Local Seattle News Director Placed on Leave After Allegations He Deliberately Distorted the Video of Trump's Speech to Make Him Look Crazy

Enemy of the People.

Shall we keep pretending otherwise?

In a statement, Q13 seemed to confirm that their video editor had intentionally altered the footage to make the president look crazy.

"We are investigating this to determine what happened," said Q13's news director. "This does not meet our editorial standards and we regret if it is seen as portraying the President in a negative light. The editor responsible for editing the footage is being placed on leave while we investigate further.”

The video -- shown below side-by-side with the real video -- seems to leave little doubt that this was a deliberate manipulation of video to make Trump look insane. Watch the business with the tongue.

I used to to work in local tv, and my feeling is that... everyone there was OK with this.

They all hate Trump. If this was live, someone in master control saw this and let it go. If it was not live, and was played later during the news, the producer, the director, the executive producer, the news director, the anchors and everyone in the control room saw this and was OK with it.

That's how they roll.

you know that is funny. the first time I ever had someone suggest methods and styles of entry was while we were on the jv bench watchig the varsity basketball team play.

my friend who had older brothers was giving me advice for a date I was going to go on with a cute girl in our class. he was asking me "so how are you going to do it?"

my response was "do what?"

he went off on how you have to have sex and lots of stuff he had heard from his brothers.

he did have some advice that would later prove useful.

there was lots of advice on getting everything ready bu the key take away was "you can't just shove it in!"

we went to the movie, went to dinner, went home. nothing happened.

361 They really would like Trump to stand on his dignity and take all of their barbs, smears, slams, lies, etc. without replying because "it would be beneath him" and he would be "punching down" except they forgot that this is Donald Trump who made his celebrity chops in NYC in the center of cut throat media spotlight grabbing.
Trump not react? Trump not have two to five different responses on hand to return the slam for points?
Once Ann Althouse wrote that Trump has comedic timing and that is a good observation - Trump has the timing of a stand-up comic dealing with a heckler. He is faster on his frontal lobes with a reply and a put-down than anyone since Don Rickles or Joan Rivers.
If they were smart (not a chance in Gehenna) the media would play him straight, just go for mild reporting, right up the middle, with the subtle barbs being laid that way. That would give him nothing to get a hold on. But they aren't smart so they go over the top and trash themselves trying to get the slippery Golden Scalp Weasel.
Ahoy!

Our Spanish teacher at the military school I attended back home in Alabama was from Cuba (and smokin' hot, too). Her son was a classmate of mine and lived around the corner, so we played together a lot. I always used to ask him where his Dad was and he's always say "back in Cuba." I didn't get it until years later when I read about Castro's commie revolution and put two and two together finally. Never did find out what happened to him since Mumsey Dearest relocated us to Huntsville after Brookley AFB got shut down. I hope he got to come here. My friend John was cool. NPC: Non Player Character. All of the people in the DD module the dungeon master would handle for your party, such as the local guards, innkeeper, serving wench and so on. In computer games these are the same persons your character interacts with. The NPC has limited responses programmed in. In the real world (ha ha) of the internet the NPC is someone who regurgitates stock political phrases with out thinking about them, i.e. "Orange Man Bad!"
Cuck: From cuckhold, a man whose wife is sleeping with another man. References someone who used to hold an ideology true but has decided to betray it. Such as the true-blue rock-ribbed conservatives of the Weekly Standard, Cap'n Bill Kristol publisher (Ahoy!) who have decided that taking Lefty money to attack the Golden Scalp Weasel is the truest expression of conservativism because, hey, it's a lot of zeros on that check.

No, they were just ancient and obsolescent planes by 1940, which managed to play some important roles.

Not so much extra stability, but provided more lift at low air speeds. The British Swordfish torpedo bombers were obsolescent pieces of shit by 1940 but punched above their weight class: crippled the Bismark and the conducted the raid against the Italian navy at Taranto.
