The mother of a student who was tackled by a football coach while running onto the field during a game earlier this month at Wilmot High School wants to see the coach fired, according to a report. The Kenosha News is reporting that Rebecca Langel would like the school to take action against the assistant coach who tackled her son after he and another student ran onto the field while the game was ongoing. Video of the incident, which was captured by a fan in attendance and shared on social media sites, including Barstool.com, shows the coach bringing down one student around his neck. The coach then dragged the student by his shirt for a few yards before escorting him over the bench area.Rebecca Langel should be ashamed of her son and her parenting skills. In response to Beto O’Rourke’s “Hell, yes, we're going to take your AR-15, your AK-47” threat, a Tempe, Arizona gun store owner ran a “Beto Specials” promotion the next morning – selling out of both types of rifles by that afternoon. When O’Rourke made the claim during Thursday night’s Democrat presidential candidate debate, Alpha Dog Firearms Owner Matt Boggs was outraged, he says in an interview with The HolloNet: “I saw the comments that he made, and I was kinda like, ‘You know what: the Hell with this guy.’” Boggs said O’Rourke’s made determined to sell more guns – even if it meant losing money on them. So, the next morning he announced his “Beto Specials” on AR15 and AK47 rifles on his store’s Facebook page: Beto O'Rourke said "hell yes we're taking your AR's". Well Beto, we're discounting AR15's to such a low price that EVERY AMERICAN can afford one. How about the low low price of just $349.99? Yeah, that works. Available online only. Go to www.alphadogfirearmsaz.com and look for all our AR15 and AK47 deals under the BETO SPECIALS tab. Deals and discounts will be added fresh all day! Alpha Dog Firearms was so overwhelmed with customers – selling 200 rifles in two hours – that Boggs had to post an afternoon update on Facebook: UPDATE: SOLD OUT. More deals will be on the website soon. Y'all broke our internet today!!! Boggs and Alpha Dog Firearms are no strangers to colorful promotions. On Sunday, Alpha Dog hosted an “Area 51 Invasion Training” event at a local shooting range. “Come out to the Alien Shoot,” Boggs says in a Facebook video live from the event.I was speaking with an acquaintance one evening last week. We ended up talking about the whack jobs running for president. My friend basically said this, "I have one AR-15. I'm going to go out and buy 2 or 3 more just to piss them off." I could have told you. And if you didn't believe me, you would have believed bluebell. Knives made of shit don't work. DUH. Discouraged by the current era of fake news and alternative facts, Eren was inspired to recreate the frozen fecal knife from Wade's famous account as a way to illustrate the importance of data and scientific testing. He and his colleague, Michelle Bebber, decided to use their own feces for the experiments, rather than foisting the burden on some lowly graduate student. For eight days, Eren followed a diet rich in meats and fats, typical of what an Arctic diet would be: beef, turkey, salmon, perch, meatballs, sausages, salami, eggs, and the like. "It was tougher than I thought having that much protein and so many fatty acids exclusively," he said. Meanwhile, Bebber kept to her typical Western diet as a control: yogurt, lentils and rice, cheeseburgers, bagels and cream cheese, spaghetti, and so forth. Then they each collected and froze their feces whenever they had bowel movements. "It's funny, because we've got this amazing lab," said Eren, but for that week, "I'm not in the lab—I'm in my house pooping in a bag, making knives out of my own feces. It was sort of depressing." The next generation of Wi-Fi has been trickling out over the past year, but this week, its launch is going to accelerate. The Wi-Fi Alliance, the organization that oversees implementation of the Wi-Fi standard, is launching its official Wi-Fi 6 certification program. That might sound boring, but it means the Wi-Fi 6 standard is truly ready to go, and tech companies will soon be able to advertise their products — mostly brand new ones — as certified to properly support Wi-Fi 6. Wi-Fi 6 includes a bunch of new technologies that combine together to make Wi-Fi more efficient. This is particularly important because of just how many devices we all have these days — it’s not unusual for a family to have a dozen or more gadgets all connected to a Wi-Fi network at once. “The home scenario today looks like the dense deployment of yesterday,” says Kevin Robinson, marketing leader for the Wi-Fi Alliance. Moar Central Control from our Comrade Bernie. Spend, spend and control, control, control. This time housing. Sen. Bernie Sanders (I–Vt.) has released an ambitious housing plan that stays true to the candidate's interventionist brand of democratic socialism. In a speech to trade union members in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Saturday, Sanders laid out his vision for tackling high housing costs, homelessness, and gentrification through a mix of nationwide rent control, increased federal spending on housing vouchers and public housing construction, and higher taxes on the wealthy. "I don't have to tell anyone in America that we have an affordable housing crisis in Nevada, in Vermont, and all over this country that must be addressed," Sanders said. "It is unacceptable to me that over 18 million families in America today are paying more than 50 percent of their limited incomes on housing." The most radical part of Sanders' plan is his call for