It's actually readable by humans. Most computer applications nowadays can read FEN, so those of you who may want to study the position, you can copy the line of FEN and paste into your chess app and it should automatically recreate the position on its display board. Or, Windows users can just "triple click" on it and the entire line will be highlighted so you can copy and paste it into your chess app. ___________ So that about wraps it up for this week. Game thread!
In vidja news last week, Jim Sterling surprised absolutely nobody by revealing himself to be a big fan of deplatforming anyone he doesn't like. It was leaked from his Patreon but I'd thought that everyone already knew he was a douchebag from the #gamergate days. Moving on from that, EA would like us all to know that, where other companies have Loot Boxes (boo!), EA provides only Surprise Mechanics : tinyurl.com/yxaqhuca And what was just done in your mouth was surprise protein. Koji "Castlevania" Igarashi has come out with Bloodstained. Which is basically another Castlevania with the serial numbers filed off, and also a big devil kitteh. youtube.com/watch?v=LI2eVrwa_YE Shield Knight also has a cameo; so Koji was clearly having a lot of fun here. More Challenging Problem.
1. Kc7 Ka7 Black does not have to move his pawn but if he does, he must make sure white does not queen with check (or a forced mate). Black can also let white take the two pawns if he can force a drawn position. So white has to commit if he wants to win and black has to follow him to force a draw. If 2. Kd6 f4 Black can start the race and both will queen. So. 2. Kc6 and now if white move towards the pawn he can catch the g pawn so black must start the race if he is going to do so. But he doesn't have to. ???? Posted by: Borat at June 22, 2019 05:40 PM (vWMNq) 81

I'm not so much concerned about picking up the illegals. Hell, keep 'em running. It's that the Uniparty might actually produce a "solution" to the asylum and loophole problems (i.e., grant everyone asylum and expand all loopholes out to infinity). First one is easy, just take with the knight to fork with check and you have a rook mate.
Second one...King to D7? You should be able to outrun the pawn. It can't move two squares because that gives you a passed pawn after it takes. Posted by: Broseidon Czar of the Brocean at June 22, 2019 05:51 PM (uR+Od) 110

Posted by: Blonde Morticia at June 22, 2019 05:41 PM (13CQC) If working out a "solution" equates to passing legislation Trump is OK with, they actually have less time than 2 weeks; the House and Senate are scheduled to be in session this upcoming week but out of session the entire week of the 4th of July. Since the 4th is on a Thursday, if needed they could cancel part of the recess week if they got something figured out that could get through both places. has to be very, very careful not to let Black get away with a stalemate. I tried playing this out and that's what happened. Court officials say a Florida man charged with burglary defecated during his criminal trial and tried to throw his feces at the judge. The Miami Herald reports 33-year-old Dorleans Philidor was sitting in a wheelchair next to Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Lisa Walsh when officials say he tried to throw his excrement at her. It did not reach her. There were no jurors present during Friday's incident. Jurors subsequently acquitted him of the burglary charge. Posted by: Skip ------- I can't speak for the stock car guys, but many racers are perfectly content to remain in the middle of the pack, and let others set the pace. Among other things, attrition may take out the front runners. As long as you think that you are within striking distance on the last lap or so, many linger back a bit. Many races have been won by someone who never led the race prior to the last lap or two. A corollary is that there is less pressure in following the pack, then there is in leading. First dress pic is magnificent. Imagine what that would cost to make today.
I love the range of greens in the second dress pic, especially that pale green almost fading into gray. But that one woman in the sunglasses lounging on the stairs is kinda frightening. What's wrong with your face!?! Is that Kate at Ascot? I'm sure all that's appropriate, and she looks nice, as always, but.... Meh. Hey, our FLOTUS is a genuine fashion model! But I think we've seen this pic before? Posted by: Gem at June 22, 2019 08:30 PM (XoAz8) 395

My bot PDT has made 2 decisions in the last 24 hours that perplex me: Not bombing Iran and suspending round ups and deportations for 2 weeks. Sigh Posted by: Nevergiveup at June 22, 2019 05:54 PM (yWXpx) The deportation operation was burned by leaks out of DHS so that delay actually makes sense. I'm a little confused by pulling back on the Iran strikes but I'm working with the theory that he's doing good cop/bad cop with Bolton. But the Mullahs need a war so there will be more provocations. Don't know what happens then. Posted by: joncelli tries Windows 10 at June 22, 2019 08:47 PM (1FhAQ) 401
