The Quotes of The Day

Quote I

“All right, I’m getting into this late because I thought it was a joke. Do Dems believe Trump was born in Russia and sent here or did they flip him here as a teen in military school or did he flip himself at age 70 because the Communist light bulb went off?” Dennis Miller

Quote II

“I’m so blessed to be able to know that my vote really counts now,” she said moments after thanking Mayor Gilbert and posing for a photograph. “I’m just overwhelmed. I can’t wait to get my voter registration card in the mail.” Marolin Trotter

Quote III

“With all respect, I certainly hope she’s not the future and I don’t believe she is.” Former Sen. Joseph Lieberman (D-CT)

Quote IV

When you want college education for your kids, when you want better health care, when you want net neutrality, when you want all of those things, but your house is on fire and it’s burning down, you’ve got to put the fire out first and get your family out of the house.

That’s the type of prioritization we have to make if we are going to succeed in rescuing our country from this existential threat. Gov. Jay Inslee (D-WA)

Quote V

The US does not recognize the illegitimate result of a stolen election. We'll continue to stand with the people of Venezuela and against Maduro’s corrupt regime until freedom and democracy prevail in Venezuela! Vice President Mike Pence

My answer would be, "It's none of your fvcking business."

Boston city officials plan on pushing legislation requiring doctors to ask patients whether or not they possess firearms in their homes.

Mayor Martin J. Walsh’s administration said Wednesday that the step would be taken to help health care providers statewide “play a larger role in addressing gun violence” by identifying red flags or patients at risk of suicide or domestic violence.

“We’re just asking them to help identify ways to save lives,” Boston Police Commissioner William Gross told the Boston Business Journal, adding that the legislation won’t suggest that doctors should solve crimes and that owning guns won’t be included in patients’ medical records.

Why not ask about knives, rope, cars, baseball bats, booze and pills while you're at it.

No need to wine and dine this gal. Female corrections officer busted having sex in lockup.

A Texas corrections officer charged for sexual relations with an inmate was reportedly caught on camera having sex with another person in detention.

More charges were filed Thursday against Sinead Nichole Hagan, 27, for improper sexual activity with a person in custody at Hopkins County Jail, radio station KSST reported.

Previously Nobel Prize winning scientist James Watson had stuck his foot in his mouth. He's done it again.

The Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory (CSHL) has stripped James Watson, the 90-year-old Nobel Prize-winning scientist famous for determining the double-helix structure of DNA with his partner Francis Crick in the 1950s based on research conducted by British chemist Rosalind Franklin, of all his honorary titles after the laboratory deemed his recent remarks on race “reprehensible,” CNN reported this weekend.

Watson has long expressed questionable views, including a 1997 interview in which he expressed unreserved support for abortion rights—something that might have been relatively uncontroversial had he not specifically mentioned fetuses determined to have hypothetical genes leading to homosexuality, dyslexia, or a lack of musical or sports talent as valid reasons to terminate a pregnancy. But it’s his remarks on race that have drawn the most scorn, such as a 2007 interview with a British journalist in which Watson said he is “inherently gloomy about the prospect of Africa” due to (debunked) research allegedly showing racial gaps in intelligence, per the New York Times. In that interview, he also said he wished racial equality was real but “people who have to deal with black employees find this not true.” Watson apologized, though the incident ended in his semi-forced retirement as chancellor of the laboratory and later, his decision to sell his Nobel Prize.

However, the laboratory’s decision to revoke Watson’s honors and titles is the result of American Masters: Decoding Watson, a PBS documentary that aired earlier this month. In that interview, Watson said that his views had not changed and he had not “seen any knowledge” negating his belief that there is a genetic connection between race and intelligence, the Times wrote. He also said he took no joy in “the difference between blacks and whites” and that “It’s awful, just like it’s awful for schizophrenics.”

Plants Can Hear Animals Using Their Flowers. And they react to the buzzing of pollinators by sweetening their nectar.

But after many careful studies, it’s clear that plants can send airborne, chemical messages, warning faraway relatives about marauding plant-eaters, and that animals can eavesdrop on these communiqués. Plants can also influence one another through the network of fungi that connects their roots—a so-called wood-wide web. And they can respond to vibrations moving through their tissues: Many release pollen only when insects land on them and buzz at the right frequency, while others create defensive chemicals when they sense the rumbles of chewing insects.

Will the vegans be concerned about this?

How much would you like to bet she calls herself an Educator?

