Reactions to Mueller from The Last 72 Hours

There's been a lot of reaction to the news Friday through Sunday. I set aside some of these tweets and videos, and I'll just post them all below, The Good, the Bad, and The Cuckly.

I'm not going to add much to any of this because you can guess my basic reaction to the various things said here.

How about Mueller was a dirty cop who used every dirty trick -- pre-dawn SWAT raids on senior citizens! -- to help his friends in the Deep State, but failed?

I do enjoy that Jonah Godlberg, who has pushed this hysterical conspiracy theory like a true brain-dead zealot, finds that there is a group of people who need to apologize for being so wrong, and it's... the people who've been skeptical of this conspiracy theory, and have been smeared and ridiculed for being skeptical about a conspiracy.

The whole NeverTrump line is seizing on this angle of spin/deflection.

Explanation for the following Tweet: Benjamin Wittes at Lawfareblog served as cut-out between Leaky Comey and reporters. For two years, he has eagerly retweeted every Fusion/Deep State leak and promise of impeachment, adding his own commentary like "tick tick tick.." and "boom!"

For that reason, he has been dubbed Dr. Tick Tock von Boom Boom.

That wasn't a parody tweet, by the way. He's not just doing the "You know who benefits from this? Putin" joke. He's serious, because he's deranged.

And finally:

More on that later.

This was posted the very day news broke that the investigation was over and there would be no further indictments.

As Glenn Reynolds says, this is one of those "intelligence experts" who told us to trust their Genius Instincts on investigating Trump.

So where's your gut now, Liar?

i have energy usually. today I only got 5.5 hours sleep so that's throwing a wrench into the energy balance equation.

TBH I only visually noted weight loss today, at day nine. I know I lost weight, but I didn't see it until now.

It seems to come down off the face first, then shoulders, then face and chest, and only at the end, abdomen.

Hands up, don't shoot. Trump's a Russian spy. Kavanaugh ran a secret gang rape cartel. Covington kids assaulted a vet.

Never forget that these lies--and yes, they were outright lies--were deliberately peddled by all the same people for all the same reasons.

Damn straight, Sean.

Also, that minivan driver is going to have a wreck. No way to safely operate a vehicle with that mindset this week.

And Goldberg can EABOD. Mueller is dirty. He performed loads of dirty tricks. He kept this going, hoovering down capital and sowing discord, for much longer than it needed because he was grasping at straws and found *nothing.*

I don't even think it is because Mueller was unwilling to fabricate evidence. He was perfectly willing to destroy people's lives (Flynn) and coerce untruthful testimony (Cohen). I think the only thing that checked him is that Trump can declassify and prove him to be a liar if he manufactured evidence. That's it.

He's dirty, he was just in too risky a position to outright fabricate a conspiracy because he could be checked on it by the man he's trying to destroy and then he would be ruined by it bigly.

This Goldberg canard - like most canards created by people who aren't dull normals - is probably going to be effective. Sadly.

100 The non-existent WMD debacle damaged the reputation of the U.S. intelligence community.

Bullshit.

Why are people bringing up the WMD stuff, now, and bringing it up incorrectly?? WTFF?

Iraq had WMD. We all know that. It was acknowledged, seen and touched. There was no question. Then Iraq kicked the UN douchebags out and claimed that they had destroyed the WMD that they were known to have had but didn't keep any records of it. Only an idiot of the highest order would believe that.

Bush pushed some extra stuff with WMD that didn't turn out but that has nothing to do with THE FACT that Iraq had WM, the will to use them, and could not be allowed to control one of the most strategically sensitive areas in the world after 9/11. Period. End of story.

And ... to make this WMD screaching even dumber the fact is that the Iraq War ended up turning up more WMD than anyone had even dreamt of - and more serious WMD. It was only because Bush went into Iraq guns ablazing, taking no shit (to start, at least) that he scared the living shit out of Q'Daffy who then puked up his whole nuke program and, with it, the first real look into and understanding of the massive and serious A.Q. Khan nuclear network, which was then taken apart.

