3 Minute Rule:

Speed (kts) * 100 = Distance (yds) traveled in 3 minutes

Example: if traveling 20 knots, the distance you've traveled in 3 minutes is as follows:

20kts *100 = 2000yds

for 15 knots, 15kts * 100 = 1500yds

MOVE THE DECIMAL TO THE RIGHT TWO PLACES – ANSWER IS IN YARDS

138 To be fair, government dairy price supports arose because prices had collapsed in the 1930s, it was that bad. They just never went away. I suppose it was a result of "the government should do something." They did have the effect of keeping prices from fluctuating wildly. Probably another bad idea. The surplus cheese in the 60s was stored in underground caves and was a process type "cheese" to save room. It was good for grilled cheese sammiches and dips.

163 At the time there was something almost comforting about government spending, at least when politicians tended towards HR Gross types, and not Ocassional-Cortex types.

There was at least nominal oversight, and the pols were all depression-era and Ww II types who had had a real education in things like accounting and math and the rest of it. Not phony balogna stuff like today. So while the government was spending billions for Saturn V rockets, the chairs were standard green metal folding type. Bigwigs got green desks with wheeled chairs. Some are still in use today no doubt. The chairs squeeked in a certain way I can still hear. Even the post office got the mail to the right house. So the support was there, when government actually worked.

Both! Someone sitting in an office in DC or Austin deciding the price of a commodity will always artificially cause either 1) a shortage of the product as the producers will not create something that does not return a profit or 2) a excess of the produce as producers will create excess against the market wishes knowing that an agency will absorb (at inflated value) the surplus.

At the average speed of 80 mph on I-75, I can be in the outskirts of Atlanta in an hour. From there it may take another hour to actually get downtown, depending on traffic. I'll be damned though if I would take a train to Macon to Atlanta. The thought of riding with the denizens of either city turns my stomach.

Right. And he was opening an obstruction of justice investigation into Trump and being pushed and aided by Strzok, Page, Priestap and other corrupt members of the FBI.

Just interesting to note that Mueller's appointment short circuited all of that and took the investigation out of the hands of the FBI and as best I can tell every person in the FBI who was involved has been removed and there is no obstruction case against Trump.

314 >>Every person involved might be a stretch instead of the major players. Wasn't the raid on the whistleblower an operation to root out some of the rest?

There have been something like 2 dozen senior DOJ/FBI officials fired, forced to retire or retired since then. That doesn't include lower level people who mostly weren't involved in this.

Remember Stzok's text about "the small group"? This was an op run by a relatively small cabal at the top of the DOJ/FBI and kept in DC instead of involving the field offices.

I don't think we know yet what was the reason for the raid on the whistleblower. He was supposed to be on Hannity and then abruptly cancelled. It could have been an illegal raid or it could have been something as simple as recovering what in fact are stolen documents. Hopefully we will get more info on that soon.

In any case, he had already turned over copies to Horowitz and both the House and Senate intel committees so the documents were already in the hands of the people looking into the issue.