A school resource officer at an Ohio grade school was escorted off school property after he gave a parking ticket to the school principal.

Police officials in the town of Warren are peeved at the treatment of Officer Adam Chinchic, who reportedly had warned Jefferson School Principal Carrie Boyer numerous times about parking in spaces reserved for the handicapped.

“The officer asked her several times not to park there,” [Warren City Law Director Greg] Hicks told Fox-8. “My understanding she was parked in the striped area next to the handicap spot, and that is not allowed. She was told several times. If we allowed that, what would we be teaching our kids.”

The Marlboro Man is on his way out of a job.

Philip Morris International (PM), the maker of Marlboro and other brands, has said that is will phase out cigarettes in favor of smoke-free products.

The company has spent £3.5 billion (approximately $4 billion USD) on science and technology to prove its commitment and has racked up more than 3,000 patents, with another 5,000 patents pending, as part of its smoke-free effort, Yahoo Finance reported.

Philip Morris is undergoing much of its development at a Swiss research centre, where scientists are working diligently to monitor the impact of chemicals on human lungs and airways, Sky News reported.

On the research table is the IQOS, an electric device that is used to heat tobacco versus burn it. This is designed to lower the level of 15 noxious chemicals found in cigarette smoke by as much as 95 percent because of the cooler temperature it burns at, according to research by the company.

Too bad the Federal Government is shut down. Damn. What a shame!

When people burp and fart, it’s considered rude. When cows burp and fart, it contributes to the civilization-threatening trend of climate change.

That’s why scientists at the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) have been experimenting with new tools—including lasers and a device described as a “breathalyzer for cows”—to figure out how much methane US cattle release into the atmosphere.

Hide and seek. No mention of alcohol was involved with this posthumous Genius Award Winner.

A 21-year-old man found dead Saturday in an elevator shaft at a vacant building on Detroit's east side is believed to have fallen while playing a game of hide and seek, police said.

According to officials with the Detroit Police Department, the man, whose identity has not been released, was with a group of friends suspected of trespassing between midnight and 1:30 a.m. when they played the game on the ninth floor of the building near East Ferry and St. Aubin streets. Police said the man was running to hide and possibly fell through the elevator shaft.

19 That's the type of prioritization we have to make if we are going to succeed in rescuing our country from this existential threat. Gov. Jay Inslee (D-WA)

I get such a kick out of dems talking about existential threats to the country. If it were up to dems there would be American flags burning every day. They hate America and everyone knows it. They've spent decades screaming about how America is the source of all the evil in the world. And now, since they put their Indonesian Imbecile in the Oval Office - specifically to kill America and anything American - they are trying to claim that they like this country? LOL.

In Yiddish, this is called "Chutzpah".

But they can't ask (and don't want to ask) if they or anyone in their household is an illegal, I bet. Nooo. Illegals have some sort of right to steal health care, in addition to breaching our sovereignty, driving drunk, raping and spreading diseases like Typhoid Mary.

I am so sick and tired of doctors making pretend that everything that affects ones health (which is everything, basically) falls under their purview as life coaches and guardians of all. They need to stick to diseases. You know ... medicine. A person tripping in the street and smacking his face against the concrete isn't a medical issue. It's a spaz issue.

Runt video has been blocked.
And to further piss on Todd Rundgren, that video is from the Swing to the Right tour where he bashes Ronaldus Magnus and those of us who voted for him just like he bashes PDT and those of us who voted for him these days. He doesn't sell many songs, never has, and he doesn't need to lose half of his already-small audience.

Rundgren can go fuck himself. I was a big fan, but he opened his idiot mouth and proved that he has no business living in my country since he doesn't believe in freedom. He's dead to me.

Oh - Edward Carter. A hell of a soldier and man. Too damn tough to kill.

Shit on by Big Army during WWII because of how they treated Black troops. I won't spoil it for you but a terrific story - it took forever but he finally was properly recognized for his bravery.

His sons' testimony is very moving.

98 Oh, and since I promised to keep y'all updated. When sister and I arrived at the hospital today, Mr. Empire was having an EKG, so we left for the waiting room. When we went back to his room later, the EKG was over, but they'd taken him away immediately for an MRI.

Once we finally got to see him when they brought him back, he was looking a lot better than yesterday, coherent though with difficulty with a few words (mouth still dry). Had one of those imaging heart scans while we were there, then lunch, interrupted by meds and a blood test. (Ain't hospitals fun?)