a nationwide cap on rental prices above one and a half times the rate of inflation, or 3 percent, whichever is higher. Don't f*ck with Mother Nature. Gene altered mosquitoes prove that Man isn't so superior after all. On its surface, the plan was simple: gene-hack mosquitoes so their offspring immediately die, mix them with disease-spreading bugs in the wild, and watch the population drop off. Unfortunately, that didn't quite pan out. What should be an outrage, unfortunately happens every day. Teen Who Shot Houston Cop Was Released Without Paying Bail After Carjacking The gunman who shot a Houston police officer multiple times during a violent crime spree on Sept. 12 had been released from jail on his own recognizance just days before the attack. Brandon Bell, 17, and two other teens were arrested for allegedly carjacking a woman at gunpoint at she was passing out campaign fliers on Sept. 2, KPRC reported. “‘Get out of the car,” he said, according to victim Tina Kingshill. “I got this gun and I will shoot you.” Bell also allegedly pointed the gun at another volunteer who was with Kingshill at the time. Parents are increasingly turning to third-party gadgets to keep track of their children’s whereabouts, and Australian creators are jumping on the bandwagon. Junior versions of smartwatches – scaled-down models of the all-in-one wristband favoured by many adults – are being fashioned for children, mostly with limited features that only exist for safety, rather than surfing the web. Some offer the full breadth of the internet, while others restrict a child’s access to the bare minimum, like phone calls to pre-programmed numbers. 'I can see paradise by the dashboard light'. Not one but two Genius Award Winners. FERNANDINA BEACH, Fla. - Deputies say a Florida couple arrested on suspicion of cycling under the influence on Friday the 13th didn't let that stop them from having sex in the back of a patrol car. This bizarre episode unfolded about 11:40 p.m. Friday night in Fernandina Beach, according to their arrest reports. A Nassau County deputy stopped the couple after they were nearly struck by a car they cut off while crossing South Fletcher Avenue. Smelling booze, the deputy placed both under arrest. Things took a sordid turn when the arresting deputy noticed the couple had shed their clothes and were starting to have sex in the back of his patrol car. When deputies opened the car door to intervene, the naked man knocked a deputy to the ground and took off running into the night. A daredevil climbed a 30-foot electricity pole before accidentally shocking himself and plummeting to the ground. Tyler Uher had been drinking before performing the high-risk stunt in front of a crowd of student outside a house party near Ohio University, Athens, on Friday night. Footage shows the raucous crowd of students cheering as they look up at the man perched at the top of an electricity pole. Expecting to find a vandal, this couple finds something completely different. Tonight's Feel Good Story of The Day. Great video. >> n addition, I do not take opiates and if I ever decide to use the xanax (and I may not) there will be no alcohol.
--------------- Xanax is a very good anti-anxiety drug, but that's what makes it so dangerous. It has a short half-life. It takes effect quickly, but then wears off quickly as well. That's what makes it so dangerous. Your brain builds tolerance to it with use, and that shifts the equilibrium to the "stimulated" side. Without the drug, you freak out, and you're dependent on it. Xanax is one of the easiest to do this with. It's very good for stopping panic attacks and calming the brain down, but very dangerous. travis4houston.com/our-vision-1 I pretty much called it. Fight Crime. All too often, our elected officials have mistaken policies that are hard on people for policies that are tough on crime. As a result, our city has sometimes accidentally encouraged crime instead of solving it. The best answers to crimes are the programs that prevent it in the first place: housing, education and healthcare. To meet those needs, we must re-examine our ordinances limiting opportunities for both people affected by crime and those who are coming out of the system seeking to rebuild their lives and contribute to our city. We must make decisions backed up by not only data, but also real conversations in our own neighborhoods about community policing and compassionate criminal justice reform that better honors our humanity I hate being right. I'm trying to think around the core of things that are wrong with the RuPaul quote.
In drag, we have a facade where we try to pass what we are at our core with makeup and dress--artificial appearance enhancements to target a look which is to represent whatever we are behind it, as who we are. We are not God. That is not our core. A segment of our core is an "image of God" a reflection of who and what God is. We are not specifically a weak reflection. We are blessed by God's choice to put a weak reflection of himself in what we are in particular. But the person in drag is either compelled to continue in drag, or he or she could perhaps choose to reject the trappings of drag to express themselves, choosing emancipation from expressing themselves as a sexual object of the opposite sex. It is to our benefit--as integral to who we are--that God has willed a separate expression. We do not have the Will of God in our power, but we can choose the will of God, just like we can choose to don or abandon the manufactured appearance. Alprazolam (Xanax) is nothing to get excited about, just read through the warnings in the paperwork and follow the instructions.
