Last night we had some powerful winds, tornadoes did not form but were possible.
So this morning, as I walked around the big circle, I'm looking at the branches on the ground under the big tree that's almost dead.
We had thought some woodpeckers had been nesting there. I look up to see if their nest area was still okay...
...and I realize I'm looking at the silhouettes of eight huge turkey vultures sitting at the treetop.
One by one, they rise out of the tree, slowly and loudly as if disgruntled by my interrupting them.
If that gang (don't call us a flock!) of big birds had wanted to go all Hitchcock on me, I'd be a mess.
Fortunately "I'm tired of waiting - I'm going to kill something" is just a Far Side caption.
... for now. (Looks apprehensively up as huge shadows go by.)

Interesting. Keep an eye out for leaks. If the Congress-only version of the report leaks, there may well be something that contradicts the public version or testimony.
If it doesn't leak, if the expressway between the State and the Press mysteriously doesn't pass this piece of traffic, then the Congressional version is almost certainly fully consistent with the public version.

It makes sense in this case. Whenever going up against a Republican - for *decades* - the Left has been able to operate in precisely that mode. In virtually all cases, their opponent has made the stupidest and least self-defensive move possible in response to an attack.
This hasn't been true of their side, of course - in the rare instance when the Left decides to ostracize a fellow leftist they are far more careful. They have gotten fat and lazy when it comes to going after Republicans because until P45 they never had to be anything else for a long time now.

Interesting. Keep an eye out for leaks. If the Congress-only version of the report leaks, there may well be something that contradicts the public version or testimony.
If it doesn't leak, if the expressway between the State and the Press mysteriously doesn't pass this piece of traffic, then the Congressional version is almost certainly fully consistent with the public version.

Keep plowing that fowl, guys. Here's the thing with obstruction: there has to be something to obstruct and it's a judgment call kind of crime as opposed to a hard crime with a victim and physical evidence. Mueller didn't find the evidence he was looking for, and his piss-poor partisan judgement told him there may have been collusion. Barr disagrees.
And none of them will mention what a cop out this was. The cops inform the DA if they think there was obstruction and ask for a charge. They don't go over what happened during the investigation and then tell the DA "but it's your call to decide whether or not *you* think there was obstruction." Mueller knows it wouldn't stick in and in a worst case - impeachment, removal, indictment and then prosecution - Trump would be acquitted. If he indicated no obstruction, his side would eat him alive.
So he copped out, made a politically-charged report full of innuendo, and then passed the buck to someone else to keep the heat off. What a shitbag.

I've honestly never seen the type of media meltdown that I'm seeing on CNN. They are so emotionally invested in the storyline that they've been pushing for 2+ years and they know what Mueller did to it and how this will forever reflect on them.

I went to a fancy liberal arts college, but that is basically what I did. I doubled in an academic track, too (history, emphasis on US/Japanese comparative history since 1865), but I was in trade school. I was learning how to produce, direct and edit television content.
Ended up not working in that field for various reasons, but it's more or less how it went for me. It wasn't bad. Being able to hybridize training and education was a decent way to go. If you don't care about that, then just go get the training you need and do it in less time for less money. Some of these are popping up. In Denver, we now have a special-purpose television trade school.

She's subtle, but she mocks her old man and always when I deserve it so that I can't get mad.
She never speaks in class at school, but when she does I get some detailed report from her, including her perspective, followed the next day by some email from a teacher making sure I didn't mistake what I might have heard from my daughter (IOW crawdadding out of the convo).

Barr said that Mueller's team, ie Weissman did his best to twist facts to create obstruction on an investigation that found no crime to obstruct, but that those theories were a laughable failure. Now the idiots will think that there is a there there.

Funny that much is going the other way. OTs and PTs used to get out in 5 years. Now it is 8 with a doctorate. OTAs and PTAs can get out in 2 years, however much abuse in them not being properly supervised. I could have taking 2 good writing classes and then got my business degree finished in about 2 years.

However, during the investigation you delete banking records and some emails off your computer. Again, you're innocent. I would believe deleting info would be obstruction.

Yes, but - when a party is under investigation, he is given notice to preserve all materials pending the outcome. Therefore deleting them would be violating a specific legal order which had been delivered.
However, if you *suspected* that you were under investigation, but had not been notified, and you chose to destroy all of your records, for whatever reason, then I think you're untouchable.
lesson - don't let any potentially incriminating info hang around until its too late.

It's not obstruction is no crime has been committed.
Obstruction is an attempt to hinder government officials from discovering or prosecuting evidence of a crime. If there is no crime to be discovered or prosecuted, then deleting innocent emails or banking records isn't a crime.
However, if the records were under subpoena or an order of preservation and you deleted them, that's a different matter. But still not technically obstruction. Violation of a court order.

Obstruction of Justice: any act such as hiring counsel, declaring your innocence publicly and defending your reputation, et al, intended to clear you of wrongdoing.
Example: A college male stands accused of rape. He denies the claim and asks for legal representation. This is obstruction of justice, because if you innocent, you have nothing to fear.

Guys like diGenova thought Barr would be good, while he thought Sessions/Rosie were failures, company men at best (DeepState/Swamp company).
The question to me is how aggressively Barr will go after the coup (my words). It was not incompetence, it was obstruction of the president, with massive crimes to cover up Hillary crimes, and DeepState crimes.
We hear much more is coming ... that is good, but will it be indictments for a coup (or sedition, or some serious charges) -- or just scolding for "bad behavior"?