If I hear another idiot bleating about "WMDs in Iraq" bullshit I'm going to de-bleat the fvcker with an old grapefruit spoon. Iraq had WMDs. Fact. Iraq kicked everyone out while it still had WMDs. Fact. No one could know what Iraq did or didn't have after that. Fact. The Iraq War led DIRECTLY to the exposure and shutting down of the AQ Khan network. Fact.

Case rested.

Not to be all "Trump is playing 9-dimensioal chess, you guyz" but having a peek at what they did to Trump, is it not the least bit likely they did a variation of this to Mitt Romney in 2012, and to many (most? all?) of the GOP candidates in 2016?
And also maybe/probably some Obama foes between 2008-2016?

If you believe that, then you DO have to give Trump credit for outwitting them. He didn't just stumble through to a victory like some rando businessman, he pushed back hard in the media and on twitter, and by appearances did all sorts of sneaky things behind the scenes so that he was not only cleared, but his enemies have been kneecapping themselves left and right.

In fact, that's a measure of how stupid Avenatti is. He let Geragos maneuver him into a position where, if they won, Geragos would get half the money, but if they lost, Avenatti would take the ENTIRE fall, while Geragos walks away laughing.

probably solid points, but at least in the HSBC caught money laundering $2B for cartels case ... they globalists threatened financial contagion if their global bank laws were not allowed to supersede USLaw. We had them dead to rights, and we (Lynch I think) backed down to their threat. (see "All the Plenary's Men" on YouTube)

Individuals can still be prosecuted, and the decision to let certain DeepStaters go free is not due to the Corporations are People thang, afaik. It is because BigMoney BigCorp run our government, and get special treatment.

Will be interesting to see if Nike was really committing some crimes, and if individuals (in America) will be prosecuted. The shakedown of the corporations has been mostly just them avoiding PR problems (the famous Jesse Jackson donation type shakedowns), not actual crimes.

I've been on a 1,200 calorie (or less) food budget for the past year. It's relatively painless. No way I would go less then that. Three delicious 400 calorie meals per day is easy. For a male of the 5' 6" height or taller, that's probably 50% of break-even.

Get a little more active with that diet, eat some fish, and you'd lose a pound a week.

And all of them because news reporters are not just really, really stupid, but ignorant and infantile in their worldview. They were told something that they wanted to be true and ran with it. If true, this is huge! (of course its true, it agrees with what I desire to be true)

Its not like they sit around a candle-lit table wearing scary robes in the dead of night and decide to all lie about something. Its not anywhere near that complicated. They don't have to be coordinated. Remember those seagulls in Finding Nemo 2? Mine! mine! Mine!! Mine!! That's the press. They are stupid and easily manipulated, remember that Obama guy who said it about Iran?

They aren't doing this deliberately so much as because they're crappy at their job, idiotic, ignorant, and want it all to be true. They're retards with great hair. A child could manipulate them.

I dunno, without Woody Wil, I doubt we'd have gotten Barry...

I thought that as I was typing my response. But Wilson might or might not have succeeded in his efforts, he had no way of being sure it would work.President Bastard Bigears knew exactly what would happen and exactly when it would happen every time he issued one of his regulations or Executive orders. Really rather delicious irony that one of the very people Eugenicist Wilson would have wanted eradicated - a half black - used his policies to become President.
Well not really delicious considering the damage done to the national racial relations fabric, and the economic fabric, and the framework of the Republic and....

398 I'd give it to Wilson. creating Hitler, income taxes, the modern middle east, and causing WW2. and then stoving up and not stepping down and letting your wife be in charge.

As loathsome as Wilson was, Frogs like Clemenceau and Brits like Lloyd George would have cocked that up even without him.

404 292 You should not applaud that Robert Mueller didn't find anything. That validates Mueller, it validates this investigation, it validates this entire waste of time.

I'm not applauding Mueller for anything. I'm celebrating watching all the Great Pumpkin hopers melting down (again). That is real, and it is spectacular.

411 I'm trying to convince my wife, who is super-pro-Trump and absolutely thrilled about how things have ended re: Mueller, to cancel our cable. She won't, tho, because she is a stay at home mom who easily watched 10 hours of TV a day.
I remind her that thanks to bundling we are funding CNN, and MSNBC - every day. She doens't like when I remind her of that.

Get a Chromecast or Kindle fire and watch Youtube videos instead. I haven't even flipped to cable for months.
