"I'm watching the 6-part documentary 'The Clinton Affair' on A&E, and you know what chaps my buns? They write off the exposure of the Clintons' crimes as just smear campaigns by political operatives such as 'The American Spectator' magazine, and Rush Limbaugh. But then they need to show someone who tells us these things, who sort of tells us the way things really are, a straight-shooter whom the audience can trust, and do you know who they pick? David Effing Brock. They don't bother to mention Media Matters or American Bridge 21st Century or any of the other organizations Brock has put together to smear conservatives, boost Hillary Clinton. The audience is never told any of these things, and one of the most rabidly partisan attack dogs in national politics is presented as a more or less neutral, unbiased observer. Oh, and attack politics was completely unknown in Washington until it was invented by Newt Gingrich. I'll bet you morons didn't know that, either. But 'The Clinton Affair' isn't all bad, it does do a pretty good job showing how Bill Clinton was such a complete sleazebag. Unlike Trump's past sexual adventures, Bill was carrying his on while he was on the job, as President, in a little room adjacent to the Oval Office. One of his secretaries obviously knew what was going on and ran interference for him. And some of the women who are now hollering '#MeToo' were among his most ardent defenders. So when Trump's critics bring up Stormy Daniels, they only response they deserve is a loud, braying horse laugh."

You ever produce one million of a product? Even produced with high speed equipment of a couple items per second it takes weeks. There aren't enough cops in this country to round up hundreds of millions of guns in any time frame less then decades. Especially with any resistance, which there most certainly would be.

You go with your son and you get a bunch of pipes and angles and connectors and you build really cool looking contraptions.

Being an originalist on the court, one would think they shouldn't care about optics.

You could make an arguement that an originalist might think stripping funding from a program is the job of congress not the court.

It's even worse than people think. In CT they have had a stealth gun registration running since 1990 because the State runs their own NICS check database and they keep a permanent record of every gun transaction done in the State.

They have names, addresses and the make, model and serial number for every "assault rifle" sold in the State since 1990.

The State knows who did and did not register their guns. And so far they have not arrested a single person for failure to register their guns despite numerous calls from state legislators to round them up.

They are afraid of what will happen if they try to arrest tens of thousands of people.

Don't know the case. But it's wild speculation to say Kav "sided with" PP based on this. We don't have any idea why the case was not taken, or his stand on its merits.

Recall the "problem" with the likes of Gorsuch and Kav and probably Alito and Thomas is that they ..... are judges, who take their oath seriously and understand their proper role. As Gorsuch said in his confirmation process, he enforces laws he doesn't approve of, if they are constitutional and otherwise proper (words to that effect). They're not there to vote, as opposed to judge, as Andy McCarthy put it, perfectly, following one of the O-care outrages.

Given an incredibly dumb and ignorant electorate, with no source of good info, and the complete abandonment of proper judicial behavior by a huge portion of the judiciary - and the legal cult's inability to imagine rebelling against a lawless judiciary, and Congress's abandonment of its key role - I don't think just tweaking the personnel (i.e. appointing judges instead of political drones) will suffice.

186 It's a tough thing to quantify, but by my estimation, roughly four in five "conservative" judges are closet statists who veer hard left as soon as they have lifetime appointment to the federal bench (or the SC, if they are very, very ambitious).

Once they are freed from the constraints of the voters and party politics, they can and do let their freak flags fly.

That's why I was always apprehensive about both Kavanaugh and Gorsuch, and they will both likely disappoint us.

That said, it was right to back him up to the hilt. It wasn't really about him. That victory broke one of the Left's sharpest swords.

You've got the left's plan wrong, I think. They'll pass stricter laws, but won't do wholesale gun confiscation. Manufacturers and vendors will comply, legit gun owners will go underground, and it will fall from public acceptance into a freaky sub culture to most americans. It'll only be used as a severe criminal enhancement when they bust someone for a separate offense, slowly reducing gun ownership across the land without the need for major police action.

Burying guns is about preserving your options. What happens if the JBTs raid your home and clean out your gun safe while you're at work? Then you're only left with what you happen to be carrying.

Also, if you're thinking about burying some insurance, dig the hole next to your fence. Then dig laterally so that the PVC vault rests under your commie anti-gun neighbor's yard. That immensely complicates things for the JBTs and their search warrants.