Anyway, he's going to be there at least one more day, including being evaluated to see if he'll benefit from physical therapy.

But as I said, he's looking and sounding better, and his doctor is happy with his progress.

I do think we need to find a smaller place closer to town, much as I hate leaving the country. We're just getting too old to take care of 7 rented acres, I'm afraid.

Oh, and any of you with congestion, try those Breathe-Right style nasal strips. I got a pack, and have been breathing freely since I put the first one on (this is the Wal-Mart Equate version).

I may actually be able to get some decent sleep tonight, after waking repeatedly last night due to difficulty breathing -- and company from Mr. Empire's dog, who kept trying to burrow under the covers. Yuck!

No, he shouldn't. A doctor's job is to cure your diseases (when he is able) and to fix problems when they occur. He's not your life manager. A doctor is a fee-for-service provider, nothing more.

166 Chi-Town Jerry --

A couple of the places we're looking at are pretty close behind the hospital, with a Wal-Mart across the highway, both sisters in fairly close driving distance, and our primary care doc only a couple of blocks away. It's a very good hospital, excellent staff and equipment (IMO lousy food, though, but one can't have everything, and the rest is more important).

It may take us a bit to decide, then make arrangements, but much as I hate to leave where we are, I no longer think there's much of a choice.

It's funny how this works only one way. Some state, Florida I think, passed a law banning doctors from asking about guns. They sued, and one, First Amendment grounds, that the state couldn't mandate what conversations MDs have with their patients.

However, seems the state can mandate they ask these questions, and that doesn't run afoul of the same grand constitutional principles.

Little room for interpretation. "I refuse to answer" is pretty damn clear. But just in case it ever comes up and I know about it, I take pictures of my intake paperwork with my phone. If there's a gap, I'll happily litigate. I have zero patience for this kind of crap.

I want a mob doctor. One that doesn't keep records. I have a filing cabinet and plenty of manila folders. I just want to go to a doc, get what I need, and go home. I'll furnish my records on my next visit. If I need a prescription, he can give me the only copy on paper. Ideally, I don't even want him to know my name.

I am happy to pay cash for this, but I don't know how to find one. Something tells me a Craigslist ad reading "Wanted: Mob Doctor" wouldn't work out too well.

Far more kids drown in swimming pools than are killed by guns, and yet you never see Leftists suggesting that people be asked if they have a swimming pool when they go to the doctor.

Yet the risk to kids from guns is frequently cited as the reason why we need to more strictly regulate guns.

253 It's funny how this works only one way.

Posted by: publius, Rascally Rapscallion of a Poperin Pear at January 14, 2019 10:48 PM (f1Vqw)

A lot of states bar doctors from asking about legal status.

And most places require doctors to become junior cops every time a kid comes in with a broken bone - as if every parent is automatically a suspect for child abuse. It's disgusting and infuriating.

Most doctors seem to relish having these extra powers. They really are enamored with themselves and think that they should be put in charge of just about everything involving any patients, or even anyone, at all.

How do master tapes work? And when are they released?

IIANM, they're the final tapes given to the record companies to release to the public. The final link in the music production chain.
A mastering engineer listens to all the songs and adjusts the EQ and volume so they more closely match each other. Some songs aren't all recorded in the same studio by the same people, so there will be some differences in the way they sound and there are variations even if they are.

Better than that - if you work for the State of Oregon, you are required to report every suspected case of sexual abuse or assault you know about, on the job or off. Criminal penalties if you don't.

I had a relative who was going to a state school, and was working five hours a week for the school for ten bucks an hour, which made him a state employee. He was required to sign a form promising to report all sexual abuse that he was aware of - he nearly quit the job, rather than sign the form.

More and more the left doesn't like a lot of what science discovers and tries to prevent those facts from becoming common knowledge and forbidden for other scientists to use them.

I believe it was Lysenko? who turned Russian science into the world's laughing stock this same way.

It's been tested and studied and the fact is that race is a determinant of IQ. It's not a bad thing or a good thing it just is a fact.

Yet so afraid is the left that those who have that lower iq might be considered lesser beings that this fact cannot be allowed to be believed. Anyone who makes the claim in public is destroyed.

This will be the left's eventual undoing and that would be fine except that they will make everyone miserable while they sink into irrelevancy. As they are doing now.

