Tucker Carlson Rips Democrats, Media, and Deep State "Resistance" on Russia "Collusion" Hoax: It Was Fake. It Was Always Fake and They Knew It Was Fake.

He doesn't mention NeverTrump by name, but they should be included.

He's hot as a two-dollar pistol and it's very satisfying to watch. (Or, if you can't watch at work, there's a transcript.)

We have news for you, breaking news, that for whatever reason is being downplayed or ignored by other media outlets, but we think you want to know about it. Five simple words describe it, there was no Russian collusion. There is no evidence whatsoever that the Trump campaign conspired in any way with the government of Vladimir Putin during the last presidential election.

That is apparently the conclusion of the bipartisan Senate Intelligence Committee. That Committee spent two years investigating this question. Of course, hundreds of interviews, reams of classified documents, untold millions in taxpayer dollars. No collusion at all. That is what we are hearing on Tuesday evening that they have found.

Now, if you've been following the story at all, and of course you have been, you will not be surprised by this. No Russian collusion is a lot like the moon landing actually happened or the abominable snowman was probably a long-haired mountain goat. You knew that already because you are not an idiot, but if so, compare your mental acuity to that of prominent political figures here in Washington.

The next time you feel dumb, remember what these Democrats said:

ADAM SCHIFF: U.S. REPRESENTATIVE, CALIFORNIA: I think there is plenty of evidence of collusion or conspiracy in plain sight.

MAXINE WATERS, U.S. REPRESENTATIVE, CALIFORNIA, DEMOCRAT: Trump has the Kremlin clan surrounding him. There is more to be learned about it. I believe there has been collusion.

JOHN PODESTA, FORMER WHITE HOUSE CHIEF OF STAFF: It is starting to smell more and more like collusion.

NANCY PELOSI, SPEAKER, U.S. HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES: We saw cold, hard evidence of the Trump campaign and, indeed, the Trump family eagerly intending to collude, possibly with Russia.

"Smells like collusion...." "Plenty of evidence of collusion...." "Hard evidence of collusion...."

In the end, it was all fake. And they knew that, they knew it wasn't real. They were lying from the very first day. Only their remarkable aggression, their willingness to say literally anything no matter how outrageous or slanderous or vile, kept the rest of us from catching on to what they were doing.

If the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee is willing to call someone a traitor to this country, there’s gotta be some truth to it, right?

Actually, no, there wasn't. It was always a hoax.

Adam Schiff is an unscrupulous charlatan -- that is the real lesson here. Don't expect people like Schiff to apologize though or correct the record, much less repair the lives of the people they have destroyed.

Everyone that's really looked at this knows it was all horse shit.

They are purposely lying hoping it distracts Trump (it worked, it's probably half of his tweets)

Trump could have handled the whole affair a lot better. Should have just ripped it off quick like a bandage. Fired Sessions, Comey, Mueller, Rosenstein, etc and see how far "RUSSIA!!" got Democrats in the next election.

A lot of good and innocent people went behind bars and had their lives ruined because Trump let this charade go on.

And conservatives should never trust any government agency ever again and start stripping away the Deep State's power. I'd rather take my chances with the "bad guys" then give people like Mueller any more power.

That would be Jeffrey Beauregard Sessions, by way of his recusal. Running away from his responsibilities, more like. And look what happened.

That the Praetorian Guard FBI needs to be taken apart, brick by brick and reassembled as a crime fighting agency is obvious. That the DOJ has been compromised by the politics of the age is beyond dispute. That the entire intelligence community needs to pay a price, and people must go to jail, is something most Americans will soon agree with, if they do not already.

180 "There was no evidence that there was NO collusion, either."
What the?
This is why critical thinking is not taught in public education. Basic logic means that people may actually QUESTION what they are TOLD by AUTHORITIES.
Proving something involves providing evidence and facts to support a thesis.

Basic logic: You cannot prove a negative.
James Randi explains it well: You can go to the top of the Empire State Building and through a thousand reindeer off the top of it. Based on what we know about reindeer, in all probability none of these reindeer will fly. What you will have at the end of the day is 1000 dead reindeer.

What you have demonstrated (NOT proven) is that these reindeer either could not or chose not to fly. Doesn't PROVE the NEGATIVE statement that "Reindeer can't fly."
The Left is trying to prove a similar negative. And 40% of the public will "believe" them.

188 And unless there are very serious legal consequences for the long list of criminals here (Brennan, FBI idiots, DOJ idiots, et al), then this absurd coup attempt will have partially succeeded.

