FBI Analyst Admits to Illegally Spying on Conspiracy Theorist/Critic and Offering Those Emails to the Press, to Protect Mueller

Trust the Deep State.

A former analyst for the FBI admitted Tuesday to copying the private emails of a conservative conspiracy theorist and sharing them with his superiors while his wife offered them to the press.

...

Tolson's wife, Sarah Gilbert Fox, worked for Burkman from October 2017 to early summer 2018 and had access to his email, according to a statement of facts. Tolson learned in October that Burkman, who gained prominence for conspiracy theories about the death of Democratic National Committee staffer Seth Rich, was planning a news conference claiming that special counsel Robert S. Mueller III committed sexual assault. The woman never appeared, and Mueller asked the FBI to examine claims that she was offered money to fabricate the accusation. Burkman has denied offering anyone money for testimony.

...

On Nov. 1, 2018, Tolson emailed an FBI official to request a meeting on an "urgent" matter, according to the statement of facts. They met later that day, and Tolson handed over an envelope containing the emails, which he believed might be "illegal."

A culture of corruption.

I had been assured that these institutions so inculcated the virtues of integrity and honesty that crimes like this could never happen, and to even suggest they could would be maligning tens of thousands of straight-shooters and Almost Treason.

That means the FBI was worried about the content of those "conspiracy theories".

That means the FBI believed those theories were true.

If the FBI was worried about crazy people hanging out in (say) a Bigfoot forum, they could EASILY get a legal warrant to hang out on such a forum and pinpoint the nutters spouting violent crap. Hell, the forum mods themselves would be happy to have the FBI there.... if shown the warrant.

If the FBI ain't got a warrant, they're just another illegal gang like the MS-13 itself. There, I said it.

52 Conservative conspiracy theorist = somebody who is paying attention.

Paul Joseph Watson has spent a lot of time in the shadow of Alex Jones, and some of the Jones stank is still on him, but Paul has always appeared to be straight shooter. He doesn't go off on nonsense without facts, and he goes to great lengths to specify where he doesn't have all the information.

Unfortunately, "conspiracy theorist" is just one of those terms lots of people take at face value, and like when they call someone a racist, most people stop listening any further.

BIG United States Supreme Court WIN for the Border on Asylum!

Posted by: Deep State is in Deep Shit at September 11, 2019 07:05 PM (BqBId)

The legal challenge to the new policy has a brief but somewhat convoluted history. U.S. District Judge Jon Tigar in San Francisco blocked the new policy from taking effect in late July. A three-judge panel of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals narrowed Tigar's order so that it applied only in Arizona and California, states that are within the 9th Circuit.

That left the administration free to enforce the policy on asylum seekers arriving in New Mexico and Texas. Tigar issued a new order on Monday that reimposed a nationwide hold on asylum policy. The 9th Circuit again narrowed his order on Tuesday.

The high-court action allows the administration to impose the new policy everywhere while the court case against it continues.

Whattadick Tigar is.

And why didn't this type of ruling apply to the asshat Hawaiian judge?

84 "Serious Question: When and Why did we stop calling the English English?"

Serious answer: Act Of Union 1707, which united England and Scotland under a Stewart Sovereign. (The Stewarts were Cornishmen waayyyy back, fled to Brittanny, brought up to Shrewsbury by the Normans, then got a gig as castle stewards under the Scots Denethor-style, finally were kings of Scotland and then of England too.)

So there's a thousand years of Stewart royal history for you. Which is a microcosm of British history. Here's why:

The "English", meanwhile, were a mix of the native Britons (Cornish and Welsh) and incoming Saxons and then Danes as well. The Normans foisted themselves upon us all - Irish too - as a ruling class; but they also picked up some other randos, like the aforementioned protoStewarts from Bretagne.

British history is complicated like that. To this day, people with Frenchy last names tend to get the more prestigious jobs against those of us with Saxon or Celtic names. And I'm seeing it right here in Colorado where there's a "Bennet" representing us and not a "Buck" or a "Glenn".

Our FBI conspires against the public interest, so I guess that makes valid "investigation" based on behavior patterns ... Conspiracy Theory", which is they don't murder/intimidate all the witnesses, may become Conspiracy Fact.

The Fox connected woman that talked with Assange is now backtracking on her story that she knows Seth was his source ... but she was very detailed in writing about it at the time. Depends where in Scotland. South and eastern parts of Scotland, they'll answer to "British". West and north, that's Gaeltacht.

The Scots had an even rougher time uniting themselves than the English did, and that is saying a lot.

Victor Mature was mentioned in the last thread, and that put me in mind of a similar actor. That is, nice hair, fairly good-looking, can memorize lines, and that's about it. This other guy, whose name I'm trying to pull up, was just a bit lower on the totem pole than Mature.

His big hit was a truly dreadful movie from the late 50's or early 60's (I'd guess) that showed up almost constantly on TCM/AMC a few years ago.

He and his companions are captured by a blood-thirsty tribe on the plains of Africa. While his buddies are being slow-roasted and such-like by the savage villagers (literally!), he's outfitted with a loin-cloth and maybe a spear and given a short head start before the warriors of the tribe take off after him.

The interminable rest of the movie is him racing handsomely across the plains, with short intervals of one-to-one combat, where he naturally prevails, given that he has nice hair and a rugged physique and a loin-cloth.

Can anyone please identify this guy and this movie? Thanks!

and OT/previous thread-drifted topic, willowed and re-inflicted here:

mnw, ever heard of the "constitution", or "history"?

The
judiciary is way, way, way outside its defensible purview, it usurps
constantly, it brazenly ignores explicit statutory limitations on its
jurisdiction [see TPS case], it grants standing frivolously in order to
interfere in matters it historically had lacked the arrogance to mess
with [hilariously referred to as "deference"], and on and on.

The
moment the ridiculous, baseless suits against the travel EO were
engaged by the administration - instead of the court's jurisdiction and
the plaintiffs' standing repudiated - it was off to the races.

A
president has tremendous power in the areas in question -
constitutional, statutory, and historically customary. The courts have
had close to none, as it should be. I want Trump to fulfill Scalia's
warning, and [oh yes] even the warning by Roberts in his dissent in
Hamdan v. Bush, that the judiciary might eventually discover the limits
to its [improperly usurped or used] power the hard way.

I believe the terminology the NYT used is simply part of the overall, long-term, Progressive effort to brainwash younger persons into believing only White people do evil things. Persons about age 22 or 23 and younger have no personal memory of 9/11. And those about 21 or 22 and younger have no personal memory of Saddam Hussien. So, why mention Islamic terrorists on the anniversary of 9/11 and perhaps make younger folks think who was flying those aircraft. The oldest of those groups are now eligible to vote. And we all know how the NYT and its Fellow Travelers want them to vote.