I can't believe coffee isn't on that list. I had cataract surgery scheduled for 2:10 in the afternoon. I get a headache if I don't have coffee by 10:30 or 11 AM. I spent the weeks before doing a process of moving my first cup of the day from 11 to 2, a few minutes later each day, so I wouldn't have a headache and possibly nausea on the day of.

316 Master Tapes and Master Cuts are different.

Many times there are duplicate or 'Safety Masters' and for a period of time in the late 50s there were also Mono and Stereo Masters.

In a live setting, the Master is actually the live cut of the recording. This will later be massaged for the final working master that is then the Mother for all duplication purposes.

Unless you are cutting Direct to Disk. Then, the Master is it.

I am pretty sure that what I want (privacy) is a crime now, so I
would need a doctor willing to cooperate with that - which raises other

Unless you're a woman, then your right to privacy allows you to kill your own child in the most brutal way imaginable.

I'm sure there's some legal term for "situational privacy" since that only applies to certain things (as noted) but I have no idea what it is.

I didn't want to imply that you did. But when I was a kid my pediatrician kept my records in his house. And that was it. No one else knew they were there or had any right to see them. And when we switched doctors we had to get the records from his house to take to the new doctor, if we so desired.

What I meant by "minimally anonymous" was being able to see a doctor for cash who didn't keep any records of the visit outside of a general description of it (for tax purposes, obviously).

Multiple tracks are mixed separately during the recording process.. These are bounced down into (basically) 2x tracks. These are given (essentially) a final mix for the "master" which is the final tape step. Then it moves to the "mother", which are the plates for pressing. This is for vinyl.

Well in the case of the lathe yes. LPs are all essentially remastered at cutting. Usually very subtly. But the Cutting Engineer has to massage things to get the proper sound out of an LP. All while trying to stay true to the sound of the Production Master he is working from. Which itself was usually a copy.

When you get into how they were able to produce and issue an album Worldwide on a single day, you can't all be working from the same source.

Does the mono setting simply tie the left and right channels together for mono?
In that case use, a double-pole, single-throw switch (which can independently open/close two circuits). One side of the switch bridges Left to Right when closed, and the other illuminates the LED when closed. And the toggle works both sides of the switch together. There should be zero interaction between the audio side and the LED side, and the LED won't pull near enough current to make a "bump" in the audio from induction between closely-spaced parallel wires.

------------

Can't answer the corruption problem without further research, but I would think isolating which of the two RCA outs carries the mono leg of stereo to wire up for your led with 9v would be helpful. Perhaps also a signal strength meter on mono leg as it is bound to only get about 50% when in stereo than when in mono?

Sorry, as mentioned, this was over 35 years ago for me, and never practiced.

I've encountered one of those close up and personal, about fifteen feet away, in fact.

Back when I lived aboard the New Dawn at Payco Marina, one of those song dogs was stalking the feral cat population in the fields and salt-marshes on the North side of the basin.

I got one in the beam of my flashlight, and made a loud charge at him, at which time he bolted inland, at full coyote speed.

Same exact coloring as the photos, and the 'dog was easily 20% taller than your Standard Issue Texas Coyote. I've shot plenty of those, so my calibration was well adjusted.

At the onset of my "charge" the distance was about thirty feet. The dog stood it's ground until I had covered half the distance, and made his break.

I remembered it being "larger", but thought nothing of it at the time.

Go figure. Small world, right?

If you smoke cigarettes, you are willfully killing yourself. Some few smokers escape the cancer and emphysema smoking brings on.. but too few to mention.
I lost friends to smoking cancers. It's a damn hard way to go.
If you go to a doc for a flu or a cold or almost any other ailment and object to them asking you about smoking, you are quite simply a stupid asshole.. is that harsh enough for you?

392 Really, I am building a simple Mono Switch for my stereo. So, RCA ins and outs with an On / On Mini Toggle (Multi Lug).

I would like to add a small LED Indicator Light to let me know that it is in Mono Mode.

Since there is no power to the unit, I am thinking 9v Battery to power a 5 mm LED (I have a 6v one).

How to wire and will I have any issues with the audio signal re. corruption? How to avoid, if so.

Posted by: garrett
------------

I assume that you mean low-level outputs. How do you intend to mix the two channels to one?

So far as the LED goes, I would use a switch that provides enough poles so that the LED is switched independently (electrically) from the audio.

For power, if you feel up to it, just locate a DC supply in your equipment and pull a line to the switched LED, with in-line resistor.

