher.

The QCAT heard that on a morning in August 2016, the woman had taken several doses of Valium and drank vodka disguised in a water bottle while teaching science to grade-two students.

An ambulance was called after she fell unconscious at her desk.

10 There are measurable quantities of ethinyl-estradiol (EE2) [the stuff in birth control pills] in our drinking water.

Yeah I don't know how much that actually affects anyone (its measurable, but so is the level of arsenic), but it probably would be worth a study. That and the effects of so much soy in our food. I mean, its in practically everything.

Find pictures of her father. She has the same retarded-looking features that he does.

She is the child of actors, the grandchild of actors, and is simply playing a part laid out for her to play.

68 Open borders advocate and Trump-hater Sean Buchanan was killed last week by criminal illegal alien Ramirez Valiente.
Buchanan, a father of five, was killed when Valiente, who was driving without a license, swerved into his lane and killed him.
Sean Buchanan was a critic of President Trump and his immigration policies.
------------------------

Yeah, I read a couple of articles about this guy.

Buchanan went out of his way to keep the illegals here. Even the ones with previous felonies.

He was so pro-illegal alien that it qualifies him for a Darwin Award.

when I was a kid we had a merry-go-round that was nothing more than six steel spokes holding two concentric circles, the inner being a handlebar of sorts, the outer being where you sat. Placed on an asphalt playground. the protocol had six kids taking shifts inside the rings, pushing the contraption at full speed. the best part is that the more daring kids would hold onto the inner ring and kick their legs out. The g-force was enough that they would be parallel with the aforementioned asphalt pavement, hanging on with their hands.

I am so, so, so happy that I was a kid when I was.

"Climate change" prioritized and missionized in every federal department and agency including the military. Money down the drain, no one actually serving the public.

Taxes up.

Schools and colleges legally compelled to amp up the cram-down of lefty ideas, affirmative action expanded.

Just tons of bullshit everywhere. Power outages, price hikes, gas sky-high expensive, manufacturing all overseas, empty store fronts, Dustbowl-style people up and bailing wherever they are to go someplace better, cops so busy they won't bother with anything less than a multi-victim shooting, no one can build a house or start a business because of insane regulations, a new Hayes Code for political correctness, on and on.

For awhile he was dating a rich woman who preferred limoncello.

The sugar was too much. It was the only time in living memory I've thrown up from heavy drinking. And I threw up fantastically. All over the fancy kitchen her millionaire dad bought for her.

It was embarrassing for him, and enraging for her, and funny for me. Mostly because I didn't like her.

Posted by: Yudhishthira's Dice at October 15, 2019 11:03 PM (5aX2M)

269 Ben Had, do you make your own limoncello?

There are several ways you could go with it. Off the top of my head, you could go sweet dessert style shot/martini by mimicking some flavor profiles like a lemon meringue pie style drink.

It could be worked into a cocktail as a replacement for sour mix.

You could pair it with a Prosecco and maybe a few other additions in French 75 type sparkling wine cocktail.

A lemon bar type of cocktail might be nice.

Honey and lemon are best buddies, so I could probably work something up with Jack Honey.

I could probably work it into an "Orange Man Bad" cocktail with some Solerno.

The possibilities are limitless!

276 yes, ARC of history, and according to this audio book about the Specter of Communism, isolating each of us and dividing us from our families is another way of destroying western culture.

There was a very revealing article in the Berkeley-based East Bay Express a while ago, where a housing "activist" admitted that the whole point of forcing people out of cars and into apartment buildings was to be able to enforce collectivism, without the serfs being able to do anything about it.

This "activist" is a self-admitted Communist transgendered individual, and so of course has a significant influence on East Bay housing policy, because California.

After he finally got his "gender reassignment" surgery, he admitted that he had a nervous breakdown, and fled back to the Midwest to do drugs for a few months.

Unfortunately, he's back in California, and back having a significant influence on local housing policy.