This Mega-Scandal (includes the Clinton SecState Espionage Act chapter and other Clinton crimes) dwarfs any/all scandals in our national history, by a factor of 1,000.

It involved the *systematic* corruption and illegality of the most powerful institutions, using the most dangerous powers entrusted to them. To, literally, negate the constitutional political process - and in the Clinton case, to establish a lawless, pay-for-play cell atop the USG, literally renting our foreign policy.

"Oversight" and checks and balances have - continue to - utterly fail. The timid and unproductive efforts of the House committees last Congress, and the efforts of Senate Judiciary, were alarming in their weakness, given the context. The big IG report so far mostly confirmed that the corruption would be winked at (finding that all investigative judgment calls were defensible).

Even prosecutions of the headline figures (well, the figures known by those who don't rely on "the press" for their understanding) will not constitute full treatment of this catastrophe. But if even *those* don't happen, whoa.

Saddest part is, once again, Church leadership is committing suicide.

They whine about how enrollment is dropping, and then do shit like this. Tuition at a diocesan high school is over $8,000 now in Delaware; the private ones are higher. The immediate reaction will probably be, and should be, people saying enough. Their kids can get abused anywhere. Which is exactly what the left wants.

It would be beyond stupid for Trump The Businessman to have his accountants lie on any financial document.

Think about it: his personal and business finances were open to inspection by NYS auditors, IRS auditors, and more importantly -- banks doing due diligence before lending him money.

I'm sure he used every "loophole" he could, but that's what EVERYONE does. We all take all the exemptions and deductions we're able to. Literally everyone who files taxes does this.

AND, I'm not sure how the corporate structure of the various Trump entities is set up, but it would be a breach of fiduciary duties for him to voluntarily decide to pay more in taxes then he was obligated to pay.

>>Whatever Huber does is too little, but a country mile, and too late. The damage has already been done, over the last two years, and in the minds of gullible centrist voters.

Don't be absurd. Nobody has forgotten anything and it's hardly too late.

This is by far the biggest counterintelligence investigation this country has ever gone through. It involves not just systemic corruption in multiple agencies throughout the Executive Branch but at least 6 foreign countries.

Expecting it to be wrapped up in a couple weeks is dumb. Hell, Mueller has a relatively simple charter in comparison and he's not done yet. Dozens of senior people have been fired or forced to retire. That is swamp draining and their ability to do those operations is now permanently ended. That is only step 1.

This operation went all the way to Obama and much of his senior team. It involved Hillary and her campaign. It involved at least two DC law firms, Fusion and numerous media outlets. Its fucking enormous.

Whitaker confirmed once again that Horowitz and Huber are working on this investigation. If they fuck it up then they fuck it up and not just them but Trump should be held accountable. Nobody is going to have any faith in government if people are not held accountable. I'm fairly certain Trump understands this.

As such, their actions were a criminal conspiracy against the United States Government. It continues to this day at SDNY, which excels at dotting their "i"s and crossing their "t"s. Anybody who had anything to do with the persecution of the President needs to be fired. And if they were already fired, prosecuted.

326 I love how the left keeps trying to bring up "Emolument", mainly because its an odd word and nobody remembers what it means. And so they pretend it means accepting payment of any kind, like in a business transaction - but that was NEVER what it meant!

An Emolument is a direct payment from one government to an official (usually head of state) in another Government, in exchange for special favors, vows of friendship, etc. It sounds like a bribe, but it's done out in the open and no one denies it - the British especially used to do this a lot to seal treaties and deals with smaller countries around the world, which is why the Founders were worried about it happening to them.

But taking payment for a normal business transaction was never any kind of "emolument".

330 The new theory that must be investigated is that trump plans to commit treason by using the presidency to score a sawed development deal with Russia in the event that he is not re elected. The proof of this is that he continued the Trump tower Moscow negotiation during the campaign as an out in case he was not elected. Ignoring the fact that it was not his development deal, only his name by license.

Dream up a fantasy crime, then investigate for months to see if that crime actually happened. Not a police state at all.

It was like that long long long article about Trump's dads "shady" financial dealings and his estate when he died.

If you know basic tax law, and some rudimentary accounting, it all makes sense as is not shady at all.

The book value of an asset like a building is almost never going to be the same as the fair market value of an asset. It's just basic depreciation schedules.

And paying transfer costs to other subsidiaries is a normal part of how the business world works. You need to account for things on your books.

But they made it all sound sinister. "Trumps company paid his other company for services rendered, and used that as a tax deduction!"

Sigh.

Every company does it. It's nothing special, or shady, or anything else.