That's a complicated question! A producer can influence the actual song a lot, actually assisting in the writing (or specifically, re-writing) process... or contribute nothing at all to the finished song. It depends upon each song and what the artist/s want. Most commonly, the producer's contribution to what you hear as a finshed song recording is by way of arrangements... which can completely change how you can perceive the song (recording) without altering or adding to the theoretical (or written) song. Producer is the sound "big picture" guy. Overall sound, feeling, arrangements... often overdubs and added instruments etc. But it's not unusual to actual instigate re-writes.

Posted by: garrett

Well, you should provide some isolation between the two channels. Ideally, this would be done using an Op-amp circuit, but a pair of isolation resistors will probably work okay.

stereo out L. ----->1K resistor1
stereo out R ------>1K resistor2
ground ------------->

Tie the outputs of R1 and R2 together. That becomes your mono signal.

The LED is another matter. I would certainly use the amp power supply and a limiting resistor.

Now you'll have to figure out how many switch poles you need to do all of that.

Nol, no, no.

You never wire an LED without a resister. The resistor is most important for regulating the amperage, which is what kills LEDs. LEDs won't regulate amperage, at all, and a tiny, tiny spike in voltage would allow a shitload of current through.

Besides, if he's using a 9v battery there is definitely going to be an extra ton of voltage in the system.

Always put a resistor in your LED circuits.

That's a funny story! Don't always get demo recordings ahead of the sessions... though they are a big help. Sometimes you get your best ideas from hearing the band play the songs/tunes live, at gigs. It gives you a different perspective to the potential finished track. Sometimes you are hearing the songs for the first time during the sessions, in the mixing process and you wing it.

Accompanying a sizzling plate of classic beef fajitas.

One of the Best Beers, ever.

Smooth as silk, rich flavor, no bitter bite.

It's not a beer that rewards drinking from the bottle though, I'll grant you that.

Similar (former) category? Newcastle Ale.

The authentic British import was in a word, BEAUTIFUL.

What we get here now though, brewed by Molson in Canada, is but a pale shadow of the original.

It's still a good beer with a steak. "Good" though, is a long way down from the "EPIC" of the real thing.

Yeah ... there are all different types with different voltage drops. But the thing is that if you push one tiny bit of extra voltage through them they act as shorts and the amperage goes through the roof.

I'm sure that a lot can take a good amount of abuse and still work for a while but it's just better to regulate the amperage with the resistor sucking off the over voltage.

Anyway, that's how I do it.

The field on the thing runs through an old selenium rectifier stack.

No, It's not radium paint. Just zinc sulfide or some other compound, like fluorescein dye, that will glow when illuminated by black light lamps.
Radium dials glow for literally years because they are self-energized by the radiation from contained radium and daughter products. My M29 Weasel has radium numerals and pointer on the speedometer, up to 30 MPH only. I could go out to the shop in the dark, and see it glimming away, faintly.

542 Jim beat me to it - have never seen Negra Modelo in a can. However, Modelo is often seen in cans. Very different style beer, though not bad, either.

Tastes vary. But remember good Mexican beer is good for the same reason good Chinese beer is good ..... Germans. Believe both country's beer traditions directly based on their respective periods/enclaves of German presence/influence.

Wonder if they make Noche Buena any more? Haven't seen it in decades. The bock bier made by the makers of Dos Equis (?) at Christmas-time. Beautiful foil labels on the bottles, poinsettias. Used to have limited distribution - I knew people who knew where to get some every year, but most could never find it.

I don't like the jarred green olives on a pie. But fresh pitted and sliced green olives are good. They go great with shrimp on a pie. You can toss a few capers around if you like, as well.

630 If this is ostensibly related to Health Care, it should be a HIIPA covered matter and not disclosable outside the context of medical treatment. Penalties should apply if it is disclosed to Law Enforcement or someone not involved in the direct medical treatment of the disclosing patient. However, in the real world, it will be disclosed, as we all know, to all sorts of government minions. Therefore, as the OP said, "It's none of your fvcking business."Sound advice. However, wait for Insurance Commissioners to start requiring insurers to collect "access to gun" questions of prospective insureds so that the insurers ostensibly can calculate risks of suicide, accident, etc. THEY will never stop until THEY can confiscate all guns.

-I would like to thank all of you for being here tonight.

-I would especially like to thank those watching from above, the Grandparents that could not be here with us. May God continue to bless you and keep you well. *need to add something about living grandparents on his side*.