The sugar was too much. It was the only time in living memory I've

It was embarrassing for him, and enraging for her, and funny for me. Mostly because I didn't like her.

Posted by: Yudhishthira's Dice at October 15, 2019 11:03 PM (5aX2M)

The only really good limoncello I have had was in Southern Italy. It either doesn't travel well or they don't let the good stuff out. I am sure there are exceptions though. I tried making it here but you have to have the Italian lemons; they are a completely different from what we get here. It is as if they are bred to produce that rind, which is what you need for Limoncello.

When you speak about getting sick on sugar it reminds me of the great book The Sun Also Rises. Hemingway talked about going to this bar and drinking three cordials, then another and drinking a few more and so on. The alcohol intake was impressive to say the least but the sugar consumption was off the charts.

323 You just weren't free to tell lies. As adjudged by, inter alia, Angela Davis.

Soviet law under Stalin, where Article 125 of the Stalin Constitution guaranteed "freedom of speech":

Watching this Democrat Party Debate, what comes to mind is the CPUSA 42 stated goals. It was read into the Congressional record on Jan 10, 1963.

https://tinyurl.com/y9pgnjdm

That was 56 years ago. Compare to tonight's debate, not a lot has changed.

Items 1-14 concerned enhancing the position of the USSR and other Communist nations. Here's the domestic agenda:

15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.

16. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights.

17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers, associations. Put the party line in textbooks.

18. Gain control of all student newspapers.

19. Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack.

20. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policy-making positions.

21. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures.

22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms.

23. Control art critics and directors of art museums.
Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art.

24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them censorship and a violation of free speech and free press.

25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.

26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as normal, natural, healthy.

27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with social religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity which does not need a religious crutch.

28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of separation of church and state.

29. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.

30. Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the
common man.

31. Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of the big picture. Give more emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took over.

32. Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture, education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc.

33. Eliminate all laws or procedures which interfere with the operation of the Communist apparatus.

34. Eliminate the House Committee on Un-American Activities.

35. Discredit and eventually dismantle the FBI.

36. Infiltrate and gain control of more unions.

37. Infiltrate and gain control of big business.

38. Transfer some of the powers of arrest from the police to social agencies. Treat all behavioral problems as psychiatric disorders which no one but psychiatrists can understand [or treat].

39. Dominate the psychiatric profession and use mental health laws as a means of gaining coercive control over those who oppose Communist goals.

40. Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce.

41. Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents. Attribute prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to suppressive influence of parents.

42. Create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate aspects of the American tradition; that students and special-interest groups should rise up and use united force to solve economic, political or social problems.

43. Overthrow all colonial governments before native populations are ready for self-government.

44. Internationalize the Panama Canal.

45. Repeal the Connally reservation so the United States cannot prevent the World Court from seizing jurisdiction [over domestic problems. Give the World Court jurisdiction] over nations and individuals alike.

400 The last time a DC baseball team went to the World Series....1924

Grace Coolidge was a ferocious baseball fan; probably the most devoted fan who has ever lived in the WH (Silent Cal enjoyed going to baseball games but wasn't as enthusiastic as his FLOTUS). After the Coolidges went back to Northampton, she switched her loyalty from the Senators to the Red Sox. When she died, her son said the attic of the Coolidges' house was stuffed to the rafters with Red Sox memorabilia.

-------

This is the goal that burns me.

I prize beautiful things. I once accidentally smashed a small sculpture at an art show as a small boy. I had the closest thing to a heart attack a small boy can have.

The artist was there and when he saw me nearly pass out, he comforted me and laughed me all the way out.

It stuck with me for life.

Communists do this purposefully.

When I see heinous, debasing artistic atrocities it freaks me out.

It's why my nastiest, most aggressive comments are on the art threads.

Making other last minute preparations, not the least of which will be "which guns" to bring, and how much ammo, too.

