CIA Joins DOJ Probe of #Spygate Origins

But is the CIA getting involved to find the truth, or to bury it?

Attorney General William Barr has enlisted the help of the CIA to investigate whether the FBI's surveillance of the Trump campaign was motivated by partisan bias, CNN reported Tuesday.
CIA director Gina Haspel, Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats, and FBI director Chris Wray are all participating in the investigation, which Barr first announced publicly during a congressional hearing last month.

I still have my doubts that the Deep State, and those with friends in the Deep State, will permit any kind of real investigation to happen. And I'm quite sure that Deep State apparatchiks are completely immune to prosecution for the perjury and obstruction they charge their targets with.

There has been so much investigating, and FOIA requests and documents and trails found, and witness testimony and secret courts... and Barr has access to it all (well, sort of - what has been discovered anyway). He already knows the names of some of those in the CIA that may have been involved.

It's not like Barr is using the CIA for all of his inquiries and for his final summation. He is requesting their help with some of the investigation.

Which wasn't so magical when you realize JFK's limo wasn't laid out like your dad's station wagon. JFK wasn't exactly behind Connelly, he was somewhat above and to the right of him. 434 I don't think Barr needs a single Associate AG, I think the entire apparatus of the DOJ should be involved in 'managing' and 'coordinating' all of the different investigations. That would make the subverters very obvious very quickly, they would have to play whack-a-mole every time different angles popped up, and there are so many angles, the subverters would have to self sacrifice for each one.