-This is the proudest moment of my life. My daughter is the most amazing person I have ever known. "Sorry Mom, you did not get your wish that I had a kid that was twice as bad as me". {Laughs}

-Throughout her life, and with very little guidance from parents required, Maddy has always done the right thing. I have absolutely no doubt she has continued this trend in marrying Justin tonight.

-Early on in their relationship, I asked her why she was dating someone so much older than she was (8 years). Leaving aside the expletives, she explained to me what her thoughts were about guys her age. {Laughs}

-And so this is true. She has just married a very good and fine man. Maddy's mother and I proudly welcome you to our family, Justin, along with the rest of your family.

-I see nothing but good things coming in your futures. May the road always rise up to meet you, and may the the best days of your past be the worst days of your futures! Slainte!

678 >>>Really?. Why? It ties with the next statement. I'm open to it, but curious.

My three top objections, in the context of a Father of the Bride speech:

Reporting that you had asked her why she was dating someone so much older has raised the specter that you had some disagreement about the relationship. "So much older" is raising a characteristic that some will find a valid ground for criticism, a touchy topic. Mentioning "expletives" as one of her personal features gives that a lot of play amid a handful of features you've chosen to name.

Any of these comments would be fine in some setting. But this speech is a keepsake, a memory of your daughter's happy day, and you have few words sum up your daughter. Make them happy words.

In my opinion.

Eight year discrepancy in age, unless they're in their 50's is kinda something *I* wouldn't note. But that's me.

The parents of groom, who changed his diapers, watched him take his first steps, perhaps saw him slowly mature, might be a little more sensitive to that then you who only saw him as an adult.

Hence, the nervous laughter on their part.

709 So I wasted a minute and a half of my life on the Gillette commercial. No real story there. Bet someone paid a fortune and it will win some kind of BS award.

It is just more SJWhoring. Strange that men are bad for looking at women, maybe even doing some tail chasing, and even a little roughhousing. That is BAD for our culture. But 12 million illegals living outside our our societal laws and norms is just peachy. There are more pregnant 10 YOs in Mexico City each year than all of the US. Toxic Masculinity is just a phrase made up to apply to men when there is no real criticism of their lives or deads. You work hard to pay cash for a big truck.
You gave up partying, put in extra hours, created additional value for your company, improved someones elses life or property, exchanged your life (time is life) for a material item created and manufactured by other hard working men and woman.

And as we must find fault because you are a man, TADA, Toxic Masculinity!

711 The comments on the DNA is racist article are fascinating to read.

In what way? I just read them all, on your lead, and they read like pretty much every comment thread on divisive topics. I particularly "like" the people who have never heard of the topic before last Tuesday suddenly shrieking the definitive position.

Yes, that, mostly. Granted it's no Yahoo or Youtubes comment section, but it's still fun to watch the pretzelmaking. You've got to be sure to make it where you can see the pending (unapproved) comments, too.

I'd quoted one that was my favorite and had gotten lots of approved likes but it was yielding a 500 error.

Roughly: Someone should go back in time and kill Christopher Columbus for being the father of modern racism.

I've said, ever since the left created this fantasy of a 'war on women' that they were projecting and their true intent was to wage war on men.

If first stage feminism carried the ball across the goal line, second stage went into the out-of-bounds area, and third stage is now over the wall, into the stands beating up on the predominately male crowd.

729 A first edit of the toast at daughter's wedding. Thoughts?:

-I would like to thank all of you for being here tonight.

-I would especially like to thank those watching from above, the Grandparents that could not be here with us. May God continue to bless you and keep you well. *need to add something about living grandparents on his side*.

-This is the proudest moment of my life. My daughter has amazed me from a very early age. "Sorry Mom, you did not get your wish that I had a kid that was twice as bad as me". {Laughs}

-Throughout her life, and with very little guidance from parents required, Maddy has always done the right thing. I have absolutely no doubt she has continued this trend in marrying Justin tonight. This is where we see how many shades of red Maddy's face can get. Just look at my little girl! She's positively sparkling!

-After seeing some of the boys her age she had to choose from, I'm proud that she instead chose a man to marry.

Slainte!

No. Funny, but keep it positive. Say nothing that will take away the joy of the day. It doesn't have to be clever or lengthy, say things they want to hear and remember.

Electric cars make some limited sense in cities as a way to reduce air pollution in them. Air pollution makes residents of cities dumber, dropping IQ points significantly. Turning the residents into zombies that vote 110% for Democrats.