467 ..How is 500 yard target?

Posted by: Yo! at October 16, 2019 12:01 AM (KU8BG)

Ten inch diameter AR-500 steel disk. At that distance, a .300 Win Mag will smash it hard and make it swing with aplomb.

But will also hardly leave a dent, much less pierce the thing.

Steel cored ammo being a "banned" thing at the 500 yard event, of course.

But let's put this into perspective.

Weasel has to be able to put five shots into a Five Inch Diameter circle, at twice the distance (1,000 yards), to even begin to be competitive in his sport.

Pro-Tip. He's a HOSS in his sport.

That's FOUR TIMES the difficulty of the Mo-Meet rifle training event that he's teaching. The "four times" being merely the pure math of the basic geometry.

Which fails to take into account all of the Black Arts of air temperature, humidity, variable winds downrange, Coriolis Effect, spin-drift and the like.

Yeah, his 1,000 yard targets are actually closer to TEN TIMES more difficult than the Mo Meet's 500 yard ringers.

Those of you signed up for the course have a Zen Master of the Art as your instructor.

I'm humbled to be afforded the privilege of helping him to coach the shooters on the line.

You'll notice that my "coaching" is limited to "the line". I can see, note and often, help correct "shooter's error" such as improper stance, posture, grip, check weld and etc. I can help a shooter improve his physical placement behind the scope so as to help reduce physical errors which can and do affect initial accuracy and follow-up consistency.

But I cannot and will not pretend to be able to teach the 500 yard shot, nor the external ballistics to go with it. I can sometimes make the shot, myself. With confidence.

Damned if I'm going to try to teach it though. No more than I would try to teach Nuclear Physics.

But I can build some nifty target frames to help Weasel get the knowledge across, with (hopefully) fewer frustrations and less lost-time than with a chain-suspended target rig.

We'll take pictures of 'em, especially if they work as intended. If they fail? We'll take MORE pics so you all can laugh at me loudly in subsequent ONTs.

I don't know how PG and E's power bills are structured, but I know my own have both a usage charge, and an infrastructure charge. The latter could be viewed as a promise by the utility to make the power available upon demand. If they cannot deliver, they should at least rebate X days' worth of the infrastructure charge.

494 If I had my way, ANY thing that flies on Jet-A would be fueled ONLY by means of bottom connecting, pressure pumped fueling apparatus.

You'll notice, jet airliners, corporate jets and such, have access panels UNDER the wings, for the ramp fueler to connect to such fittings, there.

Jet-A should NEVER be available to be pumped via "gas station" type pump handle.

Yet, a great many Jet Turbine aircraft (especially helicopters) can be fueled by such means.

Separate the Jet-A and Avgas fueling options by wildly divergent fueling connections, 100% across the board, and fueling errors become a thing of the past.

And I don't give a shit about Type Modifications, A/Ds and all of the other FAA argle-bargle.

Ten year lead time and window.

Get it done or get it grounded.

We've lost too damn many aircraft and WAY the too many SOULS, for such a simple error to remain uncorrected.

Bonus-Tip.

You can use a Pressure Pumped Jet-A connection on an upward facing fuel receptacle, with not much more to modify than the port itself, and a slightly larger venting line from the primary tank(s) manifold.

And if that's too expensive a solution for your Jet-A burning airplane? Then you weren't rich enough to BE operating a Jet-A burning airplane, in the first place.

Pressurized turbo-charged piston singles and twins, abound. They use Avgas.

If that pump handle choice is that important to you, well, seeya on the Avgas side of the FBO's ramp.

500 LeBron is a dumb f*cker.

Have you noticed how much the microphone ends up in front of the dumb f*ckers these days?

I have.

We are entering into an era of dumb f*ckers sitting around listening to dumb f*ckers with a microphone that are popular and nodding their heads in unison saying "Yes, popular dumb f*ckers spouting dumb f*cking dumb f*ck-shit proves that my own dumb f*cking ass is correct and that people that actually have read are the real dumb f*ckers."