It's part of the tax code. There's a very good public policy reason for allowing losses to carry over, it was debated by congress and is part of our tax law.

If we didn't allow losses to carry to another year, it would make more sense (from a tax perspective) to try to drag those losses out forever, by only slowly writing them down, and would have the same outcome at the end of the day.

Congress figured it would be better for the economy if businesses could just dump the losses and move on without being, essentially, penalized by the IRS for not keeping the losses on the books indefinitely.

And they try to equate someone using anothers business for business purposes but are really payments coming in a back door is something the left/Dems do all the time.

Example; Netflix purchasing AOC's documentary. Nice way to get around any campaign donation laws. Also the book that supposedly Michelle wrote and Hillary and the light bringer himself.

All those books are done my in house (sometimes freelance) ghost writers so as to either pay someone off or get their story down in ink for later sales but lately it's been to pay people off in a way that can be argued is legitimate.

If you're in the business of renting out buildings and whatnot, those buildings are treated just like any other income producing asset for tax purposes.

The depreciation schedule on buildings isn't very generous either.

I don't think real estate is a great place to go for tax purposes, because as you mention -- you face a lot of additional state & local taxes & restrictions that you wouldn't if you were in a different industry.

461 The only birth certificate I have is a reprint that looks just like the one the Bamster came out with, it's all I can get.

It wasn't a question of an original-original. It was a question of an actual document, which Barky never released or showed or anything. barky only let out scans of a document (and that only at midnight to shitty, little web sites out of nowhere) and those scans were all shown to be manipulated or altered in one way or another.

Your official copy would suffice. A xerox of your copy would not, because xeroxes are, basically, useless.

Personally, I always thought that the real reason he tried to hide/launder the original was because it would have showed that at birth, he was identified as White.

WHo knows? I figured it had something to do with his possible adoption by Soetoro - since he did go by Barry Soetoro for a long time. But there was some reason he never allowed any release of an official document (which doesn't have to be an original, just a certified copy).

I just get tired of people here continuing to call the questions of Barky's eligibility - which were certainly legitimate questions - conspiracy theories of some sort. It's friggin annoying.

Not much more (actually 5% more) then a non-profit would make. I'm not going to wring my hands too much over them finding legal ways to avoid paying taxes on that paltry percentage.

Just envious that I used to lose about one third of profits to the Fed every year.

On your personal income taxes, yes, only mortgage interest. Which I don't love, I think it encourages people to keep mortgages around when theyd be better off paying the house off. But I digress.

You pay taxes on income.

Companies pay taxes on profit.

So any expense the business incurs is subtracted from the revenue to get to the profit.

The IRS says you can depreciate (ie: get the tax benefit for the cost of) a building over like 50 years (I don't remember exactly, and I think it varies based on building type).

He needs to have Mulvaney and DHS and BP provide detailed info on border barrier plans and funding. Time to move past the quasi-misleading stuff about "already" building "the wall". There's a lot of confusion and uncertainty about new vs. repaired barriers, bollard vs. other versions for different sectors, etc.

And even *if* reprogrammed $$ will be used to do a serious barrier project (= lots of actual wall, not just bollard, and for ALL of the most passable sectors), Trump can't just walk away whistling victory while asylum scam and Flores remain. There is a serious crisis having nothing to do with barriers, and I'm not aware it's even on the table.

Only upside to the whole affair.

There's no benefit in having blind faith in a rigged game.
Posted by: Juan Ceva at February 13, 2019 02:44 PM (7U5Zw)

The issue is that the entire system runs on that Faith. Without it, cooperation ends, and the State must use more coercive means to enforce the law.

You know, like send 26 armed men to arrest one 66 year old White Collar Criminal?

And the more coercive the State gets, the more angry the people... and Americans will only stand for that shit for so long before you get another Bundy situation.

IIRC, those were assets of the previous regime that the US govt seized in the 1970's in response to the hostage crisis.

...annnnd I think the actual money was already spoken for -- IIRC, that's what they used to compensate the hostages for their rough time.

But Obama did was give them the Shah's money plus interest in cash.

I think. I could be wrong on all of this.

565 $$ supposedly found throughout relevant appropriations, that can be reprogrammed for barrier construction. I really wonder about this - there are usually specific limits on reprogrammings without congressional approval - but point is, administration REALLY needs to lay it out in detail. Finally.

National emergency declaration presumably is key.

If judiciary dares to push the envelope even further, and attempt to hamper Trump on this, it will be his Nth and possibly last chance to defend the constitution and uphold his oath when it comes to judicial lawlessness.
