I'd recommend trying it if you ever get the chance. It's pricey as hell but a good evening. And yes; avoid the salad bar. Focus your energy on animals that eat salads.

98 Did some very good chicken wings in the smoker yesterday.

Sprinkle rub on your wings and put them in the smoker at 275 for 40 minutes.

Take them out and toss them in Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce and put them back in the smoker for another 40 minutes at 275.

They were very good.

134 I've been arrested twice cause I'm such a criminal. Once in OC, CA for half a dobie in the ashtray, but no cuffs cause they didn't have a female officer to take me in. It was the mid 80's. Next time was outside of Green River, UT. I touched the lane line getting on I-70. Got arrested for DWI after having 2 beers and a burger at Ray's. Got the cuffs but got out of them. Kidlet was with me. Impounded the car and had to call Dad. (not happy, although little bro was bailed out all the time) The little strip mall office for the cops was funny. They bought kidlet a burger and we sat on the curb out front. Typical Barney Fife. Never been behind bars.

Traditionally, that forces a change of government. There were rumblings about this early on - that the police union wasn't all that enthusiastic about quelling the riots. I haven't seen if that's changed, but if officers keep getting injured, if they have to keep coming out weekend after weekend, discontent will set in. "Blue flu" and all that.

If you listen to the Communists and the MFM you would think the atmosphere is heavily polluted with CO2 and CO from man-made sources. The fact is, there is only a tiny portion of the atmosphere content of carbon, and most of it does not come from man-made sources. If we eliminated ALL sources of mam-made CO2, including all people the CO2 content would barely change.

The major portion of the people pushing the man-made AGW scam are not looking to do anything with global CO2. They simply want to push communism. And that is exactly what commie AOC is all about.

Yes, a lot of war fever is based on not knowing what war actually is.

I didn't just write Man of Destiny to "fix Star Wars," I also wrote it to show how a non-violent, demilitarized society can gradually go all-in on total war through political ineptness and thoughtless brinksmanship.

If both sides thing the other will just give up, that's how you get unintended escalation.

In practical terms, you move from "hey, you hit that girl!" or "you burned my car!" to "wipe out the city and everyone in it."

It happens pretty fast, and we should be cautious about celebrating going down that road.

Once upon a time, the media loved a good story. There are two very good stories right now; one in France, one in Venezuela. Human interest stories. People dying, starvation, hyper-inflation, police brutality, riots.

They both involve the failure of governments to give one token shit about the will of the people. About the inability of the people to change their minds and now rid themselves of their socialist overlords.

But has our press decided to embargo these stories in order to advance the cause of socialism here? Because if that is so D-Lamp might have been a little too soon, a little too kind.

They work through insurance. Some insurance companies require you to rent the machine, and some will allow you to buy outright.

They try to force you into renting, because so many people get the machine, use it a few times and then stop, because they can be hard to get used to. Uncomfortable, etc. Your mileage may vary.