It's not like it's zolpidem. That one, you might have a magical reaction to without any warning, and your friends/family/neighbors will have some stories to tell you about your surreal adventures afterwards. Mind you, the government lists both the mildly addictive benzodiazepate (Xanax) and the GABA antagonist that has a fair number of the patients tripping balls (Ambien/zolpidem) as C-IV controlled drugs, so I can see where people would get worried. But one of these is not like the other. Posted by: Locarno at September 17, 2019 10:38 PM (3WLXg) 152

I'm glad that football coach clotheslined that kid.
You know, all the other kids on both teams have to go to practice, sacrifice time and energy and effort to get out on that field to play ball. Managers have to round up water bottles, gear and equipment. Band members have to practice and learn to play and march in time. And here shows up Twinkledick McJackass thinking he'll be a friggin' comedian and go interrupting what other people are doing so that he can be Captain Clown in front of the school. But f*ck him. Why should he get to twit around like a little fairy grabbing his limelight? He's done nothing to earn it. So yeah, you wanna be the Clown Fairy Princess there Twinkledick? Well the coach just helped you turn Clown Fairy Princess for the whole country. And somebody ought to slap Twinkledick's mom, defile her organic yogurt with veracity and wipe their junk off on her favorite throw-pillow. I took my first new [redacted] pill last nite, with side-effect: somnolence. Sure enough, even with TWO very LOUD alarms set, I overslept my colonoscopy appointment this AM. Very fortunately, they were able to reschedule me later in the AM. Teeny tiny new pill gives a huge buzz. I couldn't speak coherently for an hour after awakening. Or, merely less coherently than usual. Whatever.
Colonoscopist administered midazolam and fentanyl, which is _heavenly_. It's almost worth scheduling a colonoscopy just to get the high. Her Majesty had trouble with nausea, nerve pain and diverticulitis. I took her to the surgeon for her scheduled follow up yesterday and she was almost tearful in her misery (and she's one tough woman). The doctor adjusted, restarted and prescribed her medication and she had a much, much better day. Her pain went down and her appetite returned. The Lyrica makes her a little unsteady but that's a small price to pay. It's been a very hard recovery but her knee is doing remarkably well. Watched the next installment of the Country Music documentary tonight - again, very good, found out a lot I didn't know. We think we know history, but in fact *this* kind of thing meant a lot more to a lot of the people at the time than those big picture things we know about.
Tonight covered a lot, but the focus was Hank Williams. Hard to think of a life more talented and tragic than his - and when I look at his pictures, he always looks 20 years older than he was. He sang and wrote like he was about 100 years older than he was, I think. Posted by: Tom Servo at September 17, 2019 10:55 PM (V2Yro) 206

Soon I will kill something and eat it (probably will already be dead but I like the imagery), take 1 mg. of Ativan and sleep the night away. I have had a nightly 1 mg of Ativan to help me sleep for probably about three decades. And, the 3-4 oz of gin is pretty much part of the program. Works for me and I am 78 with no medical conditions and last night I got about 9 hours of sleep. Never, in all those years, have I wanted more than 1 mg. of Ativan. Moderation in all things works.

Mind you, the government lists both the mildly addictive benzodiazepate
(Xanax) and the GABA antagonist that has a fair number of the patients tripping balls (Ambien/zolpidem) as C-IV controlled drugs, so I can see where people would get worried. But one of these is not like the other. Wrong-ish. BOTH are highly psychologically addictive. Xanax in particular is notorious for the severe junkie like behaviors of those poor souls addicted to it; Ambien junkies show similar though lesser addictive behaviors at the risk of considerably higher rates of dissociation behaviors while under the influence. BOTH are dangerous, and should be removed from the market, albeit for slightly different but overlapping reasons. Other drugs in theor classes are problematic but these two are dangerous even when used correctly. I spent 6 months last year supervising the weaning off of 3000 THREE THOUSAND patients off these two meds. 3 fucking thousand. 50% managed, 50% went to the street for it or what they were told was the drug, or disappeared out of the system. Several died for various reasons. Get off these meds. DON'T just quit, get supervised weaning off over weeks to months. The longer you were on them the longer it takes the average person to come off. There are alternatives. The great anxiety patients feel at even discussing changing these meds is absolutely the addition speaking. Get help to get off. I had to ditch my gf, in part, because of her panic attacks (and other med complaints.) Problem was, she REFUSED to get treatment for all her anxiety, aches and pains, and she was going to put me in the poorhouse with ambulance and ER bills. If she won't help herself, I can't help her either. Her mom is the exact same way, so heredity.
