For example, David was the 2nd most popular boy's name the year I was born. This year the second most popular boy's name is (yuck) Noah. A few years ago I would have been Liam, which is worse. Liam is the weird kid that eats paste. Wait a minute. I was the weird kid that ate paste in kindergarten. Damn, maybe there's something to this after all. The End of Women's Sports 8th Place: A High School Girl’s Life After Transgender Students Join Her Sport While it's easy to laugh as the feminists get their world burned down around them because of the asinine leftist policies they espouse, it also pays to remember that there are innocent girls being harmed too. And the main point of the article, about how people are afraid to speak out for fear of retaliation, is downright scary. If we can't put this genie back into the bottle, than there needs to be a 3rd category added to each sport, “open”, in which anyone can compete. AlaBAMA, true, Alice was a funny show, at least in the first couple years.
Way back when Fritz Coleman was still a professional comedian, and he was just hired as the weatherperson at KNBC in LA, he used to work TV jokes into his forecasts. Shouldn't the true 'woke' position with regard to sports be one team rather than two? If gender is a social construction with no true difference, then why boys and girls competitions? There should be no NBA and WNBA but just the NBA open to all genders. Because there is no advantage due to biology, right?

Well, the European MSM has their "voter suppression" narrative ready to delegitimize the Brexit's party's upcoming victory in the British elections to the European Parliament.
It turns out that non-British EU citizens residing in Britain have the right to vote in the British elections to the European Parliament. The claim is that up to two million people neglected to fill out the forms to vote, and therefore had been disenfranchised. Because, after all, foreigners should get to determine who Britain sends to the European Parliament. Posted by: The ARC of History! at May 23, 2019 10:14 PM (I2/tG) 64

A lot of followers, even at Twitter, responded, congratulations, you just lost my vote forever. Posted by: qdpsteve at May 23, 2019 10:20 PM (miE9U) 94

Well, before many personal life things happened, I decided to sell my house. It's getting way too diverse for my liking. As in "look another woman dressed in an eye slit garbage bag at the store, oh yay" kind of way. So I've been planing to move, and I just have too much stuff. So..I want to get rid of it. Letters to our Sons
Anyway, each parent(s) is supposed to write a letter to their child, It's not read publicly, but still. A letter ************** I just went through something similar 2 weeks ago and I'm still trying to not do something that will get me arrested... Daughter is graduating from high school... Ex wife invited me and my 87 yo mother to a dinner at her church for the seniors. The moms were instructed to write a letter and read it at the table. The bitch took 4 clear shots at me in her letter, I nearly flipped the table and went nuts. My son kicked me every time trying to get the reaction he knew I had in me. Anyhow, my fault for showing up on her turf. And next Friday I'm going to a graduation party at her house. I may put it on Fen's list just to maintain my sanity. The 8th grade boys spent the last week of school running from the sophomore boys to avoid getting their heads shaved.

