Leland Keyser, Who Blasey-Ford Claimed Was a Witness to Her Fabricated Assault, Finally Speaks About Ford's Accusation: "I don't have any confidence in the story."

Funny that the New York Times "reporters" who wrote up that silly accusation where the alleged victim denies the event chose not to publicize this bombshell.

Mollie Hemingway writes:

And then, just before the book ends, the reporters drop a bombshell:

>We spoke multiple times to Keyser, who also said that she didn’t recall that get-together or any others like it. In fact, she challenged Ford's accuracy. I don't have any confidence in the story."

This on-the-record quote is the first time that Keyser has spoken publicly about what was previously reported in detail in the new bestseller "Justice on Trial: The Kavanaugh Confirmation and the Future of the Supreme Court"...

The New York Times authors dismiss Keyser’s statement as the product of a bad memory, before noting that their unsuccessful efforts to corroborate Blasey Ford’s claims including desperately searching for a house that matched the description she gave. Nevertheless, their “gut” told them to believe her in the absence of facts.

The authors also acknowledge what had previously been reported in "Justice on Trial," about A group text was formed in which friends such as Cheryl Amitay and Lulu Gonella discussed how to get her to say something more helpful to the cause. An unnamed man on the text suggested that they defame her as an addict. Keyser has been in recovery for some time, as her friends know and as has previously been reported.

Amitay answered,"Leland is a major stumbling block" While asserting she didn't want her to make anything up out of whole cloth, she offered ideas for things that could sound supportive of Ford's story, such as that she'd been in similar situations with Blasey Ford that summer.

"I was told behind the scenes that certain things could be spread about me if I didn't comply," Keyser told the reporters, a stunning admission of the pressure to which she was subjected to by Blasey Ford's allies.

Beach friends need to get their asses sued into bankruptcy.

Or maybe some investigation for the lies that we know some "accusers" told. Why are the false accusers being let off the hook, as usual?

87 Obviously Ford was not invited to any of the cool parties and this is why she is the way she is.

If she were, she could have found one person to sort of corroborate her story, but not one came to her defense.

And no one wanted to say the obvious - she was never invited to the fun parties.

161 Oddly enough, we all are asking 'Why now' on the Kavenaugh thing, right.

Oddly enough, local social media linked to a hot mess of a facebook story about a girl claiming to have been due rape drugged two weekends ago.

Lots of shit didn't add up, but on Social media it quickly became 'Believe her, or you're a sexist pig'.

Turns out that there is no record of the claimed 9-11 call.

No record of an ambulance run to the identified medical facility at that time.

No record of the receipt of a female victim suffering from the claimed medical issues at the medical facility.

And oddly enough, no record of the second female victim of the same type of attack in the next room over at the medical facility.

And no record of the medical facility making the legally required police report concerning the alleged admission and treatment.

And now....the Social Media post has gone *POOF*.

Somebody is trying to drive a wedge between good people in this country.

back in the 80s or 90s my parents gave me a pair of tickets to a Kenny Rogers show at the Arena in Houston. This was the duet era with the drippy songs.
DanMa'am and I go to it and at the end he mentioned he used to be a rocker and let rip that song ' Somethings Burning'. The cowboys that had never heard that ran out out of that show.

Kenny played for us a year or so ago at Michael Berry's Redneck Country Club and everybody loved it.

To see that, all one has to do is imagine the sequence of events that we're asked to believe, and compare that sequence with our own experience. Is the sequence plausible? No. It's laughable, in each instance.

And yet the leftists apparently believe it, because they go all-in and then look ridiculous afterwards. Now I'm sure intrinsically they would like to go all-in any propaganda item, but no one likes to be laughed at, which leads me to believe that they actually did believe the story.

302 It's hard to see a great logic for this crap beyond selling an idiotic book, but there are multiple benefits that the scumbags could gain by launching this particular turd into the punchbowl, including:

-- it tells every potential Trump (or GOP in general) nominee that they should expect their lives to be harmed substantially if they accept a call to serve;

-- they may succeed in abusing Kavanaugh into leaning more left, and he will have more sympathy from the right should he choose to do so;

-- they can create an aura of invalidation of SC decisions in general;

-- they may be able to create a context where Kavanaugh can be pressured to recuse himself on an upcoming case that will overturn the ridiculous Sullivan-NYT decision;

and other reasons.

Would they think it through to this degree or beyond? Dunno.