She stopped getting Obamacare when Trump won because, she said, "Republicans will just take it away from me." TDS does real harm to people. During her last panic attack, she begged me to shoot her. I can't tell you how devastating it is to have somebody you love ask you to shoot them. It took a year off my life expectancy, and I had enough. They don't explain how that *answered* a question put to the witness by a Senator. And yet, not answering a question is "obstruction" according to Nads Nadless. We ate dinner on little flimsy folding TV tray tables, that would fall over in any breeze. Cronkite would never touch his food. TV would lose vertical sync all the time. Never changed the channel because we didn't want to get out of the chair, and besides, it was the same shit on every channel. I still know people who leave their TVs on all day long. Wlater Cronkite was good friends with the family across the street from my grandparents. Met him several times. Very pleasant. He was trusted implicitly by the Grands. Watched religiously. Heart of a ProgTard commie, feet of clay. Realizing as a teenager and young troop in the post-Nam era that everything ole Walt and Dan told me as a kid was not only wrong, but deliberately false, was I suppose the beginning of actual adulthood. KFC still pressure fries, although they've changed the method and use a lower pressure. Colonel Sanders did it to speed up cooking time, and thought it was as good if not better than the original 1-atm frying. It can also make tough chicken much more tender. His trick was to pre-pressurize the cookers with compressed air to get them up to operating pressure, rather than letting heat and water vapor do it. In elementary school, we watched the Mercury launches live. Janitor would wheel in a TV set on a gurney. TV would start losing vertical sync. Teacher (who didn't own a TV) wouldn't know what to do, so would start to try to find the janitor. All the kids put their hands up, because we knew how to stop the "rolling," but we weren't allowed to touch it.

Apparently, nobody makes a home pressure fryer. The only ones available are big expensive commercial units. Now, in Spain, they are very big on pressure cooking, and they do have home pressure fryers there. If you want to live dangerously, you can use a regular pressure cooker, but the seals are not rated for hot oil. The oil gets too hot, and the seals need to be able to handle it. But pressure frying makes for some mighty fine fried chicken. The higher pressure keeps more moisture in the meat, and makes for very crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside chicken. There was a big difference between doing something in mufti versus in uniform, as long as one did not claim to be a military representative. If caught saying crazy things dressed as a civilian, not sure much would have happened, other than the occurrence being associated with never getting a promotion ( up or out).

I was reading about pressure frying with a regular pressure cooker. Dangerous as hell -- Darwin Award territory if you don't know exactly what you're doing. The trick is not to use too much oil. You don't want frothy oil to hit the seals too much. If you do, it can spew, and then you're spewing hot oil right over a hot burner. All you need are seals that can handle hot oil temperatures. That's what Col. Sanders did. His first experiments were pretty dangerous, I was reading. But no risk, no gain. And he hit it big. My Blackberry shit the bed today. Kept shutting down the radio function in the middle of a call. So I bounce-tested it on the cement floor. That fixed it good. Next stop: on some rock in the desert, looking down the barrel of a Mosin Nagant.
