New York Times "Journalist" Paints a Target on... Toilet Paper Suppliers Who Donated to Trump

He's hinting about a boycott. Who knows what kinds of Direct Action he's really contemplating, but avoiding mentioning.

But let's say he just means to spark a boycott.

What the fuck is a "journalist" doing picking out targets for boycotting and tossing them out to his leftwing agitator pals?

Is this journalism? Or is this community organizing?

110 what is really getting to them is that - the more and more they shriek, the less and less anyone pays attention to them.

Look at this last week - they did everything they could to start riots, they did blood libel, the screeched and howled and - what happened? Nothing. I think it's actually a smart tactic for McConnell and Trump to say "sure, we'll talk about gun stuff when we come back from recess" - because when they come back from recess, there will be other Shiny New Things to play with, and they will assign it to a committee to study where to have lunch when they plan who to assign to the committee to think about whether or not they should do something next year - by the time McConnell executes that play, it'll be next summer and time for the next summer recess. And in fact that is not a hard prediction - that's how Washington "Works". Bet on incompetence and sloth every time - and then make it work for you.

204 More serious answer: Journalists approach us in one of two ways. (Going from my experience here.)

1) They say they're doing a story about whatever, and they want input. What they really want is a quote that they can put in their story. I would give a quote that my public relations professor from graduate school would be proud of. Those never get printed, which was fine by me.

2) They don't identify themselves as a journalist. You just talk to some random guy and wake up the next day and see your words in print.

And these are small-town newspaper reporters I had contact with. Can't trust any of them.

Enough of the libs trying to pick off one store at a time ... let's see what happens when a sproting goods store stops carrying guns, or a razor company goes trans ... see that hurts them. So they instead target individuals that support Trump, or a business they think they can harm. But we are supposed to keep buying their gay products.