A jackass of color (JOC or JOCK, if you prefer). I just got home from seeing "The Cold Blue." I am under-whelmed. Fabulous film restoration and sound effects work. The story-telling left much to be desired for me. Very little "setting the stage," no big picture of 8th AF ops and how the footage represents those activities (and that they only used William Wyler's footage, and disregarded ??? of feet of other color footage of 8th AF ops).
They give total 8th AF deaths, but not wounded totals; no examples given of some missions that had huge losses (60 bombers) to give viewers a sense of how desperate some of the air battles were. And no mention at all of the fighter escorts!!! One way I think it would be better is if about 60 percent of the "making the movie" segment that runs after the film is shown before the film. I would have had a much better appreciation of why the footage looks beautiful, and could have looked for some details that are pointed out -after- the film. See it if you can, for the beautiful (restored and enhanced) color footage of actual 8th AF ground and air activities. My thanks to all the 8th AF servicemen for their services, and for too many, for their sacrifices. The thing about that comparison to Rome . . .
The satire discussed was written in 60. The Western Empire dissolved in 476. The Eastern Empire continued until 1453. So what is there to worry about? The earth will be destroyed in 12 years by climate change, so the prospect of the U.S. collapsing more than 400 or 1400 years from now is rather moot. Or at least just as sensational. Neither did most hospitals. The only air-conditioned part of the local hospital in the '70s was the psychiatric unit. The story I heard from a nurse who worked in the ER back then was that the shrinks demanded priority installation of the A/C, and the rest of the hospital figured that a bunch of shrinks on a rampage during a heat wave would be worse than their patients doing the same. To be a little fair to Duncan (of the History of Rome), if I remember correctly he wasn't saying the Germanic invasions necessarily brought down the Empire, but that the Empire's inability and/or refusal to integrate the newcomers caused the problems. But then I really like the podcast, so I'm biased. Men's competitions are the open competitions. Always have been. Women try to compete with the men every once in a while but, outside of drag racing, they can't. So now the trannies have brought "drag" racing to every sport! Confused perverts have always been allowed to compete against the men. Everyone has always been allowed to compete against the men. It's the "Cuyamaca" Mountains.
Mt. Palomar, of the highest peak there, is the claim to fame. Because of the big-ass telescope at the Palomar Observatory, natch. USAF had a USAF Camp Cuyamaca radar station there in the '70s. And I worked as a YMCA winter camp counselor there at Camp Cuyamaca in the early '70s, in one particular blizzard-y winter of epic proportion. How bad was it? I had to show shovel my way from my cabin to the camp dining hall, some 150 ft. though an average of 4 ft. of snow. Missed breakfast, made it after lunch to work prep for dinner. Was thereafter evacuated by bus to the Greyhound station in Downtown San Diego, as I had managed to fully develop a raging case of pneumonia. Not bad for a High School Senior who had to be in class the following Monday. I didn't make it, but I did the homework they sent me, all the same. That was as a Senior. My Junior year, was slightly worse. Don't even ask me about motorcycle injuries suffered in the Anza Borrego desert in the late fall months. That one, I literally sewed my own leg up after the oopsie. Long before I ever went active duty in the USAF...my life, was as you might say, was... And I'll post this tomorrow, or into next week. Early 1980s. Fellow church member was Capt. Micheal Mendez. Might've been Mendes, but I don' think so. CA Air National Guard. Flying a CA ANG T-33 out of Mountain Home AFB Idaho, to RTB his CA home AFB. The Air Traffic Controller blew the altitude call, and vectored him straight into a mountain side, some two or three thousand feet below the peak. He was survived by wife, Zoe, and two sons. The Islamification of Britain started the same time the Islamification America started, right after 9/11. Where Islamic terrorists perpetrated the most horrific act of evil, the west decided that the way to prove we weren't Islamophobes was to supercharge Islamic immigration into the west. And that distinction goes to 'w' and Tony Blair. Posted by: John The Savage at May 24, 2019 06:27 AM (yzkXe) 630

I'm skeptical about it
Posted by: vmom superior, order of sweet merciless ninjasmy at May 24, 2019 07:19 AM (dm05u) It's a great story, but parts don't add up. Like how on the phone he thinks the dude is just some normal American stoner, but then he turns out to be some Guatemalan MS-13 gang banger - wait, what? But it's still a good story. So, the Tories know they got slammed
Posted by: Jean at May 24, 2019 06:46 AM (25Dt7) Apparently - but Americans have a hard time wrapping their minds around this one, since it is such a weird election. If/when Brexit goes through, all of the EU MP's get kicked out. Was already supposed to have happened, and that's why nobody in the Political Establishment cared about running for them very much. BUT what Nigel Farage figured out (along with a lot of unhappy persons and parties in Italy, and France, and Eastern Europe) is to campaign on "Let's elect a whole bunch of people (us) to the EU Parliament, people who HATE the EU, so we can tear the whole thing up from the inside!" That's the campaign pitch that is driving this election. The German politician Juncker is getting all pissed off about it, because he's sensing that the anti-EU forces inside the EU Parliament are about to achieve a critical mass. Yeah, the heroin story was BS and now he's got a GoFundMe which he thinks will keep him alive before the gangbangers kill him. I mean, brass balls making it up, but it's more like GoF***Me in this situation. (https://tinyurl.com/y6zspj9x)