Sometimes, as I guzzle down lite beer and survey the room, I think quietly to myself "Bitter, you are surrounded by dumb f*ckers and the world is just getting dumber." We are surrounded by retarded dumb-f*cks thinking and saying dumb-f*cking things. And then I see some ostrich-necked millennial passing off his dumb-f*cking opinion as some sort of wisdom to another even dumber-f*cker and I think "I could just reach over and punch that retarded prick right in his skinny throat and just end him. Perhaps it would be best for the betterment of humanity, and they would give me an award. Bitter, Dumbf*ck Slayer, recipient of the Nobel Dumbf'*ck Elimination Award".

It would be like finding a cure for societal cancer and with each dumb f*cker whose wind pipe I collapsed, I would save the world the indignity of dealing with his dumbf*cking children that would grow up to be even dumber little bastard f*ckers.

But then I remember that those that off a dumb f*cker will face the Lord's wrath in the world to come and that the destruction of dumb-f*ckers is the province of the man upstairs. Plus, if I'm finally tire of dumb f*ckers and remove one, then I will go to jail and some dumb f*cker will be left to finish instilling knowledge and wisdom into my daughter and she might very well wind up a dumb f*ckette.

So I just order another lite beer and also a shot to wash the taste of disdain and misery out of my mouth and numb myself to the dumbf*ckery of the world.

I was sole passenger one time in a Cessna 185 that had zero hours on a rebuilt engine. Took off from Back Bay near Yellowknife (float base), climbed out OK, and as soon as the pilot throttled back from takeoff power, the engine began missing badly, but never quit. No power, of course. Then we saw gasoline streaming past the windows. Pilot killed the engine, made a steep diving U-turn, glided back towards the base, then a more gentle U-turn, and made a dead-stick landing upwind on the bay.

We sat for half an hour with the aircraft doors open, as the wind slowly blew us back towards the base, which then sent out a boat to tow us in. Mechanic was summoned; turned out the flare nuts on the fuel injection lines had not been tightened sufficiently. A few tweaks with the wrench, and all was good.

Next takeoff went very smoothly, indeed, and the engine ran fine.

Point being: zero time on an engine means it hasn't yet been proven to work.

There a zillion lakes up there, which why they fly floats so much. Of course, in this case he wasn't at cruising altitude yet, so the choice was smaller, and home base was still in sight. Pilot definitely earned his keep that day. And the fact that he was so cool and professional was a big factor in me electing to resume the trip once the engine had been fixed.

But three zero-time engines on the Nine-Oh-Nine? that sort of screams common-mode failure, doesn't it?

Posted by: Alberta Oil Peon at October 16, 2019 01:04 AM (QugKX)

517 Back in the early '80s, I was working on top of a 6th story roof, just barely 1/2 mile away from the (prevailing winds) takeoff end of the primary runway at San Antonio International Airport.

A plane on takeoff, a SAAB 340, close as I can recall, lost an engine about halfway to he building I was on. As he passed overhead, the prop was just then slowing it's revolutions upon being fully feathered.

The pilot continued the climbout till about 1,000 ft. agl, and make the prettiest 270 degree turn to a very smooth descent and landing on the crosswind runway.

He actually got there just as the very first airport F.D. units were closing in on the nearest taxi-way.

Its a pity that this was before the digital/video era.

That was as nifty a bit of plane handling as the best of a Blue Angels demonstration.

100% under positive pilot control, from takeoff to Emergency Landing.

How much you wanna bet that said pilot was promoted from Puddle Jumpers to Real Jets, not long after?

That was one of the factors in that British Midlands crash, the crew never learned the few subtle changes Boeing slipped in so treated the engine shutdown like they were in an older model. Which meant they shut the good engine down while adjusting the throttle setting on the bad engine smoothed things out until it was too late and the engine blew up.