So I called my cell provider. "Can you transfer my account to another phone?" We established that the old Verizon flip phone I have, whose battery is still up! could not be used because it does not accept a SIM card. But wait! My Canadian flip phone uses a SIM card, but those demented, worthless potlickers at Koodo have it locked. But by law, they have to unlock it for free. So I turn on the Koodo phone, thereby incurring the ten-dollar roaming charge, just to call Koodo. No live person to take the call. Try their website; most of it just comes up black screen for me, using Brave here. Finally get into Koodo's AI text chat. " I want to unlock my phone." "Sorry, I don't understand you." Back and forth like this for half an hour. "You can ask for a call back. Press this button to schedule a call-back" push button..."Select a call back time: tomorrow at 0600, tomorrow at 0630, tomorrow at 0700." "Right fucking now, asshole." Finally told the AI, "You are one fucking dumb bunny of an AI." And closed it down. Then I did a Web search for "Free unlock codes". Found a company that would do it for $7.99, which is less than a day's roaming charge. OK, I'll bite. Paid through PayPal, and that was a CF, as usual. Finally get a list of codes to try, six, in fact. Oh, I also had to find the "provider ID" of the phone, which they neglected to tell me at the outset. Sloppy, Fredo, sloppy. So I stuff the Ting SIM card into my Koodo phone, and it prompts me for an unlock code. Key in the first code, ignoring the hyphen in it, since the flip phone has no hyphen key. Doesn't work. Neither do the next 5. Send nasty e-mail to unlock code vendor, no response yet. Next step, I guess, is FBI: interstate fraud. Stick phone in pocket; drive to local Verizon store, about 5 minutes away. Can't unlock a Koodo phone, sorry. WalMart, across the street, sells no unlocked phones. "You might try Best Buy." Doofus' directions to Best Buy were wrong, but I managed to find it. They have unlocked phones; no flip phones. They a couple of el-cheapo smart phones, a Moto-something for $59, and a Nokia for $99. Both conveniently out of stock. Fuck. So, I guess I will look for a used phone. Craiglist has diddly squat; tried OfferUp. Several phones on OfferUp. Have to "join" OfferUp. Sign myself up. "We will text you a confirmation code to you phone." good luck with that, idiots. So I think I have sent a request to a guy in Mesa with a 25 dollar Blackberry. No response yet. Regarding the Democrats/Obama/Russian interference in the 2016 election, the Dems and Obama (and of course their toadies in the media) thought that the Russians were totally on the Dems side in the whole thing, and that the Russians would be meddling to help elect Mrs. Clinton. So of course Obama issued some sort of half hearted "cut it out" in a public statement.
After all, aren't they all on the same team? Didn't the Russians give $150 million to the Clinton Foundation? And a cool $500K to Billy Bob personally for a speech? Didn't Clinton Inc. give the Russians 20% of US uranium reserves? Since the Dems are now commies in all ways except officially, of course they thought the Russians were going to tip it in for their fellow commies in America. Obama even told the Russians he would have more "flexibility" here at home once the 2012 election was over. What a shock for the American commies to be double crossed by the Russian commies. There's a lot that's interesting in the Ken Burns "Country Music" doc, showing every night this week for two hours. Marty Stuart especially shines as his vast music history knowledge is on display. He's a charmer.
Tonight most of the last half hour was dedicated to the "Hillbilly Shakespeare". And even though I knew how his story would end, when Hank started wailing "Your Cheatin' Heart" over the photos from his funeral, I burst into tears. Thank you, Shopgirl. Dad is still Dad. Asks questions about the same things over and over. I have developed a few techniques to steer him off of said "obsessions", however.
I can steer him toward food if he starts to obsess. By simply asking him what he wants for dinner, it causes a short-circuit in the "Five Year-Old's" mentality and he leaves the question alone for a couple-a hours. He has low blood pressure, but he's eating voraciously. ...because Mom can't stop him and I know he needs to gain weight. ++ He's still "Dad", as of now, but that vanishes at times and will only get worse. *shrugs* That's what I'm here for. It was a really nice gun. A Sig P365XL. I didn't realize that there were two mags with it so I bought another one, a 15 round that sticks out of the bottom a bit. I probably won't use it now that I know there are two magazines with it...I mean, now that I've lost it in the river...

I was venting here a few weeks ago about our friend, who after her hip surgery today was NOT going to rehab, even though we knew she would not be able to recover at home. She, after a lot of discussion, finally said yes, she would go.
I took her to her early morning thrice weekly dialysis session yesterday. Came home got my wife up so we could go to my knee doc's appointment. Coming home she get's a call that the friend had a heart attack after dialysis and was taken to hospital. We drove to the hospital and was greeted by the chaplain. Oh Oh...not good news I think I was right. I think she was gone before she got to the hospital. I guess she showed us, she is NOT going to rehab dammit Posted by: Bruce at September 18, 2019 07:01 AM (vd8XM) 639

The 2019 Michigan MoMe is this weekend!!! Join us September 20 & 21 in the greater metropolitan area of Chelsea, Michigan for the festivities. Friday night, we dine in Hell. Literally. We'll be at the Hell Saloon in Hell, Michigan for dinner around 6:30-ish. After dinner, we'll return to the cabin campsite built on the cursed ancient Indian burial ground just down the road from the state prison for the criminally insane for ukulele practice. During the day on Saturday, we'll be hanging out at the cabin, whittling entire trees into toothpicks & just generally relaxing. The roundtable discussion topic this year is "IKEA Shelving: Threat or Menace?", followed by small unit tactics practice. Saturday evening we'll go in to town for diner at the BBQ joint around 4:30; after which we'll return to the campsite for a large thermal event & pants-less dancing to the finest ukulele band in all the land. Click the link in the sidebar (or in my nick) for more details.