If three had zero since overhaul on takeoff that would have broken every tenet of flying and maintenance I have ever heard of. First, Radials of zero time are far less relaible as one that needed to be taken off for overhaul. You don't know what you've got till you've ground run it, leak checked it and flown that new one under power. Nobody in their right mind flys 3 fresh O/H's with zero time on one plane. And conversed with the Pilot in a language he understood.

I'm leaving a great deal out here, of course.

God FORBID I should ever have to land anything heavier than a big Cessna single in my own hands.

But put me in a full axis simulator, and I stand a fair chance of landing much in the B-737/Airbus 320 category.

In perfect, CAVU conditions. Without challenging winds.

On a war-surplus, former SAC runway.

Which are far longer and wider than the civilian norm.

You know how to tell I'm not a Pilot?

A bit out of love, and a bit out of spite, as he bought for me exactly jack and shit when I graduated High School in '76.

Point being, that when my Step Mom went in January of this year, that watch came into my hands.

I had to have a new movement put into it, but it is now my daily wear wristwatch.

A cherished connection, it is.

Kids look at it and marvel at such a small watch.

Which was a normal size thing, back in '82.

542 Part of the problem with the MAX is Boeing has started to shift to the Airbus way of thinking, i.e. we know better than the pilot. When the Shit Gets Real and pilots think they've taken full manual control they're almost right - the flight computer can still override them when it decides they're doing something dangerous.

Couple that with a faulty sensor confusing the computer and you have a crash.

546 The Germans in their Circus had one captured P-38 along with P-51s and P-47s. The Italians apparently fixed up a P-38 and made it flyable, then one of their pilots as the story goes went and shot down a couple B-17s.

557 Arguably the best pilot of WW II was Hans Ulrich Rudel, and he survived the war. From his wiki page:

He was credited with the destruction of 519 tanks, severely damaging the battleship Marat, as well as sinking a cruiser (incomplete and heavily damaged Petropavlovsk), a destroyer (Leningrad-class destroyer Minsk) and 70 landing craft. Rudel also claimed to have destroyed more than 800 vehicles of all types, over 150 artillery, anti-tank or anti-aircraft positions, 4 armored trains, as well as numerous bridges and supply lines. Rudel was also credited with 51 aerial victories, 42 of which were fighter aircraft and 7 Ilyushin Il-2s. He was shot down or forced to land 30 times due to anti-aircraft artillery, was wounded five times and rescued six stranded aircrew from enemy-held territory.

I wonder what exactly would be happening now if Hillary'd gotten elected.

Left-wing wackos on the Supreme Court.

JCPOA expanded and terror attacks funded and launched throughout Syria, Iraq, and Europe.

Military gutted and mishaps, plane crashes, shipwrecks, etc all over the place.

"Climate change" prioritized and missionized in every federal department and agency including the military. Money down the drain, no one actually serving the public.

Taxes up.

Schools and colleges legally compelled to amp up the cram-down of lefty ideas, affirmative action expanded.

9% unemployment.

Wide-open borders. Another 2 million Central Americans here, with us paying for ALL their support -- food, housing, clothing, meds, schooling, translation services.

Show up and vote. No ID required. No registration required.

China influence and open bullying on US campuses.

635 633 Fantastic comment flow on the debate thread. The horde outperformed the TV commentators, I do not doubt. The only problem is that one of those asshole totalitarians is going to become a major party nominee for President. That is scary as hell.

645 the stock/capital gains argument is not going to work for them imo. The election will be decided by wine moms and suburban soft Repubs. all of these people have at least IRA's and 401ks in the stock market. At best this rhetoric is treading water. They should be focusing on deplorables bad.

How about for decades of Democrat greed and graft?

My answer would be to simply shut down the company. Fire all the workers and dismantle the generation stations and the substations for scrap. They've already declared bankruptcy, so turn it all off and shut it all down.
